The 'Friends' Experience Is Coming to Las Vegas — What to Know

"An official West Coast flagship immersive tribute to the hit sitcom opening at a Las Vegas resort later this year to celebrate the show’s 30th anniversary. The activation recreates iconic sets so visitors can chill in Monica’s apartment, relax in the Central Perk coffeehouse, and kick back in Chandler and Joey’s black lazy‑boy recliners; fans can even reenact Ross and Rachel’s wedding scene and bust through the chapel doors. Beyond photo-ready moments, the experience includes behind‑the‑scenes displays of production materials, props and costumes, is all-ages accessible, and follows a five-year touring run that visited 24 cities across eight countries and a permanent location in New York City, with London and this Las Vegas site serving as anchored activations." - Ryan Slattery Ryan Slattery Ryan Slattery has visited over 70 countries and has written about his experiences both in the air and on the ground. "A weekend celebration marking the 25th anniversary of the sitcom brought a large, immersive replica of the show’s coffee shop to Las Vegas in October—featuring a roughly 700-square-foot replica and additional fan-focused displays (including a LEGO interpretation)—capitalizing on the series’ on-screen Las Vegas storyline and nostalgia." - Susan Stapleton

The entire experience was absolutely over-the-top AMAZING — like, jump-up-and-down, grin-until-your-face-hurts amazing! Even my friend, who has only ever seen maybe two or three episodes of Friends in her whole life, had the BEST time. That’s how good it is! You can take all the photos you want (and trust me, you’ll want a LOT), plus they offer professional pictures at the end. The staff is so sweet they’ll even grab your phone and become your personal paparazzi. Iconic behavior. What I loved most was how relaxed it felt — no rushing, no herding — you can explore every inch of the museum/set at your own pace and really soak it all in. The interactive elements are so fun you can’t help but feel like you just stepped into the show. Huge shoutout to Stephanie D — she was a total superstar! Truly the gold standard of what every fan-experience employee should be. Warm, fun, helpful, and just all-around wonderful. We’ll definitely be back — especially as they expand! This place is a MUST for Friends fans and even soon-to-be fans. 😊❤️

No one told you this life was gonna be this fun! Cool Pop culture museum that made my wife, a die hard Friends fan, lose her mind! Literally! The staff was fun, the sets were cool, and most importantly they were not pushy selling things! Like they encouraged you to take your own pics! The gift shop was cool and the staff, they showed me how sad my life really is with their kindness and let me feel what it was like to have "Friends" for the experience.... Just be careful, because Google Maps tries to say the entrance is on the outside of MGM, when it is inside! So take a break, yes you were on a Break RACHEL, get over it and take a trip here. A must for any Friends fan, or a cool experience for pip culture junkies.

The set was pretty dang cool! It had a lot of areas you could move about and feel as part of the show with props and stage areas to act out scenes. The staff was so kind, energetic and VERY helpful with taking photos with your cell and their camera. They do have video cameras set up to take pictures and videos with professional cameras as well as your cellphones. They even had baskets to put your belongings so you could take good photos. The only complaint was we felt rushed. We were a group of 4 and the first area the girl told us we needed to move on cause the next group was coming. We had the VIP package and really didn't get to look about each room. From start to finish we were in the whole experience under 40 minutes in all rooms and interactions. Overall we would do it again, as the guy said they were going to expand with more areas. The photos they took, kinda shitty we paid $25 for the digital download and only one person could dload them which means quality would dwindle sharing via text.

Google
A great experience for any Friends fan! Sooooo many photo ops you'll die of happiness. The staff was wonderful and happy to take pics for us, but you also get a QR code to have them take pics you can purchase. Kind of a neat feature. Happy I found this and did it!

Stopped in to kill time while waiting for our dinner reservation. It was a fun nostalgic trip down memory lane. Friends was one of our favorite TV shows and we watched it a lot growing up. It was cool to see the sets and scenes from one of our favorite childhood shows. If you’re a friends fan I would definitely recommend this little experience.

Google
I absolutely loved this experience, I've been a big Friends fan forever and it felt so surreal seeing props and sets from the show. It was fairly quiet when we got there so we didn't feel rushed at all, we had time to look around properly at both the sets and all the photos/info on the walls and get all of our photos. The staff were super friendly and chatty and instantly offered to take pics on our phones which turned out great. The gift shop was quite small but we were still able to find a couple items that we wanted to buy.

Google
This was overall the best experience I had while in Vegas. From the entrance to the end the staff was amazing. Did the walkthrough by myself, but that didn’t matter the staff helped with photos on my cellphone and they came out great. I will visit again when they have more in store… Walking through reliving a time that seems so long ago for me was captivating and very rewarding. Someone named Lay or Alisha I’m definitely spelling it wrong was the best person around. She offered many photos for me and different poses in the Girls apartment. Very energetic. Thank you will definitely visit again.

Google
This was my favorite part about visiting Vegas. The attention to detail on all the sets was incredible! My husband got us the VIP passes so we could go at any time and we weren’t rushed. The entire staff was very accommodating and took all the photos we wanted (professional and with our phones). They even suggested different poses and were extremely friendly. I will absolutely go back after they add more. Which they said they would be. The only thing I was disappointed in was the size of the gift shop. It was more of a gift “wall” than shop. Most of the items there you could get on Amazon. There were exclusive items that you could only buy there but a very, very small selection.

Yelp
The experience was so over the top amazing! Even my friend, who had never seen more than two or three episodes of "Friends" had a great time! There are professional pictures that you can purchase at the end AND you can take all the pictures you want with your own camera and the staff will even take pics of you with your device. You are given as much time as you want to explore the entire museum/set and we loved the interactive elements. We especially loved Stephanie D - she was the perfect example of how every employee of a fan experience should be and so much more! Will definitely be back - especially as they plan on expanding :))

Yelp
Located at the MGM Grand is this tourist rip-off and overpriced attraction. *If you go, take all the pics you want with YOUR phone or camera. Make them do it too, that's what they're there for. Even if the staff there aren't welcoming or warm about taking the photo with your camera. The only one who was actually helpful and encouraging to take pictures on your phone was MJ. By the time we got to the end, we didn't know it was allowed to take pics with your phone at the QR coded locations. So we missed out on photo opportunities because at the end, the photos weren't free. It's a piece of trash exhibit looking to take your entrance fee money and again at the end for photos taken through the QR code. Extra star is for the $7 off locals discount. When you get to the end, and if you want to purchase any of their photos but didn't like the shot they took, go back and re-take it.

Yelp
This is a must do if you are a big friends fan. I got a little emotional because Chandler (Matthew Perry) was my favorite and going in. There was surreal . A couple of things to note: 1. They give you a card to take your photos at the end so you can view and purchase if you want to. They do give you one digital download free which was pretty nice 2. The staff will take photos of you via your choice of photo device. Which was nice of them 3. You can take unlimited photos, which we did. Just an overall great experience for friends fans

Yelp
Located inside the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It is pricey due to tourist but locals get a discount. I missed the one they had in LA at the Lakewood Mall so not sure how it compares. You can purchase when you get there or you can do it in advanced. It's a cool experience you go through rooms of stuff from the show if you're fan you'll know. You can take lots of pics although they give you a card with a QR code for at the end of the experience if you want to purchase those pics however you can have the staff take pics with your phone or camera they are there for you I however missed a few pics that I didn't take with with phone. Overall it was a cool experience the staff here was great and helpful. I would recommend it if the price was cheaper but it's Vegas so tourists will pay the Vegas costs.

Yelp
As a huge fan of Friends, getting to visit the Friends Experience was nothing short of surreal. My friends actually kidnapped me and surprised me with this amazing adventure, and I still can't believe it was real! Walking onto the set felt like stepping right into Central Perk and the apartments -- every detail was spot on. Seeing so many nostalgic items from the show brought back a bunch of memories and made me feel like I was part of the gang. From the iconic orange couch to the quirky props, it was like reliving some of my favorite moments with Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe. This experience is a must for any Friends fan. It's not just a museum or exhibit; it's a full-on immersion into the world of one of the greatest sitcoms ever. Huge thanks to my friends for making this dream a reality--best surprise ever! Could I BE any happier? Nope!

Yelp
The Friends Experience is located in The District at MGM Grand. There are signs leading to the attraction from the casino floor to The District. General admission price for adult ticket is $45. Tickets can be purchase online or in person. For walk-ins, there's a self-service ticketing kiosk onsite. They do offer local discounts for Nevada residents ($37), as well as for military and first responder. Valid ID is required upon arrival. Children age 3 and younger don't need a ticket when accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Friends Experience begins at the waiting room. There's a total of nine exhibits, each one has a unique and memorable theme and there are several photo ops. The preroom leads to the famous orange couch and fountain, followed by the wedding chapel doors, and a replica of Joey wearing Chandler's clothes. There's a nice backdrop of Joey and Chandler's apartment, and they also included The Pivot. I love Monica and Rachel's apartment, the kitchen reminds me so much of the 90s! My favorite exhibit is the Friends Facts! It's a fun filled trivia of Friends. Did you know? The picture frame from Monica's apartment sold for $52,000. There's also scenes dubbed in another language and the best part is how many times the phrase were repeated like "How you doin'?", "I Know!", "Oh. My. Gawd", "We were on a break". The last exhibit is the coffee shop at Central Park with the orange couch. It's such a beatiful setting with bright and vibrant colors, and there's someone available to help take photo ops, the staff member is very cheerful and made it a relaxing and welcoming place! There's also a guitar where you can re-enact Phoebe's Smelly Cat Jingle, it's so nice! At the end, you can view the professional photo ops and make purchase. Personally, it took approximately one hour to complete, it's well worth the experience with family and friends!

Yelp
If you're a fan, this is so much fun. Recreation of the main sets, lots of attention to detail. There are some memorabilia from the show such as outfits and the turkey with sunglasses. But mostly it's immersive photo ops. If you buy the photo pass you get staff taken pics you can print and download. You can also take all the pics or videos you want in the exhibits. The staff tells you to take all the time you want and they're all pretty friendly. You can tell a few are fans and a few are just doing their job. If you want to take your time exploring, go on a weekday or non peak. And buy tickets in advance. It was a bit pricey for what we got - about 40 minutes and some fun pics, for around $160 for two of us. We're super fans though, so it's fun. I think other Vegas experiences offer more value for the dollar though.

Yelp
It was an okay experience but I didn't go in with too high of expectations. Staff are very pushy about those photo cards and if you refused, you'd get attitude about it or if they had to take a photo with your phone. They claim photos are "professionally" don't but it's just cameras hanging in the ceiling or walls. The replica of Joey and Chandlers apt was a bit too small. Monica and Rachel's apt was a good size and cute it was recreated. Doesn't make sense to group people when you prefer to wait until everyone is gone from your photos. They should take parties in but allow 5 mins gap in between for decent pictures.

Yelp
The Friends Experience is located in The District area of the MGM Grand. We enjoyed our experience, but I'd encourage you to keep your expectations in check. There's a few props and costumes. But this is mainly a series of photo ops. Most of those are taken by staff on venue cameras. Obviously you'll have the opportunity to purchase them at the end. I was pleased with my advance purchase of the full photo package, which gave me a print of one photo from each photo station and all digital copies. Without that package, you're really missing out. It took us about 45 minutes to get through everything. I wouldn't say this is a bargain, but we had a good experience.

Yelp
Super cute set up! They nailed a lot of the details for sure! I wish they let you roam around freely by yourself, but there are crew members at every "station" ready to take your picture. Overall I would recommend specifically if you're a FRIENDS fan.

Yelp
Located in the MGM Grand helpful staff. Prices vary depending on the day of the week. I went Thursday and the total was $39 for two people. Picture friendly

Yelp
This is a tourist trap. As the most die hard Friends fan in my immediate vicinity (admittedly only a neighborhood of about 40 people), I was disgusted by this overpriced joke. 1. They give you a QR code that has to be scanned in each room. This is so the staff will take your photo. Although they tell you the employees will take pictures using your phone, they don't or they take such horrible photos that you'll immediately delete them. 2. The place isn't finished. For example, there's no "Aux Buttes Chaumont Jouets" painting in Monica's apartment. The couch in the guys apartment isn't screen accurate. 3. The venue photography has the crappiest CGI backgrounds I've ever seen. AI can do a better job. 4. The gift shop is smaller than the ATM vestibule that Chandler was trapped in with Jill Goodacre. If you love Friends, you're going to go to this. But if you're a casual fan or not interested in the series, save yourself the ridiculously overpriced fan service or just know that you'll pay another $40 over admission just to get high school senior photos with very little effort.

Yelp
Wow, what a joy! It was just pure fun. Everyone was so kind. We took loads of our own pics. The staff was so sweet and helped us take pics with our phones as well. We bought a photo package too cause all the pics came out great. The lighting was flattering! Everything was recognizable and lots of friends jokes weaved throughout. You can get your own hugsy at the end.

Yelp
Are you a Friends fan? If you are, this is definitely a place to visit! I was so excited when I heard this experience was available. I love that they offer Vegas a local a discount. It is located in the MGM & you will see signs that will lead you to the experience. I recommend buying the tickets prior to visiting. You can find them on their site. You are greeted when you come in (great customer service). They scan your tickets and you're led into a room where they have an introduction and tell you a little more about the experience. After the introduction, you walk through different scenes from the show. I really loved how the displays were just like the scenes from the show. You can take pictures and videos. You can also take pictures of yourself in the showrooms. You get a free pivot photo. PIVOT! I honestly had so much fun here. I am definitely coming back and this time taking my sissy & mom because they are also HUGE fans of FRIENDS!! 5/5 stars for sure.

Yelp
Not what we were imagining it was going to be. They rush you thru even though no else is there. They don't want you enjoying it and touching things or taking your own pics even tho they tell you before you enter you can use your own phone to take photos. All they are concerned with is this stupid photo card they give you so they can track you through the exhibit. The Wedding room doesnt even make sense and no one tells you that you should grab the face tats in the gift shop before going in so you can recreate the vegas wedding scene. No props, nothing is really from the show just another vegas let down for too much money. And get better people to work the rooms!!!! ROBOTS!! Let people enjoy the experience.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the show friends so much! This is honestly a great place to visit and get pictures taken from certain episodes of the show. The staff is great they take pictures for you if needed
google avatar

Alanah N.

Yelp
I've never seen the show but I went with friends who love the show. I really enjoyed my time! I thought it was a lot of fun and my friend who's seen the show loved it and thought everything looked accurate. You can take your own photos or have staff take pics for you, and then we purchased the QR photos as well.
