The Choco Taco Is Dead, But Here’s Where to Eat Choco Taco Desserts in Boston | Eater Boston

"Up north at The Goat’s New Hampshire locations, they’re serving a boozy Choco Taco frappe while supplies last: frozen hot chocolate spiked with Jim Beam vanilla, blended with vanilla ice cream, chocolate frosting, crushed sugar cones, whipped cream, chocolate chips, and a Choco Taco, with live music at these burger-and-whiskey bars." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Good country music playing. Food was pretty good. Average prices. Will go back. Left a couple dollars on the wall. Be sure to check out the Braille one we left on the woman’s bathroom door. 😁

We've been to the Hampton Beach Goat a few times before, and the food is generally pretty good, never had any issues before. Today however our experience was terrible. Our waitress took forever to get the two waters we ordered. Then once we got our food she kept coming over to ask if we wanted anything else. Once we were done eating and our plates had been cleared away she still kept asking if we wanted anything else and we kept saying no, expecting that she would bring us the check since we obviously were done and ready to leave. Well we waited and waited and still no check as we watched her run around to other tables. My wife finally asked the bar tender if they could help us and they said "you have to deal with your waitress". She finally came back over and since she seemed very new I explained that once people are done eating and telling you they don't want anything else, that's when you bring them the check. She replied that she wasn't allowed to ask customers if they wanted the check! We were absolutely dumbfounded by how asinine that sounded. Did she really expect that we wanted to sit there all day long and drink our waters?? Needless to say she got no tip and we will never visit The Goat again, anywhere.

If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would. We should have known to walk out when the hostess greeted us with dirty looks. We were drawn to this place for their $5 Bloody Mary’s on Saturday’s. As someone who loves Bloody Mary’s, these were so awful we were only able to have one sip. What they don’t tell you, is they use cucumber or orange vodka as opposed to regular vodka and the tomato juice they use isn’t a mix, it is straight up tomato soup out of a can. We were going to give their French onion soup a try, until the waitress told us it was “terrible” and they have been having issues with their ovens. After that, we asked for our check, where we were charged $22 for Bloody Mary’s, despite their advertisement. We had to fight the bill and were looked at as if we were the problem and not this horrible hole in the wall wanna be bar. We will not be returning. Do yourself a favor and go to the other side of town - you will get much better food and drink and hostesses and wait staff that appreciate your business.

Breakfast all day on Saturday was a treat for my partner and I. Generous portions and everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Tater tots crisp. The drunken frappe was fun!

Great experience! Loved coming here after a quick Hampton 5k. The service was so quick and the food was absolutely delicious. 10/10 would come back again.

We went here for dinner to get burgers. This place gets very busy. The food is decent and prices are reasonable/average. The staff is friendly and hard working. Our server was a beautiful young lady named Petya and she was an awesome. They have an old pickup truck parked alongside that doubled as a stage for a young man performing with his guitar. The walls and ceiling are lined with dollar bills that customers write stuff on and attach with staples, which is interesting.

The food was delicious! I got the drunken frappe, it was super yummy on hot day! Love the vibes of the building. I had group of 5 and a baby, had to sit small 4 table. The waitress was bit rushy but forgettable for many things like silverware’s, napkins, and refills.

Tried for the first time tonight went to the OG spot in Hampton beach, it wasn’t busy and we were sat right away. Very cool atmosphere and comfortable. I ordered the surfing cowboy (burger with pineapple, bbq sauce) my husband ordered the mac and cheese with bbq chicken our daughter got the kids tender meal (her meal was free because it was a week night). The food all came out very hot and quick, my husband loved his, my daughters was good but just basic tender and fry however a free meal is great and that scored extra points in my book. Now onto my burger I had.. ordered it medium-well lightly pink (I am 8 months pregnant so red meat is a no, no) the food came out and my burger was sooo pink i wasn’t sure if it was cooked however I am not one to send food back.. (this was my mistake, I should have asked for it to be cooked more) fast forward a couple hours and I 100% have food poisoning from that burger. My husband and daughter are fine but I am paying the consequences so if you’re looking for a recommendation, mine would be don’t get the burger lol. We don’t drink alcohol so I got a Shirley temple and my husband a lemonade, I will say the drinks were just small plastic cups, I wasn’t the biggest fan but it’s more of a bar atmosphere so it fits the theme… our total came out to $42 in my opinion the size portions you get for that price is amazing. Taste of the food 8/10 Quickness 9/10 Over all-6/10 simply because of the issue with the burger I am currently dealing with hours later as I write this lol. Maybe I would be back for breakfast.
