I have to stop here when visiting Miami. This place is so over the top. They have the BEST deli sandwiches. My son loves their fresh salmon and hamburgers. They have everything here - wine, fresh seafood, pastas, ice creams - everything. I love their Miguelito sandwich! HIGHLY recommend this absolute gem!

Google
The Golden Hog Disappointed about the Spanish omelet!!! It looks great, very thick and well presented, however it does not have enough egg!!! The beauty about it is the right balance between egg and potato!!! So this is an expensive potato cake. The paella is similar since it is rice with very little sea food!!! A small container for $17!!!!!!! Do not recommend it!!!

Google
Easy five star rating. Hands down one of the best spots to grab dinner in Miami. This place is part gourmet market filled with cool imports such as the chocolate Mozart balls from Vienna, part hot food counter, part coffee shop (with pastries), and part steak house. The owner and staff are all incredibly hard working and friendly and the food all tastes amazing. Have had different meals each time and every time Golden Hog delivers. A+

Google
Island life is really different. Seems like we got away from urban life. We enjoyed in Golden Hog taking lunch in deli area. Chef cook prepared fresh lamb and burger from the scratch. That was delicious. No pricey. French fries can be different, more thicky. Except that fantastic place. Seafood area is awesome with plenty of choices

Google
THIS PLACE IT’S ABSOLUTELY THE “OVER THE TOP” GOURMET IN THE ISLAND. Fresh, high quality and vast selection of food products. Terrific costumer service and most important the owners are always present to make sure that their patrons will get always what we need!

Unfortunately, my visit to Golden Hog was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a bakery. The place is under renovation, which naturally causes some discomfort for customers. However, in situations like this, one would expect extra effort to provide good service. What happened was the exact opposite. I went to the ordering area and requested two coffees and a sandwich. To my surprise, the attendant, Eddy Lumbi, rudely told me that I had to leave the store and enter through another door to order the sandwich, even though he was behind the same counter and there was no physical barrier separating the two areas. The worst part is that I had placed my full order at this same spot on previous occasions without any issues. His attitude seemed like pure unwillingness to help. Because of this, I decided not to order the sandwich and only asked for the coffees. After paying and waiting, they only gave me one coffee. The second one never arrived, so I checked the receipt and saw that the same employee had only registered one coffee, despite my initial order. I had to go back and order the second one again. After this series of issues, I asked to speak with the manager. A staff member informed him about my dissatisfaction, and I waited for over 30 minutes, but he never came to speak with me. Golden Hog used to have good service, but it has clearly lost its focus on customer care. With poor organization, an unwilling staff, and a complete lack of interest in solving problems, I see no reason to return. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Google
Don’t understand this place….poor selection, so many products missing and good luck getting help with questions. I literally bought: 1 crème 1 bag chips 1 orange juice 1 Parmesan crumbs 1 half & half 2 meatballs from hot bar 1 bar soap and my total was $87 🤯 if you walk through that front door they will legally rob you

Google
Fantastic boutique grocer / deli / cafe in a simple strip mall. Plenty of parking and a few tables / chairs for those who want to sit outside. Great fruit / vegetable, cheese and wine selection. A lot of imported items that you won’t find elsewhere in Miami. It’s not inexpensive but - small as it is - it’s a premium experience w/ very friendly and helpful service.

Yelp
Great gourmet grocery and pre cooked meals. And a fresh grill eatery all inside an amazing key biscayne gem !! Service - amazing !! Weekends are packed for brunch / lunch (family friendly ) ( tooooooo many screaming kids on most weekends)

Yelp
BEWARE, NOT ACCEPTABLE: Thanksgiving Turkey ordered for 12-12:30pm delivery but was NOT DELIVERED UNTIL after 3:00pm!!! I had PAID EXTRA for specific delivery. Order #41257. A badly roasted turkey with BURNT sections was finally delivered

Yelp
First class customer service. Excellent staff very helpful and accommodating. Quality oozes from the Golden Hog in Key Biscayne. Professional people and very good food.

Yelp
What a pleasant store, come cafe, come restaurant. We tried their coffees, a pastry and some of their breads. All were delicious. You can also order gourmet food to go or also sit in and sample full blown meals to include steaks, lobster etc. I recommend. Be noted though it is not cheap.

Yelp
Delicious food, friendly staff, informal dress code, excellent takeout . Convenient parking

Yelp
I love this place. Delicious sandwiches and when you go during the holidays, it's overflowing with all kinds of treats. It's on the pricier side, but they have great selections.

Yelp
I came here searching for a place that could cater a group of 25, they had so many incredible options to choose from, but I ended up choosing their individual lunch box options and let my guests choose from their sandwich options (there were so many choices!). When I tell you that every single person (I believe it was 25 total) came up to me after lunch and just raved about what they each had, and how it was the best meal they have been served while on set, it is no understatement! We will absolutely be utilizing your market again for catering groups of all sizes, as well as anytime we are on the island and need a fresh and delicious meal!

Yelp
Freshly grilled meats/seafood and a versatile market all in one! This is one of my favorite places to stop in for lunch or dinner in key biscanye. It's casual but upscale, and they have a lot of cool international products to browse. I shared the pincanha steak with fries and grilled veggies, and they conveniently split it into two portions. The steak was delicious and enhanced by the fresh chimichurri.

Yelp
Esta Hamburguesa Signature está de locos. Ven con suficiente hambre, es gigante a un precio que da risa ($15). Me sentí atendido por su personal como restaurante de 5 estrellas. Bien por ellos. Vendré próximamente por la parrilla.

Yelp
I love this place. I'd been looking for a good gourmet market for awhile and was very excited when I visited the Golden Hog for the first time today. Surprisingly, it is a one stop shop for pretty much anything you'd need. I think it's rare to find gourmet grocery stores that carry everything, but this one seemed to. They have a great selection of cheese, meats, mustards, artisan jams and honeys, wine, and olives - most of which are from European brands. They have so many European snacks, cookies, candies, and cooking and baking ingredients. They also have a vast selection of fresh produce as well as what looked to be fresh pastries - however I'm not sure if they're made in house or sourced elsewhere. There is a fresh fish counter as well, which I was excited to see. I was looking for fresh bread, but unless I missed it, I didn't see anything special. They do carry typical brands, like Dave's Killer Bread, but if you're looking for a freshly baked loaf, you'd probably want to rely on a nearby bakery. I didn't try any of their made to order food because I didn't stop in around a meal time, but I plan to in the future. They have a few tables to sit at if you choose to dine in. It is reasonably priced relative to what you'd find at other grocers, but this market is much higher quality. The more expensive products are unique European imports, so it's understandable. The employees were extremely kind - the cheesemonger gave us a sample and a thorough explanation of some cheeses. Overall, shopping here was a lovely experience.

Amazing go to for healthy food and great gifts! The lunch program for the kids is amazing! Catering services are always on time! Love their Green Vitality Smoothie!

Yelp
The Golden Hog is a super cute local market on Key Biscayne. From the meats and cheeses, to prepared foods, wine and beer etc - you can find a slew of delicious eats and drinks. I visited recently and picked up a sandwich and pasta salad. The sandwich was huge, you can most definitely split it with someone. I loved browsing the aisles as they offer a mix of every day essentials and some luxury splurges. There is a small area for indoor seating, too. This is the perfect spot to pick up some beach day essentials.

Matthew B.

Yelp
Best grocery store ever. Epic sandwiches (try the "MIGUELITO" as-is). Mgmt and workers are usually extremely helpful and nice. Once they brought a box of pasta to me as a favor after closing time since I didn't have a vehicle at the time. Also AMAZING hot / Prepared-Food Options. Everything from BEEF Ribs that literally fall [Completely-Off] the bone, to a very fine version of PAELLA, & even a Super-rare, {though-not-under-cooked at all} Super-Rare PRIME RIB ROAST good for entrees or Sandwiches. Professional bakers & French Desert MAkers on staff.

Yelp

Yelp
You know when they say what went wrong? Well, almost everything was wrong with this place. It started with me going into the driveway the wrong way. Thanks to the nasty guy in the golf cart by showing me how much of an idiot I was. Did many 3 point turns to get into gear and find the correct entrance. If you are claustrophobic, you are in for a treat. The place is packed. I felt so out of place that my Target T-shirt and my Walmart jeans weren't good enough for the high end dressed clientele. If you like to be pushed around, again this is the place for you. No one says excuse me. They push you out of the way. The only person who treated me like I wasn't chopped liver was the cheese monger. When my daughter and I left, again, you do not get the right of way when backing out of your spot. The entitled BMW moron about hit my backside because he thought he had the right of way. Oh, wait a minute. Maybe I was in the wrong for coming here to begin with.

Isabella R.

Yelp
When buying products from golden hog I highly suggest doing a thorough look at the expiration dates. Not sure why when I went in to buy a pasta sauce I noticed half of the bottles on the inventory are 6 months past the expiration date. Not to mention the prices here are incredibly high, make sure you get products that aren't expired. Also worth going to windixie for simple things like kombucha or produce, as a kombucha is $3.59 at WD and nearly 7 dollars for the same brand at Golden Hog.

Yelp
The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I did not get to try their food. But I am definitely going to go back to do so! The place is very welcoming and has a nice vibe. After some friends raged about their alfajores, I knew I had to go buy some. I have a huge sweet tooth and let me just say these are incredible. They crumble in your mouth, aren't too sweet, and are mini! They make for the perfect bite to satisfy a sweet craving. The alfajores definitely get 5 stars!! Can't wait to go back to update my review once I try their menu.

Yelp
Golden Hog is a KB icon. A high end Deli/Market for all your gourmet, quality food needs. You can find a lot of stuff here that may not necessarily be at your big name grocery store. This place is good to visit, even if only for window shopping. Highly recommend their sandwiches though, especially the golden hog. The pork with onions is truly out of this world good!! The cheese section is not to be missed with lots of international gems. Enjoy with a wine or two! :)
google avatar

Yelp
The store carries many items. Butcher counter had some really nice cuts of meat. The pasta area had so many types it was hard to choose. The dining area smelled excellent and food options. Worth a visit for sure!

Yelp
A shot in the past as i worked on this beautiful island in the past. I love coming here then and now its such a cool market place . Design for high end clients but priced in a way anyone can afford all these delicious products and foods. We got the Carpaccio beef wow i cant get it at a restaurant but i got it here and the vacuum sealed it for me! It was very delicious yummy! Lots of good oils and baked goods and a fantastic deli . We got probably the best croissants i have eaten since Paris . The cheese section is crazy and love the mortadella long sausage style packing and the chunks of Parmesan wow it actually melts in your mouth. We got some Brazilian bread wow so good there is so much here good for a trip and youll be there a while. Good social distancing and staff is nice and helpful. Love the mask thank you! I will return to have lunch its a treat there.

Yelp
What an amazing gourmet food shop! We stopped in here and were impressed with all the items we just can't get in a regular grocery store: sauces, meats, chocolates, etc. Lots of fresh produce as well, plus nice deli, bakery, and meat/seafood counters. There's a great selection of wine, and there's a salad/hot foods bar for lunch/dinner. You wouldn't go here for routine items, like paper goods, but for stocking the pantry and fridge it's an awesome place.

Yelp
What a nice find in Key Biscayne! They have so much here! It's a cool unique grocery store that has a great deli and bakery items. Highly recommended to pick up all your food before heading to the beach! Restrooms are in the back as well.

I LOVE the Golden Hog! This place has amazing food and a very friendly staff! Good prices and great choices.

Yelp
Amazing selection of delicatessen. Prices are excessively expensive. The cashiers are typically very nice. The rest of employees walk around with nasty faces just like they hate their jobs. Nasty people.

Yelp
I had heard wonders of this cute little shop in Key Biscayne and today, I finally had the chance to scope it out! Lot's holiday themed gift baskets and snacks, definitely high quality items. They have a juice bar, deli and hot food bar. I was a bit in a rush so I had some to-go food, I tried the salmon, with steamed veggies and rice. Absolutely delicious. Other alternatives were asado negro, and chicken breast in a green-ish sauce. All looked delicious and it was a tough selection! The salmon was a bit overcooked but not a big deal. I also tried a small portion of their soup of the day which was 'chicken tortilla' soup. It was below average, it tasted like very bland chicken soup. They also have pastries, empanadas, and such. The definitely a cute stop to visit when in KB. Sorry- no pictures as i was in a rush! The store was very packed, and i really did not see any social distancing happening. Some guests were not wearing masks, which was odd.. perhaps they were short staffed, but i think both safety precautions should be enforced.

Yelp
The Golden Hog has continued to raise their prices, now charging $15 for a sandwich. This is $15 for a sandwich created at a snail's pace, with zero service included. It is a madhouse at any hour and they continue to raise prices because they have a monopoly within key biscaynes small deli/grocer market. This is not to mention the self serve meal line, which for a piece of meat and a green will cost you well over $25. As someone who has lived in key Biscayne my whole life, I am shocked and infuriated by the stranglehold and raised prices Golden Hog continues to get away with.
google avatar

Yelp
Tiny market, but packs a punch with an awesome wine selection and great cheese. Pretty solid deli.
google avatar

Roxana A.

Yelp
This is great for lunch. Avoid going in lunch our rush. Very long lines in deli/salad. I had to wait an hour half to served in the deli section.

Ted S.

Yelp
Some people shouldn't be working here but others are amazing. This place has a great inventory and very good prices but needs to clean up in the staff. There are workers here that are amazing and helpful and there are some that should never, ever meet a customer. Message to the manager: If you haven't done already, please inform your staff or remind them that they are working in a service business and it's good if they make their customers feel welcome and provide good service.
google avatar

JT B.

Yelp
I love coming here for the wine, salt, and small things you enjoy with the high life who shop here. Quality is key. The guy behind the cheese counter was a jerk.
google avatar

Cheryl L.

Yelp
This small market is very nice and is always busy. They have everything from fresh meats and cheeses to seafood. They have a great hot/cold salad bar and a wonderful selection of high end items. It truly is the perfect spot for this upscale market. The sandwiches are freshly prepared and they are out of this world. They choose only the finest quality so you get what you pay for. They have an array of specialty items that you will not find at a typical market. If you have high standards and want more than just your average store, then this is your place. Looking forward to returning soon.
google avatar

Alexandra A.

Yelp
I was charged $15 for a very small plate of food, because the cashier charged my entire plate under tilapia. The cashier failed to tell me that he was going to charge me this extended amount until after I paid. As you can see, I had two very small pieces of this fish-so charging me $15 for my entire plate was a little excessive. I hope that in the future the cashiers will tell customers about separating the food groups before overcharging.
google avatar

camile c.

Yelp
$2.68 for a bottle of water. $15 for a small plate of food, average taste. At 12:30PM waited for someone to serve lunch on the grill, nobody there. Waited 15min, nobody showed up. Manager always tapping on his phone, saw me and didn't care. Dirty floors and refrigerators, dirty bathrooms, strong chemicals like Clorox in bathrooms, overpriced for what to offer in terms of products and customer service. South American crowd.
google avatar

Yelp
This gourmet market was a nice find for us after a long hot day out just a few months ago. We've designated it our spot in Key Biscayne every time we come for a run. They have thousands of items to choose from. You are sure to find at least one thing you love here. Here is a list of some items they offer; Hot food bar -with rotating menu selections Cold food bar (salad, fruit) Cold salad bar (ie Pasta & Potato salads) Full deli Deli sandwiches made to order Fresh squeezed OJ Espresso bar Packaged gourmet items- jams, jellies, sauces, spreads, crackers, etc. Cheeses by the pound Olive bar ($10.95/lb) Fresh produce (with cool things like dragon fruit, champagne grapes, figs, etc) Bottled/Can beverages - domestic/imported, novelty Dairy- milk, yogurt Bottled beer and wine Frozen desserts- ice cream etc Bakery- cookies, brownies, galettes, poundcakes, merengues, empanadas, tequeños, and so much more. They lose a star because as much as I like this place, having so many items means a slower turnaround rate = everything cannot possibly be fresh all of the time...and it isn't :(
google avatar

Derek G.

Yelp
We AirB&B a place here and so glad this market/cafe was walking distance. The food is really good quality. I found the fresh backed food amazing and really authentic in taste. The staff was very welcoming! Places like this help make vacations better!

Yelp
Yum this place is great, their to go sandwiches are all excellent. Hot and cold buffet bars are great as well as gourmet grocery items, produce and nice wine selection.
google avatar

Christian R.

Yelp
This place is a small local grocery store but also has lunch options. You can go to the deli counter and order a sandwich or plate some of their hot food at the buffet style counter. The food here is good can't complain about that. Their sandwiches are made fresh to order and taste very good. They are also decently priced for lunch. On the other hand, their buffet style counter is charged by the pound. So today for lunch I grabbed some pasta and some shrimp. It definitely weighed about a pound but pasta is heavy. They charged me almost $20 a lbs! My medium sized lunch ended up being $19. I guess you live and you learn but jeez this was supposed to be lunch not dinner! Also, there is minimal parking because of the construction and it floods very easily.

Yelp
Dear Golden Hog, Why it's taken me this long to discover you, I don't know. But what I do know is that I am eternally grateful that I did, because lunch on the Key has never been the same since! A good friend of mine told me she got the most amazing soup here one day before her ballet class that she teaches to a local school. The next day, not knowing what I wanted to eat, I decided to drive over here and give you a look. I fell in love with the layout of your store, since you are both a market for specialty & gourmet items, such as fruits/veggies, dairy products, organic snacks, and even a great selection of "weird" beers, and you serve a buffet of freshly-made hot food items, that look absolutely delicious and are purchased "by the pound"; so one just has to make themselves a plate and take it to the cashier to be weighed. There's also a bakery counter with tons of delicious desserts, from cupcakes to mousse. The deli counter has a great selection of meats and cheeses, as well as cold salads (egg, tuna, chicken, shrimp), crab legs, seaweed salad, and other things I'm forgetting right now. Anything can be made into a sandwich, and there's a variety of breads to choose from. I've enjoyed every sandwich I've tried, from jamon serrano to the egg salad. All of the ingredients are so fresh and the sandwich so large, I always have enough to take some home to my fiancee, who loves it all just as much. On more than one occasion I've run into coworkers here, which has been nice since it's allowed for an impromptu lunch meeting. Definitely my new favorite place for lunch! Thanks for the wonderful meals and great experience. It is a pleasure coming here. All the best, SabrinaAnna*

Yelp
Cool Local Deli / Farmers market Always busy, Excellent selection of good products that are not available at the local supermarket. They have delicious fresh sandwiches, and huge selection of cheeses. Since they expanded the new area with fresh grilled meats and burgers is delicious. Without a doubt this is the best burger on key Biscayne and its $10. If they delivered for lunch and dinner i am sure they could compete with the restaurants.

Yelp
I ordered a truffle burger from here and I can't stress this enough, it was the WORST burger I have ever had in my entire life for that price. First of all, they ran out of truffles so they just dumped truffle oil on it, which I didn't find out about until I picked up the burger. The cheese was not melted at all and the bun was soggy from the truffle oil. The fries it came with were also extremely soggy, undercooked, and on top of that, cold. The whole meal fell apart in my hands as I tried to eat it and I had to finish the mangled remains of the burger with a fork. They didn't even give me ketchup to help scarf down the bland fries. This happened about 3 weeks ago and I was willing to give them another try, but I saw the burgers they were making and immediately left. You would think a burger over $12 would be good but don't come here unless you want to waste your money.

Yelp
Love this place for all my unique food finds! It had quality products that you cant just find anywhere which is what I love about Golden Hog. They also have the BEST cheese and olive collection throughout all of Key Biscayne. I also love their deli meats-- best I've ever had! I also recently tried some green juice at their juice bar and was very impressed. I love getting items here for special occasions.

Yelp
The Hog is phenomenal! Carefully curated and authentic food and beverages (cheeses, wines, chocolates, etc.) from all over the world. They also have an amazing--and well-priced--fresh meat and seafood grill for those who want to eat in. It's also worth mentioning that the staff is wonderful. Shoutout to Harold, Alexis, and Joe (awesome chef)!

Yelp
Alomst impossible to park however they sell Boars Head meats, fresh bread, and delicious spreads. Also a cute grocery store area inside.

Julie L.

Yelp
This place has great potential the food/sandwiches are really good. For this reason I am giving it 3 stars instead of 1. The service is absolutely terrible. Don't bother trying to order ahead online and picking a time because it won't be done. I have given this place 3 chances and they have consistently failed. So disappointing

Yelp
Amazing cafe! Service was fast and the food amazing!! Very fresh. The Chef does an amazing job. Prices very reasonable considering where the cafe is. Will definitely be going back when in the area.

Yelp
The array and variety of food products is unbeatable in the KB/Brickell area. I find everything from dried buttermilk to Beaujolais wines, to rare spices such as for peppernødder cookies. The fridge is stocked with different sodas such as French Lorina lemonade. It seems like a farmer's market with all the different and fresh produce. Many different dairy products to choose from, great creamy yogurts and cheeses. The aisles are euro-centric but well so. Their chocolate selection is excellent as well (not including the French candy wall at the entrance, merveilleux!) Carmichael the cheesemonger knows well how to pair you with exactly what you need and has a large variety to choose from. Good pairings are right in front such as jams, truffle honeys, and crackers. The deli and sandwich part is very good as well, there is definitely a sandwich for everyone. My personal favorite is the summer with Brie, mango chutney, apples, and ham. The salad bar and prepared foods is fresh and the menu changes daily. Prepared foods is very good and definitely a choice from everyone (there is always a choice of beef, chicken, fish, and pasta). Salad bar is also extensive. The bakery has a selection of Zak the Baker products as well as their own. The desserts are not very good and often too sweet (with the exception of the alfajores). But the tequeños, empanadas, and cookies from the jar are great, especially for an afternoon treat. Love their OJ machine and selection of teas. The store is overall pretty pricey but worth it, I go there for all my specialty and fine food needs.

Yelp
This chef Marcos, who is making food- I think he is the Best in whole Miami. I love just everything what he does. Fish, meat salad... on the top he does it fast with love and joy. I feel it . We coming to eat here at least ones- two times a week.
