The Goethe hotel is exquisite in every way! We can’t say enough about our positive experience. From the moment you enter, every detail is perfection. The art, the tile, the light fixtures, the furniture. It is all luxurious and well placed. The service was impeccable…at check-in, breakfast, the lounge , the spa, we received excellent care from each staff member we encountered. The rooms are elegant and calming. The spa was a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day or before getting your day started in the morning. Truly, this boutique SLH hotel is the best example of what five stars experiences should be. Thank you for a wonderful 4-night stay in Rome!

An absolutely outstanding stay! The hotel in the heart of Rome is simply perfect – the rooms are brand new, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with spacious showers and high-quality amenities. The service is truly 5-star plus – the staff is wonderful, attentive, and genuinely warm, making every guest feel special. Breakfast is delicious, varied, and satisfying. The location could not be better, right in the center and within walking distance to all the main attractions. In short – a luxurious experience in every way, highly recommended for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Rome!

What a lovely find! The Goethe-themed hotel is a true hidden gem that beautifully captures the spirit of one of the greatest writers who adored Rome and Italy. The theme is executed with charm and attention to detail, adding a unique sense of magic to the experience.||The staff, led by Viorica and her wonderful team (Diana and rest), were simply amazing- courteous, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. They went above and beyond to make my milestone birthday unforgettable, with gestures that touched me deeply. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel so welcome that I honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Rome. Big thank you to everyone there!||Our accommodations were luxuriously comfortable, with stunning and unique décor throughout. I especially loved the high-quality products in the room, which added a touch of indulgence. The spa was another highlight-a private sanctuary with baths, jacuzzi, steam, and sauna. Everything was spotless, serene, and deeply relaxing.||The location could not be better: right in the very heart of Rome, ideal for exploring, yet also a peaceful escape from the city’s bustle. Truly the best of both worlds.||I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough- I really, really loved it, and I already miss it! This has become my new home in Rome, and I can’t consider staying anywhere else. An amazing and perfect experience in my favorite city.

We just stayed two nights in this lovely hotel. The staff are all impeccably professional, very friendly and incredibly helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, beautifully appointed and we have seldom slept so well in a strange bed.|We booked a private session in the the spa and I had a Thai massage which, thanks to Lolita, left me so relaxed I was barely conscious! Highly recommended. |We enjoyed dinner at the Affinity Restaurant. The food was delicious - perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. We were looked after so well by Sabrina and her wine recommendation was absolutely spot-on. We also can recommend after-dinner cocktails at the bar - the bartender makes a mean Mai Tai on request!|The location is also perfect - in a quiet sidestreet minutes away from the Via Corso and the Tiber. Many of Rome‘s attractions can be reached easily on foot. We are already making plans to return next year.

I don’t normally leave reviews but people need to know about this hotel. We have stayed in many five star, luxury hotels but The Goethe is in a class all on its own. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was an amazing experience. The hotel is beautiful, new and exquisitely decorated. The rooms are big, spotless and very comfortable. But the one thing that sets this place apart is the staff. They did everything possible to make sure that every need was met. Every time we turned around they were right there asking if they could help us in any way. Marta at the front desk was incredible. Can’t say enough about the staff! We spent the last couple of nights in Rome at The St. Regis and I have to say as incredible as this hotel is it doesn’t hold a candle to the wonderful staff of The Goethe! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

We had an unbelievable 8 day stay at the Goethe Hotel in Rome. We are Hilton Diamond members and this was by far of the best hotel we stayed at for a long time. My husband planned the itinerary for our trip and reached out to the hotel for recommendations ahead of time. Marta helped him with the itinerary, tours and suggested the restaurants for every night. Everything was perfect. The restaurants she suggested were very reasonable for Americans and were truly amazing. They had a large variety of food and options. We went to traditional Italian places, some with view and some with great decor, risotto place and a Mediterranean place. All exceptional. We can’t thank Marta enough for all her help. Everything was perfect starting with our arrival when Diana helped us to check in and had a cake delivered upon our arrival as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We also had a hand written note written on our bed and a special note for Hilton Diamond members. Our breakfasts were the true highlight with freshly prepared omelets, juices that were the best we have ever had! Giuseppe and Sabrina at breakfast were amazing and brought everything we asked for momentarily. Can’t thank them enough. We also had a great experience with Lorenzo who arranged our private spa times, taxis and helped us with directions. The spa at the hotel is incredible and is made in a style of Roman baths. We were able to make complimentary private reservation and went there almost every day before or after a full day of sightseeing and walking. It was another HUGE highlight. The hotel is very central and everything was in a walking distance. At the same time it wasn’t too central and had a very quiet and private feeling after a full day of crowds. It is quite small and has a feeling of a small modern palazzo rather than a large luxury hotel. The decor was very beautiful and creative and modern at the same time. This has been one of the best trips we have done and The Goethe Hotel made it truly special. I can’t wait to come back to gorgeous Rome and Goethe.

I could not say enough about this amazing hotel and staff. They held our luggage, checked us in early, delivered our luggage into our room, and were the most friendly people I could have the pleasure of meeting. The spa was included! We had a sauna, steam room, and hot tub to ourselves. Breakfast had plenty of finger foods and made to order food. This was beyond our expectations and most importantly my wife enjoyed it. Thank you to the Goethe hotel and staff for being incredible!

The hotel is modern, elegant, and beautifully decorated. Our room was big, spotless, and bed was very comfortable. The staff were professional, attentive, and always ready to help. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. One standout feature is the private spa experience—you can book it for 1.5 hours, and it can accommodate up to 4 people. It includes both dry and wet saunas as well as a hot tub, making it a perfect way to unwind after a long day. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, and great service.
