The Fragile Flour

I had their hazelnut cupcake the other day and came back for more but they were all sold out! So good!!! They have an assortment of cupcakes, cakes, cookies and they even make their own ice cream! You can't even tell it's vegan. I can't believe this bakery isn't more well known!! I tried their banana pudding and it was the best I've ever had!

I will preface this by saying I am not vegan. This cute little spot on a block full of bakeries served wine, nice music playing. You definitely could sit and stay awhile. There were a plethora of gluten free items as well. I am not vegan so I did not enjoy the baked goods at all.

What a gem! We had the Mexican hot chocolate cupcake and the chocolate brownie. Both perfect and crazy tasty. They also have wine! A pretty decent selection too and the space is a sweet spot to sit for a sweet treat break ❤️

Very cute vegan dessert shop that has really inventive and creative flavors. This is the chefs chamomile infused cake. Also serves wine!

This strawberry cake slice tasted like cardboard slathered with sweetest frosting in the world. LITERALLY GROSS!! There was not even an ounce of strawberry flavor. I had chocolate cake before which was good and the only reason I went back to try more flavors. But I think I have enough after wasting 12$ on this slice literally going to trash not even edible.

Cute little spot on a plant-based haven of a block - 7th street! They had little samples out, which was the Rocky Road Brownie - omg was that dangerously delicious. Had to buy one to-go! Really cute & cozy spot to meet & catch up with a friend, date or just a dessert indulgence after dinner nearby. They have plenty of options to satiate your sweet tooth and many items are also GF.

I’ve been a few times and always enjoy it. The wines are good and the baked goods are outstanding. Ashton throws it down. Plus they have gluten free options in addition to everything being vegan (I’m neither and everything I’ve had has been delicious) The croissant is dope! New renovations have greatly improved the space as well.

Best Tiramisu in my life. The rich coffee ravine down to the salt pocket is 🤌. This chef is an absolute goddess. I have since reached spiritual awakening since trying their dessert. Go or forever have a cake shaped hole in your heart because you didn’t try Fragile Flour.

This place is so good, I forgot it was vegan! You heard me right - the cakes, cookies, and ice creams look so good, you would think it's any regular bakery. But it's not! Me and my wife are not vegan but were looking for a cafe to sit and munch on stuff for a minute. We had a lemon blueberry cupcake as well as an oatmeal cookie sandwich, which ran us ~$9. It wasn't until we were halfway through both things that I saw a sign stating everything in here was vegan! That fact made things extra impressive for me. I have a nut allergy so for me, my instinct is vegan = cashews. This bakery takes that into consideration in all that they do and makes sure to keep most things nut free. Despite that, you wouldn't miss the eggs or milk in anything. The cupcake was moist, lemony, and full of blueberries, and the oatmeal cookie sandwich -- ohhhh man, I don't know how they did it but it had such good chew and texture. The baker in-house was named Donna, and she was great with explaining how they went about being careful with their ingredients, and even gave us a sample of their upside-down pineapple cake ice "cream" - texture was on point, and I was shocked that they could get those flavors using lentils (yes, lentils) and coconut milk. I could taste the pineapples and cherries, and it even had some kind of cookies mixed in! Just fantastic service all around. If you're thinking of visiting a bakery, definitely consider it. It's objectively delicious and I think it's worth the try for their innovation alone!

What a great little spot for upscale vegan desserts! I was able to attend the soft opening and had the "savory trio" and two of the desserts. The savory trio included lemon pesto arancini, a pretzel bite, and a tomato pepper tart (one small bite of each) that were all very good, although the desserts were the real star. The lemon meringue pie with chamomile-infused lemon curd and aquafaba meringue was incredible. The chocolate tiramisu was also delicious. The prices are a little steep, but I look forward to coming back here, especially if they introduce new items to their menu.

Came here after dinner at Avant Garden and had the Tiramisu. It is so incredible. I'm kicking myself for not asking if I could get another one to go! The location is cozy and intimate. Overall a lovely experience.

Vegan and soy free is nearly impossible to find. The amazing team checked in with the pastry chef and the whole Sunrise to Sunset Valentine's day box was safe for me to eat. This is the first time in over a year I have enjoyed safe pastries and they are MAGICAL. The scones are otherworldly. The texture and flavors are too good. Everything I have tried so far has been unbelievably delicious. The perfect amount of sweetness, flavor and perfect texture which is so hard to achieve in vegan desserts. Highly recommended.

A croissant $5.75 that is super expensive Few blocks away at Le Fournil they are much better and really less expensive

This is more of a 3.5 rating. The bakery is so cute and quaint I enjoyed the atmosphere and variety of vegan goods. The reason why I could not bump this up to a 4 star rating is I just don't think the prices are justified for the quality. I know vegan baking often comprises of pricier alternatives but the flavors were just not there. I had a pistachio cupcake whilst my partner had a Guinness chocolate flavored cupcake. The pistachio cupcake did not really have a discernable pistachio taste. It was just sugary sweet and very salty. I was not a fan of the frosting texture but the cake itself was pleasant though crumbly. My partner liked his cupcake but noted that it was average. At a price point of $14.00 for two small cupcakes it should be more than just passable. I do hope they can work on developing more flavorful items because the environment and service are great. At this time I think Confectionary is the better option if looking to just get vegan sweet treats to go since they do not have seating there.

The vegan ice cream is the best I have ever tasted! Got the lemon meringue. Can't wait to go back for the smoked coffe with chocolate covered pretzels! The gluten free cake was amazing too. My new favorite bakery!

The perfect spot for an after dinner treat. The herbal aperitivo on the menu made for a great digestivo, and the chai hazelnut tiramisu was sublime.

I loved the brownies and cupcakes! I'll definitely be coming back for the drinks as well.

Knocked it out of the park! We had a delicious tiramisu and never would've guessed it was vegan. It was so so so good
