The Girl And The Chicken - Review - Burbank - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"This casual rotisserie chicken spot in Burbank has a name that sounds like a children’s book and serves chicken combos with sides like turmeric chimichurri rice, kale slaw, and hummus, along with bowls and wraps in red or green tortillas. The grain bowls remind us of the ones from The Chicken Shop in Newport Beach—and if the taste matches the resemblance, we’d call that a win. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Cathy Park

Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The flavors were tasty, healthy, and perfectly balanced. The hummus was creamy, the chicken had a great flavor. The space itself is cute bright, modern, and has that clean Mediterranean aesthetic that makes you want to stay awhile. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for a hearty, healthy meal

Had a quick lunch with a handful of girlfriends today. The restaurant itself is so adorable. I love the interior design and overall vibes. They were able to quickly get us our food. The food itself was super delicious. Everything tasted very fresh. I was burnt out eating the same thing over and over, so it's nice to have such a healthy and refreshing option for a quick lunch. I ordered the 1/2 chicken with two sides. The chicken was very tender and flavorful. The side were very generous portions. They also have great iced teas.

I had seen a video on Instagram and wanted to check it out for myself. My first time here. A little busy but was acknowledged. There was only 1 person in the front. I didn't get his name, but must say, definitely knows what he's doing. He was taking phone orders, taking orders there, serving the dishes, helping with to go orders. He was great, attentive even though he was doing several things. The place was clean. Quiet in a casual dining. Some music was playing softly. I must say that even though that they have a short Mediterranean menu, it's nice to have flavorful healthy food in Burbank. I loved that they have many to go orders which means that the food is always fresh. To me, that's a big indication of always having fresh food being served. Street metered parking only available, but the delicious food and the attention to detail is totally worth it! When I arrived, I was already hungry. So my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I ordered The Girl & The Gaucho bowl (rotisserie chicken, hummus, chimichurri turmeric rice, sauteed kale, sweet potatoes, roasted corn, garbanzo beans, shirazi salad, avocado, aleppo pepper, with chimichurri dressing). I also ordered the Quarter combo (quarter rotisserie chicken - I opted in for dark meat) comes with 2 sides and a sauce. My sides were sweet potato and beets, and seasoned fries. Delicious. My drink was a topo chico.

Google
The Girl & The Chicken is my go-to spot for healthy, flavorful food! Their wraps are my absolute favorite — loaded with juicy, flavorful rotisserie chicken, fresh ingredients, and the perfect balance of healthy and delicious. You can really taste the quality in every bite, and their sauces take everything to the next level. It’s hard to find a spot that feels wholesome and satisfying, but this place nails it. Friendly staff, quick service, and a fresh, elevated vibe — highly recommend!

Okay Girl and Chicken is my new favorite place! I walked by with my fiancé on our way to lunch in the lovely area of Toluca Lake and decided we had to stop by and take a look at the menu! We went in and the owner was super nice - he explained it was Mediterranean style food with Armenian spices. Color me intrigued! We got the Guacho and Mediterranean wrap to go along with a side of roasted sweet potatoes and beets. The staff even loaded us up on extra sauces! Anyway, when we brought it home we were pleasantly surprised by how FRESH everything was. Most take-out food hurts my tummy but not this! Lots of flavor without the sacrifice of health. If you come by, definitely try out Mediterranean wrap or bowl - they came with these precious pearl peppers that are just so adorable and sweet! Prices also aren’t bad at all if you’re familiar with the Toluca Lake area. Definitely stop by if you’re looking for something fresh and flavorful. 10/10 I will 100% be coming here again!

Google
I picked up lunch at The Girl and the Chicken in Burbank and was really impressed. I ordered the Girl and the Gaucho bowl with a side of fries. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The fries were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside (just how I like them). The bowl itself was a huge portion, so definitely great value for the price. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something tasty and satisfying!

Google
First time going there, when entered, no one welcomed us, we sat down , I saw in the menu we can order online, I thought maybe everyone should order online here, but apparently I was wrong and the waitress was not happy we ordered online but wanted to eat it there. The food looks beautiful and colorful, but tasteless. The chicken was not delicious, the best part was french fries which was awesome. In overall, we didn't get any service there, and the food didn't satisfy us, and we no longer come back there.

Google
Had a fantastic meal at this rotisserie spot! The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had that delicious crispy skin that makes it irresistible. Sides were fresh and flavorful, and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend if you’re craving some deliciously healthy comfort food!

Yelp
I had such an amazing experience at Girl and the Chicken. The food was insanely delicious, the chicken along with the roasted sweet potatoes with labneh were so unique and flavorful, unlike anything I've had before. You can really taste the love in their cooking. On top of that, the owner surprised us with a free side of fries, and OMG... they were to die for. Hands down the best fries in the world. Crispy, perfectly seasoned, addictive.. I'd come back just for those alone! Great food, warm service, unforgettable flavors. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
Finally tried The Girl & The Chicken after seeing it on Insta. Mediterranean bowls are high on my list of favorite meals and my dinner tonight was an instant favorite. For added context, I ordered the 'Everyone's Favorite Spice Bowl' for delivery on a rainy night and even though my food showed up almost an hour late (not the restaurant's or driver's fault it was a weather & traffic issue) and even STILL my food was delicious. The rotisserie chicken was juicy and tender, the hummus was light and authentic, and all the ingredients melded well into a perfect dish. I loved how the harissa rice, shirazi salad, kale slaw, roasted cauliflower, pickled onions, crispy garbanzo beans, avocado and Calabrian chili sauce all complemented each other meticulously. It was just the right balance of tastes and textures. I saw in other reviews that people were complaining about portion size but my meal was more than enough and I tend to go big on dinners. I really don't have any criticisms to include, this place is a treat and I look forward to next time. A+

Yelp
A great lunch or dinner location that is a gem of a spot. It's been on my "to try list" and it did not disappoint. It was our first time and we do have some dietary restrictions and the server was so helpful in explaining the menu to us. The location is size-able and can fit small parties. Rhey do have a long communal table if you have 4+ in your party. We each got the make it a combo with a quarter of a chicken and comes with two sides each. We decided to try out the hummus which comes with perfectly seasoned pita chips, the quinoa salad, and their sweet potatoes/carrots, beets. Everything was so flavorful and we were surprised at how generous the portions were. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy/moist. Our favorite side dish was the beets dish which I 100% percent recommend getting. I love how fresh the ingredients were and can't wait to come back again.

Yelp
Very cute little spot offering plates, salads, bowls, and wraps. I saw this place on Instagram and added it to my list of must tries! We had a the girl in the garden salad (I think) and the spice wrap. Everything was tasty and packed with flavor. The portions are a bit small in comparison to the price, but overall it was good. The service was stood out the most. The young lady at the register was amazing and fun spirited!

Yelp
A great lunch spot with healthy options. tiny restaurant and hopefully you find parking on the street. but the presentation of bowls was great. I got the girl & the gaucho bowl. i loved the crispy garbanzo beans and sautéd kale and my co worker got the mediterranean escape bowl. we both enjoyed our bowls but wish we could have mixed and matched a few items from our bowls. i also wish i would have gotten the spicy sauce instead of the chimchurri sauce. i didn't realize sauce comes on sides so i could pick what i want. Things i will do next time and there will be a next time! portions might look small but trust me, the bowls are filling.

Yelp
I was craving a well balanced meal after a hectic week of work. This place popped up on my fyp as I was scrolling and their chicken immediately caught my attention. I ordered the The Girl & The Gaucho bowl. This bowl came with roasted corn, rice, Aleppo peppers, cucumber/tomato salad, sweet potato, crunchy garbanzo beans, and honestly so much more! The chicken that came on the bowl was so juicy and flavorful, it was honestly the best part of the bowl. Some of the veggies didn't pair too great together, but on their own they were delicious! The crunchy garbanzo beans were such a nice touch of texture! The sweet potato was nice on the side since the pieces were a bit big! I would come back and try different menu items, the chicken is definitely the star of the show and they have so many options to choose from. Please keep in mind it is located on w riverside which can be very busy at times making parking difficult! If you order online you can do a quick pickup and enjoy your meal at home.

Yelp
What sounds like a B level movie title has been one of most flavorful experiences this side of Burbank. Having a mediterranean wrap, I didn't think anything of it, until I bit into a flavorfilled adventure that was enhanced by the accompanying peppers and sauce. Historically, I've hated eating most peppers, but getting to try pearl peppers for the first time, they were delightfully sweet and a wonderful break from all the savory goodness of the chicken. Speaking of which, it was perfectly moist and tender, making an otherwise chilly night a good one. With my meal, I had a passionfruit iced tea that was nicely refreshing too. This spot is a hidden gem for sure, and with friendly staff taking our order, I've found new food to obsess over. Cheers!

Yelp
Half chicken with seasoned fries & sweet potato & beets for sides. The chicken was cooked well and moist. The sides were also good. The fries were crispy and not soggy at all. The sweet potato & beets were a surprise. I don't typically eat it, but I enjoyed it a lot. I also had gaucho wrap which wasn't bad. There's indoor seating and two outdoor tables. Parking can be difficult.

Yelp
Tried the place because it is right by my house and I absolutely loved it. It was very small so not much sitting room and 2 tables outside kind of dinning room style tables inside but, the food is delicious. When I went it was kind of busy but, service was still great. The cashier told me the place has only been open about 5 months and I wish them much success. The chicken was well seasoned and not dry at all. The chimichurri sauce was packed with flavor. The hummus was great. I can't wait to try more items on their menu.

Yelp
The food was so delicious and the staff was so friendly. My bf and I had the "girl and the gaucho bowl" and the "chicken and labneh fire wrap" with two different kinds of fries. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
What a gem of a find! Hubby & I decided to try this place out last Sunday after Church. We arrived before they opened, so we drove around Burbank to kill a little time. All the parking spots were taken on the street out front when we came back to eat. We ended up parking just around the corner on Kenwood St. We were welcomed in by Kenzie as we entered. She was engaging, cheerful, and super helpful from beginning to end. We had an enjoyable Mediterranean lunch! Items we ordered: Sweet Potatoes & Beets - such a tasty bowl of veggies with labneh harrisa sauce and topped with Dukkah, an Egyptian Spice Blend. The Sweet Potatoes are warm while the Beets are cold. Interesting presentation, but the contrast is beautiful visually and taste-wise. Great start! The Chicken & Spice Bowl - this is quite a hearty bowl of goodness! The hummus is smeared along the side of the bowl which looks creative, but having to unsmear it back into a scoop-able pile for my 2 pita chips delayed my scoop n eat process. The bowl is a work of edible art! I loved that it contained various textures & flavors. Quarter Chicken with Garlic Toum & Calabrian Chili Sauces, and includes. We chose Kale & Cabbage Slaw and Adobo Fries - the sides are presented in their own dishes so having only the chicken & sauce on the plate made it look sparse & like not a lot. As a whole, it is more than plenty and is a complete & satisfying meal. The Adobo Fries were crispy and so flavorful! It was a pretty warm day, but I chose a table close to the A/C unit and it brought some needed relief! How was the chicken? It was worth the the long drive to get here! We thoroughly enjoyed our chicken. I liked that mine was sliced in the bowl. Hubby's were bone-in dark meat. The skin wasn't crispy as I was expecting for rotisserie chicken, but maybe it was because we were some of the first customers of the day. All the chicken was moist and tender. If we lived closer, this place would be one of our regular go-to restaurants! Come check them out!

Yelp
Pretty good! Nice to see a good fast casual healthy option in the area. Small space and busy so probably best to takeout. Portions are big!

Yelp
TLDR: 4/5 - The hottest bombshell for work lunch orders! The chicken was amazing, the sides were unique and the service was lovely! Ordered: Quarter Chicken combo (+ 2 sides) Quarter chicken: 5/5 - The worst part about it was the fact that I didn't get more. It was juicy and so well seasoned. Quinoa salad: 3.5/5 - I thought it was fine but it had the potential and I think I know where it was trying to go. It was a little more wet than I was anticipating. Maybe with a kale base would be a good start? Beet and Carrots: 4/5 - You know I'm not a beets person (I'm not sure who is) but I won't shy away from it and I have to say this was a really tasty combo. The presentation of this from a to-go order shocked me? I think there was a good combination of textures and flavors that overall made it a unique side dish. Shoutout to the sauces as well! I'm really excited to go back here and try more. This place is great to add some more variety to the area and we just love when new places taste even better!

Yelp
Overall: beautiful and aesthetic interior with choose your own seating! The staff is so incredibly sweet and was sure to take care of any of our needs with a smile on their face! Their food is also super healthy and delicious, especially their wraps! Even though we were trying to eat healthy, we had to indulge in some fries and let me tell you, zero regrets! The Mediterranean wrap: my favorite item we got, the chicken was saucy and the avocado was insanely fresh!! Such a healthy choice and very filling. They did not skimp out on the chicken! Chicken and labneh fire wrap: another delicious and healthy wrap! It wasn't spicy to me but had the spice flavor, perfect with the pickled veggies. The sauce inside was delicious and it was packed with chicken! Half Chicken: this is a huge portion and for the price, it was such a good deal! Seasoned fries: sooo crunchy and flavorful. We got the zaatar and seasoned fries, both were amazing I can't pick a favorite! The Girl & the Gaucho bowl: super healthy option yet delicious. The roasted chickpeas were super crunchy and eating this with the garlic sauce was chefs kiss!

Yelp
07/28/2025 This is a small place that looks really nice inside. A community table and a few more tables on the side up against the wall. The counter with the utensils is decorative as the counter where you order. Kenzi was very nice and helpful with suggestions. I decided to order the quarter chicken. The question is light meat or dark meat. Always dark because it's more delicious. With all the herbs encrusted on the chicken, every bite was only missing one thing. Garlic Toum as your sauce. Get another one because it goes with everything. You get to pick two sides with this order so I went with seasoned fries with Za'atar and Tumeric Chimichurri Rice. This is one of those places I would come to again so I could try something different on the menu. That way I could pick a favorite.

Yelp
New and happening on the Burbank / Toluca Lake border... The Girl & The Chicken caught my attention on Instagram so I had to check it out. I've been eating healthier these days, more chicken and veggies- so this was perfect timing. We entered and were greeted by Martin, who was super sweet & very helpful. Peter Rabbit & I ordered two bowls, ($16.95 each), the Mediterranean Escape and The Girl & The Gaucho. Peter loved the Med Escape, with tender chicken and spices he could handle. I devoured the "spicier" Girl/Gaucho, which features Chimichurri - used in Argentina / Brazil as an accompaniment to meat. It's made with flat-leaf parsley, chili peppers, garlic, olive oil, oregano & lemon juice. Amazing taste profiles on both bowls in addition to the added interest of roasted garbanzos on mine. The sweet potatoes & beet appetizer with labneh harissa was STELLAR! So wonderfully healthy & tasty. A must-have! Two bowls, two canned waters (La Croix) and a side of sweet potatoes & beets will set you back about $49. I will definitely be back for the rotisserie chicken (very tender!) and delicious combinations. I will be trying everything else on the menu. Thanks to the staff & the kitchen for a fantastic first experience!
google avatar

Jon N.

Yelp
Pretty tasty, fresh food. I got the Girl & the Gaucho Bowl and, except for the shirazi salad (like pico de gallo, gross), i really enjoyed it. Chimichurri really boosted and I am happy I got extra. The space is nice enough spot if choosing to dine in, but limited seating, and serice was friendly, but harried with glut of lunch orders (mostly takeaway). Will definitely return.

Yelp
I came across this restaurant through an instagram post of Shelia who is also a long time yelp elite. My friend and I decided to have dinner here a few days ago and thanks to Shelia's recommendation of this place, we had a great dinner at this restaurant. We ordered and shared the following: Girl & The Gaucho Bowl Rotisserie chicken, hummus, chimichurri turmeric rice, sauteed kale, sweet potatoes, roasted corn, garbanzo beans, shirazi salad, avocado, aleppo pepper, with chimichurri dressing Half Chicken Combo (with two sides and one sauce) With both white and dark meat. Brined and seasoned to perfection for 48 hours. Adobo seasoning. Hummus topped with tomatos, cucumbers, red onions, kalamata olives and feta, served with za'atar pita chips. Sweet Potatoes & Beets Roasted sweet potatoes, beets, labneh harrisa sauce Garlic Toum & Calibrian Chili Smooth garlic toum paired with a robust Calabrian chili sauce. The Gaucho Wrap Sun dried wrap, rotisserie chicken, labneh chimichurri, garlic toum, sauteed kale, caramelized onions, roasted corn, avocado, served with side pearl peppers & chimichurri sauce. For a little over $50, weeks were surprised by how much food was served to us. The portions were very generous. The plating and presentation of each dish was excellent. It's like eating gourmet food without the high price tag. Everything was perfectly cooked and so delicious! And because of the big portions, we had a lot of leftovers which we had to go. Service here was fast and friendly. There's only one person who did everything by herself except the cooking. She took and rang our order, served our food, kept checking on us if we need anything else, always with a smile on her face. Her name is Kenzie. She's the model employee any business owner would be proud of.
google avatar

Raya M.

Yelp
First off, must say that Kenzie was amazing!!! Loved her energy, her compliments, and her service! Aesthetically everything looked amazing, and it tasted just as good as it looked!! I loved the spice bowl, every aspect was made with love and to perfect, and all the flavors were so great together. The Mediterranean wrap was great, but nothing exceptional for me to say "I need to go back here for that wrap", but still a solid choice whenever coming here. The bowls, however, are something I can't find anywhere else so I'll be back to try different flavors. I loved their fries, they are so crunchy, cooked to perfection and so yummy to dip in tzatziki sauce. Only "complaint" is I wish they had more outdoor seating, when I got here I was worried we wouldn't have seats and that we wouldn't get a chance to sit outside. We got so lucky that someone got up, but there were a lot of people waiting after us.
google avatar

Rebecca G.

Yelp
Restaurant was smaller than I thought! Has a very modern design but also has a cozy feel. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table. Service was quick and easy, and our bowls were great. The chicken was juicy, and every item was well seasoned with different flavors. I'd come again!

Yelp
On Friday, I placed an online order for The Girl & the Chicken. I found out about the restaurant thru social media a few weeks earlier. If you know the Toluca Lake area, then you know you have to find street parking. I picked-up the order at around 7:50pm, and it wasn't too busy. The restaurant's ambiance is casual with warm lighting, and they have a couple of tables outside and plenty of seating inside. I ordered the Whole Chicken + 3 Sides (Sweet Potato Fries, Turmeric Chimichurri Rice, Hummus) + 2 Sauces (Chimichurri, Tzatziki) [$48.95] and the Mediterranean Wrap [$14.95] to share with my family. The chicken was tender and fragrant - I could even smell it from outside of the takeout bag. The sauces paired well with the chicken and complimentary pita chips. The hummus had toppings, including cucumbers, olives, tomatoes, whole chickpeas, and more. The rice was a bit oily, but still tasty. Compared to the rice, they were very generous with the fries, which were nicely seasoned. The wrap came with sides of pearl peppers and more tzatziki sauce. The wrap itself was fresh and colorful, but it wasn't super flavorful, so I needed to add sauce to it. I'm glad that I got to try this place, and I may return if I'm in the area!

Yelp
Super tasty and convenient spot right in Burbank/Toluca Lake! The team was super friendly and the inside was clean. Came for lunch on a Saturday and it was semi-busy, but we were able to find seating. There's 2 tables outside and 3 tables inside along with a large community style table. We tried the Mediterranean bowl and the Gau. The chicken is definitely the star - cooked to perfection. The portions are great and packed with flavor. We also tried a side order of sweet potato fries - definitely try it with a side of the toum/calabrian chili dipping sauce. There was a slight mix up with our order but they made it right and were so accommodating. 10/10 customer service. Will definitely be back and highly recommend if you're in the area looking for a tasty bite.

Yelp
Enjoyed this place with my family over the weekend. What a gem! Food fresh, tasty and beautifully prepared. We had a few things, bowls, wrap, fries and the chicken by itself. My kids (4/5 years) loved it! Will gladly return and support this local business.

Yelp
I heard there's a new chicken spot in town, so I brought 2 of the toughest food critics (my kids lol) with me to try them out. The place is so beautifully decorated and it's so chic. We started off with their Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Carrots & Beets served over a bed of labneh harrisa sauce, topped with Dukkah ( Egyptian spice blend). So bright and delicious Their Hummus was very creamy served with za'atar pita chips, perfectly balanced. The Girl & The Gaucho bowl was a standout. The chimichurri turmeric rice was so unique & the crispy garbanzo beans added the perfect crunch. their chicken is so juice and flavorful. these zaatar fries were unreal, especially with their garlic sauce. my little food critics approved and said well definitely be back again soon!

Yelp
Great chicken spot in Burbank! This place is near my work, went with my friend for lunch. Place is small and parking can be tricky but the food is delicious! My friend got the quarter chicken with two sides - hummus & sweet potato fries. I got the girl and gaucho wrap. It was a lot of food but very tasty! Service was super nice! Will definitely come back!

The moment I walked in the staff was inviting and kind. The food was delicious amazing and the ambiance was great I loved it and will definitely be back again.

Yelp
I've heard so much about this place. I finally came here on a Saturday evening after walking around in IKEA all day and was starving. Luckily they were still open but they do close pretty early around 8pm so I'm guessing it's more of a lunch spot than a dinner spot. Nevertheless, the food was super yummy! It's more of a casual restaurant so you order at the front before sitting with your number. Then they bring the food out to you. I decided to try the girl and the gaucho bowl because it sounded amazing with chicken, hummus, rice, kale, sweet potatoes, corn, avocado and more! I also got the sweet potatoes and beets as a side and a passion fruit jasmine tea. My friend ordered the half chicken combo with fries and quinoa salad. The chicken was SO juicy!! I'm normally more of a dark meat girly but the bowls come with white meat so I was worried it would be dry but the chicken was so soft and juicy and flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised. I loved how hearty the bowl was too. Every bite was so flavorful and had lots of different textures. I loved the chimichurri sauce that it comes with but next time I definitely want to try the aji verde for some spice. The roasted sweet potatoes and beets were really yummy too. It's on top of a labneh harissa sauce so it's bright yet creamy. I got to try some of my friend's fries too and they were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Nicely seasoned too. The tea was good but it's unsweetened (which I prefer) but just a heads up since I think most people would've expected it to be sweet. The restaurant is really cute inside and there's different options for seating. They also have a few tables outside. I don't know how crazy it normally is during the day but it's street parking only. I didn't have too hard of a time looking for parking only a Saturday evening though. The service was great. The cashier was super friendly and gave me suggestions on what to order since it was my first time. Overall, I really liked the food here. It tasted so fresh and healthy and the portions were generous. I can see it being really popular with the office workers during the weekdays. I would definitely come back again if I'm ever in the area.

Yelp
Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The flavors were tasty, healthy, and perfectly balanced. The hummus was creamy, the chicken had a great flavor. The space itself is cute bright, modern, and has that clean Mediterranean aesthetic that makes you want to stay awhile. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for a hearty, healthy meal

Yelp
5 The wrap was incredibly tasty and filling! The fries tasted great as well. They are are mix between soft and crunchy and the spices really elevate it. I got this delivered this time and will make sure to eat in store soon since it's close my work office.

Yelp
Delicious sides and juicy chicken ! We shared the half chicken combo with sides beets and sweet potatoes, turmeric chimichurri rice, and garlic toum sauce. We also got a side order of the house hummus and pita chips. The portions were more than enough to fill both my husband and I. We def agree that the beets and the sweet potatoes were the stars of our meal. Overall service was good. A little slow to be assisted due to low staff and cashier working the front of the store by himself, but not too slow that we wouldn't come back to check out other items on the menu. Everything looked and tasted fresh.

Yelp
It's worth going out of your way for this delightful place. One of the best meals I have ever eaten. The food is prepared perfectly from the moist chicken to the perfect and abundant mix of fresh vegetables. I had the Mediterranean bowl and I've never had such a bounty of fresh veggies in one, perfectly plated bowl. There's a swoosh of the best hummus ever "painted" on the side of the bowl, and the tzatziki is not to be missed. The owners are so friendly and you can tell they are passionate about food and excellent service.

Yelp
Had dinner at The Girl and the Chicken last night. I am already looking forward to return. Kenzie took my order at the counter and made sure I had everything I needed. No paper plates or Styrofoam. The food is on plates with silverware. The interior is inviting and modern. Some outdoor seating. I ordered the quarter chicken with white meat. The seasoning was just right. Moist and flavorful. Had the roasted sweet potatoes, carrots, beets, tomatoes, labneh harrisa sauce, topped with Dukkah (Egyptian spice blend). Had me at the roasted beets. Great combination of roasted vegetables. I had the Hibiscus tea. Refreshing. There are several dipping sauces to choose from. Will try on my next visit. I dipped pieces of my tender flavorful chicken into the labneh harrisa sauce the roasted vegetables were on. So good. I had leftovers for lunch today. I found parking on the street. There is public parking on Maple. Plan on returning soon to try the Gaucho Bowl and the dipping sauces. Worth checking it out. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Yelp
Ever wondered what chicken would taste like if it was cooked by the girl. Well satisfy your insatiable thirst for knowledge here where you can taste wrap after wrap of wrapped up - chicken. This place is very multicultural and by very multicultural I mean it's like Peruvian middle Eastern mix. It's pretty yum yum and they always give you a sauce dipping tray and we all know that sandwiches you dip are 10x larger than dry sandwiches. Always the service here is fast casual the parking is abysmal but makes sense. The line is usually mild so yeah

Yelp
Had an overall good experience here for lunch. The menu is small but has good appetizers, bowls, and wraps. Some of the stuff was a bit too seasoned for me, but it is good for a quick, healthy bite.

Yelp
Hey this is a fun place with a simple menu. Don't go broke buying dinner for a gang of people. I look forward to eating here again when I'm in this part of Los Angeles.

Yelp
COST: $25.95 (Half + 2 sides + 1 sauce) $16.95 (the chicken & spice bowl) I've been seeing this place all over Instagram and social media which means it must be the real deal right? Well folks, they ARE! The food is amazing. We were warmly greeted by the SWEETEST LADY in Kenzie. Loved her energy and warmth. She also seemed super genuine too. We let her know it was our first time, and boy, did she treat us right? She walked us through the menu, the ordering process and brought the food to our table. She needs to be promoted! I ordered the half chicken with kale & cabbage slaw and hummus (with pita chips) as the sides. I chose chimichurri for the sauce. My god IT WAS SO MUCH FOOD! I can hardly eat it all. The serving is easily good for two which means I got to take leftovers home. The chicken is so good almost peri peri flavor like. There's a very subtle hint of sweetness too which made it really unique. The hummus tasted fresh AF. My mom got the bowl, and they used white chicken meat off the same roast. The harissa rice was my favorite part of her meal. The place is too inviting, affordable and delicious. No wonder they're extremely popular and have a ton of reviews here. Check out my snaps attached. Thank you Kenzie and team for the fantastic food and service. We'll be back. Duh!!

Yelp
Nice ambience, very relaxing environment and interior design is marvelous! This place is nice for a solo date or big gathering! Me and my family love this place and enjoy the whole chicken by itself it is so flavorful and reminds me of my grandmas seasoning growing up as a kid it's very flavorful and delicious and nostalgic. I get the Chicken & Spice Bowl comes with rotisserie chicken, hummus, harissa rice, shirazi salad, kale slaw, roasted cauliflower, pickled onions, the garbanzo beans are so crunchy and perfectly balanced, avocado , with labneh harissa sauce! It is 1000/1000 so light and filling at the same time! I will always come here and grab this everytime! I also tried the Mediterranean wrap and it was nice but overall I would pick the spicy bowl over this !

Yelp
I guess delivery was not the vibe... Portion was very small. Arrived super cold. Barely any protein. Like 3 tiny slices of chicken. What a waste

Yelp
We were staying in a hotel close to downtown Burbank and wanted to look for a highly rated spot with good food as we are always looking for new spots to eat when we are out and about. The reason for being in Burbank was to attend a wedding. Decided on this spot based on our love for chicken done right with an explosion of flavors, and sides that actually compliment the overal meal/expereince and go well as a pairing. My g/f got the rotisserie chicken (quarter size) and a side of seasoned fries and hummus. I tried the highly recommended chicken sandwich (chicken and labneh fire wrap). I also got the sweet potato and beets side. I will start with the sides first... the sweet potato and beets side was super flavorful, cooked to perfection, and just the right amount. The seasoned fries were also cooked just right and the side sauces were both amazing. The hummus was also good and had a bit of a smokey flavor to it which we both like a lot. Now for the main dishes... the chicken was moist, exploding with flavor, tender, and super fresh tasting. We both also enjoyed eating the skin as it was cooked to a crisp versus being oily and not very much fun to eat. My wrap was bursting with flavor, the sauces went well with all the ingredients that were inside the wrap, and the amount was just right where we both did not feel hungry or over stuffed. We are so happy that we found this spot and it will definitely be our go to spot anytime that we are in the area as we are excited to try all the other delicious items on their menu. I even got a chance to speak with Narbeh who is the husband owner as this a fmaily busines, and told him that he is doing it right and he defintiely has something good going here and complimented his level of attention to flavor profile and detail. Narbeh is super passionate and it shows and is on top of making sure that the quality and standards are nothing short of extraordinary and beyong just being good... more so on the top notch side of things. You won't be disappointed with this spot and your palate will be extremely happy, and you will be making all the necessary and default sounds as you take your time eating this food. Lastly the overall ambiance is clean, tidy, and super cool decor. There is inside and outside seating, and I must say that the cleanliness level of the restroom was pristine.

Yelp
Popped in here for an early dinner with my boyfriend on a Friday, it's a new restaurant so it wasn't too busy. There isn't a parking lot specific to this restaurant so you'll have to find street parking. I typically find parking around the block and it's a short walk to the restaurant. The restaurant has a cute vibe, it gives vacation in Greece vibes. There's indoor and outdoor seating, we preferred to sit indoors because it was a bit windy that day. You'll place your order at the cashier before being seated, the server then brings you your utensils. I ordered a half chicken with a side of quinoa salad and my boyfriend ordered the Chicken & Spice bowl. Keep in mind that this restaurant has very clean ingredients and is healthy, so nothing was overly salty or oily. I loved it! The chicken was juicy and flavorful. You can really taste the spices without it being salty. The quinoa salad was delish, fresh, lemony, and the bits of olives gave it a nice umami touch. My boyfriend enjoyed his bowl. The variety of spiced cauliflower, the kale slaw, and the bites of crunchy chickpeas added depth to the bowl. Definitely a meal I 100% recommend if you want to dine out but eat something healthy and light. We'll definitely be coming back because when we were leaving my boyfriend had a whiff of French fries and was upset he didn't order them, they smelled so good!! I recommend stopping by for lunch for dinner if you're looking for a healthy filling meal!

Yelp
By far probably one of the best meals. We brought in a large group and left only 1 or 2 tables open. Food came out quickly and service was excellent. Each dish from the wraps to the bowls were beautifully plated. I ordered the quarter chicken (I requested white meat) with beets and sweet potatoes and turmeric and chimichurri rice as my sides. It was impressive! The breast meat was juicy and flavorful. I had them hold back some accompaniments for the beets and sweet potatoes due to dietary reasons but it was very tasty. I tried the tzatziki and the chimichurri sauce and they were both delicious. Lots of locals walked in which is a great testament to the quality of the food. They serve tea and sodas - no alcohol. Parking is a challenge but I would definitely come back. The cozy restaurant has a welcoming decor and everything was amazing!

Yelp
I was having one of those weeks where you don't want to cook anything and nothing sounds good. So after a some doom scrolling on Yelp I decided to take my chances and try The Girl & The Chicken, and BOYYY was I happy to have stumbled upon this gem. My son and I are French Fry snobs and their Zaatar fries are packed with so much flavor and have the the perfect crisp to them. 10/10 The chicken bowl with the chimichurri sauce is also delicious. Wish I would have gotten more things to try, but I know I'll be back! Takeout service was fast and friendly. Definitely a must try!

Yelp
Please be advised that it is street parking only so allow a little extra time if you wanna stop here. The food was good. I enjoyed the bowl that I have and the person taking the order was pretty nice. The menu is very limited so there may not be something for everyone. You may want to look ahead of time. Quality food was excellent. I really enjoyed their hummus.

Yelp
Went based off of a Yelp search and was not disappointed. It's a fast casual eatery. Pretty straight forward. There were no pictures or menu up on the wall but there are plenty of card menus that one can hold while looking over the options. The staff was very helpful with questions. The place is bright and minimalist. As a short plus-sized person, I am always wary of chairs that is not comfortable on the hamstring area. Their chairs are comfortable for my 5 ft self. Now the food. I always get the quarter plate and my adult children has tried the plates, bowls and wraps. All good. Simple. Flavorful. Consistent taste and quality as we have been here many times already. The chicken is tender, always cooked through (our experience) and rich with flavor. All the sides are great. Love the chimichuri, tzatziki and garlic sauce the most. Price wise like most reviewers, is higher than its counterpart but you get what you pay for and for us that is reliability when it comes to quality, freshness and flavor. The dining area is clean and they clean up real quick after diners but the true reflection in my opinion is the state of their bathroom. Their bathroom is bright, the color of the wall and floor is light. They provide all the basics (toilet paper, liners, spray, soap, separate trash can and paper towels). And each time we use it, it has been clean. In my opinion, the bathroom reflects the hygiene practices of the owner/manager. I highly recommend The Girl and The Chicken.

Yelp
Whoa my goodness! Off the chart fabulous. I love a bowl -and The Girl and the Gaucho didn't disappoint - it was honestly awesome. The chicken was fresh and perfectly cooked, the rice delish, sweet potato and corn perfection. I'm not a fan of garbanzo beans, however these were far from the usual garbanzo fare - they were crispy and tasty and I could have eaten them all day. Maybe next time I'll get an order of garbanzo beans to go. I left off the dressing - it just wasn't necessary. Says a lot, yes?
