The GALLIARD

We’re in Istanbul, in the Maslak area — Vadistanbul Mall, right in front of the fountains. We had dinner at GALLOARD Restaurant, and it was an amazing experience. There’s a staff member named KORAY — honestly, his service is outstanding! He’s incredibly friendly and welcoming, truly exceptional. 👌🇹🇷

Servings are generous and more importantly, even though I did not personally enjoy every dish I've tried the 5 times I've been here, the standard of food here is consistently high. MOST importantly, absolutely hands down the best san sebastian cheesecake I've had in Istanbul by far - better than Viyana, better than anywhere else I've tried having lived in Istanbul for a year trying restaurants and cafes everywhere. The chocolate sauce is rich, bittersweet and just the right texture, unlike the cloyingly sticky and sweet milk chocolate sauce you get elsewhere. The photographs I shared are the ones I liked the most - the french onion soup, salmon ceviche-like starter, the beef tenderloin which came with an AMAZING sauce and lovely bitter roasted greens and of course, the san sebastian.

I was disappointed with the food here. We ordered Penne Arrabbiata, but the taste was strange — almost like fish. It seemed like they might have used the same oil for multiple dishes, which really affected the flavor. Definitely not what I expected from a simple pasta dish. I hope they pay more attention to food quality and freshness in the future.

Pretty hot and miss. Order manti that was great but the salad was awful. Fast service. Friendly staffZ ok prices for a AVM. Lots of seating inside and out. Mixed audience of guest. But doesn’t feel over busy. Would probably try something else next time.

Normally, we eat at this restaurant if we visit Vadi Istanbul mall. Food is delicious and well done. At experience yesterday was not as usual. One of the staff didn’t take take proper care. We may not go back to the restaurant unfortunately. In addition, sound was toooo high in my opinion. On the other hand, as said, food is very good, we tried steak, sea food risotto and burger.

I was living near this place so I used to go there too much, it is my favorite restaurant in the Vadistanbul AVM. All the food is perfect as for me, I don’t only liked breakfasts much. Service is always on the good level what makes the atmosphere very comfortable.

I cant say i found the food very delicious because of very less salt.. I tried barbeque chicken pizza and chichken with mushroom&fries. But I really like the stuff, they are very helpful and Galliard has amazing non alcoholic drinks too, you should try berry something( I forget the name sorry). Thank you for good service. I will give another chance to try another food from your menu:)

Went on a date at Galliard to enjoy an amazing meal in Vadi Istanbul. For drinks, we ordered the Virgin Bloody Mary and Mojito. The bloody mary was spicy and fresh. The mojito was zesty. For starters, we ordered Crispy Manti, Turkish meat dumplings pan-fried topped with tomato sauce, and yogurt. The Manti was exquisite and soft. The tomato sauce gave it an amazing touch. I recommend it. For the main dishes, we ordered the Seafood Risotto and Rib Eye Steak. The seafood risotto had jumbo shrimp, mussels, and squids. It was creamy, and light, and the tomato give it Umami. The steak was cooked to medium done, it was tender and juicy. Came with mushrooms, fries, and Demi-glace sauce. For dessert, we ordered the San Sebastian cheesecake, it was custardy and light. Served with chocolate sauce. And it finish our dinner we ordered Turkish coffee, it was okay. The staff were friendly, fast and spoke English. The whole experience was pleasant and pretty close to perfection.
