I’m so excited to find this restaurant. It checks all the boxes for vegan entrees, care taken for allergies when preparing food, sustainable practices and a friendly clean happy environment. They have wonderful, delicious options for everyone. I’m with my non vegan boyfriend and he’s very pleased with his entree. I ordered the curry and he ordered the green goddess. Both were very delicious. I am going to get the tiramisu to go. Never had it buts it’s vegan as well. They offer beer on tap and mimosas for breakfast. I would highly recommend stopping in if you are in the Charleston area. It’s well worth the trip. I was served by Jason who was very kind and knowledgeable. They offer online take out for those needing a quick meal. Check it out.

Came in to check out this spot in downtown Summerville. Street Parking. Cute lil spot. All kinds of doors. Lunch in the sunroom was good. Good healthy side options. Good food. Flies keeping things lively! Pics of salmon w/ M&C & kale & a Turkey wrap. Will be back to try some other dishes. 😃

The Gathering in Summerville, South Carolina was a delicious experience. The food was wonderful and I look forward to going there again. The staff was friendly. The food was fresh. We sat outside on a beautiful day...it was a win, win, win!!!

Just wonderful! Brought my vegan wife here and options were plenty. I also tried gluten free macaroni and it surprised me. We will definitely be back.

So glad to have found this place for lunch while in town for a work trip! Fresh, tasty & healthy fare. Helpful, kind staff. Lovely indoor/outdoor seating area as well, filled with tons of natural light. Free parking garage right next door too.

The BEST gluten free food I’ve ever had!! As someone with celiac, it was such a joy to have so many options to choose from and everything was cooked to perfection. This was the first time I’ve ever had mac and cheese at a restaurant and it was SUPERB.

Surprisingly good with nice fresh veggies, ordered four plates today. (1)The green goddess bowl was my fav, served warm, with a very nice balanced flavor. (2)Teriyaki bowl with chicken was tasty, if a tiny bit salty (still less salty than all the local hibachi places), the mushrooms were the best part. (3)The avocado toast had fresh tomatoes and a lot of capers. (4)The steak wrap was served cold, the horseradish was good, it came with soup or salad (tomato soup pictured). All and all we would visit again. It was a bit pricey, as the proteins are an add-on to the bowls, but worth it for the fresh veggies and general good quality/flavor. The indoor seating was a bit stuffy today in the cooler rainy weather since the AC was not running and they did not have any fans.

Summerville needed a place like this! Finally feels like I have a place to go when I'm trying to be more health conscious. The tomato soup tasted like it was just out of their garden. The wrap was a bit dry and could have used a bit more sauce. The sante Fe bowl was super flavorful but that shrimp were overcooked. First time here and I'm definitely going to be back.

Yelp thought this place wasn't open on Sunday, but thankfully it was. Never having diverted to Summerville before, I was surprised by how crowded the area and its parking was, but when I got here, it wasn't hard to find a table in their covered patio. They warned me they were out of stock on some meat items, which is fine by me. If anything, I wished I'd taken the option to add tofu to my bowl. But even without, it was an intriguing creation, with black rice, chickpeas, mushrooms, avocado, and various other things going on, with some savory sauce. Tea was available in several sweet and unsweet varieties and was a reasonably good bet. I wouldn't have struggled to find a half dozen other things worth trying, and finding a healthy, vegetarian-friendly option in this location was clutch for me.

This is a great place to come have lunch or brunch on Saturday. Ambience is perfect, customer service is great, efficient and quick. And last, but not least the food here has been fantastic and this is the second time I've been here now. highly recommend this new restaurant in Summerville.

If you are looking for vegan and non-vegan definitely try this restaurant in the center of Summerville. Friendly faces good customer service and I had a delicious dinner. They have outdoor seating as well, which is what I like.

I am so glad we found this gem in downtown Summerville! We needed a place like this. Healthier options including vegan, gluten free, veggies, meat and much more! The service was great, the ladies at the front helped me make my decision and I went with the Buddha bowl with tofu. The flavors were good and it was very light and refreshing. I love the outdoor seating option and they have a little sunroom to sit in.

So glad that a healthy alternative is available in Summerville. You order at the front counter and then your food is brought out to your table. We sat outside and enjoyed people watching but the seating inside looks adorable. I ordered the panang curry with chicken and it was amazing and kept me full all day. My friend got the green goddess and was very pleased as well. Don't let the price deter you- you could easily spend just as much for a meal elsewhere that is frozen or fried and here it is fresh and healthy!!!

The Gathering isn't new but new for the Summerville area. I love that it's close to my job. I was able to walk and sat outside for lunch. When you walk in, you are greeted with the cashier and you place your order with her and she will give you a number. I love the decor and the ambiance is really welcoming and immediately put me in a happy mood with the bright colors . You can dine outside or inside the building. I ordered the Teriyaki bowl with Salmon, a fruit cup and Mac and cheese. Their menu is on the pricey side ... and I did enjoy the fruit but it wasn't much in the bowl for $6 and the mac and cheese didn't quite hit the mark for me. But I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl with salmon. It was tasty and the veggies were good. I will probably not get the sides again but it was nice.

I'm so excited for this restaurant to be in Summerville! Called ahead and ran to pick up lunch, I got the veggie chopped salad and my husband got the turkey wrap. Both were incredible and I can't wait to try more of the menu items! It's rare for me to find a restaurant where I'm not limited to one or two options.

Closed! Went by on Saturday (12/30) about 1:15 and the placed was shut and closed. No sign saying they were closed when they were supposed to be open.

Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price. Best salad ever, but at $20 it is a bit more than I like to spend for a salad lunch with water for a drink. It is interesting that you have to pay at the counter inside and then they will bring you your food to a separate inside or outside dining area. But, if you want an additional drink (beer/wine), you have to go back up to the counter to order and pay again. I hope that the business makes it in Summerville. Wonder if the prices will hurt them.

Exactly what Summerville needed! Delicious wholesome food. Lots of flavor, good sized portions and fresh. Yum!!! Warning, eat this way everyday and you might live forever

We went here to try it for lunch as a new restaurant in Summerville. Did not like the ordering system of the congested entryway. Two doors to enter and stand at the counter to order. Also, the amount we paid for the food, I would've thought the serving would have been twice as big. The salad I had was good but it was too little food for too much money!

Stumbled upon this place while exploring downtown Summerville and absolutely loved it. The Green Goddess is delicious, as are the tomato soup, and the Teriyaki bowl. Serving sizes were perfect and service was quick! Love having a local option for something a little more healthy.

Split a chicken BLT and bowl of tomato soup for a light lunch with the husband. It was so good I could have easily eaten a whole by myself!

So we tried this place during Flowertown Festival wanting something healthy but sit down also. I got the Santa Fe bowl with chicken. I was absolutely blown away by the flavor. It was so delicious. You walk in and order at the counter, they give you a number, and then it gets brought out to you. The ladies working up front and serving the dishes are very nice and pleasant. They have indoor and outdoor seating. There are a lot of gluten-free and vegan options as well. It's not noisy and very calming with calm colors. We've been back a few times, and we've gotten draft sour beers on tap...very tasty. This last time, I tried something different with the Buddah bowl...um... I will go back to my Santa Fe. I wasn't a fan, but it wasn't horrible. Wish healthy food wasn't expensive...if you add protein to the bowl, it's close to $20 each... the upside is...it's a nice portion and filling. Welcome to Summerville!!

Have eaten there twice. Very expensive for what you get. Second time, salmon was pre cooked, then microwaved. It was like shoe leather. Sent it back. They cooked it fresh but had to wait a bit which I don't mind but then the rest of my food was ice cold. Not for me. Won't be returning!

I ate there last week! I had the turkey wrap and tomato soup! Both delicious and I'd get it again!

Stopped in for lunch and it was delicious! Highly recommend this cafe. Healthy tasty dishes and super friendly staff!

This is my new favorite spot in Summerville. It's nice to have a healthy option and everything we've had from there has been great. They have great options so always something for everyone and very friendly service. I love their outdoor seating and can't wait to utilize it more this summer.

If I could give negative stars it would be negative 5. The steak was actually precooked pot roast. Mac and cheese was horrible. My wife ordered salmon which looked pre cooked and was was not edible. The Brussels sprouts tasted like they were rotten. Very disappointed as we really need a healthy restaurant in this area.

So excited to have a mostly vegan place (with meat options for those who won't be as excited by this) close to home. Highly recommend the veggie chili. The sea island peas make it special.
