Local bar with great decor -dollars in each and every corner of the walls. Nice size pours and a variety of beers. Great attentive service, We didn't eat this time but we will be back.

Absolutely love this place!!!! Got 2 burgers that were cooked to perfection. I can’t believe I had never gone here before. Will definitely be back again!!

Oh this place was fun. We showed up on a Saturday night, and even thought Hampton off season was pretty dead, this place was not.. We found a seat at the bar, and immediately had a bartender grab me a beer. I was there for a burger, and the 'Hot Mess' did not disappoint.. I opted for the sweet potato waffle fries, which were also great, but if I had known the standard friends were hand cut, I would have 100% got those. I was a bit jealous of my partners fry choice. If you are in the area, and in the mood for a great burger, definitely stop by here and check it out.

Good country music playing. Food was pretty good. Average prices. Will go back. Left a couple dollars on the wall. Be sure to check out the Braille one we left on the woman’s bathroom door. 😁

Very good food! Servers were very friendly. They put scallions on my mac & cheese when I asked for without but the food was still delicious and fresh! Decent poutine. Service not the fastest but didn’t take so long that I was annoyed. Overall, loved it! Father says cheesehead wasn’t as good as expected but still good

We went here for dinner to get burgers. This place gets very busy. The food is decent and prices are reasonable/average. The staff is friendly and hard working. Our server was a beautiful young lady named Petya and she was an awesome. They have an old pickup truck parked alongside that doubled as a stage for a young man performing with his guitar. The walls and ceiling are lined with dollar bills that customers write stuff on and attach with staples, which is interesting.

We had tickets to a show to Wally's across the street, so we decided to eat here before the show. We are very familiar with the area and this place always seems busy. I was immediately a little turned off with all the dollar bills on the walls. Money is notoriously dirty... But the staff were really friendly and the drinks were tasty and the food was decent so overall it was a positive experience. We got the French onion soup (just ok) and split a blt (delicious with thick bacon).

Good overall place. Friendly fast service. We ordered a burger and the only two options were pink or no pink. I said pink, and the burger was not pink and a bit cold too. The inside of the restaurant was cold too, kept my jacket on. There are also dollar bills attached to the wall that you can write on and leave one up there. The food was good would definitely go back.

Ragnar Relay ends in Hampton Beach, NH and we were done running so finally time for a real meal and we found this spot. Parking is hard in the area but we eventually found a lot. They were busy on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch but we only had to wait about 15 min. Chill place that has dollar bills everywhere. I never quite figured out the dollar bill thing because we saw the same thing at a pizza joint somewhere else in NH. When I say everywhere, it really is everywhere. Every inch of wall space inside is covered with a dollar bill. The first meal after running almost 18 miles over 3 legs in 24 hours is glorious. All 6 of us in pure silence just inhaling food. Nothing better than that. The burger hit the spot. My plate had more tater tots than I knew what to do with but that's ok. Our server was really sweet and took such good care of us.

Was a cool place but not if you want service in under an hour, look elsewhere. We were seated about 5 min after arrival (no line just no one seating people) and our order taken quickly. Drinks were quick but It almost took an hour to get a grilled cheese and onion straws. And they got the order wrong. Three bread choices and they gave me the wrong one. All in all very disappointed and even the onion straws (tumbleweeds) were bland with no seasoning or salt. Now I'm eating a microwave meal from Hannafords.

The Goat used to be one of our go-to spots, but unfortunately, it just didn't live up to expectations this year. The host seemed pretty unorganized, he offered us bar seats that didn't exist, and when some finally opened up, he gave them away to someone else out of order. I actually had to point out a table that was ready to be cleared just to get us seated. I do appreciate that they text you when your table's ready, but the overall seating process was frustrating. The ambiance is usually a plus, but watching the news on three giant TVs during Sunday breakfast wasn't exactly the vibe we were hoping for. Our waitress clearly didn't want to be there and made us feel like we were a bother just by ordering. Not much to choose from for brunch coffees, just hot, iced, and one boozy option. I expected more from a place that serves breakfast and brunch. A little menu or drink list would've been helpful. I had the bagel sandwich with avocado, tomato, egg, and cheese. It was okay, but the bagel tasted like a plain Lenders bagel from the grocery store. Homefries were burned and had no flavor. My wife had a basic breakfast, scrambled eggs (super salty), homefries, and an English muffin and even that didn't impress, especially for $10. Sadly, The Goat just isn't what it used to be. Food quality and service have both gone downhill. We even skipped their buy one, get one burgers because honestly, it didn't feel worth it even for free. Ended up going to WYHM instead and were much happier with that choice.

We love Hampton Beach on Wednesday nights and we, well maybe it was just me, chose here because I wanted the appetizers. We got nothing but pork. The bacon wrapped jalapeños seemed homemade, the pork belly was yummy melty goodness and the bucket of bacon left me wanting more! More more more! It was a great lively atmosphere and well worth the wait! We will come back for entrees at some point I am sure, Our server was nice too!

Glad we gave The Goat a shot. The atmosphere was laid back and casual, with a "come as you are" attitude. It was super hot out, so we asked to sit downstairs where we could catch a breeze. Drinks took a bit, but refills were free, which was nice. And we happened to go on 2-for-1 burger Tuesday (score!). The burgers hit the spot, and we enjoyed the homemade pasta and potato salads, too.

Great spot to have a Sunday funday. Brunch is their best offering. We go here at least monthly. We get everything from the mimosas to the whiskey drinks. Everything is well made. I get the breakfast shot and it hits the spot every-time. The breakfast food is always good. The burgers and tots are also very good. The dinner menu is just OK. I would definitely recommend this as more of a brunch spot than a dinner spot. The ambiance is unique. The walls are lined with signed dollar bills. At this point, we probably have 50$ or so on the wall!! Lol. Stop by and give this place a shot. You'll probably leave buzzed, and will definitely leave satisfied!

This was the second GOAT location I have visited. The food was delicious. The atmosphere brilliant. The live music on the stage, which is mounted on the back of a truck is a nice touch, the ambulance excellent service was good too. We will be back. Recommend

Excellent Brunch spot! Build your own bloody Mary's were very well priced and so much fun! We sat on the second level and our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. At 10:30am there was no wait and the second deck wasn't too loud or overwhelming (we all thought the first floor was overwhelming between the decor and noise). Started with the bacon bucket and there was a lot more bacon in it than we initially thought! So well prepared and thick cut! I got the $10 eggs anyways and a side of hash and hollandaise sauce to build my own breakfast. Will be back!

We went for drinks Saturday at noon and it was already very busy downstairs! We went upstairs and it's small but there's a full bar there and we just wanted a drink before lunch elsewhere. This is a much different vibe than their other locations but it fits Hampton well.

I ordered food to go ,(crispy wings was my order) she forgot to ring in my order , so waited 15 more minutes . I ask for extra blue cheese . I walk home no blue cheese in bag . She only gave me one sauce once I walked back inside and as I'm walking I taste the sauce and it's buttermilk ranch . I walk back in to tell her and she tells me it's blue cheese and looks at me weird . So I just leave and my wings are soggy as well . Very bummed on this experience .

Our favorite place in Hampton Beach. We went here 3 of the 4 days we were here. We loved the whole vibe here. Reminds me of a Key West bar inside. Always a great crowd, great food and great service. Every single thing we ate was delicious; from the burgers, shaved steak sandwich, breakfast, wings and the soup flight is a great concept and all 3 soups were fantastic. Can't say enough about this place. We were here four days from RI and can't wait to come back!! Last, but certainly not least, we can't say enough about Jessica. She was amazing and made everything that much better and would go back for drinks whenever in town just to see her. The place was always packed and they pump out the food. The entire staff is attentive, always checking on you and everyone was beyond welcoming and pleasant. Oh yeah, the drunkin coffee and stacked bloody Mary's are worth the stop. 5 stars + from us

This place is so hit or miss and this will be my last attempt. I ordered a cosmo...no way this was a cosmo! Red in color and tasted like a cheap fruit punch. Nothing had any flavor. Queso special had 0 flavor and was so watery it wouldn't stick to the chips. No one liked their meal. I had a chicken quesadilla and it was so bland it was unreal. Son had a chicken sandwich and said it was tough and flavorless. My sweet potatoes waffle fries were soggy. Not worth the money and we won't be back!

HOLY PORTIONS, BATMAN! Sorry, just had to start out that way to get your attention because if you don't come here hungry you're probably in trouble. It was a beautiful day so we opted for a table outside (also found out it was dog friendly so we brought the pup! Bonus points for that!! ) and got to enjoy some live music on a truck. While we always appreciate local live talent, it was a tad louder than we would've liked but whatever. It didn't ruin the experience or anything. Just figured I'd mention it. Love bars that have the dollar bill fengshui. It's a fun way of telling a story of all the people who have come to visit from around the country - world, maybe? We took a minute to laugh at some of the ones posted near our table. Food was great. Asked for med rare burger and it came out more medium (again, whatever, flavor was all still there). Also got the Mac and cheese which was suuuuuper creamy and loaded with a ton of brisket. I also appreciated the bonus cornbread which was SO good. It was just a lot of food so we ended up taking like 25% of it home with us. Husband ate the mac at like 2am and said it was still great heated up. Overall, we will definitely be back to try some more menu items, but it seems like the burger selection is really where it's at.

Lizzie crushed it today. She had the whole upstairs patio to herself and was very attentive to everyone!

We went for brunch on a Saturday morning. It was misty outside but the outdoor area was well covered and we were able to still sit outside and enjoy it. Got an awesome Bloody Mary and the Goat Hash with home fries and scrambled eggs. I got the cheese on the side and glad I did. It was super good but I wouldn't have wanted my food bathing in it. My husband got the grilled cheese with pulled pork and tots. He very much enjoyed his too. I love to look around and see what other folks food looks like. Everything looked top notch, from drinks to breakfast to burgers. You won't be disappointed with the Goat!

Easily one of the best places to grab American fare on Hampton beach BY FAR. TBH they don't have to do much to get that title. Service is hit or miss I've had incredible service here and very flighty service. Ambiance is very much like a barn, it's very fun, you'll be hard pressed not to have a good experience here.

I should have listened to the top review. The wings were boiling hot to the touch but cold in the middle.

We've been to the Hampton Beach Goat a few times before, and the food is generally pretty good and we've never had an issue before. Today however our experience was terrible. Our waitress took forever to get the two waters we ordered. Then once we got our food she kept coming over to ask if we wanted anything else. Once we were done eating and our plates had been cleared away she still kept asking if we wanted anything else and we kept saying no, expecting that she would bring us the check since we obviously were done and ready to leave. Well we waited and waited and still no check as we watched her run around to other tables. My wife finally asked the bar tender if they could help us and they said "you have to deal with your waitress". She finally came back over and since she seemed very new I explained that once people are done eating and telling you they don't want anything else, that's when you bring them the check. She replied that she wasn't allowed to ask customers if they wanted the check! We were absolutely dumbfounded by how asinine that sounded. Did she really expect that we wanted to sit there all day long and drink our waters?? Needless to say she got no tip and we will never visit The Goat again, anywhere.

Maybe we just hit this place on an off night. The food going out to tables all looked so delicious and tasty as did ours ( nachos, teriyaki chicken wings, mac and cheese, build your own chicken sandwich, and the steak sub). However out of a party of four we all described our food as tasteless and bland. We were disappointed because everything presented as mouth watering until you tasted it and no actual flavors for any of it and the fries were floppy and lifeless. We all sampled each others to be sure. The wait was an hour and a half and the place packed. The wait staff were all very friendly and helpful tho.

We had high hopes for this place but the burger was only so-so. The mac and cheeses sound and look so fun, but were dripping with oil...which was strange cause they didn't feel cheesy enough...? The pork belly was good, but I wish had been a bit crispier to help push through the intense sweetness of the sauce since many slices were drowning in syrup. The service was great, attentive, polite. The decorum is quirky and fun and we ate on the second floor to overlook the area.

Pros: - Good music - Decent food - Good atmosphere Cons: - Mixed drinks are more watered down than the beach - Kids "mocktails" are legit more expensive than actual cocktails Would I come back.... With all the other places in the areas, doubtful.

stoped here n a weekday a few weeks back. we ordered the fried pickles, the bacon bucket, walk of shame burger, and a couple other entrees. drinks all around. i got one of the goat drink specials with rum. the fried pickles and fried right. crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside. the bacon strips were thick, weren't overcooked and dried out. my burger was cooked as ordered. the drink i had was on the lighter side, the shot glasses at the goat might be smaller than other bars? parking is street, a mix of paid meters and free parking spots. paid parking lots are abundant on the street.

The food was excellent started with a Bacon Bucket for appetizers with drinks. Old time fancy beach bar that's been here awhile. A large drink menu with interesting shot menu list. Tried the Blueberry Pancake Breakfast Shot. Build your own Bloody Mary's. I got the Crab Cake Benedicts that was amazing with a Skinny Pina Colada. Service not the fastest.

Gotta love the goat. Unreal staff and half of burgers Monday Tuesday. Great atmosphere in there. I recommend.

Terrible service-they over charged my card 4 times the amount I signed for. Spoke to management one time and then have been ignored for the last month after giving them time to resolve it. They robbed me, do NOT TRUST THIS BAR

Seriously a gem, just a block behind the strip. The most delicious sandwiches - highly recommend the goat melt w pulled pork. Husband loved the brisket and gf loved the pastrami. great vibe, live music, friendly service. Only negative with little kids were the condition of the bathrooms - try to remember to go before you arrive! We will be back.

We noticed a few advertisements for drinks on Facebook! Reminded us about last time we stopped in. It was a hard time to get seating and good service on our last experience. This past experience was not any different. We said our full party would be there In 5 mins or less with half the seating in the establishment available. They would not seat us. After the full party was there we felt nothing but a burden to be there. Very uncomfortable like we were doing something wrong just trying to enjoy a birthday with our group. It was extremely disappointing and I hope that the management changes their ways. If you like being uncomfortable and feeling like a burden definitely stop in. Highly recommend Bernie's down the street for a more welcoming staff.

This place is awesome - it really saved my vacation! So I won a vacation to Hampton Beach from the NY Times show, and ended up going in November as it was the only chance I had before it expired. We didn't realize how seasonal the town is until we arrived a tons of stuff was closed for the winter. Thank God for the Goat! The food was great. The drinks were awesome. The bartenders were accommodating. We came here for drinks on Friday night and back for the Saturday bloody mary/mimosa special. Tons of cool add ons for the bloody - and it was only $5 for a HUGE and delicious one! Mimosas were $10 but the size of maybe 4 regular ones - bonus - it also contained orange vodka! We only tried the poutine which was super tasty. We witnessed several other patrons eating and everything looked great! I can't imagine finding myself back in Hampton Beach, but if I do, the Goat is a must! Def check it out if you are in the area - it's without a doubt the best place in the neighborhood!

The food here was great. Portions were big but it was very delicious. The service was fast and efficient. I loved the unique setting with all the decorations. Definitely recommend going to you go to the beach.

I've been going to the Goat for several years now so this isn't some random drive by review. Normally, I would give the Goat a two star rating due to the mediocre service and edible food I've become accustomed to encountering. However, tonight was different. I'm use to their bartenders who think their "all that" but I let that go because they live in Hampton Beach. No, the bartender tonight was just downright rude. After finishing a meal with with one beer and closing out the tab, my friend and I decided to order one shot shot while waiting for our Uber. The bartender asked for me to finish my beer before she could serve me the shot. Both my friend and I being bartenders wondered why I couldn't get the shot while having just a sip left in my beer. Mind you, we complied and out of sheer curiosity we asked the bartender about the policy. She began to spout garbage about the NH liquor commission "cracking down" and said it wasn't allowed. Then we confronted her that we ourselves are also bartenders, in the same town, and having a shot with a beer has never been against NH policy as far as we knew. It's not that big of a deal really and eventually she backed down to say it was a policy of the company. Good for you Goat. If that's your policy, that's totally your choice. I'm not turned off by the policy, I just think some of your employees should consider not being so disagreeable. And I'm known for getting along with almost everyone. The Goat isn't an acronym for Greatest Of All Time, it's a stinky animal with horns. In regards to ambiance, Key West has way cooler stuff stapled to the walls and ceiling. Unoriginal.

The food was super good I got a cheeseburger and tater tots so crispy and crunchy and the burger was delicious and super juicy. The waitress was so fast and kind. They have live music and it's just an overall good experience!

That place are so good and interesting to observe money in everywhere. Dessert are tasty! A big cookie with ice cream on top~ . It's nice to able walk nearby to a beach. Service is good so far! I've went there twice.

Place was packed when we were there. And our waiter was wonderful! He hustled the whole time with a smile on his face. And the food was fantastic! French fries to die for! We never had to wait long for anything!

Stopped by a couple times over the July 4th weekend. First time we were on the ground level, the food and the drinks were decent. Stopped by a second time a couple days later and went to the second floor. Drinks contained little if any alcohol and was charged $16 per drink, what a disappointment! Ordered a Goat melt with pulled pork, waiter comes back a few minutes later and asked if I wanted cheese on the sandwich, seriously??? Not what it used to be and will not go back.

Cool small bar on inside, lots of dollar bills hanging, some rowdy but not crazy clientele .... Solid food, not too bad prices, and fast bar tenders. Good spot !!

I didn't think we'd be having our 1 year wedding anniversary dinner at a dive bar... but no regrets at all. It was a 2 minute walk from the beach, and it happened to be Monday so there was a 2 for 1 burgers deal! The special is valid with the purchase of a drink (which can be non-alcoholic), and there were so many specialty drinks that it wasn't hard to twist my arm into ordering one. I tried a Hillbilly Gatorade- quite tasty, but the alcohol was well hidden for sure. For burgers, we got the Walk of Shame and the Goat Thunder. Both were very hearty and filling burgers. They actually held together pretty well considering how big they were. I chose tumbleweeds (really thinly sliced onion rings) as my side and it was a huge portion. They were so good that my husband (who HATES onions) ate some! Anywhere else and these burgers could cost $20 something each. Not to mention, the food came out in record speed. Would return for their extensive burger list, maybe not for another anniversary but definitely after a day at the beach!

Great ambience food solid ,Quick app n drink before a show, great spot but left a bad taste in mouth cashing out..., You can ask my name a million times and even say it over ova so you must b in sales prior or read Dale Carnegie, You were doing great until I cash out if there is $8 left over do not take it upon yourself to keep my change especially when I ask you to break a$20 which your were getting more, even of a tip at first -but little things matter some time when moneys involved ... Slight maybe mistake but if your counting the draw at end of night that way good luck Moe, Other wise all good..

I absolutely love the Goat! They have such a great variety of menu items, enough to please everyone! I love both their brunch and dinner, so either is a great time to go! For their brunch menu, their goatcaine is absolutely insane. It is legit the size of your head and definitely a great drink to split with friends. They also have great pancakes and even breakfast nachos!

Loved everything about this place! We dined here on Monday night without a reservation and ended up waiting 30 mins for a table. It was our first time here! There was incredible live music that made the wait fun and the proximity to the beach led to a beautiful sunset. Food was great! We ordered some drinks and 4 different burgers, all of which were delicious. As an added surprise, our burgers were BOGO because it was Monday night! Highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Only downside is parking is difficult to find but there is a paid parking lot across the street if needed.

This place is absolutely the best. Nice little bar, with a dive bar feel, but with really nice staff. Beer was cold, food was great and would definitely recommend this place!

AMAZING. Every single thing we have ever gotten has been delicious! The Wednesday Wings special is crazy good, and it's just a really fun place to spend time. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Burgers were good, but drinks outrageous high. $17 dollars, very small and no alcohol in them. Stick with soda.

Awesome place to grab a bite , have some cocktails enjoy a game or some live entertainment.
