Absolutely delicious! Stopped for a breakfast sandwich and we were not disappointed. I did a make your own breakfast sandwich with havarti, arugula, and herb aioli. The sandwich was soooo tasty! The bread is perfect and it was so good! My husband loved the lumberjack sandwich. Definitely eat here!

Super delicious sandwiches! Bread was perfectly toasted, egg was cooked perfectly, and the bacon was nice and thick. We got the gardener and the bodega and we loved both of them. You know it’s good when nobody talks while eating!

This place is 100% seed oil free and they use organic greens, pasture raised eggs, and pork. High quality food and love that they care about where they source the ingredients on their menu. I appreciate that they use avocado oil when preparing their sandwiches. I ordered the DIY sandwich with eggs, caramelized onions, Parmesan cheese and arugula. The toasted sourdough was amazing. Highly recommend stopping by when you are in Stillwater.

The best gluten-free sandwich I’ve ever had in my life — hands down! I got The Outlaw on gluten-free toast with avocado, and it was literally the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Everything was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and fresh. I’ll absolutely be returning — it’s so rare to find gluten-free food this good! And it’s a seed oil free kitchen- SUCH A GEM!!

I substituted the vegetarian patty for a meat choice and it did not disappoint. I added no egg or cheese but did have tomatoes, spinach and the pesto, which does contain some parmesan cheese if dairy is a problem for you. The sandwich was amazing! I would definately eat here again!

So good, expansive menu with lots of add-ons for their egg sandwiches. The sourdough is fresh and they have great service. Plus it is right next to River Siren, so .... BEER!

Sign and Google says they open at 8am, was here at 8:40 looking forward to a gluten free breakfast option and they weren’t open. I would try it again if I come back since the reviews are so good! But it would be really helpful to try to update hours if not opening. 😔

Seriously the best egg sandwich I have ever had! The sourdough bread is amazing. High quality ingredients and the homemade sauces they use are so good! They are a trailer parked in the River Siren Brewing parking lot in Stillwater. Plenty of parking available and awesome river views! Plenty of seating available on the River Siren patio. The staff and service are always top notch even when they get busy. Check their socials for hour updates.

Yup, that's a great egg sandwich! Super friendly staff. 10 mins or less wait time. Pricey but worth it! ($12 average per sandwich). All on sourdough bread, mmm. Very filling too! They have regular coffee. And outdoor table seating.

Nothing but great things to say about The Good Egg. Besides the sandwiches being absolutely amazing the service and efficiency stood out even more. Sunday mid morning line was a little long but we were reassured 'it's worth the wait'. The young man taking orders put on a masterclass In efficiency handling the ordering line. He would take as many orders as the griddle could hold then pause the line and double book it to help cooks prepare the orders. This worked flawlessly and cut down on a big wait times for orders. These sandwiches are insanely good. The breakfast sandwich is served on a thick sourdough toasted piece of bread. The ingredients in between are fresh and intentionally sourced! Come early, because if it's a nice day there will be a line! Also, they don't serve iced coffee which is a bummer, but there are other options down the street that they seemingly promote without ill will. There's tons of a seating as well!

Great breakfast! Food was tasty and came in a reasonable about of time. Orange juice was fresh and had the perfect amount of sweetness. I wish they offered hash browns/potatoes as a side, but the sandwich was good. I would eat this again.

Good service from a local food truck. The sandwiches were quite large, and you could put a wide variety of things on them from avocado to bacon to sausage. And, of course cheese. It really hit the spot!

Cute little food truck and plenty of seating and super kind staff. My partner and I got the classic 'bodega' and the outlaw. Both were absolutely delicious! We definitely will come back the next time we're in town.

a trip across the street from the Crosby to @thegoodeggmn - I had high hopes based on reviews but can't say it was my favorite. the wait was 30 minutes plus my sandwich specifically (the gardener) was overloaded with sauce. i think I might've just ordered the wrong thing since my partner got the classic and it was delicious

Duuuude. A breakfast sandwich food truck, my dream come true. Staff was super friendly and had good vibes flowing, high energy even on a rainy day. Love that they use locally made sour dough bread all the way from St. Cloud - the lumberjack sandwich was filling and delicious - I could've used more cry baby Craig's aoli because who doesn't love more aoli? I also had a locally brewed lavender kombucha - yum! I'll definitely be going back to try different Sammie's.

My husband and I got egg sandwiches when we were visiting the brewery. The combination of an egg sandwich and beer is so good. We ordered and they told us it would be a few minutes. We found a place to sit, got our beer and the sandwiches were ready. The service was friendly. The food truck was clean and attractive.

The egg sandwiches are great. I love that they have awesome gluten free bread. But when the heck are they open?? This summer, we checked their website & Instagram for their hours... & 4 of the 5 times we stopped (when it was supposed to be open), it was closed. A few Fridays ago (when it said it was open until 8pm), we saw it was open, pulled into the parking lot & watched the guy pull the trailer flaps down right in front of us... at 5:50pm. I knocked on the window & the younger of the 2 staff that we've encountered (who is always very unpleasant) told me that info was wrong & they closed at 6pm. I told him it was 10 minutes to 6pm & he shrugged & said he was shutting down. That was a few weeks ago & their hours still say it closes at 8pm...

Absolutely love the concept of this food truck- fried egg sandwiches! They have a variety of sandwiches including vegetarian options. They also fry with avocado oil rather than a seed oil. The service was prompt and helpful. We waited about 15 mins for our two sandwiches on a Saturday morning, which wasn't too long for a downtown Stillwater location. The set up they have with River Siren Brewery is convenient. We were able to use their outdoor picnic tables for seating. My husband got The Lumberjack, and loved it. He said you gotta be hungry though for the size of the order. I got the Gardner which was heavy but also refreshing with the added avocado and tomatoes. I enjoyed the herb aioli, which had a strong dill flavor. They have many recommendations for add-ons as well. The packaging for their sandwich is smart- you get a boat and the sandwich is wrapped. This combination made the messy meal easier to enjoy. You want a fried egg sandwich to be a little messy! We will be back!

Wow....just wow... I ate here on the morning of my wedding, hands down one of the top three sandwiches I've ever had in my life. I got the lumberjack, the portion was huge, the sandwich had so much flavor...the garlic aioli was a perfect mix in all of it too! I opted to add avocado as well. A damn good sandwich..just writing this is making me crave another one! The owner was excellent to chat with and we shared good stories while he prepped my sandwich. Also noteworthy all the ingredients are local, good quality fare. No nasty ingredients that leave you feeling sluggish and bloated all day. 10/10 will eat here again and I recommend it to anyone! Keep up the great work!

Best food truck ever! Brilliant location, directly across from our hotel that doesn't serve breakfast. I haven't had a delicious breakfast sandwich in years due to gluten issues. The GF bread they serve is the best I have ever had. The avocados they serve taste like they are fresh from California. The bacon egg and cheese was cooked to perfection. If I am back in Stillwater, this is the first place I am coming back to!

One of my top ways to determine if a restaurant is going to be good is the quality of their coffee or tea. The Good Egg started strong with a very good cup of coffee and with this strong start I wasn't surprised when the sandwiches were also great. The eggs were done perfect and the bread, nicely toasted and buttery, had the right amount of chewiness. I'd highly recommend as a great place to grab a breakfast sandwich and coffee. The ambiance of taking a seat along the beautiful St. Croix review to drink your coffee and eat your breakfast is also definitely a plus.

The sandwich was unique and very tasty. The sausage they make in house. The employees were very helpful, even though they were short staffed. Will definitely go again.

I really wish them well. But today- they said 15"; it was 25". And they got my order wrong. I asked for ham steak; got bacon. And one with sausage. Sausage was so small when I cut/it in half none was on the other side. And couldn't find the cheddar. I'm glad they are successful but they've lost my business. I used to come regularly, but no more. Tourists must be more valuable than locals. But he came back to hometown.?.

This healthier quick food option has exceptionally delicious menu items. I only had the opportunity to try one (the gardener) and it was delicious, but talking to locals, it's clear this is a beloved place. The service was expedient, friendly and they were helpful in directly me to grab a table and eat at the River Siren Brewing Co.

This food truck (permanent) is a FIND! We ordered two breakfast sandwiches called The Bodega and we are VERY happy we did! We ran across the street to get coffee from the Daily Grind (superb coffee) and when we got back, our sandwiches were just coming off the grille. The BEST quick breakfast you will ever have. Yum.

Food was ok, but the wait was ridiculous over 40 minutes. Had we known that probably not ordered there. They told us a 25 min wait...Not

At 9:10pm, the lights were still on, as if it were still open but the guy said "I hate to tell you but we are closed." The guy in front of me got served, and there were people still walking up there to order, it seemed like. Perhaps this place only favors certain people... really not fair at all.

Excellente!! I was not a fan of egg sandwiches until I tried The Good Egg and now I'll no question return for another.

The food is so good...I eat the at least twice a week. I would say the best breakfast choice in Stillwater!! Also Ryan the owner is alway there to greet you with a smile!!

Eggs-ellent! Highly recommend. We went on Wednesday for lunch, and we're going back today (Sunday) for breakfast.

Stopped here on Sunday morning with my son. We each got a sandwich. So good! I told my son it was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The sausage was incredible! Seed oil free is a huge plus!!

I had the Aquarius and it was great. The staff was very nice and I will definitely be going back. The coffee was also great.

Went here with a friend for brunch yesterday. The egg sandwiches were phenomenal and we had great service. They're parked in a nice spot close to the river to take for a picnic or also have some tables set up to eat near the food truck. My friend really liked the ham sandwich and I loved the homemade veggie patty on mine. Also-love fresh avocado on anything and everything! It's a great little breakfast stop in downtown Stillwater!

We stopped for breakfast today. I had the B.E.S.T. (BLT) with gluten free bread - delicious! My partner had the Lumberjack with avocado and loved it. The coffee was pretty darn good as well.
