Cozy vibe, welcoming staff, quick service, strong cocktails, good small bites. Perfect for a cocktail date night. They have plenty of cocktails on the menu and 50 Gins to choose from. We got the seasonal cocktails 🍹 and Mango Cart beer and hey have a seasonal cocktail menu, so great if you want to visit again. We got Potatoes Chips and Crab beignets from small bites. Its a very small dining area, so recommend reservations in advance.

Google
fantastic cocktail bar. all cocktails are $15, so it’s very well priced for chi. you go into the seafood restaurant and ask the hostess to sit downstairs in the gin commission — it’s only open fri and sat. their menu is adorable, with original art of each of the drinks. the staff are welcoming and friendly. will definitely be back.

Came for some pre-dinner drinks and bites for my boyfriend's birthday. The drinks were divine and the beignet bites and pimento spread paired perfectly with our drinks. Alex took phenomenal care of us and had great recommendations and a thorough knowledge of the spirits and their mixes.

Yelp
LOVED the ambiance and drink menu; the bar is beautiful! This space is such a vibe. This is definitely one of the best speakeasies in Chicago even if you don't favor GIN like I do, it's a must visit! The customer service was grand! Bartender helped us choose every cocktail we tried! I'll be back for sure!

Yelp
Are you a fellow gin lover? Then belly up to Lettuce Entertain You's newest bar/speakeasy, an ode to this beloved spirit. Located below Oyster Bah, this intimate and sexy lounge seats about 30. As such, reservations are strongly recommended. Light bites are offered to pair with your cocktails, but don't go expecting full dinner service. Options are limited to tapas such as oysters, crab beignets, blistered shishito peppers, potato chips, oh, and caviar! I'd love to see a dessert or two offered on the menu; this would be a great spot to end the evening sipping on a delicious French 75 while enjoying a crème brûlée. Over 50 gins are offered so you're sure to find an old favorite to whet your whistle or discover a new one. Cocktails are $15. Can't wait to work my way through the entire menu.

Yelp
The service and ambience are immaculate, but the drinks we found were watery. Ordered 5 in total, 5 were watery, perhaps due to being overly shaken. I thought the food was excellent though! Would be willing to try it again.

Yelp
Love, love love!!!!!!! The Gin Commission is a total vibe. If you appreciate a well made cocktail this is an absolute must try. From the staff, service, cocktails and decor this may be my new go to vp tail bar. Table seating and bar seating are offered. We had a reservation and then dined upstairs. The menu for share plates is perfect. It complements the cocktails very well. We will be coming back! A huge shout out to the entire staff for their amazing service.

Yelp
Nautical ambience was very aesthetic and hospitality was amazing from the "commission" tasters at the beginning of the experience to the warm hand towels. The commission drink at the beginning was so good and had gin and chamomile. The drinks that came after were all pretty decent and the menu is fairly large at 20 drinks including several classics. Sadly the grilled bread conserva came out cold :( not sure if that is how it is normally served, but did not enjoy the hardness of However the highlights of the night were the beignets and the red snapper cocktail. Cheers!

Yelp
If you love gin and James Bond, check out this marvelous little secret. Every drink is beautiful and delicious and the space is warm and intimate. We loved our waiter who walked us through the drinks and the appetizers are a delectable sidecar.

Yelp
I read about this lower level/speakeasy cocktail bar a while ago and they had me at "Gin". Tucked below Quality Crab and Oyster Bah, I finally made it there after an aborted attempt to enter (they are only open Friday and Saturday currently). After making a reservation via Tock, we checked in and by the time we made ourselves downstairs, we were warmly greeted by the host and shown our table. The printed menu (THANK YOU!!) was classically illustrated with the cocktails and I honestly could not choose which one to have - a classic martini with blue cheese stuffed olives? (sure, but it was almost 10pm and that would have spelled trouble), their seasonal Gin and Tonic (Yes! "Honey, you order that and I'll have some..."), South Side?, The Last Word? (When was the last time you saw that on a menu??), but finally, I settled on an Aviation. Perfectly balanced and excellent. There is a small menu for bites between sips and they were all great. The service was empeccable led by Kevin Bratt. A true gentleman and excellent host. Can't wait to come back

Yelp
My husband and I have been twice and really enjoyed our visits both times. The drinks are incredibly well made. The menus rotated a bit in between visits, but we've loved every drink we've tried. The gin and tonics in particular are very good! The staff is very friendly and helpful in selecting a drink. We also really liked the oysters!

Yelp
A super cool speakeasy! Great drinks, strong drinks, with a cute Northeastern Marina/yacht club vibe.
