Fram Museum is basically a history info avalanche… in the best way and the worst way. There’s a lot to read or listen. But if you’re into polar expeditions, survival stories and “how did these people not die instantly?” energy, it’s actually fascinating.
Bonus: it’s a perfect refuge from bad weather. Cold outside? Rain? Wind? Fram said: come suffer indoors instead, but educationally.
The polar flight simulation was honestly a highlight. Fun, immersive, not just some dusty old screen in a corner. Really well done.
And listen, walk through the entire ship. All of it. Top to bottom. It’s massive and full of little details, tiny rooms, equipment..
Not a flashy museum, but a very solid one.
Educational,lil immersive, and unexpectedly cool.
