The Gold Bar and Western Bar

Old Salt! Update: Okay, so Old Salt is great, and The Gold Bar/Western are also pretty cool. I don't typically go to bars, but I do go to Old Salt all the time and I've never felt like Gold/Western was not the right place for Old Salt. I like a beer with my burgers, so ya, its absolutely a good fit. Gold Bar, you are an awesome place for a midday burger and beer. Thanks for responding and forcing me to be more specific in my review.

Bartenders and food are simply amazing! However the Dj for Karaoke was not great at all. I was told and saw on the list multiple times that I was a few songs away- and after 2.5 hours never sang one song. Then multiple people who came in after me sang 3 songs before me. Then the DJ told us me that my spot on the list had not changed. This has happened to me and my friends multiple times. Not gonna go back there for karaoke. The speakers were also crazy loud, to the point you couldn’t hear anyone else in the room. But again the bars and food are crazy good!

Very rude service by one of the staff members. My friend was drinking and I wasn’t as I was the one driving and we got kicked out as I didn’t have an ID. Supposedly had to have an ID just to be in the bar even if you’re not drinking which is ridiculous as 2 guys before us were not ID’d. The guy wasn’t even nice about it, very condescending and spoke down to us.

This was a quirky bar for me. You sit at a very cool old school wrap around bar and feel an awesome cowboy vibe, but behind you is the “old salt” burger kiosk slinging fast food. On the other side, behind the bar, is a room with casino a lot machines. One the other side is a pool table. At the bar, a few locals were drinking and swearing up a storm even though there was a table with a family sitting right behind them eating their burger from the Old Salt! It just was a bit awkward for me. I did like my beer and the bartender was nice. No wine for you though if you want that, or at least none my wife would drink. VictorB

Had absolutely the best experience at the gold having Brandon as my server! Never once had me waiting. He was literally the only person behind the bar getting orders done! Even on a busy Friday night. I’ll definitely be back as long as he’s working.

Came from Washington to see family. Went to the gold bar. Brandon was our server and he was so nice! He never forgot about us. I’ll definitely be coming back as long as he’s working!

This bartender is the worst one around here. Im not at this bar as much as another one and apparently he said just now I have been asking people for drinks when I have been getting people drinks myself. The other bars have never said that. Dont take drink offers from anyone, not even your friends unless you want to be kicked out. His name is nate btw

Food was good but they didn't offer me a drink and there bottle drinks are a bit pricey. They also told me I couldn't have my firearm in the building. It wasn't posted anywhere that firearms aren't allowed.
