The Fool Speakeasy

Really cool cocktail bar. Great concept. I’ve been here twice. The tarot card experience is very fun for everyone. If u don’t go with the cards, all the cocktails we ordered were very delicious. Tonight we ordered food and everything was fantastic, and it all paired well with our drinks thanks to the staff. Overall The Fool is a great hidden gem speakeasy-style bar.

One of the best bars I’ve been to anywhere in the world. The amount of care and skill in each drink is incredible, and the food is great as well. Not cheap, but well worth it. Cool vibe and friendly service were the cherry on top. The Moon (very tangy cosmopolitan with smoke bubble) and the passionfruit espresso martini (served in a chocolate cup) were probably the highlights. The Mekhong cocktail was great if you want something punchier. The pandan spritz was very refreshing, but I would have liked more pandan flavour.

I had a really great experience here. The vibe and environment are fantastic. The space feels intimate and stylish without being pretentious. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole night feel relaxed and enjoyable. The DJ also did a great job keeping the energy up with an upbeat set that fit the atmosphere perfectly. On top of that, the guest bartenders were fantastic. The drinks were beautifully crafted, creative, and clearly made by people who take pride in their work. My only observation, and it’s a pretty big one, is the size of the ice blocks used in the drinks. The ice takes up what feels like over 80% of the glass, leaving you with a very small amount of actual drink, maybe about a shot’s worth. Considering the drinks are not cheap, it ends up feeling like you’re getting much less than expected, even though the cocktails themselves are excellent. I’m adding a photo of the ice block after finishing my drink so you can see just how much space it takes up and better judge how much liquid you actually get. Overall, I loved the atmosphere, the staff, and the quality of the drinks, I just wish the portion matched the price a bit better.

Had an absolutely great time at The Fool Speakeasy! This was the first bar that I visited on my trip to Phuket and it definitely did not dissapoint and set the bar real high! No wonder it's ranked as the top bar in Phuket and even the top 20 in Thailand! Started off the night by letting destiny decide the first drink as we chose our cards which corresponded to the particular drink, all of which were playing cards themed. I've had the "Death" first, which was a really easy to drink and smooth Gin based Cocktail. Followed by the "Heirophant" which is a Rum and Coffee based cocktail, of which this is my favourite! A must order for any coffee lovers! ☕ Then lastly, I had the "Justice", which was a old-fashioned blended well with black tea and orange bitters. A real strong end to the night. 💪🏻🥃 All of the bartenders and staff were real friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend The Fool Speakeasy as a must visit bar to anyone that comes to Phuket! 🃏🍸🍹🥃

I really enjoyed this speakeasy and the interactive part with the tarot cards is so fun! The staff are all very nice and friendly. We were served by the bartender who goes by Men and we had such a nice conversation were he even recommended other places around the area to try. We enjoyed all the drinks we had so much that we decided to come back the next day and he even remembered us and asked how our cooking class went that we told him we were going to! 😂 Definitely recommend stopping by this place. My favorite drink was the “Judgement”.

It’s wonderful! I love it. Thank you to bartenders vi and Mint for the great drinks. We really enjoyed them. The food was okay, though it could be improved slightly.

❗️Not welcoming vibe from the staff ❗️ We were a medium group of friends celebrating our birthday there. We had a great time with the Chinese staff named Mandy. Her service is amazing. BUT, when we asked for the bill from a Russian lady downstairs, they brought us the total bill without asking if we want to pay separately. So we then divide our drink cost by ourselves and add 7% tax in all of our drink. Then the Russian staff come and complained that we don’t tell them to separate after we already paid separately and she gave a very rude attitude. At the end, we had to wait for them to print a separate bill for each of us which the number is exactly what we have calculated and paid to them. Just the same math. In this situation, I think you can handle more friendly to customer (that Russian lady)
