The 'Friends' Experience Is Coming to Las Vegas — What to Know

"An official West Coast flagship immersive tribute to the hit sitcom opening at a Las Vegas resort later this year to celebrate the show’s 30th anniversary. The activation recreates iconic sets so visitors can chill in Monica’s apartment, relax in the Central Perk coffeehouse, and kick back in Chandler and Joey’s black lazy‑boy recliners; fans can even reenact Ross and Rachel’s wedding scene and bust through the chapel doors. Beyond photo-ready moments, the experience includes behind‑the‑scenes displays of production materials, props and costumes, is all-ages accessible, and follows a five-year touring run that visited 24 cities across eight countries and a permanent location in New York City, with London and this Las Vegas site serving as anchored activations." - Ryan Slattery Ryan Slattery Ryan Slattery has visited over 70 countries and has written about his experiences both in the air and on the ground. His work can also be found on TravelAge West. Eater, Infatuation, Tripadvisor, TripSavvy, The Washington Post, and AARP Magazine.  Travel + Leisure Editorial Guidelines

This is definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan of the show. We loved the whole thing. The staff were outstanding and made it a great experience. Highly recommend

The worst FRIENDS experience ever! We purchased tickets for $39 each and then decided to purchase the “VIP Experience” on top of that which included a lanyard, pin, magnetic frame, one free 6x4 photo, and expedited entry which was an additional $30. The whole experience is rushed, even though they say that you can take as much time as possible. The employees that take your photos with your cellphone take the worst photos possible - blurry, eyes closed, don’t announce they’re taking photos, etc. Just make sure you look at your photos BEFORE moving onto the next part of the experience. It took less than 30 minutes from start to finish to get through the whole experience. The sets that they state are exact replicas are not if you’re a true Friends fan. I’d highly recommend spending your money elsewhere.

What a fun experience for fans of Friends. If you’re looking for a fairly quick experience in Vegas and you’re a fan of the show I definitely recommend this experience. It was great to see some of the Friend’s sets and props and we got some great photos (I only posted 2 of myself so you can experience it yourself). The staff was great, I appreciate that they take professional photos that you can buy but are also willing to take photos on personal devices. We did a quick walk through with pics of our favorite things and it took us just under an hour, it would take a little longer if you read more of the set notes etc that they have available or if you are in a larger group that wanted to take a lot more pictures in each set. There is also a small retail area and kiosks to purchase the professional images. We did buy a $45 photo package with digital images and 6 large prints because it seemed like the best deal and we liked all the professional photos they took.

If you love Friends, you will 💯 love the experience! The photo opps were so fun!!! From Monica’s apartment to Central Perk and everything in between, we were laughing the entire time. My personal favorite - posing as Phoebe while playing Smelly Cat. My recommendation - play Smelly Cat in Central Perk! It’s a must!!!

Save your money!!! Unless you’re bored in Vegas with nothing else to do. As a long time fan of the show, I was extremely disappointed in the “experience”. We were given a card with a QR code on it. This was asked for at every room we entered. Very annoying. It seemed as if we were being rushed through because of the next group coming in behind us. The rooms were not close to being accurate. For real fans, this matters. We were told that we could use our camera to take photos and when we tried, the employees would offer to take the pictures for us. Very nice but, all of those turned out like crap. Even the photos they took with their cameras came out horrible. The only thing that was actually from the show was 1 outfit from each of the cast members and a couple of scripts. NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR THE WALK to get to this place. At the end is the gift shop that was super tiny. Might as well have been in a closet.

If you’re thinking of going - don’t!. It’s not worth the admission fee, especially if you visit from outside the US, as they don’t accept cash. That means you must use your credit card, which adds to the final tally. They also don’t let guests use SLR cameras, only cell phone cameras. Going through the exhibit, the staff are trying to take your picture every few minutes. Of course, they want you to buy the photos at the end. Oh yes, the gift shop there does not accept cash, only credit cards.
