Three New Outdoor Bars Bring a Sea of Seats to Philly’s Waterfront - Eater Philly

"This new 100-seat beer garden on Race Street Pier stars snacks and draft brews from Mainstay Independent Brewing Company. A mini-beer truck parked on-site pours pilsners and lagers from the Philly brewery. Colorful sail installations help shade seated guests from the sun. Open Wednesday through Friday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon to 10 p.m." - Tierney Plumb

I love how much food they give you for the price, the drinks are fantastic, and everything has been delicious. The staff has been very friendly to me, and I adore the music selection. From playing Prince to The Flaming Lips, this place made me feel right at home and was one of the first places I’ve been to when moving to the Philly area. We got several drinks, an appetizer, two main dishes, and even desert! It was great to spend an evening here

PROS: The space is beautiful, definitely check it out. It’s very relaxing and boasts an incredible view of the water and the bridge (in the summer at least). CONS: The food is average, only one real vegetarian meal option and it’s disappointing considering the high price and small portion. They sometimes have people checking your bags before entering and don’t allow outside food or drink. NOTES: Beers are all $7 (as of August 2022). Would love to see more veggie options especially for Mexican food which is too insultingly easy to not make vegetarian lol

Had excellent tacos and a beer. Will definitely go back. Easy to order and great space. Family friendly too.

Honestly, great spot to eat if you want a vibe close to the river. The food is good, and the setup is really worth it. The watermelon salad is EXCELLENT.

Nice place with a great variety of beer on tap, cocktails, and even liquors. Especially enjoyed the Bees Knees with honey whiskey. Perfect place for some after-work or weekend drinks in a relaxing atmosphere.

Good spot, other positive reviews are accurate. Stayed until closing and they said “kitchen’s closing in 5” and 5 later they went table to table screaming (not exaggerating) at folks to leave. We all thought it was an open space and that you just couldn’t make new orders 😂
