I have stayed at the Fort Sutter regularly over the last year and this is by far my favorite hotel. The staff is incredible, from Nailah, Sosa and Allison to the bar and Cafe Bernardo staff. The rooms are always comfortable and clean. I have trouble sleeping in hotels but love these rooms and the comfortable beds. There is ample storage for clothes (drawers, pull-outs and of course the standard bar with hangers). The bathrooms are gorgeous with space to put my toiletries. The decor and vibe in the lobby and bar is so cute - trendy but welcoming with a great cocktail menu. I love the fact that you can order food from Cafe Bernardo at the Four Palms to enjoy with your drinks. And the service is always top-notch. ||Location is also great, close to yummy restaurants (Paragary's, Hidden Dumpling House) and tons of coffee shops (Temple is worth the 15-min. or so walk). ||The fitness center is cute and has the essentials.||While I love this hotel, the staff is truly what makes this place special- they are kind, welcoming, incredibly helpful, and make you feel SEEN. It is so clear that customer experience is centered here at the hotel. They always go out of their way to help me with anything I need and are quick to trouble shoot. They're also fun to chat with and have such a welcoming presence.||This is a great hotel for someone traveling for business or for a fun getaway. This will continue to be my resting place whenever I'm in Sacramento.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Fort Sutter Hotel! As frequent Hilton guests, we were pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful upgrade, which made our visit feel extra special. Outstanding customer service! The lobby is modern, stylish, and sets the tone right away—it’s clear this hotel has a trendy, welcoming vibe. The location couldn’t be better - quiet but still had a lot of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. We also loved having a fantastic breakfast spot (Cafe Bernardo) attached to the hotel, which made mornings super easy and delicious. My one small wish would be that they would offer valet parking-it would had made the experience even more seamless! Overall, the service, atmosphere, and convenience exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be returning on our next trip!

We had a great stay at the Fort Sutter Hotel. The rooms were clean, quiet, nicely air-conditioned, and the beds were comfortable. The only minor downside would be the bath products- they had some pretty unusual and strong scents that may be off-putting (for example, rum-scented soap, and cilantro shampoo, if I recall?). So maybe bring your own products if this is something that matters to you. Otherwise, the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, and did a wonderful job of honoring my request for connecting rooms on a specific floor. Breakfast was great with a variety of options, and the late-night bar snacks were very good too. The location is very walkable. Of note, we did not park at the hotel so we can't comment on the options available.

This is a well appointed value hotel in mid-town town Sacramento. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and truly the jewels of this organization.||The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable (great night’s sleep), and the cozy bar is the perfect place to relax and make new friends. The restaurant provides a “West Coast feel” and the menu offerings provides something for everyone.||We travelled for business and my only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer.

There is no other hotel to stay at that can even come close to the hospitality and the kindness every employee at this establishment shows and expresses! I’ve stayed here for three months now during the weekdays for work and everyone from the bartenders to the front desk workers to the cleaning lady’s are the best always smiling always happy everything about this place makes my life better! It’s my second home they go above and beyond to accommodate any request I have ever made! The location is also perfect so many good restaurants bars and live music venues within walking distance. If coming to Sacramento this should be your first and only choice of place to stay!

My sister and I stayed for 4 days, and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel. We chose it for its convenient location near historic homes, but what really made the difference was the staff.||Nailah at the front desk was kind and thoughtful, giving us a quiet room overlooking the Capitol. Tanya was absolutely wonderful — her wise and caring advice truly saved us and made our trip so much smoother. Julian and Allison at the front desk were always welcoming, and Sierra, the restaurant manager, along with Shilah, Brandon, and Nick, made dining there a joy.||Thanks to this amazing team, our stay was not only comfortable but also memorable. We’ll definitely be back and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.|Aaa a

We had a great experience at the Fort Sutter Hotel. The room was very clean and new. The hotel is only a few years old so everything is in great condition. The bed was very comfortable and staff was nice. It’s also in a safe area. You do have to pay for parking next door but it wasn’t too expensive. We would recommend!

We arrived on Saturday evening for a 30th Birthday and as we approached to unload and my wife is using a wheel chair we met your manager Juvae. He was absolutely the very best first impression of your hotel. He very graciously assisted me and showed me where to park after unloading our wheelchair and wife. Touching bases with Juvae he was as professional but with a wonderful what can I do to help attitude. Although we were there for a party in your lounge, when we were leaving again Juvae thanked us and invited us back and mentioned that if we ever want to spend a night or weekend at the hotel to please let him know how he could assist us in the future and gave us business card for future assistance. What a wonderful experience and it all started and ended with Juvae. The party we attended was awesome as well, but Juvae was definitely the frosting on the cake. A personal Thank You from us to Juvae for making us feel so special. Murray and Kathy Shane
