The Good Egg Margate Review - Margate - London - The Infatuation

"Like all good eggs, this Middle Eastern-inspired Margate spot is cheerful and supremely likeable—plus a great place to get brunch classics. Just like its London siblings in and . You’ll sit down with a single thought in mind—eggs. But then treats on the counter catch your eye. Babka with a chocolate swirl, speckled, sesame pastries filled with feta, and gooey cookies. We can save you some time—get everything. The skillet of shakshuka is a staple for a reason. It’s a hashtag-no-filter combination of pink pickled onions, orange gooey eggs, and crispy, deep green capers. A spoon of this with the punchy preserved lemon yoghurt, smeared on the fluffy pita is the perfect brunch bite. At this point you might be sinking back against the chalky pink walls, fit to burst, but get some counter treats for the road. " - Sinéad Cranna

The Good Egg in Camden will leave you wanting more. We got their Sabih, Lox Bagel, and Zoo fries to share. The flavors brought new combinations that we had never experienced before – little bursts of deliciousness in every bite. The overall vibe is nice, made even better by its friendly staff. It's definitely a spot to hit up for some great food!

The staff were really nice. I liked how you can see pictures of the food on the digital menu and you can pay through your phone. The food was generally nice, but I thought there were too many flavours going on. Also I got the lamb hash and it was too much potatoes and not enough lamb

Food was delicious, we had a bit of a delay in the delivery but the service more than compensated. Would recommend if you wanna seat, take a break and enjoy good food!

Was there last weekend and they have the knafeh sandwich which was a bit out of common to me at first but was super delicious with the bread indeed having control on the syrup yourself. And the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Will be my regular spot in camden. Good luck..

This place has one of the top three BABKAs I’ve ever had, and it makes me forget the other two! Perfect blend of crispy, soft, and squishy. Fantastic! Five stars!

The food was spectacular and fast, and the treatment of the staff was 10/10. Carolina always with a smile and the other guy (sorry, I can't remember your name) too.

Food was great, we came for brunch. The menu options were interesting variations on classic brunch meals and very tasty. I would have liked to stay longer to try the babka, but had to leave in a rush in the end. Unfortunately the toilet facilities were just the paid for ones in the market which were pretty gross. Not the restaurants fault, but still a bad experience. Staff weren't very friendly or helpful when I asked about baby change facilities.

We enjoyed the most fantastic brunch here this week. The staff were all so friendly and the food amazing. My lamb hash was the tastiest meal I had during my 4-day London break (And we ate out lots. ) It was our server's first day on the job and she was just delightful! Thank you Team Good Egg at Camden!

Yelp
Yolk Breaker you got the best of me, But I just keep on coming back incessantly... what a genius concept! egg sandwiches with 100 different toppings and flavors - why didn't we think of this before? I know - you got to beat the egg for a while and nobody's got time for that, right? Yes but not only do they do the beating for you, they use 100% free range farm eggs. Amazing. I added avocados on mine because I was feeling bougie and it did not disappoint. Brioche bun, perfectly cooked scrambled egg, cheesy goodness, mashed avocado and onions. heavenly. I found it at Camden Market and nowhere else :(

Yelp
Place has really good egg sandwiches. I got the yolk breaker (what they are supposed to be known for) and it was really good! I think that it is a little too expensive. Very good food but if they could bring down the price by a pound or two it would be great and not just really good. I would still eat there again.
