I visit The George Jones on every trip I take to Nashville. My dad used to listen to George Jones when I was a kid, and it makes me feel close to him. Great atmosphere with multiple floors for food, drinks, and listening to music. The rooftop bar has a nice view overlooking the riverfront. The smoked chicken salad was very good, although it is heavy on the chicken, light on the salad.

Roof top bar had excellent live music, open atmosphere and bean bag toss. Great location. Mixed drinks were not great. Beer selection was poor. No itemized receipts provided on drunk purchases. I was also charged two different amounts for buying the same round of drinks without any explanation and when no drinks specials existed.

Great place to go appreciate country music. The restaurant is a bit high priced, but that should be expected for downtown Nashville. The entire place is dedicated to the Legendary George Jones, but that doesn't mean that there isn't plenty of fun for the those who aren't George Jones fans. The decor lends itself to legends of all types the George Jones interacted with throughout his life. The live music was amazing and at times caused you to forget to that they were covering famous songs, they sounded like the real thing. The food was great and it was an awesome time for all!

This is a beautiful building with amazing decor and ambiance. I didn't eat here but came for happy hour, which has amazing prices for this busy and sometimes costly district! Make sure you check it out. The entertainment is also phenomenal. They play a mix of their own work and covers. So talented and enjoyable. The staff is also very nice, casual, and super efficient in taking care of you. I look forward to going back and diving into the George Jones museum and hopefully taking in a concert on the rooftop bar--which has an amazing view, by the way!

Pretty quiet on an early Wednesday afternoon. Still, the music was actually terrific! The guy had a great voice. Good vibe to the place & super friendly staff. Food was equally great. Get the brisket.

Great Nashville dining and entertainment experience. We were seated promptly. We had a reservation, but there wasn't a line so we probably didn't need the reservation. Our server appeared promptly and took our drink orders I ordered unsweet iced tea, and I tasted the iced tea before adding artificial sweetener. Good thing I did because they had actually sweetened both the sweet tea and the unsweet tea. Our server took it back and brought me a glass of water while they made up a batch of unsweet tea. She took our order, and our meals were brought out promptly. I had the chicken wings which were big, juicy and delicious. My wife had pulled pork loaded potato skins, also delicious. My brother-in-law and his wife had brisket sandwiches with fries. They enjoyed their meals. I tasted the fries. They were excellent. The live music was very pleasant, and the decor, which you can see in the pictures, was very nice. The place was clean and neat, and the tables weren't so close together as to be overcrowded. I highly recommend this place.

Such a fun place to visit! The hummus plate was the very best thing I had the entire time I was in Nashville! The music was wonderful as well. There is a lot of space for seating and we didn't have to wait whereas other restaurants had a 45-minute wait. We did end up getting the wrong drink and it was still charged to our bill and the service was a bit slow, but besides that everything was wonderful!

Stopped in here 1st on our night out and headed upstairs to the rooftop. Great views, good drinks but the night we were there the guy up there was bad. It was too slow and mellow for 8pm and they needed to step it up. We headed back downstairs and the band was definitely much better. Ordered the pretzal bites w/beer cheese which were great and another drink. Bartender was super friendly but was cussing every other word and we're just not a fan of that coming from employees even at a honky tonk in Nashville.
