All-Day Breakfast Destination Plots Houston Expansion | Eater Houston

"A Georgia-born comfort-food breakfast chain that launched in an Atlanta suburb in 1993 and has grown to 15 locations across Texas, North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia, is expanding to Houston after opening its first Texas outpost in Dallas last year. The chain has signed a deal for two Houston locations (no addresses announced yet) and bills itself on all-day breakfast—pancakes, omelets and a tofu scramble—alongside Southern classics like shrimp and grits, chicken pot pie topped with biscuits, and fried green tomatoes. Biscuits are a prominent feature, served with cranberry-apple butter and even used in a chocolate biscuit bread pudding. The expansion was announced via press release, and local reporters have sought further details on timing and specific addresses." - Amy McCarthy

My husband and I had brunch at The Flying Biscuit Cafe on Wednesday, Christmas Eve, and everything was absolutely delicious! It brought back memories of the last time I dined at one of their locations in Atlanta some years ago. We both ordered the Smoked Salmon Scramble which comes with three scrambled eggs with chopped wood-smoked salmon and dill cream cheese. We both decided to get the moon-dusted potatoes and I ordered a side of grits. I asked for the hollandaise sauce to be put on the side of my potatoes instead of on top, and my husband opted out of the sauce altogether. The sauce added a nice touch, it was very tasty. The dish also came with their infamous fluffy flying biscuit that comes with your choice of butter or cranberry apple butter, or both. The cranberry apple butter is delicious. We were seated right away. For the day before Christmas it wasn't busy at all. Our server was so friendly and helped us to decide on what to get and she was spot on! Everything was great. It's a very casual atmosphere. A place where you can get a great meal and sit and socialize when you're done.

The Flying Biscuit Cafe was a restaurant that came up in my searches to stop by and check out. Glad to say it’s a great spot for a morning breakfast stop. Service was a bit lacking on my visit: server never came back to add additional items or a refill, nor was I able to check out without asking for assistance. So you better speak up if you need something. Hopefully the next time is better. The noise level is on the higher side, you can get a preview from the videos I posted. But in its defense, it’s shows how much of a local favorite it really is. So I believe this is to be expected. So this could go either way depending on location and or customer. For time and rush reference: My visit wasn’t during the prime breakfast hour, I actually arrive an hour before the beginning of Lunch. The food was good, great flavors, fresh. Would definitely order it again, and look forward to trying more on my next visit. I would say the dishes are more tradition breakfast comfort foods such as: Waffles, Hash, Biscuits, Eggs, Gravy, French Toast, Omelets, etc. So they have a little of everything to fit what someone may be looking for. It’s definitely worth a visit and a much better choice than the fast food alternatives. How was your visit? Do you have a favorite item we have to try? Until next time.

Oh my gosh, I WILL BE BACK, amazing food amazing service amazing prices! Dawn gave us an unforgettable experience, everything was fresh and fast! Best waffle I’ve ever had. Also I’ve never wanted to try grits, but THEY WERE 10/10 here!!

I was visiting Houston Texas and my sister suggested that we go to the Flying Biscuit for breakfast and I promise you that the food was awesome and the whole atmosphere was very outstanding 👌🏾 👏🏾 😀 The staff was totally awesome and very polite 😀 Keep up the great service and the prices aren't bad at all. It's totally worth a visit. Highly recommend this location 👌🏾

The breakfast was pretty good overall. The waffle stood out with its perfectly crisp exterior and fluffy center, making it absolutely delicious. The stuffed French toast had a nice balance of sweetness and richness, and was quite enjoyable. The sausage egg and cheese biscuit was warm, hearty, and full of flavor. Everything was well prepared. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are looking for a solid breakfast to start your day.

Dawn was our server and she was GREAT…. Those grits were delicious but next time I need more shrimp… atmosphere was great as well.. this is our second time sitting in but I e taken food to go before also.. Thanks for another wonderful brunch.

Google
Order today and finally made it home to eat my food. For starts no biscuit was with my order. That was no problem but then I start to eat my food. When he took my order he asked how did I want my eggs. I say scrambled. Then proceed to ask what cheese do you have. He says American and white cheddar. I say American he says you want white cheddar. I say NO I want American. So please explain why I have white cheddar on my eggs. If your workers are not going to follow simple instructions then get new ones. Oh and the breakfast potatoes are salty. Just poor service all the way around!

Google
Had a really good experience here. The service was efficient, and our server, Dawn, was attentive and professional throughout. She checked in at the right times and made sure everything ran smoothly without any delays. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and was exactly as described. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable visit. Would definitely return—and would be happy to have Dawn as our server again.

Yelp
We tried this place today and we loved it, food was good, eggs cooked perfect, grits creamy, it was all so tasty. The service was great and very friendly, cute place, we went at noon on a Friday so it was quick to get a table. I imagine the weekends might be pretty busy. We can't wait to get back. Also, I have to mention, the bathroom was clean.

Yelp
Food is always good. Good breakfast place for the weekend. Dawn A was our server! She was on top of everything!

Yelp
One of the best breakfast/brunch places in the area! I always get their waffles with a side of strawberries and whip cream! We always get seated within 5 minutes even during weekends.

Yelp
My brother invited me to have breakfast here on a Sunday morning around 9:30 am. This was my first time trying Flying Biscuit. There was spacious parking in the complex. It was busy inside but we were immediately seated. The murals on the wall immediately caught my attention. Really cool to see every inch decorated including the ceiling. Our server was nice and patient with our group of 6 which included 2 young kids. I like how there was a tv with a Shrek movie playing which is helpful to keep kids occupied while waiting for the food! We got the French toast & buttermilk pancake entrees from the kids menu and substituted the chicken sausage for the bacon. There was a mistake with one of the kids' orders when it arrived with bacon but our server immediately helped to correct the order, which I appreciated! The kids also shared a hot chocolate. For the adults, we got the sausage, egg, cheese biscuit sandwich & the bacon biscuit sandwich. Both with moon dusted potatoes. My sis-in-law was able to customized her omelette, which was accommodating! Overall, everyone enjoyed the meal which all came out pretty quickly. The kids enjoyed their meals except for the chicken sausage. The pancake was perfectly fluffy. I like how they use whip cream to make a smiley face. I thought the breakfast was good but the biscuit was easily crumbling and on the dryer side than what I would prefer. The potatoes were decent!

Yelp
The Flying Biscuit Cafe is an eclectic, high-volume, low cost breakfast restaurant. The interior is bright and whimsical making it very inviting. There were over 100 folks in the restaurant at breakfast with customers going in and out at a pretty rapid pace. There is a definite division of labor - Wait staff take the order, some from the kitchen delivers the order to your table and the cleanup crew cleans the tables at the blinking of an eye. Rachel, my server, was personable and helpful in suggesting popular items on the menu. She also offered me a cup of ice water to go...nice touch! I ordered a sausage biscuit with grits combo. Both were quite tasty. The biscuit tasted like it could have been made from Grandma's kitchen, however, it was a bit soft and fell apart as she ate it. It was nevertheless, quite tasty. It important to note, I asked why the restaurant was called the Flying Biscuit and no one seemed to know.

Yelp
After attending church my mama said she had a taste for some fluffy French toast. After browsing through the Clock App, I came across the decadent strawberry-topped French toast at Flying Biscuit. At first glance, it looked like it would be overkill for a sweet tooth, but surprisingly, my mama approved, so we made our way over. As expected, there was a wait--estimated at 20 minutes--but we were seated much sooner. The menu options are plentiful, the interior feels like a whimsical 90s cartoon set, and the food service is quick. I ordered the Hangover Hash; the chicken was seasoned to perfection, the potatoes were just right, and the fluffy biscuit with cranberry-apple butter truly made me feel like I wanted to fly. It was that heavenly. My mama loved her French toast and classic breakfast spread of eggs and chicken sausage. Needless to say, Flying Biscuit is officially added to my go-to brunch favorites, especially because unlike many other brunch spots, the prices are affordable and the checks do not include automatic gratuity.

Yelp
Great breakfast! We stopped in here after church and we're very pleased with the experience. People were very nice and the food was amazing! Great biscuits were just the beginning. I had an omelette that was very, very good. She even offered to bring me some avocados since I am currently eating keto and could not enjoy the potatoes which I'm sure were very good. I had to sample a tiny piece of the biscuit, which was delicious. The first round of coffee wasn't great, but we mentioned it and she brought us some fresh coffee that was very good. Recommended if you are in the memorial mall area in Houston.

Yelp
I've gone about three times for the Flyer Breakfast special. It's a great deal for $7. The last time, I asked for real honey instead of syrup. It wasn't brought. The grits are ok. The biscuit and apple butter are delicious. I don't eat meat. Wait staff have been giving me a biscuit instead. My final bill had coffee in it which I didn't order.

Yelp
Recommend reservations on the weekends. Atmosphere was nice - family oriented - can accommodate groups. Seating (with a reservation) was prompt, and service was good. Food was delicious! Recommend the bloody mary to add to your weekend breakfast + the moon dusted potatoes!

Yelp
Went on a Saturday morning and had a great experience. The menu is extremely extensive so there is definitely something there for everyone. We ordered the Tropical Mimosa and the bellini for drinks and got the three amigos tacos, the piedmont omelette, and a side of French toast to share. The tropical mimosa tasted like a typical mimosa with a slight hint of pineapple at the end (5/10) and the peach bellini was a bit sweeter and reminded me of the barefoot peach moscato (5.5./10). Both were pretty standard and comparable to other brunch drinks that I've had. The 3 amigos tacos were super filling and I really enjoyed the fact that it came with a side of signature hot sauce, salsa verde, and queso. The corn tortillas were fresh, though I wished that I added a protein because I felt like the chicken chorizo was not super prominent in the dish. Additionally, I was a big fan of the moon dusted potatoes. They were crispy and well-seasoned. (6/10) The piedmont omelet was a standard and comparable to others I've had. (6/10) The grits were creamy and the perfect consistency (7/10) and the biscuit was soft and buttery (6.5/10). The French toast was good, however the honey cream anglaise and the raspberry sauce made it a bit too sweet for me, but it is served on the side so you can definitely eat it without the sauces. (5/10) Overall, the service was good, the food portions were huge (I ate my breakfast tacos for the next two meals), and parking is easy to find. I would definitely come again to try more! If you are looking for brunch with a southern hearty twist I would recommend!

Yelp
What a fantastic find! The grits are a must. The omelette was tasty (chorizo, cheese, and serranos). The biscuit hit the spot. My wife had tomato soup and grilled cheese. It was perfect for a stormy cold morning. We don't have enough simple and good diners like The Flying Biscuit Cafe. Service was on point. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Nice welcome in. It was full but I didn't have to wait for a spot since I was by myself, I got seated as soon as I walked in. I ordered Steak and Eggs and mimosa. I asked for well done, scrambled eggs and it came with creamy grits and one biscuit. It was taking a while to get my food. The waitress came over and kindly apologized that they had lost my order. She explained so nicely and said they would give me the mimosa with no charge. I got my order and it was just as I requested. I don't eat steak often but I was craving it and it was well done and not dry. The eggs were nicely scrambled and the biscuit was good, the creamy grits was ok. My favoritetype of grits is the thick texture but it was ok. I ate it all. I like the cute tables.

Yelp
Went on a Saturday and there was a 15min wait (pretty quick compared to other breakfast spots). Our server was nice and friendly. We got the Drops of Jupiter and the Comfort Scramble which were pretty good. I think the only thing that I didn't necessarily like was the seating. I felt that everyone was pretty close to one another when it came to different tables.
google avatar

Catherine L.

Yelp
This place is so cute! Each wall is painted beautifully and has a different mural all throughout the space. 5 stars for their branding. Each time I've come there is always a wait. They did not take my number this time and we all had to wait inside or right outside to know when our name would be called (old school, I like it). Our server was nice but not attentive throughout the dining experience. We probably only interacted when we sat down, when we ordered and when we got the food. No check ins or asking if we needed anything else. I had to get their attention when we were out of water for minutes. Food was amazing! Well, at least mine was. You see that pancake photo?? That was the oatmeal substitute for a gluten free pancake and it was delicious! Didn't even have to put syrup on it. Grits we're the BEST I ever had?! My husband ordered the breakfast burger and did not enjoy it at all. By the look of it, the burger patty itself looked average and that's what it tasted like. Not fulfilling or satisfying for him BUT the rest of the menu had other options we would come back again for.

Yelp
My friend and I were in the area and did a quick google search for a nearby breakfast/brunch spot. We settled in Flying Biscuit based off reviews and the variety of food options we saw they offered. Our server was very friendly and helped us on deciding what to order. Our food took no time to come out. Portions are more than enough to take home for later if you choose. I would definitely come back to Flying Biscuit if I am ever in the area again.

Yelp
I had the Bistro Chicken Buffet, and I have some tips on how to make it better. First, the chicken itself was bland and unseasoned. Sprinkle some freshly ground black pepper and salt before cooking, and then it'll taste a lot better. The breading itself could have been crispier. Maybe the chicken wasn't adequately dried first before breading, but it tastes like it's been left to sit a while in next to some liquid. At least the Hollandaise sauce was really good.
google avatar

Michelle B.

Yelp
I have been here a number of times. The portions are typically large so I figured I'd try the mini breakfast bowl. I wouldn't pick it again honestly. It had a joke amount of egg on a large portion of grits. The bacon was nice and crispy. Glad I had the biscuit on the side. The service was good. Made sure my coffee was always full. Semi odd to get a new cup with each refill. Weekday morning s need to be the best time. On weekends it definitely fills up.
google avatar

Yelp
Update: Even better this time around. Food was awesome and fresh. Service was impeccable and the ambiance was casual and laid back. Made for a very enjoyable morning.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was ok. Wouldn't get the avocado toast. Toast was soggy and just the wrong bread really. But egg was cooked well. Chicken was a bit dry on the chicken and waffle but otherwise very good. Biscuit was good with the apple butter. Enjoyed. I would next time just get a biscuit sandwich. :)
google avatar

Yelp
This place was good. I had pancakes or medium eggs and bacon kind of like a homestyle breakfast nothing major but I appreciate how fresh it came out. It tasted very authentic and the service was good too. I'm honest it was quiet. It wasn't too noisy. I was in and out pretty quickly And well served.

Yelp
Found a cool breakfast spot! Fast and friendly service very knowledgeable about the food options our server was on it!! I ordered the Hangover Hash Delicious (my new favorite) Potatoes and eggs, chorizo and fried chicken in layers upon layers of and served with the flakiest biscuits and the freaking apple and cranberry jam which served was stooooopid good yummy , I also had a pineapple mimosa! I will be back !!

Yelp
I was looking for a breakfast spot to eat at after church and the name of the restaurant caught my attention so I figured I'd try this place since I love biscuits. For starters they have so many things to choose from. Everything sounds delicious. I decided to order the hot honey butter chicken & waffles and a chai latte. The chai latte was perfect, however I wasn't super impressed with the chicken and waffles. Whatever sauce they used (tasted like buffalo) did not pair well with the waffle and it was super strong. Although I wasnt a fan of what I ate, I thought our waitress was amazing. Her kindness and attentiveness makes me want to come back here for breakfast. She made my morning! Parking was no issue. It is located in a shopping center but there's a lot of parking!

Yelp
This place is a gem! Go early or pack your patience. I ordered the EGG-STRAVAGANZA. I ordered it with two over medium eggs, chicken sage sausage patty, two strips of crispy applewood bacon. It's served with French toast with raspberry sauce and honey crème anglaise (delish) and a biscuit. It was all delicious. The grits! They are the best ones I've had. Sooooo good!

Yelp
For my fellow breakfast lovers, this spot deserves a place on your list. I recently ordered their Stuffed French Toast Breakfast through Uber Eats, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food arrived promptly and securely packaged, which is always a plus. Let's dive into the star of the show: the French toast. If you're like me, you might worry about that dreaded undercooked, eggy taste, but let me tell you, this place has perfected its toast. Imagine two thick slices of challah bread, golden and crisp, stuffed with velvety sweet cream cheese, topped with juicy fresh strawberries, accompanied with raspberry sauce and honey crème anglaise for you to drizzle on your own. There was a dusting of powdered sugar that sadly didn't survive the journey, but honestly, it wasn't missed with all the other flavors going on. The meal also included two scrambled eggs (which I upgraded with cheddar for $1.50), two chicken sage sausage patties, a soft, buttery biscuit, and a side of fresh fruit. The biscuit was light, fluffy, and the perfect complement to the richness of the French toast. The eggs were okay, but let's be real, the French toast was the undeniable star. The fruit was fresh and provided a refreshing counterbalance to all that sweetness and carbs. Honestly, they should rename it the "You'll Be Stuffed Breakfast." I genuinely felt I got more than my money's worth. I'd be inclined to revisit and dine in. If you're in the area, give them a try hopefully the customer service is good--and if you can't make it in definitely consider ordering online. Order: Stuffed French Toast Breakfast ( $20.38 ( doesn't include delivery) French toast, scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese ($1.19 upcharge), sausage patties, fresh fruits, and a biscuit.

Yelp
Tasty food. My wife had the egg white scramble with creamed spinach and mushroom. I had two eggs with bacon and potatoes; also one buttermilk pancake. Be sure to ask for maple syrup served in a little bottle, instead of the high fructose stuff. Our table has little cups of artificial creamer, but they brought half-and-half in a glass when I asked. Coffee could be hotter. Our server was friendly. It's pretty noisy in here even when only half the tables are occupied.
google avatar

Kristin J.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this place! Service was top notch and the food was incredible. My waffle was so soft and moist and the chicken was seasoned well. It was a nice touch of the sweet mixed with a little spice. The inside is so cute! I can't wait to come back again.

Yelp
Food was very good. Tried an interesting Philly cheesesteak bowl and it was tasty and cheesy. Great murals are on the walls making it a bright fun place to eat. Service we weren't necessarily a fan of. The bus bucket cart in the middle of the dining room and our brusque server was not great.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been coming here for years but recently they changed the menu. It has shrunk significantly. Still decent and the service is very good. Too bad about the new menu. We will be searching for a new breakfast place.

Yelp
A good friend of mine was coming into town and suggested to our little friends group that we meet up here for brunch. My friend was the first to arrive at the restaurant and put his name on the waiting list for a group of five and a toddler. From the time I arrived at the restaurant to the time we got seated, I waited around 30 minutes. So overall wait was closer to 40 minutes. Obviously this restaurant is pretty popular to have that kind of wait. I personally thought that the service was pretty good: our server was on point and checked on us frequently. The foods were also pretty good and everybody seemed to enjoy their respective meals. I personally enjoyed mine and I thought the portion was pretty generous as well. Let's just say it's worth the price you pay for. Well it's brunch right? So obviously my buddy wanted some mimosa so he ordered a bottle to share and wanted to have different mixers. Unfortunately at this restaurant you can only get one flavor mixers instead of multiples like some other restaurants like Gloria's offers. Would I return here? Maybe if my friends wanted to meet here. Personally, I'm not sure I'd be willing to wait upward to 40 minutes for brunch unless the food is mind blowing good especially when there are lots of other brunch spots with shorter wait with equally pretty good food.

Yelp
Our food came out hot and fresh. We were seated as soon as we walked in. We came at the perfect time since it wasn't crowded. Dawn was our server today and she did an excellent job and was super friendlyand attentive. I ordered my normal meal the High Flyer. No complaints at all.
google avatar

Andrea H.

Yelp
Wonderful part about today is it wasn't packed. Usually this location is really busy and there is a long wait. We lucked up today. I actually tried something new today! (Yay me!) I usually get the High Flyer but today I got a grit bowl with double turkey bacon, cheddar cheese and green and red peppers. It came with a biscuit too. It was delicious! I was happy for the change too. My husband got a grit bowl as well and had egg, turkey bacon with mushrooms. (I would have taken a picture but hunger took over.) My daughter has the usual high flyer and her best friend had the hot chicken and waffle. When we rated the food, the grit bowls were a 10/10, high flyer was a 8/10 (her waffle was a little cold) and the hot chicken with the waffle was a 8/10 (too much hot sauce). Our server was attentive and not worrisome. Our food came out quickly and was gone quickly (lol). As always, the atmosphere was fun and casual. It's definitely a family restaurant. Had a great time!

Yelp
I came across this place via a message on Facebook and realized it was right around the corner from somewhere I used to work. Sadly, I never got a chance to experience it while working there because it opened after I'd relocated. There's a definite theme to this breakfast cafe. It's a nice, cutely-designed, casual spot with a menu that's full of options that will appeal to kids and adults alike. I've been looking for a place to rival a chicken biscuit sandwich at a cafe I had while traveling, and this is about as close to what I've found in town. You get a large biscuit filled (but not too big) that still takes two hands to eat. If you're coming on a weekend or holiday, make sure to arrive early, because this place gets very busy very quickly, and there can be a significant wait. Weekdays are obviously a bit easier because there's less of a crowd when people have to be at work and don't have time for a leisurely meal at a neighborhood hot spot.

Yelp
What a cute and *local* spot to grab breakfast with friends before work on a weekday. I met my highschool girlfriends and their kiddos there, and we picked The Flying Biscuit Cafe because it's actually hard to find waffles at a kid-friendly spot... that's not a chain. Yes, a lot of places offer wings and waffles, but the littles didn't want that. And The Flying Biscuit Cafe offers Texas-shaped waffles. Kiddo was happy with their Texas-shaped waffle with strawberries; my friends got a taste of grits, biscuits and gravy they've been missing since being in New Yorker; and I had the smoked salmon scramble. Overall, it's a nice local diner. The biscuits and grits were a standout for me, as well as the smoked salmon scramble. I was surprised that for a breakfast spot. they don't serve warm syrup, instead it's individual packets of Smucker's syrup.

Yelp
Terrible service, manager rude, food half done, hair in food. I will never return. The Sugarland location much better. Maybe they was having an off day but still the manager should have owned up to responsibility, and listen instead excuses. The reason why I've reported this is because back in 2020 after Covid the food was good. I use to look forward to returning but Now heck no!!!! I was just so disappointed the food and the service was bull crap. so disappointed what a waste of money but I still gave a 20% tip and they did not deserve it. I will never return.

Yelp
I was looking for a new breakfast spot for me and a friend and found The Flying Biscuit Cafe on Yelp and it was in the same area as the restaurant we normally dine at. So, we ventured out to this place on a Friday for brunch. The place was a bit crowded but we could still be seated immediately. Our waitress, Dawn was extremely friendly and delightful; it was as if we were talking with an old friend. The menu here is expansive with plenty of mouthwatering dishes to choose from. My friend ordered the stuffed French toast (I envied him once it came to our table) and I ordered the chicken and waffles. The food came out fast and it was delicious. The food portions are very generous too. Now that we've found this breakfast spot, I suppose this will be our new 'favorite' place to eat and I'm definitely coming back so I can order the stuffed French toast.

Yelp
We had to take a friend of ours to her Doctors appointment! She's 92! It's over near Memorial City Mall! So while she was as at her appointment we decided, my wife and I. To try another Flying Biscuit restaurant out! Not a good idea! We entered and were seated right away and got our drink orders out of the way while we looked at the menu! My wife ordered the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and fruit! I got the Firecracker shrimp Cesar wrap with truffle parmigiana fries! Well when it came out my fries were nice and hot and tasted real good! The wrap was well let's say if you call it Firecracker then it should have some zip or flavor not just plain cooked shrimp with Cesar sauce! My wife avocado toast was not even toasted! Limp bread and not even the bread they described! Scrambled eggs were very dry and tasteless! Salt and pepper didn't even help! So a little ketchup but couldn't eat much of it! The fruit was the only good thing! Then we got a cup of black coffee to go with one biscuit and a small bowl of fruit for our lady friend! Then the bill came! $43. ?? My wife talked to our waitress who was about to take her position as the afternoon manager about her food! Sorry about that and would tell the cooks! But no compensation towards our meal! By the way a glass of orange juice is $3.88! Having to pay for bad food and over priced bad food isn't right! We won't be coming back here! Or supporting this franchise to anyone! Just our opinion!

Yelp
The biscuit here was too good. It was soft and fluffy and everything I wanted in a biscuit. I loved the salmon scramble it was so good too. The walls were decorated nicely. The service was great. It looked busy inside. But in reality it wasn't we were seated right away. There's plenty of parking but it does fill up because of other establishments next door.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday afternoon and caught them right before they closed. It seems to be a pretty poppin spot. Lots of patrons but we were seated right away. The interior is so cute. Lots of character & charm. Pretty clean too. The cappuccinos were pretty good. Very flavorful and my son loved the pancake & biscuit. My food was just okay. The portion sizes are great for the price though, it was ALOT of food. My husband got the steak and eggs and he said it was just okay. Pros: the Flying Biscuit is a MUST try with their apple cinnamon jam & butter. Yum!! The service was fast & everything was fresh. The grits are really creamy & good, they weren't grainy or gritty. Cons: the eggs are just eggs & my bacon was slightly overcooked. May try it again because the buffalo chicken tender waffle looks fire.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday afternoon with a few friends Plenty of parking, which is a plus. There was a maybe 30 min wait but it was worth it. The food was good and fresh. I had the Hollywood omelette, which was vegetarian. It came with a biscuit and grits. Everything was yummy. I appreciate that this restaurant has a vegetarian menu so those who don't eat meat or certain animal products have a good selection to choose from as well. I also had the Bellini drink which was okay. My friend ordered the mimosa flight which she enjoyed. I may try that next time.

Yelp
Mom and I stopped here on our way to East Texas. It was easy on and easy off the Interstate in order to eat here. We didn't have any difficulty in finding this wonderful restaurant. In addition, we had a great time for our first visit to this fine establishment. Gabriella, our server, took excellent care of us. She checked on us at exactly the right times and made sure our drinks never ran dry. I had the honey chicken tenders and waffle. Delicious! My mother seemed to enjoy her food as well. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. I would definitely eat here again if and when I am ever again in the area.

Yelp
Great food and nice service. I enjoy my food every time I visit this place. I wish they would bring back the beans they used to put on this dish!
