Went for lunch and ordered the Prytania fried chicken Benedict and BBQ pulled pork sandwich. The food was pretty good, but took about 40 minutes to come out and fries were cold. They did bring out another large order of fries when they were informed of the temperature. Service was okay, but not great.

Ordered fried chicken with collards and mac & cheese. The collards were delicious and have a nice kick. The mac & cheese was also good with the pimento cheese twist, but was served at room temp/cool. My wife's BLT was delicious and fresh. The 4 stars instead of 5 are due to 1 piece of raw chicken and two pieces that had either been refried from earlier or fried in old grease. The piece of raw was replaced with a new piece and the ticket was comped 10% off. Overall a nice experience so I'll give it another try.

Fried chicken Benedict on a biscuit with creole sauce? OMG fueled up for the whole day. Very delicious and friendly service. Also tried the pulled pork bene. Equally as good.

Friendly staff, collard greens were hands down the best I have ever eaten. Pimento mac and cheese was amazing too! I also had the fried green tomatoes with shrimp remoulade, very tasty. I gave 4 star because cornbread was average, served room temperature and not soft and moist like I prefer it. But I will say they gladly replaced it with a very warm soft biscuit. I will be going back.

Delicious food and terrific cocktails (the burger was incredible). Excellent service, too--couldn't recommend this spot any more.

I've eaten here twice now, in the hopes that the first time was just a fluke. But sadly, this place just IS NOT GOOD. All the food is bland, and nothing tastes homemade. The fries are soggy with zero seasoning, the corn bread was so dry it hurt, the bread used for the sandwiches was basic store bought white bread, the black beans and rice have zero flavor, and the "famous" fried chicken was under-cooked (pink in the middle!), soggy, and bland at best. For the prices they are asking, this should have been WAY better. I'm so disappointed in this place because I love eating local and had such high hopes for this place. But it's just TERRIBLE.

Wow, the highlight here is the generous portions. Ordered the fried chicken which came with 3 pieces of fried chicken, two sides, and a bread option. I chose the collard greens, baked sweet potato (which by the way is an ENTIRE large sweet potato), and biscuit. Comforting and pretty good eats.

The Prytania, the Cochon de Lait, and the new pulled pork sandwich are my favorites! The pulled pork is juicy and full of flavor. The cream cheese stuffed French toast with fresh fruit compote is great if you want something sweet! I like their unique take on shrimp & grits. They are low country style, more soupy, and they give you a generous portion. Their collard greens are sooo delicious! Brunch all day is my jam and they serve it until 9 PM! You can also get a half glass of wine, and half price beers and cocktails during the 4-7 PM happy hour on weekdays!
