The Gaff

This is such a great little pub in the heart of Waltham. Moody Street is coming up in the world and The Gaff really adds to charm. Come in and enjoy a space with dark paneled walls, a small local art gallery hanging up and to the left of the entrance and a chalkboard with lists of drafts and bottles. Fresh popcorn (that's not too greasy) is a nice touch when you first arrive as well as the smile from the fab bar maid. The food menu is short and sweet and the limited menu helps to provide fresh fab food. The food that come out of a 10 x 10 kitchen is absolutely delicious and all of us (2 kids + 2 adults) ate everything! We will be back from another family meal or a night with friends to come for drinks. It's worth noting that if your planning to come with family you better get here the moment it opens. There are only 2 tables that can accommodate 4+ people.

My friends picked this place for us to grab drinks for my birthday and it was an awesome choice! We each got completely different beers and they were all delicious. The bartender was nice and the popcorn was great We'll definitely be coming back!

This place has a really good vibe and selection of drinks. I also like their wings and small bites.

One of my favorite bars of all time. Fantastic, unique beer selection. I'm more of an IPA guy but they have some really interesting classic beers here. Wings are top-notch, with a creamy style buffalo sauce. Bartenders and vibe are excellent. They have free popcorn!

I simply love the place. It is very laid back, sometime there is live music (check on the site whwn available) the beer is great. Do not have the appetizers! The sandwich (pork one, forgot the name) is really good. The hot dog sandwich was great as well (you are thinking hot dog but it is more than that!) If you are not going to drink beer with this type of atmosphere (fun, rocky, indie) then this is not the place for you

Beer list; great. Service; solid. Food; chicken sandwich is solid, fries are alright but not shoestring, the bacon cheesy fries have very little beer cheese and what tastes like shaker bacon bits instead of the candied bacon listed on the menu. Portion sizing for the starters were very small for the price

Nice, cozy little pub. Not a big place, but a fun atmosphere. Bartenders are friendly and nice to chat with. Great beer selection with some rotating beers. Menu is somewhat limited (nothing really for vegetarians) but has good bar food. Couple of tvs and high top tables to watch the game.
