"Since 2020 The Garden served as a queer community staple, hosting drag brunches, dance parties, and community events before closing on Saturday, September 21. Created by local gay nightlife fixture Eduardo Cordova, the bar featured an outdoor patio with fire pits for nighttime lounging and an interior centered on a wraparound bar with a white stone countertop; crystal chandeliers hung over green velvet booths and bar stools. On weekend mornings drag performers roamed the room while visitors dined on tiramisu French toast, smoked salmon Benedicts, and enjoyed bottomless mimosas, and in the evenings the bar poured sweet, pastel-colored cocktails while go-go dancers created a high-energy atmosphere. Cordova stepped away last year to open Queen Bar Las Vegas, and current owner Edith Castillo announced the closing on Instagram and hosted a farewell party on September 21 after four amazing years." - Janna Karel

Our server was amazing though being during Christmas break they where out of a few menu items he offered other options & was very knowledgeable! The food was 10 out of 10 amazing ... there fried Brussels sprouts ... AMAZING! Chris the owner, was a sweetheart... they have an event space that I have seen them use many times as a themed restaurant & it was decked out as Frostys for Christmas... this place is Family Friendly, & fun with the the taste of quality that cant be beat I strongly recommend this place & can't wait to go back!

First time here, found it on maps on the way home from a trip to Port Stanley and I can see we are so happy we came. Quaint place, rustic and the proper volume music playing. Our server Josh was the best. He knows his stuff, answered all our questions and when we chose his favourites on our own the smile was the indication we made the right choice. The Halumi cheese appetizer was out of this world. Perfectly done Halumi cheese with mixed greens, warm honey and chili flakes. A must if you eat here. The Garden bowl salad was a bomb of flavours. Tahini, balsamic vinaigrette roasted brussel sprouts, quinoa, sauteed chick peas on a bed of mixed greens. Phenomenal. The GOAT burger with potato and bacon soup was also excellent. Pink centre and the soup was definitely homemade. To finish it off the Carrot cake. Vegan and you could not tell. Everyone was fantastic and we will be back.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE COMING HERE! It's genuinely an amazing experience with the kindest staff. And don't forget the good, it always leaves you satisfied and wanting more for such a good price! I will rant about this place all day long. Great for friends, date nights or even after dinner drinks! (And tonight, a big thank you to our server Ashley for being so sweet and welcoming!)

The Garden Restaurant in Chatham is an absolute hidden gem. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, with a cozy, garden-inspired vibe that makes every visit feel special. Their patio has to be one of the best in southwestern Ontario. The food was fantastic; fresh, full of flavour, and plated beautifully. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and what an incredible human! You can feel his passion in every detail of the experience. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Whether you’re local or just passing through, do yourself a favour and stop by. You won’t regret it. Five stars without a doubt. Can’t wait to be back!

Went to Frostys on King. So much fun. Perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit. The holiday drink menu is extensive, with lots of fun options. The menu is limited due to the size of the venue no doubt, but food was excellent.

This place sits just off the river in Chatham, Ont and the patio is just perfect. The staff are amazing, food is great, and we just keep coming back every few months. The prices are good and the food is plentiful so definitely a must to try and enjoy the as you sit back, enjoy your meal and sip on a cold beverage of your liking.

We lived in Chatham nearly 8 years ago and hadn't been back in a while. We wanted a place to have a nice lunch and we certainly found it. Everything was fantastic — the location and the patio, the ambience, the food and the service! Shout out to Jamie for honoring girl code and hooking a sister up with an emergency hair tie! We'll definitely be back!

Really lovely place on their outdoor patio overlooking the river. The atmosphere could not be better. Only managed a Caesar Salad with chicken but husband had a meatloaf dinner which was good. The service was great- very nice waitress. All in all, one of the better restaurant dinners we have managed in our week's trip to Ontario.
