I hate to give this place a bad rating, and honestly, I've only ever had great customer service here. But what I experienced today by an employee was not ok.
Not sure if she was the store manager or the floral manager or what (she was over by floral, but if she is the store manager, then she needs some additional customer service training). She approached me about something that I was not in the wrong for and didn't even approach me nicely about it. Called from behind me - not an "Excuse me, ma'am" or a "Hi, can I speak with you about this?" Nope, just rudely shouts a question at me - and me not even knowing she's talking to me, doesn't answer at first - she then walks up to me, physically removes an item from my bag even after me explaining why said item was in my bag, and then walks away. I should have left the other items I planned to purchase there in the store and went home. I understand WHY she did it. It's the MANNER in which she did it that was very unprofessional.
Long story short, the Assistant Manager was super and things were remedied. He made my visit fantastic prior to this vile woman approaching me. Wish I had gotten her name, but I was so taken back that I was being treated in this way that I just didn't think to glance at her name tag. My hope is that she was dealt with appropriately after I left. And if SHE'S your store manager, then woof.
That being said, I will never buy from the floral department of this store again. Which is sad, because I'm not even sure if she ran the floral department. It's just where she was during the time of this incident. I honestly would prefer not to shop there at all anymore, but the other employees were just so nice prior to this, that I hate to let one person rain on my parade.
So, hey Fresh Market employee who took the small bouquet of flowers away from me today and then promptly returned them because you got told you were WRONG - if you're the one responding to these comments - you are BEYOND rude and need to learn how to approach customers respectfully. It's the day before a holiday and you made me feel like dirt. Luckily, I'm a nice person and didn't chew you out for what you did. You're also lucky your assistant manager, cashier, and another employee were absolutely fantastic because I honestly would never set foot in this store again after that otherwise.
So, instead of treating you disrespectfully in the store like you did to me, I'll just leave this nice little review here for all (and hopefully, your manager) to see :)
