Delicious easy going food. We ordered a vegan burger, steak sandwich, chicken wrap and mac and cheese. Everyone thought it was great. Very casual vibe to the pub. Just a bit too loud if you are wanting a dinner where you can talk 😊

This place was so fun for bottomless mimosas! They had music playing the whole time and tvs all around the bar. Our server Necati was always so quick to refresh our drinks and take our order. There were 6 of us and it went smoothly for everyone. Our food came out quick too. Overall a great time!

Came here on holiday from the UK while visiting NYC. Food was mediocre at best, fries were overcooked, nachos were cold and mostly tasteless, the cheese feels overly rubbery and processed, added buffalo chicken and it was all just piled at the bottom of the dish, it seemed like they were just thrown on a plate with no care. and the food was just overall disappointing. Service was decent and the atmosphere was good and had good vibes. The only negative point about this place really is the food, it lets them down.

Amazing place! The staff is always welcoming and friendly, the food is great, and the music is consistently fun. We stumbled upon this spot when we first moved to NYC and haven’t stopped coming back since. Carlos is an incredible bartender who truly cares about his customers and makes a real effort to connect with everyone. Highly recommend!

I had a great time here for dinner with friends! It was easy to get a reservation for a large group, but I definitely recommend reserving because they were pretty busy when we came on a Wednesday. The spritz flight ($24) for their summer happy hour is a great deal, 3 full-sized drinks! They also have rotating daily drink specials like martinis, picklebacks, etc. We had oysters and the bar tower. I loved the fish tacos (perfectly crispy!), but the cauliflower and fries were average. Our server was sweet and everything came out quickly. It's somewhat loud, but I didn't have a problem hearing everyone at my table.

I rlly like it. The people r ooooooh so nice. The candles add a sense of romantic atmosphere that is simply unmatched. As soon as I walk in, the aroma of fresh beer and food is indistinguishable. The atmosphere is palpable. They say the weekend doesn’t begin until you enter the Flying Cock, and I can definitely speak to the validity of that statement. As for the seating, it is incredibly cozy. To sit here with my friends is a delight like no other. The social atmosphere is perfectly curated for intimate yet extroverted conversation.

Lovely little pub. I popped up in after a bad experience at a Union Square steak house ((USC). The bill was a third of what said cafe charged and the food was great. A simple steak baguettes, salad and fries. The atmosphere was lovely and friendly. Staff very attentive for a solo diner. Bus stop outside which was why I was local. Decided to go in after reading the menu. I don’t drink alcohol. I went back a couple of days later. Definitely will be a regular. I met a fabulous lady who will be a new friend.

This spot has amazing energy for brunch, a casual dinner, or some drinks with friends. I had the Brunch Burger, which was super flavorful and juicy. All the toppings went super well together. and tried the Chest Rockwell cocktail which was super sweet and came with a lollipop as well for a fun touch. You should definitely stop by this restaurant if you’re in midtown. Great staff, upbeat atmosphere, and some really cool events as well.

The service was great, the server was knowledgeable and attentive. The restaurant is small and they were having a private event so we had to eat and be done by the time the other event started. That was annoying considering we made a reservation. The food was delicious. We ordered a standard cheeseburger and the famous crispy chicken sandwich. Both were juicy. The sandwiches came with well cooked fries. My dinner companion didn't drink, but I had the party hard. It was refreshing. Will definitely be back.

Came for a happy hour over the summer and had a great time. The happy hour deals are quite good - we kept ordering old fashioneds up until happy hour ran out and our server was also nice enough to let my friends order for me before I arrived because I was running late. We had a couple apps too which were good - the wings were probably the best option we had. Had a great time and would absolutely return!

So first off I thought the name itself was hilarious! But I had to cover an event at this venue.. So I figured I'd check out their menu.. I saw they have Pat LeFrida Burgers. Right up my alley! Can't go wrong right!? In case you didn't know, I love a great burger.. So I ordered it.. And it definitely did not disappoint. I ordered my Cheeseburger with an over easy egg... It was a double smash.. OMG! It was soooo delicious and flavorful! Seriously.. They know how to season and cook their Burgers! The egg was perfect. I can't do sunny side up.. But over easy worked out sooooo good.. It adds some more juice and flavor to it.. It was one of the best burgers I've had lately! Fries were good too.. Maybe a bit more crispiness would've worked, but they were good enough. I was working, so I can't really comment on the service as they were busy running around to their customers.. As far as ambiance, the front portion of the venue was playing music from The house iPod.. While the folks in the back where I was spinning a separate music vibe, was definitely having a great time so much so that people from the front were requesting my music up front there.. So to sum it up, I enjoyed the burger so much that I'll definitely be back.. Whether I'll be spinning great music there, I don't think so. But nonetheless it's a great spot for a burger and I'm sure they have more to offer.. If you're looking for a Great, flavorful burger.. this is a goto spot. You won't be disappointed. Reserved here for a birthday of 10 people on Resy. Space was a bit tight but it was doable. A couple of us did the bottomless brunch for an additional $27. Drinks were a bit watered down and they did not leave a pitcher for us at the table. Waiters were hard to flag down but they did let us take 2 drinks at a time. I ordered the avocado toast with egg - pricey for brunch but the avocado toast was nothing to write home about (4/5). Friends also got eggs Benedict (they said 4/5) and also the kale salad which were just kale noodles. Good for a big party but not sure if I would come here to dine with a smaller group.

Came here for bunch with a group of friends. This is one of those place I've walked by many times and it was always bumping. All of the tables were high tables with high chairs, but we were able to request one that was normal table and chair, but was tucked in the back corner. Fine by me as I hated sitting in high chairs. I got the Banana Chocolate Chip Pancakes ($17), which was the first item under their specials section. Pretty solid choice and they give you 4 stacks. I did find myself needing a lot of maple syrup, otherwise it just tastes like dough. A also got a Cold Brew Coffee ($6), which is great by itself. Overall, it was a good time. My friends enjoyed their food a lot. They seemed like better choices than mine and they looked delicious.

Such a cute spot duri bf Christmas and a classic for sports watching! We went when we had a Sunday funday of watching football and split bottle of rose from the happy hour and some fries :) the waiters are pretty friendly although we popped over to another classic Blue Haven after where we met John the bartender who is an icon

Decent brunch. I had the chilaquiles which was a special item and the cold brew was pretty good. My sister got the kale bowl and she didn't like it at all - it was honestly just like 4 cups of kale with 2 eggs. She had it swapped out for avocado toast which was also not good. Not sure if we'd return in the future but they do have a good bottomless drink deal if you're interested in that. The service was very nice and fast!

I came here on a Saturday for brunch and the place was packed and it had a nice vibe going. My friends and I went with the bottomless brunch which was $27 when you buy a brunch entree. What I love was that the bottomless not only included mimosas but Aperol spritz which I'm a huge fan of. The spritz were very tasty yet strong enough. As far as my entree I went with the brunch nachos with buffalo chicken. The nachos were delicious and a very generous portion for one. I really enjoyed our brunch and will definitely be coming back.

Cool brunch spot with a sweet bottomless deal at $27. Came here on a Sunday for brunch at 1pm and it was packed. Great to see places like this to be thriving during these times. Our party of four ordered various entrees and I personally got the brunch burger at $22. Loved my burger it came with a egg, bacon, cheese, and a thick pat LA Frieda patty. Fries were also super crispy and moist. Overall was super filling. My friends also got a decent spread and seemed to enjoy their meal. Cold brew was a nice touch and their mimosas were certainly well made. Will consider coming back soon!

Amazing Happy Hour 4-8pm daily! I highly recommend coming with a group and sharing some drinks and food. You can get any 3 appetizers for $40 and the quality was also amazing. I loved the beef sliders, szechuan lettuce wraps, and cauliflower bites. Drinks were $18 for the flight, and the 3 flavors are strawberry, pineapple, and mint. Couldn't recommend this place more, I can imagine that this is also a great spot for sport games!

I went to The Flying Cock mainly to try their Spritz Flight and to experience their patio. The service was quick and incredibly friendly and the patio was nice with a good amount of space between each table. The flight itself was quite good but I don't know if I would say it was $21 good. The flavors really came through and it WAS refreshing, but at $7 a glass, I was expecting a bit more. In addition, I ordered the chicken sandwich which was good but the bread was a bit thick. The chicken itself had a really good crunch and good flavor, but in addition was a bit on the more expensive side. Overall, I would say The Flying Cock was a good choice to go if you're in the mood for a fun flight, but definitely be weary of the prices!

Great happy house and great service. The outside of this spot feels bigger but when you enter, you realize it's not too big. The name of the spot originally is what made me interested in this place. They have A pretty good HH selection where espresso martinis are available and if you come on a Monday, HH is all night. Food is typical bar food but also pretty decent. My friend and i shared the wings which were surprisingly pretty good. I also got the nachos so can't complain. Overall, i'd def add this into my list of HH spots worth returning to.

Loved it here. After going, we talked to someone who lives locally and they suggested this place. We got lucky and got to sit outside with no wait. Come on with the bottomless mimosas for $25. Yumm. Our server, Daniella was amazing. She stayed on top of our drinks and if we needed anything. I ordered the brunch burger and it did not disappoint. It was delicious and hit the spot.

Went during a weekend happy hour and tried the mule flight and a couple of burgers! The burgers were pretty good - juicy, flavorful, and filling. The mule flight was also good for the price and fairly strong. Overall it was a fun time!!

The Flying Cock was a decent place. They have Happy Hours 7 days a week from 4-8pm. We ordered the tower with 3 items, Korean style wings, spring rolls and the bar nachos. The presentation was really nice and they gave us these tiny saucers. The quality of the food was typical bar food. For our cocktail we ordered the spicy margarita which wasn't bad. The young lady behind the bar was doing too much. Making drinks and using her bare hands to put ice in the cup plus she was taking payments and putting the food orders in. She had a scooper for the ice but she was still using her bare hands along with the scooper. I am glad I didn't see that until I was ready to leave. They had nice music playing in the background and everyone seems like they were having a good time. Would I come back? It's questionable

The food was so good and filling. I went during st. patricks day weekend, and the vibes were great. Didn't need to drink to have a good time! Would recommend as a brunch spot

The Flying Cock is an exceptional east side establishment! This place has a wonderful upscale bar vibe with a warm friendly ambiance. The staff were phenomenal and all of the food and drinks are delicious! Don't sleep on the happy hour deals either! The Cocky Mule Flight and bar shares were incredible, and the nachos were massive. I also loved the spicy tuna tartare tacos and the French dip smash burger! This should be on everyone's go to list of spots to go!

Basic bar in the city. Music in the background. Lot of people. Private section in the back for private events. They serve bar food and drinks. If you like bars, try this one out. It is SO loud in here that I had to yell at my friends over the table the entire time we were in here. We came for bottomless brunch and I think they did do a good job of keeping the carafe during the 90 minute duration of bottomless.

the staff here is absolutely OUTSTANDING. I had a delightful drink and surprise birthday shot thanks to Manager Aoife and Bartender Reed. Special shoutout to the servers Jason and Ariana who made my dining experience seamless and fantastic. Additionally, the bartender/interim manager Carlos is a delight should you ever get the chance to order from him at the back bar. and lastly, the lovely bartender Vanessa made my visit absolutely wonderful and she let me queue my favorite songs. Overall, CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH!!!!

Happy hour deal with the oysters is one of the best in the city, can't beat it. Quick service even when the restaurant is busy. Drinks were great too. But be prepared for pretty close seating, can get a little loud at times

This is a solid bar. They had some fall/Halloween decorations up which were cute. Food and drink selection is pretty substantial especially for happy hour. The side of fries exceeded expectations which is unusual for fries. They were crispy and well-seasoned. The Korean style wings were a little disappointing (not enough sauce). The buffalo wings were better. The drinks were really good, but beware of the punch in the face shot (extremely spicy).

The steak sandwich was good but not phenomenal. Nothing to rave about but good. This establishment has a good amount of seating and is great for large parties too. We originally wanted to get brunch because it was a holiday, but it turns out that it excludes MLK day. Service was typical. Beware that for parties 5 or greater, an automatic gratuity is added to the check. I ordered the standard burger and replaced the fries with sweet potato fries and got the bang bang cauliflower. The burger was slightly dry, but nothing I couldn't eat. The portion was generous, and the sweet potato fries were quite good - crispy outside texture and pretty long too. The cauliflower was really tasty, but it was a little soggier than I would've liked.

Had a great time there this summer, too bad they're losing their outdoor space. Maybe they'll work something out

One of the best happy hour spots in NYC! We stopped by for some drinks and dinner and we really enjoyed everything. The Bar Share Tower was delicious and came with three choices of bar shares. We got the Korean Style Wings, Spicy Tuna Tartare Tacos, and the Nachos. My favorite were the tacos and all of the main dishes were incredible. The Proper Fish and Chips were crispy on the outside and the Bacon Mac & Cheese was super cheesy and the Steak Frites were super flavorful.

Smash burger tacos are delicious! 3 mules for $18 or $8 margaritas can't go wrong! Friendly service. Super aid back.

I've been here twice. Once for dinner which was pretty good. I had the Mac n cheese. Went here today for brunch. You definitely need a reservation as the place was packed. It was mainly filled with people in their 20s. We didn't do bottomless. The Bellinis were strong and tasty. I got the skinny grilled cheese minus the egg. The sandwich was huge and it was a lot of fries. I couldn't eat it all. It was very salty and left me craving water all day. My date got the banana chocolate pancakes. They were a bit rubbery and lacked flavor. But there were 5 big pancakes. The music selection was great for me. All late 90s/early 2000s.

Had a great time hosting a birthday here! We had ~15 people and the manager Aoife was so helpful getting everything set up and our waitress Terresa couldn't have been nicer - we loved her! Great selection of food & music is fun too!

Cool place in Murray hill. They have good and fun drinks and the food is good. I tried the wings tuna tacos and crab beignets they are were good. Cute quaint ambience. The service was friendly too.

Came in for a quick drink and a snack with my sister. She ordered the A Disney Princess, which was absolutely delicious, and I got the You So Cocky. It had the potential to be a great drink but it just wasn't made right. It comes with edible gold glitter, and it kind of seemed like whoever made it dumped half the bottle in it. Every sip I took tasted grainy cus I was choking on the glitter. It got absolutely everywhere, would definitely suggest putting less. Way less. If your looking for something to snack on, highly suggest the Bang Bang Cauliflower. I could have eaten two plates of this myself. Fried to absolute perfection. Crunchy on the outside, cooked all the way through without being mushy on the inside. The sauce on them, sweet-spicy chili sauce, should be bottled and sold. I could have had that with a spoon. Spicy, tangy with a little sweetness. So amazing!

Best brunch spot in America!!! Ariana is the goat, make sure to get the bottomless spritz highly recommend!

The service here is great, even when it's busy. They have a lot of tvs so it's great for sports and the drinks are made well. We didn't eat the food but it smelt good!

The most expensive WORST salad I have ever had! $33 for shredded lettuce and chicken that was so small. I'm NEVER going back there again! The waitress gave me a separate check when I was with my husband. So ridiculous!!!

Came here to enjoy HH and the nice weather. On Tuesday's they have $6 aperol spritzes and 3 of their bar bites for $40 on top of their regular HH deals. I got the mule flight, 3 different Moscow mules for $18 which ends up being $6 for a full drink. The drinks were surprisingly strong so didn't need to get anything else. Also got the 3 for $40 bar bites which, again, exceeded our expectations. Will be coming back here to try their bottomless brunch!

Great for a girls night bar run -- great music with a live DJ though it was super loud, fast service, and the food was pretty good too. I enjoyed my fish and chips platter -- not salty, soggy, or too little.

I booked the Flying Cock for a retirement party and it's the perfect place for any kind of party. We had 50 people and there was plenty of room. We had the back room that had a private bar/bartender which made it super easy and convenient. The food was great and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The entire staff was amazing, and we will definitely be having more functions there.

This place was delicious with great food and drinks. We tried a lot of the appetizers and drinks and they were so good. Can't wait to go again with some more friends and family. Not to mention the service was overall pretty friendly and the ambiance seemed like a pretty busy place and I assume it's even more busier during happy hour.

With a name like the Flying Cock I was praying the fried chicken sandwich would blow me away and I'd find my new go-to pub in Kips Bay/Murray Hill. It's a great spot for drinks before a night out or a place to watch a game. The beers on tap rotate by the season which I love. Nothing was bad, but in NYC there's so much great food to compare this to that it's hard to rank this too high even with friendly staff. I still find myself coming back again and again though!

Everyone did bottomless and the waitress would bring carafes quickly once she saw we were running low. The entrees were very generous! Mostly everyone had the chicken and waffles and I got the skinny grilled cheese, the sandwiches are huge and also came with fries. Bottomless drinks were $27 on top of an entree so this place is definitely a good deal!

Pretty cool spot that my buddy invited me to as he's a big soccer fan and I believe this is considered a soccer bar. It was a nice day so we decided to sit outside on their patio area. We had a very nice server that took pretty good care of us. We ordered about 4 rounds of Glenlivet scotch which got us pretty damned buzzed. I would love to try some food next time I am here.

Came here on a Friday night with my boyfriend. We made same day reservations through Yelp and were seated right away upon arrival. The atmosphere was fun and loud and our waiter was very nice and attentive. We ordered a couple drinks each since they had some fun cocktails on their menu. The first round we had looked small in their cups but they were strong and tasted pretty refreshing! We ended up ordering the sweet potato poutine appetizer and their burgers. The sweet potato poutine and my burger with onion rings was delicious and I had no complaints taste wise. Since it was just basic bar grub, $20 for a plain cheeseburger seemed overpriced. We loved our experience here but would definitely prefer to spend that much on a nicer meal.

It's back open! - really attentive staff - Wycliff champagne - cheap, but delicious - unlimited mimosas/bellinis for 90 minutes is generous for $27 - really good breakfast burrito - really good fries; crispy - delicious nachos - +$5 upgrade for chili wasn't much Overall, they're back and this place is going to be busy. Great food/drinks and vibes. Not many low top tables.

The service was friendly and great. The food was just okay. We tried the watermelon salad which was new to the menu. I think it needs some tweaks. It had too much dressing and a splash of balsamic on top would have made this salad AMAZING.
