Came here at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. Drinks, food and service were all outstanding. The waitress was very thorough in helping ensure no allergens in my husband’s meal. On a very quiet, quaint street in the heart of Annapolis. Highly recommend.

Google
I love this place so much. Mexican-American in a gorgeous setting with great service. Menu is on the smaller side but everything we’ve tried has been great. This was our second time and the cocktails are such a hit. We’ve liked the espresso martini and their margaritas- fair warning, margs are served in a smaller glass and they offer special flavors weekly. This week was cantaloupe- cantaloupe!- great as always. We got the chips/salsa/guac (salsa is sorta puréed but I love that personally, guacamole is just-combined with raw red onion). I got the Caesar salad with salmon. The dressing was perfect, arugula was super fresh, croutons were crunchy but still melt in your mouth. And y’all, they do salmon SO well here. Great on the tostada as well. Posting what my boyfriend got too- smothered burrito. Looked phenomenal.

Went here on 4th of July night, 45 mins before the fireworks show. Surprisingly not busy, our server was nice. We got drinks and appetizers first, the Paloma was refreshing, my partner got the Hibiscus Mezcal Mule and LOVED it! Jalapeno poppers and Chicken Tinga Wonton hits the spot, i loved the greens beds that the jalapeno poppers were on top of. (hot tip: use the japapeno ranch with the jalapeno poppers and greens!!) I got the MP seafood chevice that so happens to be Mahi-Mahi for the day for $18. Refreshing but i wish the fish cuts were smaller. My partner got the Blackened Salmon; the salmon was great, the housemade refried beans was funky as in i think theres cinnamon in it, its different. Slaw was delicious! The bathrooms are beautiful and our server was gracious when we asked for the check quick so we can catch the firework show.

Great cocktails!! These bartenders really know what they’re doing. It really adds to the casual chic vibe. Haven’t tried the food (yet!) but my friends say it’s BOMB 💣 I love the vicinity to the Naval Academy, so post walk of the Yard, you can have yourself a capirinha. The vibe is super chill—can be a great spot for a date or a an experience with friends 💃🏽

This was our second time here and it was as incredible as the first. You can’t go wrong with literally any dish or drink, food presentation is stunning- it’s a 10/10, our new Annapolis go-to. The blackened salmon was perfectly made, my husband got the ribs which were also amazing.

Google
The food is rather good: queso is great, guac is solid, even the fries are pretty good, and the entrees are quite tasty. It’s a real shame, then, that the service is so poor. I ordered a burrito and asked to sub shrimp instead of chicken/steak and then asked for fries instead of the side salad and it ended up costing $16 more (total of $35 which is obscene). Our waiter never once mentioned any sort of upcharge and when we inquired about the price we were met with “is what it is.” Disappointing. That coupled with the fact that the service was very slow and inattentive made it a subpar meal. And the food really was delicious, probably some of the best Mexican food in Annapolis, which makes it all the worse that it wasn’t an enjoyable experience. We’ve been twice and might give it a third shot - hopefully it’ll be better then.

Google
One of the few spots left in Annapolis that makes real homemade food and excellent cocktails. Everything is great!

Google
Not bad for a first visit...I generally don't rate this high but it's well deserved! Sandwich...tastey! Margarita...these can really messed up depending on where you go but they actually use fresh pressed lemon and lime juice and not that syrup stuff so it's a go for me 😋

Yelp
Kind of a hidden gem as it's a block away from Dock Street and two blocks from Main Street. Well worth the visit. My girlfriend and I were staying for a night at the Gibson's Inn just a block away and so we stumbled upon this place just from walking around. Glad we came here for dinner. Excellent little corner restaurant and cocktail bar. There was live music in the corner while we were there, dim lighting, nice decor, friendly service, and the pièce de résistance: a phenomenal meal. My girlfriend had the blackened mahi burger, and I had the steak burrito, stuffed to capacity, drenched in red sauce and crema, exquisitely prepared and presented. Washed down with a local IPA. If we lived locally we would come here a lot more often. As is, we promise to come back when we are back in Annapolis, whenever that may be!

Yelp
Wow! We stopped in here for a drink to use the bathroom as we were meandering around Annapolis. We ended up staying because it was phenomenal. Everything about this place was cool: the decor, the staff, the food, the drinks. They were super accommodating and helpful when making our selections and even making things that were not listed on the menu to accommodate my dining companion's needs. Shout out to Ryne, the awesome bartender who gave us some fabulous recommendations, and you could tell us very passionate about the spot and his role in it. I wish I lived closer, but as a first visit to Annapolis, I feel like we hit the jackpot at this lesser known establishment! They have been open for about two years and we were lucky to go during the off-season where we had the full attention of the staff. We were told it gets busy on the weekends, but it was relatively quiet around 4 o'clock on a Friday afternoon. Speaking of which they also offer a great happy hour... cocktails for $10 from 4 to 6 pm and they also offer a beer and wine specials.

Yelp
I stopped here following a work cruise that docked around the corner. This place has cute wallpaper and nice comfortable seating. The flavors are creative and everything was very fresh. This is a great spot for a quick drink or dinner with a friend.

Yelp
3.5 stars.. Staying with a buddy that lives on The Yard, so we ventured out the gate and happened upon this relatively new joint. Started out with a local brew and ordered the Nachos! Good with a spicy green sauce.. opted for the Crab cake sandwich... was expecting it to be hot, but was more like a crab salad sandwich. Good flavor, lots of crab! Ambiance is Ye Old Pub, service was friendly but "lost", and prices are in line with area.

Yelp
I am upset with the fact that after over a decade in this area, I never walked over here! Seriously, one more street over from the touristy area and BOOM, some bomb a$$ food. I am still thinking about the meal! From start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible. The food here is nothing short of epic. Every dish I tried was packed with flavor, and you can tell that the chefs really know what they're doing. I started with the seasonal burrata which was a perfect introduction to what was to come. But the star of the show was definitely the "Main Entrée: Salmon," - it was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and the combination of flavors was just Y U M. Even the sides, which are often an afterthought at many places, were incredible and elevated the flavor profile. All paired with two glasses of Sauvignon Blanc (they have a great wine list). I wish I had room for dessert....

Yelp
This place was so cute! They have an amazing patio area and the food was just as yummy! We started with their special blueberry hibiscus margarita which was super refreshing and was definitely worth it! We also had their jalapeño poppers which were so fresh, their chicken wontons with an AMAZING jalapeño dill ranch (I took some home) and their steak nachos! Definitely would go back! Super nice staff!

Yelp
This is such a cute little place! Love the decor and ambience. Staff are very friendly. We stopped by on a Sunday night just for drinks and a snack. We tried the margherita and caipirinha, both were delectable (and they don't skimp on the alcohol!) We weren't super hungry so just got the quesadilla which was a very good portion to share. Overall, loved the experience and would come back next time we're in Annapolis!

Yelp
My daughter and I really enjoyed our meal here. The street corn dip with nachos was unbelievably good. I also had the burrito which was equally as good. We will definitely be back. Seating was limited, but we were able to find a table when we walked in after a basketball game on the Yard.

Yelp
The chicken wontons are to die for. Amazing food, gorgeous appetizers and main dishes. Great drinks- I wish they were a little larger but great flavor. Service was amazing, efficient and fast. The music was great and up beat. Slightly loud atmosphere for our Mother's Day dinner but to be expected with a full house. Will come back!! Didn't even take a second for photos.

Yelp
My hubby and I landed on the torta. I am glad we did, this was the best one I have had so far. Very rich in flavor. The service was great as well, this place is just a hair off the Annapolis beaten path. I also had a cocktail that was probably the best one in taste, next my all time favorite cocktail served at a local speak easy. It was purple and tasted like smoky goodness! I will definitely be back to this place and Will recommend to all that will listen

Andrew M.

Yelp
Delicious drinks and food. Get the guacamole! Also the live music is amazing! Check out their happy hour.

Yelp
Had the pleasure of dinner at The Goat this past weekend. We stopped in for a drink on Friday afternoon and we're so delighted with everything about the place that y we returned for donner on Saturdy. Food and service were wonderful and we will surely return. We were very pleased with our experience

Yelp
Loved it! We arrived right at opening time on a Sunday to enjoy lunch / brunch and had a great experience. To start, the bartender / server was so friendly! I asked about NA beverages and he had a few non-alcoholic beers to choose from and was willing to make anything I was interested in. The salsa trio was three different and delicious salsas - great idea to start with! I shared the nachos starter and they were perfect (and huge!). Others in my group had the charcuterie board and a rice bowl and had great feedback! The rice bowls were a great mix of ingredients and everything was seasoned well and very fresh!

Chris P.

Yelp
Nice server warm and inviting. The Ambiance was ok outside seat looked nice. The food choice were not the best for mea and the could take modified orders

Yelp
Walking around Annapolis and found this corner bar gem! Stopped in for a quick cocktail, and decided a Caipirinha(new favorite summer go to) and my wife had a Spicy Margarita. Both delicious...the food also looked amazing...hand Very clean inside, staff were extremely friendly too! Stop by here when walking around town. You won't be disappointed. Cheers

Yelp
Why this restaurant got 4.5 stars is beyond me. Went there with the family got seated outside, with no menus and not waited on for 15 minutes. Finally went up got my own menus and got some help. The food was horrible, no flavor and just bland. Would not recommend this place at all!

Yelp
We found this hidden gem last year and KNEW we had to come back this year... and we did TWICE! The staff is incredibly kind and authentic - a very local neighborhood vibe - comfortable and welcoming! The food and handcrafted cocktails were just as amazing! We tried the chorizo dip (delighful!); the chicken tinga wontons (yummy!); the red snapper poke (as fresh as if it just came from the Caribbean Sea that day); and the sweet potato tostada (heavenly and light)! The wine list hits all the notes and the house and spicy margaritas were excellent and well balanced. And the prices incredibly reasonable for such high quality food and drinks! This place is now a must for us every time we go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a fun restaurant with great vibes! The chicken tinga is to die for, and torta isn't far behind.

Yelp
-we ate inside so this review reflects that area, not the backyard seating area. -very loud (and no I'm not old). There is -food took a long time to arrive -fumes from cars starting up and coming to the intersection in front of this place make it into the restaurant -after reading reviews about the great food we thought we'd be in for a treat. It's simply not very good- especially for the price.

Dawn C.

Yelp
This restaurant is okay. The tacos were pretty good. The nachos were not good at all. We were excited to try them. We ended up with about 6 burnt chips with some dip. We still laugh about those nachos, and this was last winter. The portion sizes were smaller than usual, and the prices weren't great. The service was pretty good. I suppose it is a trendy, relatively new restaurant in Annapolis, but it just didn't do it for us. My husband and I are going to check out some other places in town. We like to eat out, but this isn't it for us. We grew up here, so we are pretty familiar with the local restaurant scene. I would recommend Vida Taco. Their nachos and tacos are great, and they are right up Main Street. They also have Taco Tuesday Night, and you get a reduction on your bill. We live in Annapolis, but we like the location in Severna Park too.

Yelp
Ugh, I totally forgot to take pictures of my food because I was so hungry. Sorry guys! Hopefully this review makes up for it. Here we go: The restaurant is located near the water. On a warm summer day, it is going to be extremely busy so enjoy the frustration of searching for parking. Count on the Hibiscus Mule to ease your anxiety and irritation; you'll need it after suffering through. Thankfully, it is a delightful libation worthy of easing your stresses. The bartender definitely emulsified! The restaurant is very cozy! On a crowded day, you may have to befriend your table top mates since you are almost sitting in their lap. It makes a good venue to possibly end up with a new friend or at the very least, creep on your neighbor's plate without being obvious and assist you in figuring out what you want to eat. Speaking of, we ordered the chicken tinga wontons which came paired with a jalapeño dipping sauce. These were amazing and one of my favorite dishes. For those worried about spice, the ranch dip did not have too much heat (and could in fact stand to up the notch a bit), so don't let it deter you! Both myself and my friend had the mango salad with blackened salmon. It was very tasty! I appreciated the goat cheese addition and actually have rounded out my weekly lunch meals I make for myself with a salad inspired by them. Oh, and the service was pretty good! Waitress was attentive but not annoyingly so and the food came out rather fast. To note, we went when it wasn't all that crowded. I was there a little earlier than when it opened, so at 4 it would've been great if they made some indication that I could come in. Other than that, would definitely return and check out the other menu items!

Yelp
This place has such a great vibe! The food and drinks were so good and our server Shannon was amazing! Ask for her!! Really loved the torts and my espresso martini. We will be back to try more for sure!!!

Yelp
This place is absolutely fantastic, and highly recommended for anyone coming to Annapolis! Have a great mix of locals and out of towners - super cool ambience - and friendly staff! I highly recommend you try the queso, probably the best queso I have ever had in my entire life... And I've had a lot of queso! Located, super close, to the best part of town... Make sure you check out this Gem ! Guaranteed, good time! Did I mention the queso? Cheers !

Karin D.

Yelp
Truly one of our favorite places in Annapolis- I almost hate to post this because I don't want them to get overrun! We love the wonderful staff - Shannon and Nat and Neil are always super welcoming and fun. The drinks are amazing (espresso martini for the win) and we looove the new fall menu that just dropped. The chicken tinga wonton app is a perennial favorite, and we had new mains (fig prosciutto burrata salad, and red snapper ceviche tostada) which were truly exceptional. The space is small but very cute (check out the wallpapers in the bathrooms, ha) and they have a nice patio out back which I understand is dog friendly. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I really feel this place was a 4.5. Pros: Smart and creative tight dishes Fun cocktails Most unique cuisine I have had in a while Great location right by everything and the water Decor was interesting- I liked the wall with the brass sconces Cons: This is not a kid friendly restaurant. There is not a kids menu, there are not high chairs and if you did try to bring a stroller you wouldn't fit at all. Portions are small I understand it's an artistic place but I'm just letting the Yelpers know... Ideally I'd like to see a bit more crowd pleasing items - I personally liked the food but two of my company thought it was too "chef-y". I'd like to come back and bring them so even just a simple nacho plate/taco would help persuade those with a simpler palate. I would order the fries and the wontons again they were very good and the sauces were great. I would probably be happy with the carne asada but did not think it was quite enough meat and could benefit from a couple chips since it came with a lot of guacamole and refried beans with not much to eat with it. Overall I liked the concept the service was good- a lot of the vibe here was young friends/ couples grabbing cocktails and the staff was definitely dressed down compared to the clientele I thought that was interesting it's usually the other way around. However this is a review for a Saturday and maybe people are just fancier on a Saturday. Note:

K. B.

Yelp
We absolutely love this place! We have dined there now three times and every time, the food is amazing, the atosphere super cozy, cute and fun and the cockails and service is off the charts! Can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Stephanie Q.

Yelp
Adorable spot with cozy fun atmosphere and delicious food. Our waitress was friendly and sweet.

Amanda P.

Yelp
Bad service. Takes forever to get food even though hardly anyone was in the restaurant.
google avatar

Thom B.

Yelp
Everything on the menu looked absolutely delicious, they were happy to accommodate for allergies and the portion sizes were perfect. We started with the fries. The aioli was magnificent. We got the sweet potato goat cheese tostada and the shrimp one as well. They both left us full but actually felt good like the ingredients were of higher quality than your typical downtown fare. The vibe of the room was perfectly Annapolitan without an abundance of corny crab and sailing trinkets. There was outside service but we didn't check it out. Our server was delightful and checked in regularly without being overbearing. This is definitely my new post-work hang.
google avatar

Lynn V.

Yelp
The food was phenomenal! The staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The Goat has a really cozy, eclectic atmosphere. Overall a great experience!!
google avatar

Haley M.

Yelp
Incredible food. Incredible service. Has an awesome vibe. A nice outdoor patio. Can't wait to come back and try the dinner menu!

MC H.

Yelp
I had a great experience and can't wait to come back to try more of the menu. The hibiscus mule was delicious, and the guac was clearly fresh made and really good. I sat at the bar for a while with some time to kill, so unfortunately I wasn't eating a full meal. It was mid-afternoon so I got to watch the bartender, who was lovely, juicing a bunch of fruits to use in the drinks. Love to see that! Service was fantastic, and the vibe is fun and cool. It's the perfect spot for a date, hang out at the bar for cocktails, or a meal with girlfriends. It's small and elevated fare, so no it's not the place for a huge group or giant portions.

Jeff F.

Yelp
Ate there on a Sunday evening. Almost empty inside and too hot to sit outside. No issues with service or ambiance. The issue is, we had 1 burrito, 1 tostada and 1 carne asada and 2drinks = $108.00. Not big servings either. Not flavorful. Compared to other places at what you would get for 100 bucks, not worth it. Be wary of places who claim to be the best or The Greatest of All Times.

Bob D.

Yelp
Outstanding! Great service, drinks, food, atmosphere and friendly people. We wanted to try a new place for a quick drink and a snack. We were pleasantly surprised and can't wait to go back. Bob & Lew Daley.

Kirk Y.

Yelp
WOW -- Whatta GRRReat discovery! We cruised into the City Dock Thursday evening hungry 'n thirsty. Luckily, we were a football field's distance from 'The Goat' tucked in on one of the side streets. The bartender was outstanding and our meals (Rockfish for me and Carne Asada for my wife) were outta-this-world DELICIOUS! Absolutely must if you're in town.
google avatar

Ryan L.

Yelp
Overall meh... food was ok - guac not great and chips are not made in house. Service was subpar and slow considering the price point. On the flip side the restaurant has a cool build out/feel and is in a great location.
google avatar

Sawyer F.

Yelp
This place is fucking fantastic. Easily the best restaurant in the city for the price, the ambience, the everything. Cocktail program on point, the staff is incredible, it's everything. Come here and be happy you did.

S. Q.

Yelp
We've now tried this twice. Once close to opening and again this weekend. The redesign is fantastic. Casual and funky. Great bar area and an outdoor patio. The service was fine both times. The staff was cordial and engaged with the customers and each other, which helps with the atmosphere. The drink options are great. The food..... Annapolis locals are food people and good food trumps location, atmosphere, and service to keep us coming back. The Goat has some work to do. The menu is creative and not too busy. The first time we came, we enjoyed our food, but weren't wowed - but it was still new. This time, not so much. Despite the place being pretty empty and sitting right at the bar, the food came out very slowly and it was oddly cold. All three meals had the look and feel of being pre-plated and warmed up - not fresh and hot from the kitchen. The carne asada was especially disappointing. The meat was obviously pre-cooked (sous vide?) and then finished on the grill and lacked flavor and that nice crispy crust. The beans were cold. The other two meals were the short ribs - definitely felt like it was not just prepared. It was moderately warm and the rice had already stuck together in clumps. This is a tough location for downtown but if they can match the food to the drinks and atmosphere, it will be a hit.

Ron M.

Yelp
Decent for apps and margs or drinks. Food was ok Service wasn't as good as the food when we went. Temperature was sweltering and AC not on or working and they left the door open which made it worse, so like eating in a sauna. Customer service attitude seemed to be "meh".
google avatar

Audra G.

Yelp
Amazing food finds in this new DTA establishment. The Daiquiri Plus and the Sweet Potato Tostada were both amazing!!! The service was great, everyone was friendly, and it's in a great location (near USNA Gate 1). This will be one of our go to stops when in DTA.

J H.

Yelp
Everything down to the margarita was at best meh. The fish of the day was over cooked and the carne asada may have been boiled. We left and went to a local Mexican joint - we were pleased with that experience.
google avatar

Veronica M.

Yelp
This place is the GOAT but really...the GOAT in Annapolis lives up to its name. the drinks & food ... *chefs kiss* My friend and I came on cinco de mayo, the second day they opened. Everything ran smoothly, from the drink service to the meal service to the overall customer service. We arrived and went to the back patio where we had refreshing drinks (Paloma & Hibiscus Mezcal Mule). After about 45 minutes, we were seated at a table (which was not bad given that the restaurant is small and it was happy hour time on cinco de mayo) and the service was quick. Our server immediately came to our table and took our orders. The food was hot, plated so well, and absolutely delicious. I loved the blackened salmon tostada and the corn ribs are so, so good. For their second day opened, I was impressed. The atmosphere is also welcoming and fun. The food is reasonably priced, too. Highly recommend and will be back!

Michael M.

Yelp
Amazing for a brand new restaurant! Drinks are great, food was stellar. The only complaint was the size of the dish but just don't be a fat ass and you'll be alright. Ambiance is 10/10 sit in the back patio if you can! Definitely try out The Goat!
google avatar

Christina K.

Yelp
I had the Carne Asada and a house salad with jalapeño ranch. food was delicious and the service was good. the house margaritas were wonderful. looking forward to a return visit next time I'm in Annapolis!

Ann W.

Yelp
Had lunch at The Goat this afternoon. The food was tasty and fresh. Our server was friendly and the service was prompt. We sat outside on their charming outdoor patio. I highly recommend The Goat on your next visit to Annapolis!

Amanda C.

Yelp
This place blew my mind! We got there 15 mins before opening to get in line and I'm glad we did! We got sat in the courtyard with our kids and enjoyed amazing food, cocktails and service. Highly reccomend the corn ribs, chicken tinga tostada and chorizo queso. For cocktails, the goat lager, margerita and mojito were all great. We enjoyed our experience and can't wait to come back!

Nikki F.

Yelp
My husband and I ate at the goat and unfortunately it was not the experience I anticipated. To begin with we went early, 4pm bc we left our children with a babysitter and wanted to be home for bedtime. The restaurant was empty as expected, what we didn't anticipate was being seated next to the only other two top in the entire restaurant. We were so close we had to introduce ourselves and become a 4 top because it was just way too awkward not to become a party of 4. They were lovely but it could have been a disaster. The service was great but the portions of food were that of appetizers. I have zero complaints on the quality and taste of the food but for the price you should not have eaten your entire plate and still be hungry. Maybe separate your tables a smidge more and give a little more food

Ruth S.

Yelp
We had Great service, food, & drinks! Nice addition to DTA. Will definitely go again.

Kaly L.

Yelp
Food was fantastic. Fries, fish of the day, and shrimp tostada- all fantastic. Good beers on draft, and selection of cans. Cocktails looked delicious although we didn't have any. The outdoor area is lovely. Great service, great ambiance, awesome food and beverage!
