"While you’re at it over by TD Garden, head to the Fours. It’s another of the area’s great sports bars. It’s more of a Bruins joint (it’s named for Bobby Orr’s number, after all), but they’ll be showing the college hoops." - Terrence Doyle

"Don’t wear any team hats from New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, Philadelphia, Chicago...eh, you get the point. The Fours is a townie sports bar on Canal Street near TD Garden, and its patrons love their Boston sports teams. The televisions will be playing the Winter Olympics — though hockey will probably dominate the screens." - Terrence Doyle

Well....that was fun! My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to have some Irish coffee, it was so cold! We found this place just walking by and what a great discovery. We didn't know when we walked in but apparently the place is quite famous to watch games and have some drinks with friends. They have merchant from players covering the walls. It was slow when we came in but just one hour later the place was packed! The servers were nice and welcoming, despite it is primarily a very straight dude crowd 😀. They were super respectful and we appreciate it. We will be back once we return to Boston (pics taken with Pixel 3 xl)

Overall a terrible experience where I went during the Stanley Cup Finals, and it was a madhouse there. I get that they were super busy, but that's no excuse for our waiter to not check in with us to see how the things were going. Maybe because we were a party of two, the waiter didn't care for a small group. Our drinks were empty, and when we asked him for more drinks, he said that he'd grab it for us and of course, that never happened. The only thing the waiter got correct was the order other than that our waiter was awful. The food was excellent; it's just too bad that a terrible waiter ruined the overall experience there. I'm willing to give them one more chance, let's hope my next time there I'll have a better experience.

The shrimp and scallops Diane was amazing but the drinks were watered down and lame. If you come here I would enjoy the food and beer. Stay away from the cocktails. Also, the place was super dead on a Saturday night. If you are looking for a chill laid back sports bar then this is your place.

Located right outside the Garden on Canal St, The Fours is a franchised local Boston sports bar. They have a nice apps menu, there were several things I could have eaten if I were coming here for a meal. There is a dining area in addition to the bar. Priced a little higher than most, but still a bargain when compared to the prices inside of the Garden. There is a lot of competition in in this area. One could bar hop around a single block and be just about ready for the T ride home.

The fours triple play was delicious, especially the philly cheesesteak egg rolls. The Boston memorabilia was also impressive -- an extensive collection covering everything from the Boston marathon to Boston sports teams. The only reason why we didn't give it a five was because of the atmosphere/crowd was less than what we were hoping for for an iconic sports restaurant/bar.

Just had drinks, everyone seemed very friendly. Bar tender was great, asked for an extra lime got a whole dish full. Prices were abit high for my liking but the drinks were good. Bar was clean, they had multiple sports on TV. Would deff return again.

I had the Doug Flutie sandwich. Very good! Prices were reasonable as well. Be sure to avoid right after a game let's out as it can get a little loud.

The wings and fries are delicious. The manhattan was great too. I had the fish and chips were okay. The fish fell apart too easily. My buddy ordered nachos and the plate they brought out was massive! They looked delicious.
