The Good Measure - Review - Redland - Bristol - The Infatuation
"The Good Measure is simply a very good pub. From the same people behind local brewery Good Chemistry and on Redland’s hyped independent dining strip, it serves as the warm-up act and post-watershed pale ale accomplice to Chandos Road’s many must-try restaurants. The crowd leans young, cool, and IPA-initiated, but it still has the warmth of a quintessential local boozer. Case in point: the honourable clingfilm-wrapped £3 cheese rolls by the till and gents who park themselves in front of the wall art that, plot twist, transforms into a TV when the rugby’s on. Wander in, get acquainted with the yellow tasting note clipboards above the taps, and inevitably be 10 minutes tardy for your reservation because your pint of the tropics-calling Kokomo Weekday wouldn’t let you leave on time." - Heidi Lauth Beasley
Lovely little pub. Great beer! They had Putty 2026 on draft which was delicious. Also recommend the Oregon Trail West Coast

I think this is my favourite pub in the city. Super chill, great beers, great bar staff. A good Monday quiz and monthlyish tap takeovers from the best UK breweries.

Bloody brilliant! A great neighbourhood vibe. Amazing beer selection. Friendly staff that knew their stuff. This is the my favourite type of bar/pub/drinking establishment. If only we lived in Bristol we’d become locals

Fab!
Quirky pub in central Bristol, 'cosy' seating indoor & out, great beers. I am not a regular in Bristol but really enjoyed Good Chemistry Brewing on draft. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Lovely pint of ipa - 6.8%, very fresh. No frills pub, with a good range on draught and outdoor area, will definitely return!

Really friendly staff who gave us a table outside in the quiet street which was lovely in the sun, great craft beer and lovely small bar vibes. Loved it!
