The Fountain Detroit

You come to this place for the central location and atmosphere. The food is nothing worth nothing and depending on if you're lucky it's either self serve our served. I happened to go when no one was running the floor, so I had to order at the bar. They give you a buzzer, but you don't get a tray so if you order a decent amount of food you may be making multiple trips. They had some creative sliders, but everything served was about the same quality as if I went to Cheddar's. I don't know how the cocktails are, but if I were to go again I'd make sure to eat else where first. There is another great slider place in town about a 2-miles away from here if you're looking for quality sliders.

Such a nice place to sit and have lunch. Listen to live music. Meet new and interesting people. And The Sailors Monument is awesome and memorials around Campus Martius Park are just beautiful. You got to see it in person to feel the real artistic beauty of it.

Emily was the best bartender to our group before the tigers game. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and had a good time. Thank you Emily!!

Beautiful place to feel the incredible energy of Detroit and it’s people! Spending a warm summer evening around this place is food for the soul. Smiles and laughter and togetherness is all around here!

I almost paid an extra 20% tip, and I may have paid double tips in my previous dining experiences. We were a group of 4 people when I received the bill. I noticed that the total amount seemed too high and upon checking, I realized that a 20% tip had been added to my bill without my consent or prior notification. I would appreciate it if such practices were avoided in the future.
