The Good Kind is a creation of "Tim the Girl" - pretty cool name, if you ask me. Her location has moved from The Pearl, to Southtown, but it's just as good as it was at the original location. TRUST me!!
Things have changed with all of this COVID-19 business going on, but I definitely feel safe with the safety measures they have in place, so show some love, and give her some business - even if it's for pickup or delivery.
Now, on to the food review! We had the cauliflower "chicken" wings. Don't let the word "cauliflower" scare you off. These were very tasty, and the sauce made them taste like real hot wings. The spice level was PERFECT, not overwhelming to the point where it kills your taste buds and you don't enjoy what you are eating. The only recommendation I have is to add a little more crushed peanuts to the dish.
Also ordered was the Fresh Hand-Pulled Mozzarella Panini for $11. The bread was so soft and fresh (I believe it is sourced from a local bakery, but I don't recall the name of it). It was loaded with lots of ooey, gooey, mozzarella cheese, plenty of fresh tomatoes, basil, a drizzle of olive oil, and some tasty pesto. Chicken, beef, or avocado can be added for an additional fee.
Their new location has an outdoor eating area, with PLENTY of room for social distancing, so check them out.
P.S. - yes, they have beer (several regional brews, and also a few wine selections)
