I volunteer at church on Sunday mornings. My day starts at 7 and concludes at 1 pm. As always on Easter Sundays, I cook. But given my schedule at church I decided, for the very first time to take advance of the Fresh Market meals. I ordered the brunch quiche bundle as well as the Prime Rib Roast for 4. OMG, what a smart decision I made. My family loved our meal! Praised me throughout the day. The quiche was delicious, the prime rib roast was amazing. I had no idea it would be seasoned so perfectly. Family was fighting over the leftovers. Thank you Fresh Market for providing me a wonderful solution to what I thought was going to be a stressful holiday gathering. Love you all!

Google
A very nice upscale market with high quality fish, meat, produce and baked goods. Love the burst of color when you enter. Fish department has a nice assortment of wild caught options. Bakery is nice too. Love the cannolis from here. Nice selection of flavored coffee beans and there’s always a brewed sample to try. Prices can be high but they always runs specials and honestly it’s really nice to shop here.

Google
This is definitely a grocery store that you stop at to fill in the holes or have something unique. While you can pick up a number of convenient things, I go in here for specialty cheeses, meats, their nice produce, wine, a nice gift, flowers, gourmet snack, or dessert. Prices are a tad on the high side, but as a supplement to your everyday grocery this place is great!

Google
At First Glance, The Store Is Clean, Well Stocked, And Organized. Most Of The Staff Is Friendly, And Eager To Help. Sadly Some Where Having A Bad Day And It Showed In Their Customer Satisfaction Attempts. The Coffee Station Is Among The Best In All The Fresh Markets In The Near By Area. They Brew On Schedule, Keep A Constant Rotation On Their Available Blends. Better Than Starbucks In My Opinion. Overall The Store Gets A Solid 5 Stars From Me. At This Rate With Their Prices They Are Very Clear Competitive Threat To Other Groceries Stores, This Was Not The Case A Few Years Back. Fresh Market Has Come A Long Way And I Actually Enjoy Shopping There.

Google
Fresh Market has a lot of great products, I’m not sure why the deli staff is not only incompetent & act like they want to be anywhere else, but also have empty shelves when the store opens at 7:00. All food & bakery items should be available for purchase when the doors open. I popped in on a Saturday to buy wings & fresh bread at 8:30am, I was told the wings aren’t available (on the biggest college football game day of the year) & fresh bread won’t be ready until after 9:00am (bakers can come in before store opens). Management needs to correct two issues, training (some of these folks belong at McDonald’s) & having all food ready to purchase when the doors open.

Google
Food is very good; prices are very high. The Prime ribeye cannot be beat but big price, about $22.00 for a 1/2-pound steak. If you have the $ there's not a better melt in your mouth cut. They also have really good panini's, baked goods. Sometimes clams. fresh squeezed juices, unfortunately it's now rare they have grapefruit juice and crazy money if they do.

Google
Love this Market!! I have a special sound out to Sheba in the bakery department! She goes out of her way to make sure I have my special Cinnamon Rolls! She is one of the reasons that I remain a loyal customer of this particular Fresh Market!

Richard Schagrin

Google
This is one of their larger stores so they have a better selection of products. They have a very good produce, meat, fish & seafood, bakery, wine, and prepared foods sections in addition to dry grocery items. Upscale gourmet market.

Yelp
If you're looking for quality sandwiches, wraps, fruit and cheese trays, pastries or many other tasty party treats, you have to take a look at The Fresh Market's catering menu. I've hosted a couple of large house gatherings recently, and I could not have been more pleased by the delicious food and wonderful service I experienced. Happy and hungry guests all commented on the quality and presentation of the food and wanted to know where I ordered it from. Our local supermarket offers a respectable alternative, but if you want to take things to the next level, The Fresh Market is the place to visit or call.

Yelp
I got anxiety coming in, super small store, felt cluttered, not a huge selection of things. Staff were friendly

Yelp
I always forget how much I like shopping here. I like this location at Loggers Run on 441 and Glades Rd. Plenty of parking in the lot right in front. This is an upscale specialty grocery store that offers a nice selection of high-quality and fresh products. Walk in the door and there is so much color. It makes you want to shop or at least walk around. They are known for fresh produce, meats, seafood, bakery items, and other gourmet foods. This does come at a price but it's a much nicer environment than Publix. Yes, it is pricey... but... join the loyalty club and there's are some great advantages. $3.99 a pound chicken breast on Tuesdays and some great weekday and weekend specials. Employees are friendly and no one behind the meat or fish counter belittles you for only buying what's on special.

Yelp
It seems that the Boca location does not want to do business with people that don't have a computer. So I called and the tel message says go to their website to place an order for a platter. So since in don't have a computer I went there in person, only to be told you have to order on line. I will ship at Publix where they are happy to have my business.

Yelp
I'm a regular shopper at the Fresh Market and the Camino Store in Boca Raton looks filthy lately . Their display case with chicken and meats look like it hasn't seen any cleaning for months. i went in there to get some chicken and walked out for how dirty the store looked overall.

Dolores M.

Yelp
I love coming to the fresh market because they have great produce products that most stores are lacking nowaday. They have great people who help when I need something or are looking for a specific item. the atmosphere is relaxing too.

Yelp
I love this store!! It is much larger than Fresh Market where I live. This store carries so many different varieties of....everything! They have so many fresh fruits and veggies. I love their candy department too. I never have issues with freshness or quality here. I don't buy meat or seafood here because it is too far to travel home with it. What I do purchase is their amazing desserts from the bakery department. They really have something for everyone in the bakery. They have lots of parking and also offer curbside pickup. You even get a little.bonus for.curbside pickup. It could be a cookie or a bistro meal for two when spending $100 or more. I have also bought flowers here. They are definitely pricey for what you get. But they do last. The cashiers are always so pleasant. It really is a pleasure to shop here.

Yelp
I have not had a good experience purchasing fresh seafood at this market. And the meat selection is good, but you can't always find what you're looking for. Produce is pretty unimpressive and overpriced. In general, Fresh Market seems overpriced. They do well in the pantry section, for example they have a great selection of tinned fish and specialty products. Good oils, marinades, and things like that. In general, I think you are paying for the design and layout of the store, which is indeed cool.

Yelp
I love shopping at the Fresh Market. They always have a beautiful selection of produce, meat, bakery, and deli items. They even have a sushi section, a great cheese and wine selection, a coffee bar and some great prepackaged meals and salads to go. You can even have a sandwich made or pick up something for lunch and sit at the tables in the front of the store or out on the patio tables to eat. The prices are a little on the expensive side, especially for the produce, but you can catch great sales as well. On Tuesday they have their ground chuck and chicken breast on sale for $3.99 a pound. Weekends have sales on various meat selections, and grocery items too. They also do holiday platters and dinners and we have ordered our Thanksgiving from there a couple of times and we're pleased with it. Unlike Whole Foods, it is a mix of traditional foods and organic items with a splash of unique specialty foods too. They also have a nice floral section where my husband goes to get beautiful bouquets for holidays. The only downside is that it is not a large grocery store but more of a specialty store so don't expect to find huge selections of every day grocery items but they do have what you need to get you through.

Yelp
This is my first and last time getting prepared food at this location. It's so fresh they forget to wash it. $8.99 in the trash. What a waste. Hard to believe this is Boca Raton. Super disappointed.

Yelp
I have been to several Fresh Markets in the past and they're usually great. It's an expensive store but you get what you pay for. Unfortunately after my experience today, I don't see myself returning to this location. I was thrilled this morning to see that they were having a fresh fish sale and I came during the advertised hours. The associate was very rude when I asked about the fresh fish, pointing to previously frozen fish and saying "that's it!" He claimed that all of the fish is previously frozen and even after I showed him the email about fresh fish he had no idea what I was talking about. I left and went to another location where I was greeted warmly and they actually did have fresh, not previously frozen, fish. I advise that this location learn about their own promotions and be prepared for customers looking for what they advertise.

Yelp
Cris who works at the Boca Raton location is an asset to your company . I'm in management myself and wish all my employees were like him! he is so welcoming, helpful, and adheres to the rules. wish I could steal him away!

Yelp
I just went here tonight! I absolutely love the vibes of this cute market. It had everything for any dietary needs. I am vegan so I found a lot of options for that. The produce section is what I noticed first and it was soooo big I loved looking at everything they had a good balance of organic and non organic. They have so much to go food as well so if you need something quick just grab it and go. They have the best soup selection by the deli as well my favorite is the tomato soups. They have outdoor seating which is nice and a ton of parking

Yelp
For some reason this location of the Fresh Market isn't as well-run as the other locations I have been to. I went to this grocery store one time when they were supposed to be having tastings throughout the store. I walked all over the store and only found one small food station where they were giving away samples of salad. This Fresh Market has great potential, because their other locations are outstanding. The staff doesn't seem at all motivated when you ask for their assistance here. I'll give them another try and see if they have improved. I would love to see them improve to the level of the other Fresh Markets. The others are lovely places to shop, with great food and service. The aisles are filled with mouth-watering taste treats. The stores have many friendly, helpful staff members. They are great places to do your holiday food shopping. They even have pre-prepared dinners for your convenience.

Yelp
The person in front of me had an issue with a sale item and Jan. who i guess is some form of management walked outside the store with the person and left everyone online waiting while they searched the 40 cent difference instead of suspending her transaction. The cashier. cannot proceed without him suspending. i walked over to him to request he suspend the transaction so we could check out. He rolled his eyes at me and said he couldn't help me because he was helping someone else. i again asked him to take a moment to suspend the transaction and he said he was busy. i insisted a third time and he walked over and rolling his eyes making faces as he angrily suspended the transaction... which , as a manager, on a saturday, he should have had the sense to do. Jan, needs some management training.

Yelp
I love this Fresh Market. The staff is friendly and helpful. The produce section is fabulous. The butcher and sea food departments have more than what I need. And, the Fresh Market has daily and weekly specials - that I usually take advantage of.

Yelp
SOS Good food terrible customer service. The food is always good. The customer service is always terrible. I went to Fresh Market around 1130 this morning to get a bistro meal. The woman behind the counter asked what I wanted. I told her a bistro meal. She then proceed to chat with her co-worker, print labels for a number of containers and then after a few minutes asked me what I wanted. Somethings never change. Go for the food but be prepared for terrible service

wendy h.

Yelp
I have patronized locations in del Ray Beach, boca, and Wellington. Meat counter employees are the rudest people I have ever dealt with in a grocery store. Even though the store is immaculate and has certain items I like or need but I cannot continue to shop at these stores.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place so much, they always have great fresh produce. Me and my dad always shop here for specific things because they are the only place that sell them, and it's always good!! It is a bit pricey but if you don't shop there often and buy that much it's good!

Yelp
...so this was our first premade meal takeout experience during the pandemic -- we got Dynamite Tuna Rolls & Assorted Nigiri (with a side of Deviled Eggs) and it was Heavenly! The chef that prepared the sushi needs recognition. She nailed it and we could see the happiness on her face in our excitement of grabbing her freshly-made sushi

Yelp
I love there meal deals. Always good and easy prep when u just don't feel like going to the store for all the stuff u need then have left over stuff u never use.

Yelp
AMENDMENT - THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE STORE ON 441 IN BOCA RATON FL, NOT CALIFORNIA. DOWNHILL - used to love shopping here but quality of food has declined, especially prepared food. Can't reach anyone at store by phone to discuss problem, you need to return to the store to report a problem - not worth the gas. Last time I told them about an issue (not even asking for a refund), they had an attitude. There are too many other options and I won't waste my hard earned money at TFM any longer, will take my business where it is appreciated.

Daniel G.

Yelp
Just left The Fresh Market on 441 in Boca Raton. I purchased two bushels of "Organic" Celery sticks. Upon opening and pulling the celery apart, I notice that they are "LACED" with ants. Yes, I said ANT's. LIVE CRAWLING ANTS! Dozens of them... Crawling all over the inside of the celery! I picked up the phone and called to speak to a manager. NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE. I called 4-times and let it ring at least 30 times. No Answer. How do you run a business where nobody answers the phone??? So I get in my car, drive all the way back to the market, and ask for a manager. THEY CANNOT FIND THE MANAGER. Have no idea where he is. He's not out front. He's not out back. He's nowhere to be found..... I will NEVER, and I mean NEVER shop at The Fresh Market again. Absolutely Zero customer service. And when I asked the clerk how they could run a business where they don't answer their phones and don't have a manager to help when you come in.....his response, "write a review" Really? That really speaks volumes! Stay away from this store. And if you do go, whatever you do; don't buy the produce. What an absolutely awful experience! I would expect better than this out of The Fresh Market.

Yelp
Currently available research supports the possibility that SARS-CoV-2 could be spread via bioaerosols generated directly by exhalation. To err on the safe side please require that all employees handling food including restocking and cashiers be required to wear protective facial masks. Some of your meat section employees do but not all. In the interest of protecting the public you must make this a formal policy.

Yelp
Struggling between rating a 4 or 5 ONLY because of their prices. The products are fantastic. Exclusive TFM-only items, high quality, FRESH, and healthy. The store atmosphere is comforting because it's small and not overwhelming. Also not laid out in the traditional, boring, horizontal aisle grocery store style. Their fruit section is really attractive because it's kept very neat and all looks fresh. But immediately you can contrast some of the hiked prices with other stores. Their butcher section with the meat and seafood is extremely appealing with already-seasoned items ready for the grill, all looking so scrumptious and clean. And LAST BUT BEST, their BAKERY section! THIS....THIS section right here is hands down the best bakery I've seen at any of the major grocery chains in Florida. And the prices were fair for the size of the pastries. Ultimately, I like here alot. Although I wouldn't do full grocery shopping, i'd be willing to spend $20-25/week in produce, and pick up one of there unique healthy drink options (because there are many). Update 4/30/17: I switched from 4 to 5 stars because Damnit I love this place! The high prices are justified for the shopping experience and quality. Plus, on my most recent trip, I discovered a Nut Butter machine. They have almonds and peanuts loaded in it, and you just hit the switch, place your container below, and watch your own NATURAL nut butter come out.

Yelp
I ordered a platter of wraps from the boca raton store for New Year's Day. the deli manager, Brandy, took my order and listened carefully to my specific requests and delivered a perfect product! my guests loved everything and the food was presented beautifully. i even got a call on the morning of my order to confirm everything. i was very happy working with Brandy.

Yelp
I like Fresh Market and they have some great sales. Also they have a very nice wine selection.

Yelp
I don't usually review grocery stores but I love this location of The Fresh Market. I stopped here to buy cookies for a cookie exchange party and they had a variety to choose from. The gingerbread cookies were pretty festive so we decided to get those. They tasted ok. Our star purchase here was the sushi. The flavor is incredible and it was very fresh. To date, this is the best market sushi I've had including from Publix, Whole Foods, and Lucky's Market. We got a variety of rolls, but I'm sure anything you pick up here will be delicious! I am not in the area but would go here for a night in with sushi if given the chance.

Yelp
Fresh market is not quite what it's was, not a great wine selections, pre mades, meats was not fresh and way over priced

Yelp
I give Fresh Market, Michael the store Manger and the Lovely cashier and the fellas in Produce..and Jr in the fish dept - a 100% satisfied ALWAYS!!! You guys are GREAT!! I ended up at your store today, after Pop's disappointed me again - bad review for them turned out to be great one for you... so here you go.... I'm giving Pop's the minimum rating after 8yrs of living in E Boca. I'm a great cook & love to entertain. We love doing seafood boils, fresh fish filets in packets w veggies, fish kabobs, fresh lobster and I have a killer salmon recipe. They consistently disappoint! In the past Pop's is ALWAYS very overpriced and the stuff does NOT look very good. Being in Hillsboro, you would think they would be a little nicer...than Boca Consistently rude, put out to answer questions, and pretty much treat me like I'm an intrusion in their day. I had an incidence on Monday where some handsome EMT's for Deerfield beach, drove me home in their special red bus. I insisted on repaying the favor by making them dinner. I stopped by the firehouse and we settled on Sunday 5:00pm and I would be bringing them my Firecracker salmon, mange rice, and apple crisp with vanilla ice cream! All home made ... no wines/beer allowed says the captain :) Knowing I would be needing about 6 lbs of salmon, set out to tell the story to some lucky fishmonger...lets do a good thing and feed the EMT's together on Sunday.. I support our socially distant dinner club in order to support local business. I worked 3 yrs for the boca Museum and a year before I retired for Temple Beth El...shopping locally, non profits, fundraising, economy, corona, race riots... I do my part by PROMOTE EMPHATHY!! Daily belly laugh and next meal. Try not to take myself too seriously! Ha! Thinking they'de take $1 off the $17.99/lb for some slimy looking (old and mealy) or even offer a gift certificate for the guys,... rudely they stared at me, the two of them...and I can converse. I asked so .."yes or no?...can you help me out . NO! was their flat answer... No problem, Jimmy, the store manager at Publix would be happy to be involved, but their fish can be wonderful or okay at times. So, I headed to Fresh Market FIRST, all being within 3 miles of each other. I asked the cashier as I walked in - she paged Michael, who I asked to meet me at fish counter. By the time I got back there...Michael was waiting for me - No problem he says,,,I got you! I won't be here Sunday but my two managers on duty will take care of you. The salmon looked way better than Pop's and only $12.99/lb (Pops always overpriced for the look of their seafood) He went on to enthusiastically help me pick out mangoes for the rice. He even got me a basket when my hands got too full.,..(maybe I should cut & paste as positive review for fresh market) Pop's fish market missed out on an opportunity today to pay forward in the community. We are S Florida with highest covid numbers and tension fills the air with boarded up businesses afraid to be held up. Many have armed security. We need to be positive, get a belly laugh daily and worry about our next meal. The basics. Policemen, Emt's , firefighters(my son-in -law volunteers at 3different stations and at 21 yr age started recovering bodies out of the schkuykill river in Philadelphia) go underappreciated... too bad for you Pops you didn't recognize a chance to pay it forward for someone else! I recommend Dixie seafood, when you want to spend a bit extra on Dixie Hwy north of hillsboro - great fresh fish - fantastic service - they often throw things in for free when I buy my usual over abundance. In season open , and with covid ... Mid range would be fresh Market - fabulous clean place - small grocery - while you can't get canned goods, cleaning products ... anything for dinner is here with lots of specials and ideas for dinner. Michael the store Manager helped me out today when Pops absolutely flatly refused! Didn't need to go onto Publix, but I'd bet money Jimmy would absolutely do something for the guys... Tomorrow , Superior will repair a window tint - Jason the owner has already told me he is not charging me for it...he did my husbands car a few months back.. I have ordered hoagies tray for his guys from Publix.. just another way to pay forward in these difficult times and spread joy & practice empathy !! BTW, I'm the crazy lady that insists on buying the cashier & bagger ( or pharmacy staff) a candy bar when I go thru the checkout. Some of the fellas pick chips instead!

Yelp
This is my new go to place for fresh produce, meat, coffee and baked goods. The produce here is beautifully displayed and offers a good variety of high quality of fruits and vegetables. The produce is also as delicious as it looks. The meat is of similar high grade and quality and the butcher will cut the meat for you the way you want it. By the way all of the meat is freshly cut for display to preserve its taste. Free coffee tasting is offered, usually corresponding to the coffee which is on sale that day. The bread and baked goods are amazing. A must try is the cheddar cheese muffins. Lightly toast them and the cheddar slightly melts on the inside, yum! My only complaint is that they don't seem to offer freshly made sandwiches. The only sandwiches are oddly, pre-made for the day and all of which (including the Italian sub) all seem to contain mayo. (Seriously? An Italian sub with mayo? In NY, they would have them tarred and feathered) However, despite the sandwich shortcomings, this place is awesome. With specials offered on Tuesday, you can also find pretty reasonable deals here, as well. I am a fan.
google avatar

Yelp
I really like the prepared food here and how it lists the calories. Very helpful in making mindful food choices. The food is delicious and affordable. I have seen on weekends that there are sample areas. Last weekend they had ice cream sandwich samples! Fruit and vegetables look fresh. I also love how there is outdoor seating right next door to the restaurant.
google avatar

Yelp
Great market! They have awesome already prepared fresh sandwiches, salads, soups etc. I work close by so it's my go-to for lunch. I also love their easy dinner stuff they have- the pizza they make which only requires you to pop in the oven is so yummy and way cheaper than ordering delivery. Great deals on Tuesdays and Sundays. There meat and seafood is the best.

Yelp
Don't buy meat at these markets! Several months ago I bought ground meat at Fresh Market on Military to make stuffed cabbage using a recipe and method I have used for over 20 years. After cooking the dish for several hours, the meat still looked raw. It was an unappetizing bright red. The meat had obviously been dyed. I spoke with the meat manager at the store where I purchased the meat. He not only denied that the meat was dyed, but treated me like an idiot. Thinking that maybe it was that particular store, I tried again with a different Fresh Market, the one on Camino. This time I mixed ground round with ground sirloin and made a pot of Italian wedding soup. The soup simmered for several hours, and the meatballs turned bright pink. Really Fresh Market? What are you using... red dye #2? That will be it for me. Caveat emptor.

Yelp
This place is terrible. Every time I come here I regret it. Let's start with the meat department. There is always a wait, and by wait I mean 20 plus minutes. The "deli counter" isn't much better. They generally have two employees servicing customers and inevitably one is always to busy cleaning while you wait. And the check out lines are always packed and management refuses to open new counters. Several times they have been out of the few items that Publix doesn't carry. When I asked how they could be out of items so often the manager blamed the delivery company. Let's not forget the high prices which you would expect from a premium market provided the market was actually "premium", which this market is not.

Yelp
Generally pretty disgusting. From the moment that I walked in and smelled the Panera-like stale bread gross old grocery store smell, I knew this was not going to be a place I'd want to buy anything. There's barely anything organic and it's pretty much about the level of a Winn-Dixie in California. Very sad state of affairs here in FL. I bought a few packaged goods but was basically unwilling to touch the produce.
google avatar

Yelp
Very negative experience with a rude cashier. She had flung my wine bottles in the cart in double bagged plastic bags. I grabbed the last bag with the third bottle to prevent the loud cling and she had the audacity to yell at me. Never had this problem with Whole Foods , total wine or publix. She probably wasn't paid enough to care to handle wine properly. Will not return here
google avatar

Phyllis S.

Yelp
Love shopping here, they have items I cannot find at Publix. Wish they were a little bigger and had room for more. The meats are great.
google avatar

Alexandra D.

Yelp
First timer here!!!!! Fell in love immediately with all the different kinds of flowers displayed as soon as you walk in. All the meat and seafood looked AMAZING! I will be coming back to try the Olive Bar, Seafood Bar and Salad Bar!

Blake M.

Yelp
It's so SLOW. Every worker is so slow and they always only have 1 or 2 cashiers open with huge lines so it takes forever to check out. The prices are expensive yet it's the same exact stuff you can get at Publix. Their prepared food isn't good. I got a panini and had it warmed up and it was rock hard and ice cold. The cheese was like a piece of plastic. I'd rather have a Panera panini.

Yelp
This is such a cool market. It has everything you want in a supermarket and more. The music was nice to shop to and the place is immaculate. I stopped in to buy my friend Judy fresh flowers and wound up getting much more. The guy at the deli counter was super nice as was the cashiers. Since I'm visiting from NY I might not be back soon but if I lived near by I'd be here as a regular. I bought Judy a gorgeous purple orchid and they had so many choices of flowers too!

Yelp
Love it. Always check dates. Found salad dressing and goat cheese out of date today. Nice place to find all sorts of good offerings!

Yelp
I thought I'd reviewed; anyhow, the fare is akin to Whole Foods, the layout more like a smaller specialty store (but large enough to carry something in every conceivable department) with the same slightly higher prices for almost everything. Negatives: They have very large selections of coffee beans but they might sit a bit too long; also great looking produce that might get sprayed onsite to hasten ripening, which leaves the outside looking awesome but the inside of many items unripe, mealy or even rotten...it's a weird potluck. Positives: The bakery department is clutch, with great bread and some downright ridiculously awesome cookies. Olive bar is decent, much again akin to WF's level. Also a respectable beer selection, though this time nowhere close to WF's depth of offerings. Wine stock is also respectable, usually with a nice gevurstermeiner (yeah, I'll spell that grape correctly just about never) to grab, and even some real ports.

Yelp
I'm a Fresh Market adorer. I've never quite had this low level experience. Deli counter employee couldn't be bothered. The cheese and olive bar was not equipped with sufficient lids and containers. Something smelled bad at it which should not happen at FRESH Market. There was a 10 person deep line at the register. The cashier explained that 3 hours before closing, staffing is decreased and the atmosphere is casual. Wow! Something is OFF with this store's staffing. No manager in sight, although I did ask at check out. I am really hopeful I walked in here on a bad day. Note to self: don't come in within THREE hours of closing.

Yelp
Shopping here is like a zen, relaxation therapy moment in my world... And if you knew me - and my heartfelt abhorrence to food shopping, you would know that in itself the above sentence is a major statement... The butcher is beyond helpful and any market that gives you a few free samples of wine while you are shopping is doing something right...

Yelp
I've been going to The Fresh Market for many years. In the last few years, the place has changed drastically and not for the better. The produce, which used to be top notch, is now 1/10 the amount as before and the produce isn't as good. Now they have pre-packaged stuff which you can get anywhere. The deli quality has disappeared. The meat counter has suffered greatly in quality and service with very young men replacing the older more experienced butchers. But today was a nightmare. On Saturday, I purchased a primal cut into large ribeye steaks. Immediately put the package into my refrigerator for tonight (Monday) to cook. I opened the package and was hit with rotten meat smell and brown, disgusting rotting flesh! The kid in the meat department must have sold me product that was either past its date or only a day before it was going to go bad. I'm furious!!! David, a manager from another store who was temporarily in the store, correctly refunded all my purchase price and even offered to help save the dinner that night. I thanked him but will never trust the food from this place ever again. What used to be a wonderful place to shop with soothing music and pleasant staff has turned into a profit-driven nightmare filled with disgusting food and staff that doesn't care. Avoid this location if not the entire chain. I heard that P&G was buying controlling interest in this chain and that could be why they are now worthless.

Yelp
The name says it all " the fresh food market" you can't beat fresh food, it's like you picked the fruits and vegetables strait from your own garden. They also make fresh pasta salads and soups, great option for a quick lunch.

Yelp
I was hoping when they opened this Fresh Market that they would improve on the things I didn't like about their store on Camino Real. They didn't. The isles are narrow, making it hard to get around the store with a grocery cart. Because the store isn't as large as Whole Foods or Publix Greenwise the number of items they sell is limited. I'm not crazy about the bakery items I have tried and I find their prices to be high. It is a nice touch that they give you free coffee to drink while you're shopping.
