The Globe Inn

We really enjoyed our lunch here. We brought our nervous pup, were made to feel welcome and she was at complete ease the whole time. The food was very tasty and there were plenty of vegan options available to enjoy. The desserts were a particular highlight! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It's a really great location too. We'd definitely come back.

Well it was a very long journey for me and a very long day but it was great to visit and sit in the same seat as Brad Pitt, I found this very emotional and the kind gentleman behind the bar was very understanding and even took the time to take a photo of me, I didn’t stay very long as it was another 3 hour drive home but the locals were lovely and very understanding that I just came to visit the pub used in the F1 movie, thank you guys what a good day it was

We had a lovely three-day visit to the lovely county of Bedfordshire. The people from Leighton Buzzard were incredibly welcoming, making our entire stay truly memorable. Our visit to the Globe Inn pub was a highlight, where we enjoyed a thoroughly hearty evening meal. Josh and Gabi were on duty, and we were extremely well looked after by them both throughout our service. Josh went above and beyond by arranging a taxi to ensure our safe return to our local hotel – a lovely touch. Thank you J & G!👍👍👍

Just went for a desert and a drink, not on the cheap side, but nice old pub experience, and right by the canal so great for a sunny day. Fairly busy also, which is always a good sign. Decent parking too although the road leading down is a little tight.

Fabulous Jane was so lovely and just great person, we had an amazing time! Food was great, and the atmosphere soo nice, we loved it.

Had Sunday lunch at The Globe yesterday and honestly… epic doesn’t even cover it. The food was absolutely spot on — proper flavours, perfectly cooked, and the kind of roast that hits every craving. But the real star? The sticky toffee pudding. Hands down the best dessert I’ve ever had. Light, warm, sweet, gooey — absolute perfection. And shout-out to Holly, who looked after us. She had the best smile, super welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. Top service. Highly recommend. Will 100% be back. 🙌🔥

Very dissapointed with the food The lunch menu of 2 courses is so small at £11.95.and not appetising at all. Dessert was tiny and microwaved so much it was hard and chewy. It was a beautiful and sunny day but eating outside wasn't an option we were told

Was craving a Sunday roast after a weekend wedding away. Found this ‘hidden gem’. The Global Inn is tucked away in a windy and narrow road over a tiny bridge overlooking a river canal. The food hit the spot- it was delicious! We got the turkey and beef duo. Along with the rumble / pie and the mini dessert of Eaton Mess with a cuppa! Would have had the same thing for breakfast lunch and dinner any day of the week! Staff were great, attentive and friendly. The venue was clean, warm and welcome. Would definitely come back. Wish that was my local. Other points to share: - seems to be a dog friendly venue - looks to be relatively wheelchair friendly ( a wash room on the ground floor and ramps ) - car park situation behind the venue - narrow but short road

What a lovely pub which I found purely by chance whilst visiting a family grave! The pub is situated right along the banks of the Grand Union Canal so is popular with boaters but is quite easily accessable by road too, over a narrow bridge and a short drive along the canal bank and then into the pub car park. This place does get busy in the summer and the food is excellent. There are plenty of tables outside also, all along the canal bank. The main pub has been extended fairly recently and has had a refurbishment. There is a good selection of real ales and at time of writing the pub is about to start a 5 week beer festival!! Expect to find, IPA, Abbot (one of my favourites) and the seasonal bonkers conkers (yum) amoung others. Slightly off the beaten track but well worth that detour.

This is a place that I have been into on and off for the last 10 years. Everytime I go I like it, whether its lunchtime or evening. Took a business acquaintence there just the other day because we wanted to grab a bite to eat and it just seemed to fit.

Food can be good, but the Globe failed to honour the £5 Qype voucher and therefore should not be offering this deal!

My Family love this pub, one reason being that they allow dogs in the bar but not in the restaurant. So if you don't like dogs go in the large restaurant. we often eat outside and have always found the food and service good. The location on the side of the canal is beautiful but the drive along the side of the canal is nerve racking for some.

Awful service, food and dangerous not to state on menu for allergy sufferers. When I complained staff were hostile and rude, Seem to have changed their menu and a complete disaster. Flat coke served despite being asked to change it. Sad reflection on what used to be a nice place to eat with friendly staff certainly will not be going back appalling
