Heathrow Airport’s Best Restaurants — Where to Eat at London Heathrow | Eater London

"One of numerous airport pubs that functions as a convenient pre-security dining and drinking spot—ideal for those wanting a last informal meal or the ceremonial, elongated farewell before flying." - Andrew Leitch

Had a great breakfast before our flight. Very friendly service and food was excellent. Recommend the Eggs Royal and the American Breakfast. The free refill coffee is a nice touch. Prices are a bit high but being at the airport its expected. Would definitely recommend.

The worst Wetherspoon’s experience. Ever. Despite the brilliant presentation in the pics, my veggie English breakfast was probably the worst breakfast I’d ever had. The fries were cold, the sausage was over cooked, cold and rock hard. Everything on the plate was rock hard and cold. It felt as though someone had previously ordered it and they gave me the cancelled order that had been sitting there for hours.

We were not expecting much for the restaurent but it was much better than we thought. You can order through the app with the food served within 15 minute. The menu was also quite clear on dietary requirement and price was reasonable.

Food is not that bad, giving one star because burger was okish and the eggs cooked perfectly. The rest was inedible. Hollandaise sauce taste like butter only, chips not cripsy at all, Pepsi was flat. I asked for normal Pepsi and waiter said it was however still served me Pepsi max.

It's a Wetherspoons, and it's an airport so gonna be dearer. That said, I really did enjoy my meat feast pizza. Can't say the same for my beer though, but I do have bit of a cold. Didn't leave anything though, so I guess that says it all.

So we stopped here to get some fine food before our flight home. We ordered two drinks and two pizzas. After a few minutes waiting they brought us an other table's order clearly mixing up something. We got an extra chips that I had to pay with a comment "you should know what you ordered" We weren't able to order without a table number also. THEY should also know what we are ordering as it is the part of their job. They charged me for the extra chips and even one extra pound for the extra cheese on it. Look how extra that cheese is! I know if im hungry next time in London I'll starve. In fairness the carbonara pizza here is unbelievably good.

It took a while between my arrival there and first beer... Understand rules (order via app or at bar downstairs...but you need table number, so go up the stairs, find the free table, leave your stuff, remember number and go down the stairs to order, while you leave luggage and laptop bag unattended... Not the way you want), so install app, internet at Heathrow is too slow, so switch to roaming after few minutes of downloading, download again via LTE, setup the app, setup payment, order, done :) in my case it was 21 minutes... Second order via app works fluently and very fast... Beer was good , pizza was great too

Google
Probably the cleanest Wetherspoons I’ve been in for a very very long time but I suspect that’s to do with it being in the airport. Usual Wetherspoons fatter available and served by above average Wetherspoons staff but - for these privileges (which I would argue should be expected standards), prices for Wetherspoon are grossly over inflated. This I also suspect is to do with it being in the airport and capitalising on a captive audience!

Yelp
They have chicken wings! My cousin's husband was super happy about that. We honestly came by chance because I have flying out back home and had extra time to kill. They have everything from drinks on tap, coffees, lattes and teas to actual food. I mean burgers, fries, chicken wings and quality service. I didn't really look around much. I was too focused on shoving my burger down before my flight. It's reasonably priced and yes, they do take any Visa card you may have. As long as your bank company doesn't flag you anyways.

Yelp
Good choice for dining in Terminal 2 at Heathrow, prior to going through security (so perfect for a final meal with the folks dropping you at the airport). One good sign of quality is the condiment selection on the table--name brands of every type you'd need, no no-name plastic dispensers or disposable packets. We ordered beef pie (piping hot with a good pastry) and a rainbow salad (multiple leafy greens and farro + bulgar but with no noticeable dressing (which I like). Nice clean atmosphere.

Yelp
Not a bad choice to grab some food. Spread across 2 levels so seating should not be a problem. Also good for breakfast which is served until 12.

Yelp
Located at the other end of terminal 2 to the Costa coffee The long bar faces out into the terminal with the seating on the other side with some found upstairs. Each booth has a power point so you can charge phones and laptops which is a real bonus Plenty of beers on tap and a nice top shelf to take away the pre flight nerves or the wait for the friends flight to land. The food on the menu is typical pub food but I was impressed with my meal but the view out window just adds something to the venue

Yelp
This is a really nice Wetherspoons which is in the new Terminal 2 at Heathrow Airport. Its set on two levels and it has a long bar at the front and one upstairs, i love the decor and the seating, Its one of the best Wetherspoons that i have been too, just a shame the Beers wasn't the same price as a normal Wetherspoons but it is in an Airport so this can be expected. The food menu looked great but we didn't eat here, they also have a little coffee lounge which is nice enough but i preferred the Costa coffee shop in the same terminal. The whole place was really quiet and lacked of any atmosphere, we only stayed here for one drink. but its a nice addition to the Airport and I'm sure ill stop by here if I'm coming through the Airport again.

Yelp
I was seeing my brother off on Friday, he's going back home to Australia (lucky bugger) and we had some time to fill, so decided to grab some food and have a beer. There isn't much to do around terminal 2, so when we saw a Wetherspoons we thought we might have been in luck We found a table watching the planes take off, and I went to the bar to order some food and drinks. I ordered a Salad with extra chicken and Eggs royal with a beer and wine. About 15mins later the waiter arrived at our table with the eggs royal only, and then proceeded to tell me they couldn't serve me the salad as it was all mixed together (I can't eat gluten so asked for it sans couscous). I told him I won't have anything then, and I'd like my money back. He said he couldn't do that, and I'd have to go to the bar. I was a little rude at this point and said just bring me the money I don't care that I paid for it on my card. He left and came back 5mins later with change for the salad only -_- So i had to then go back to the bar and ask for the money back for the chicken too. Had the guy come to me before bringing my brother his food I may have ordered something else, but to come over with the other meal was a bit silly. I guess we should have skipped wanting a beer and wine, and just settled with costa at the other end of the terminal.

Yelp
Surprised and impressed to find a restaurant this good near ticketing in Terminal 2 at Heathrow. Pick a table, then order at the counter and they will deliver your food to your table. The dining area is fairly small but seating is very contemporary. Breakfast came on a decorative plate and the fruit cup was served in a cocktail glass. Delicious food. Perfect for an early morning before a 10 hour flight home.

Yelp
I've eaten here four times so far, it's very conveniently located in Terminal 2 and there's just not much else in terms of sit-down eateries. It's a Whetherspoon, so expect mid-range pub food quality and variety. Of you're looking for high quality dining, this place isn't for you, but for an airport eatery it's great. I haven't been disappointed with any dish here yet! The food gets to the table quickly and the staff have always been really nice and helpful. In a busy airport like Heathrow, it seems like a bit of a casual oasis. It has two levels, lots of window space for plane spotting and comfortable corners to hide in and take a break from the hustle and bustle. If you have some time to waste at the airport, give it a try!

Yelp
Having collected some foreign currency for a friend, I decided to have some lunch. The Flying Chariot is one of a limited number of food and beverage outlets that are located landslide (prior to security) in Terminal Two. Food is good although service is hit and miss. Fine at the table, but poor when you need to go to the bar and order. Overall, an acceptable experience, although bar staff could learn much from their waiter colleagues.

Yelp
The service was good. Very friendly but that's where all the positives about this place end. The beans taste like they are cooked in ketchup. Ham was very much over cooked and the other components of breakfast taste Pre made from days ago. Coffee was cold. Just an awful experience. Wait until you get through the terminal.

Yelp
The food was OK for airport standards, but the service was terrible Asked several times for my table to be cleaned ; took over 30 minutes for simple breakfast to arrive; food did not arrive as ordered ; total confusion among the staff - save your appetite for a restaurant that's past the security lines

Yelp
This place seemed remarkably .. leisurely, for an airport restaurant. It's not optimized for takeaway: you need to order at the long counter bar, and the staff serve whoever catches their attention first. I waited for a takeaway coffee for twelve minutes, despite there being no other customers when I arrived. It's new so it may get better.

Yelp
Had dinner there last evening & ordered peri-peri Chicken. Only managed to eat a third of it as salad was old (tomato soft skinned and taking on 'fluffy' appearance, lettuce droopy), chicken breast had strange stringy texture, salsa old, and the rice very dehydrated to result in a very disappointing meal.
