An open-air corridor of ever-evolving murals by North Texas artists, free to wander. Cited by local outlets and noted by national press via the district’s redevelopment coverage, this alley captures Fort Worth’s contemporary creative energy.

Foundry district describes an area in an old industrial nexus of Fort Worth, not one place as best as I can tell. Filling with small breweries, eateries and other businesses, but it has a way to go. Maple Branch is my fav brew house with excellent Pizza but there are many other worthy bars and eateries. If you like Wine I’d recommend Salute Wine Bar. A vintage record shop. Did I mention whiskey? There are also two spas, and you can even get your foreign car repaired at any one of perhaps 8 different businesses. Like I said - The Foundry District is in transition. Youthful vibe with grocery and box stores and plenty of housing options in the mix.

I dig it. The idea of displaying some public art is a wonderful thing. You're going to find some murals on the walls of inspiration alley and also on the back of a building for Craftwork Coffee. I just loaded about 20 pics. Very cool spot to gets some pictures taken...bring your friends and family or whoever. I found myself smiling... probably just to know this spot is here.

It's like shrinking down and stepping into an art gallery filled with the 'who's who' of this City's art scene, so it's fitting they just added a mural inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Awesome mom and pop retail, great outdoor event space, and plenty of exciting things on the horizon (art house theater, distillery). Come for the photo ops and stay for the vintage record store, awesome burgers, hyper local boutiques, etc.

Been here before. This time it was harder to get to inspiration alley because there was construction but love the murals

I came here to do a photoshoot for my daughter's birthday. We came on a Thursday at 7 pm which it was perfect because it was empty and we had the whole space to ourselve for the shoot. If you are looking for an art type of place to shoot this is it. We really enjoyed it.

Yelp
Who doesn't love a local art district? I know I do! I stumbled across Foundry District one Thursday afternoon - comprised of random, yet meaningful, pieces painted on old buildings, houses and businesses. This district brings life and empowerment to what some may consider an abandoned neighborhood. Some of the art works of done by local artists and some of the pieces are apart of a #28Mantra exhibit. The mantras are not in order or located in one area gifting you the experience to explore the neighborhood finding them all while stumbling across some local businesses!
