Dog Haus’s Gourmet Hot Dogs Will Soon Arrive in Houston | Eater Houston
"An Atlanta-born breakfast restaurant that just opened its first Houston-area outpost in Memorial City at 12389 Kingsride Lane, known for massive, fluffy biscuits and morning-friendly dishes like pancakes, shrimp and grits, and egg plates; a second Midtown location is planned for late next year as it competes with local breakfast rivals." - Amy McCarthy
"A Georgia-born comfort-food breakfast chain that launched in an Atlanta suburb in 1993 and has grown to 15 locations across Texas, North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia, is expanding to Houston after opening its first Texas outpost in Dallas last year. The chain has signed a deal for two Houston locations (no addresses announced yet) and bills itself on all-day breakfast—pancakes, omelets and a tofu scramble—alongside Southern classics like shrimp and grits, chicken pot pie topped with biscuits, and fried green tomatoes. Biscuits are a prominent feature, served with cranberry-apple butter and even used in a chocolate biscuit bread pudding. The expansion was announced via press release, and local reporters have sought further details on timing and specific addresses." - Amy McCarthy
Oh my gosh, I WILL BE BACK, amazing food amazing service amazing prices! Dawn gave us an unforgettable experience, everything was fresh and fast! Best waffle I’ve ever had. Also I’ve never wanted to try grits, but THEY WERE 10/10 here!!

The breakfast was pretty good overall. The waffle stood out with its perfectly crisp exterior and fluffy center, making it absolutely delicious. The stuffed French toast had a nice balance of sweetness and richness, and was quite enjoyable. The sausage egg and cheese biscuit was warm, hearty, and full of flavor. Everything was well prepared. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are looking for a solid breakfast to start your day.

Amazing food with great service. I got the Biscuits & Gravy which was absolutely delicious, wife got the Best I Ever Had french toast which was also a winner. They serve a real smooth cup of coffee as well.
The only downside to the entire experience is the lack of noise control for the restaurant interior. Hard plaster walls with brick accents, combined with a bare interior ceiling and tile floors makes for a deafeningly loud environment. Noise levels were high enough to be painful.

Absolutely wonderful first experience here. We live nearby and wanted to try it for my birthday it exceeded our expectations. They even gave free pancakes for my birthday. Leslie was awesome and we will come back just for her!

Had a really good experience here. The service was efficient, and our server, Dawn, was attentive and professional throughout. She checked in at the right times and made sure everything ran smoothly without any delays. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and was exactly as described. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable visit. Would definitely return—and would be happy to have Dawn as our server again.

My wife recommended this place so we went together. Love the creamy grits, pancakes, sunny side up eggs, potatoes, bacon. Just be aware if you order omelettes or scrambled eggs it is liquid carton texture and taste, not fresh cracked eggs.
Last visit I had classic eggs Benedict and it was so good.
