The Fool Speakeasy

Had an absolutely great time at The Fool Speakeasy! This was the first bar that I visited on my trip to Phuket and it definitely did not dissapoint and set the bar real high! No wonder it's ranked as the top bar in Phuket and even the top 20 in Thailand! Started off the night by letting destiny decide the first drink as we chose our cards which corresponded to the particular drink, all of which were playing cards themed. I've had the "Death" first, which was a really easy to drink and smooth Gin based Cocktail. Followed by the "Heirophant" which is a Rum and Coffee based cocktail, of which this is my favourite! A must order for any coffee lovers! ☕ Then lastly, I had the "Justice", which was a old-fashioned blended well with black tea and orange bitters. A real strong end to the night. 💪🏻🥃 All of the bartenders and staff were real friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend The Fool Speakeasy as a must visit bar to anyone that comes to Phuket! 🃏🍸🍹🥃

Went to The Fool Speakeasy Bar — it was great! The staff were super nice, cocktails were excellent, and I loved the cozy atmosphere and interior. I really enjoyed the tarot card concept — you can randomly pick a card. I tried five different cocktails — Death was so good I had it twice. Also loved your gin selection, especially the Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin! I work in Bangkok, and I’ve already started recommending my customers — if they’re heading to Phuket, they should definitely stop by The Fool Speakeasy Bar. Truly incredible!

Of course, I love this place, there’s nothing but a bunch of JoJo references here. Love the atmosphere. Love the staff. Very knowledgeable very friendly. I enjoyed watching them making the cocktails. I chose the path of picking a card and letting destiny pick my drink. I recommend that for everybody to do. I wish a place like this existed in Los Angeles. It’s definitely a vibe. It is small or intimate I should say. So you don’t have to worry about it being very loud or packed with a bunch of people. It’s a little bit isolated from the main drag, but that’s absolutely fine. I wish I knew the bartender who served me, but he is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend him to make your cocktails (no offense to the other guys who were there. I’m sure you guys are all great 😊). I cannot recommend this place hardly enough. This is a must visit.

It was such a surprisingly wonderful and joyful evening. I loved every drink I had, especially The Star. I also really enjoyed the bartender’s special creation. Now I really want to try a different version of Judgement next time. Anyway, even though I didn’t say much, the whole night left a deep impression on me. The only regret is that I forgot to ask for everyone’s names- really hope we can recognize each other next time.

I felt compelled to leave a review. Not only were the drinks so creative, the concept to use tarot cards to help decide your drink was an interesting one. And the food was a surprise hit! My friends and I came for the drinks but the food blew us away. We had the calamari, pork buns, and the duck. Just wow

We’ve been to this bar a few times already, and every time it’s amazing.🔥🔥🔥🔥 The last time we were here, we celebrated New Year’s Eve with this incredible team — and honestly, it was unforgettable 🔥🔥🔥 Great music, excellent cocktails, attentive service, and very welcoming bartenders. Most importantly — it was so much fun that we really didn’t want to leave. And a special thank you for the soup at the end of the party — that was the perfect finishing touch ❤️

I celebrated my birthday at The Fool Speakeasy this extraordinary cocktail bar with my partner and close friends. What makes this place truly special is its unique concept—Tarot cards! The bar designs original cocktails inspired by the meanings behind different Tarot cards. I ordered my drink by randomly picking a card, and the staff shared an interpretation based on the chosen Tarot. It was such a fun, fascinating, and memorable experience—definitely something different and amazing! The atmosphere was warm, stylish, and thoughtfully decorated, with perfect lighting that set the mood. Every detail inside the bar felt harmonious. The staff were really friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. The food was also delicious. I highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a creative and new cocktail experience in Phuket. It’s a great spot to enjoy imaginative drinks in a cozy, unique setting. I promise I’ll be back many times—I haven’t tried every Tarot card cocktail yet! See you again soon!
