Salads are always fresh and hit the spot for sure! My favorite is the create your own with sweet sesame, but honestly they are all delicious!

Create own salad- best for me for my IBS problems. Food that tastes good fresh. Makes my stomach calm and relaxed. Since I have IBs, I avoid all the sauces, glaze and it reduces the price too !

First time having Good Salad. Sister had been going for awhile, so she recommended it. I personally had the cali ceezer salad. I added steak (which was probably an extra $6-$7, so I'm not completely sure that was worth it for the amount you actually get). Nonetheless, I did like how you could customize your salad. You could deduct toppings you didn't really care for, and add ones that you did. I agreed with my sister that the greens here are really fresh and crisp which is really good to know! Street parking is your best bet to quickly get in and out. Pick up only.

Interesting place to get a decent salad. All the ingredients were fresh, the salad dressing was tasty, and it was easy to order online. Since it is take-out only and located in an industrial park area, there is not much atmosphere to speak of. Parking is hard to find, so most people just double park and walk to the pick-up window.

Ordered for dinner tonight because I wanted to save the time of cooking so we checked this place out for the good reviews. 15$ for old beaten lettuce We drove almost 30 min just to get home and open my paperweight salad. Lettuce was beaten black The workers that prepped my salad should know better. This is a disgrace to the customer and the owner of this restaurant, im not going to eat this sorry excuse of a salad, it it will go where it belongs, in the garbage ! I will never give this place my money and i recommend you do the same. !!!STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT!!!

First time eating here and I was initially happy — the portion was generous, and the flavor was quite good. I was actually thinking of coming back from time to time. But near the end of my meal, I discovered a large bug in the salad. I looked it up online and it seems to be part of a fruit fly or moth. I immediately returned to the pickup window to report the issue. What shocked me was the staff’s first reaction: she quickly took the box and closed the window without saying a word. That felt very strange and dismissive. A few moments later, she reopened the window and asked whether I wanted a refund or a replacement. I told her I wasn’t looking for either — I just wanted a quick call or message from the manager. Unfortunately, no one followed up with me, even after several hours. A simple apology or acknowledgement from the manager would have made me feel better. What’s even more disappointing is that I saw other reviews mentioning the same issue over a year ago, and it clearly hasn’t been addressed. I hope they take food safety more seriously going forward.

I had the chance to visit @The.Good.Salad’s original location in Santa Clara, CA, and watch my customized salad being made. I love how they use the freshest ingredients daily! The dressing was incredible—it paired perfectly with everything. The mix of textures made every bite enjoyable, and the vibrant colors made it look as good as it tasted. Can’t wait to go back!

Take-out only and a little pricey, but the best place to get a decent salad. Ingredients are fresh. Everything is made-to-order. My wife and I are both big fans. The only real con is it being located in an otherwise commercial/industrial park nestled between auto body shops and other ghost kitchens. The parking spots aren’t exactly friendly for a typical customer.

I come here at least 4 times a week and it's always consistently the best thing I've ever eaten. All the ingredients are so fresh!!! The staff is so sweet as well I love the ease of picking it up when I ring the doorbell. It's always ready when I order!! Also obsessed with the lentil soup!!! If you haven't had it, you need it!!! I get it every time now after trying it

Found this place on Ubereats because the BOGO deals drew me in. I ordered 2 Cali Caesar Salads and 2 Samurai Steak Salads. Appreciated how customizable they are, and the variety of available options. The box that contain them is charming, too. Pickup was easy and friendly. My only issues were that the chicken was slightly dry, and the dressings for the Caesar salads were the same sweet sesame that accompanies the Samurai Steak. Flavors were good. It was just a bit disappointing because I'd been curious about the Pesto Caesar, but they all tasted the same.

Great quality salads and quick and friendly service! There's limited parking spots, but all you really need is a few seconds to pick up your order since it is a takeout service only. Ordering ahead works easily. My favorite salad has to be the Blazing Bird, and Cali Caesar is a close second.

Best place for healthy food. But definitely pricy but worth it if you're a health nut or want to eat salads without buying groceries and cleaning up. We love their Ginger beer drinks are okay but ginger beer is good on stomach

After writing my initial review, the owner contacted me and invited me to give the place another shot, offering a free salad. With all the amazing reviews this establishment has, I figured I must have gone on a very off day--and boy, was I right! I wasn't sure what to expect, but the salad was incredible--a complete 180 from the first time I had it. This is definitely a salad I'll be craving. I highly recommend trying the Blazing Bird; it was fantastic! Thank you to the amazing staff for going out of their way to turn my experience into a positive one. I'll definitely be back! Also, look at how cute their merch is next time you go to the counter to pick up your salad!!! My pink hat is so cute.

Update: Since it was so hot today, we decided it's a good day for some Good Salad. We got the Samurai Steak Salad, Cali Cesar, and Ruby Roots. Last time we thought the flavor of the steak was great but the texture was a bit too chewy, this time they seemed to have fixed that texture. Great meal all around and didn't need to turn on the stove. If I had to pick just one salad, I would choose the Samurai Steak Salad (followed by the Cali Chicken Cesar).

to go only spot for darn good salads. i had the cali ceezer salad modified by subbing chickpeas/garbanzo beans for chicken and adding pita chips. yum, yum, yum! so fresh and delicious. would come back to try more. there's two picnic tables out front and parking can be tricky on weekdays.

Had a strong salad craving and came across The Good Salad. I went with "build my own salad" option and the bowl turned out to be very yummy. The order was packed well for a DoorDash delivery and the quantity was very sufficient for the price. Really liked that they have a "choose lighter base than default" option which worked great for my liking. Loved their edamame options and would be great if they can introduce tofu too. Will definitely recommend.

Dont exactly remember what I got in the salad but this place is sooo good! I've had multiple salads from there now and it's always so filling and it makes me feel so healthy too. I've never seen so many options for a salad too, it made it kind of hard to choose ‍ If you're looking for a good salad I would deff try good salad lol the name speaks for itself!

Amazing salad! Crunchy and satisfying texture! Delicious flavor and the chicken was perfectly cooked! Its Halal too! The dressings were also on the side by default so you could easily adjust how much you wanted. Very limited seating and parking. Its definitely a to-go spot. Service was cheerful and friendly! Was very happy with my blazing bird salad and would get it again. I highly recommend this spot to all and will definitely be back.

I always order takeout from their Santa Clara location, but yhey always greet you with a smile and super nice! My go to salad is the Halal Chicken Ceezer Salad, ingredients are super fresh, romaine lettuce insanely crisp and the dressing is literally insanely amazing!

Didn't expect a team lunch order to lead me to the best dang salad I've ever had, but here we are. Absolutely love the Blazing Bird, swapped the chipotle ranch for the grape vinaigrette. Fresh, bold, greatly textured. This place delivers. Every. Single. Time.

According to Yelp, this spot is surprisingly #8 Top Place to Eat in the nation, so we were eager to try it out. I really enjoyed the customization options - I got a steak supreme salad with parm instead of blue cheese and added edamame + crunchy onions. The steak was very tender and all the toppings made for a satisfying lunch. The ranch dressing was already zingy, so next time I would skip the glaze which took it over the top for me. But, that's kinda on me for not tasting before dumping it in. (Pro-Tip: it's very tart! Drizzle a bit and taste as you go!!) The spot lives up to the name - we had a good salad. I'm not sure if there's really even such thing as an extraordinary salad or a great salad even. But, this was very solid!

Sometimes you gotta have a salad for lunch, and luckily, we were nearby and tried The Good Salad. I got the Samurai salad and my husband got the one with steak and bleu cheese. Both salads were really good, but I liked the samurai one more. Tip: don't put the entire sauce packet in the salad though. It was way too much for my liking and it became a bit too tangy. One thing I don't like is the location. It's like a random door with not a large area for parking so random cars are just illegally parked alongside the road.

I ordered online for pickup on a Monday evening, and my salad was ready in the quoted 15 minute wait time. The location of the building looked dark and deserted. There's a small parking lot for convenience and a pick up window for the Good Salad that's labeled and well lit. Service was quick and sufficient. I customized the cali ceezer, removing a couple toppings and adding smoked bacon bits, hard boiled egg, and additional sauce on the side. Turns out I'm not a fan of the dill-heavy ranch dressing they make here. Luckily, I really like the pesto caesar, and it went perfectly with my customized salad which was made correctly, with fresh ingredients and no shortage of toppings. Based on my recent experience, I'd say this is a decent spot if you're looking for a snack or meal on the healthier side, and want a quick and easy option.

Another great experience at The Good Salad. I wanted to update my review because I REALLY appreciated how they also deduct the cost of the item when you remove it when customizing a pre named salad. I just ordered something from a coffee place, and it allowed me to double charge myself for something that would have been cheaper if I ordered it differently. I feel like the ordering process and very kind here and easy as well. I will continue to come here when craving a salad and open to trying other location but this is the only one I've been to so far since I visit while waiting for my eyebrow services. 10/10

I was a little unsure about how good a salad picked up from a window would be, but The Good Salad truly was good, if not REALLY good! Salads were neatly packed and labeled in a cute paper bag. I loved the options to customize each salad, but only changed up the mix of greens to the Romaine + spring mix + arugula. The dressing comes in pouches on the side so you can add as much or as little dressing as you like. I didn't follow the instructions inside the box very well and ended up mixing in all of the glaze with the dressing, and it was still delicious. The toppings were plentiful and fresh, and the salad was filling. A great option for a healthy and quick meal if you don't have time or don't want to get all the ingredients to assemble a salad yourself.

LOVED my Create-Your-Own-Salad! Their setup is different as you basically order via their app and pick up your order at the window (once you ring the doorbell). They provide a couple of benches to sit, which is a nice touch. Also LOVED their freshly baked Focaccia bread! I was close to ordering a 2nd one, but I stopped myself, haha. It is a tad pricey, but I feel that it's worth it since the salads are big. Will definitely be back! :-)

I've been seeing all the amazing reviews on this place both on yelp, DD and even some partnerships where local businesses promote and rave about this place so I wanted to check it out and see what all the hype is about. I ordered Blazing Bird on DD so I did not go in person therefore can't share any feedback on their customer service which sounds like is great. Personal opinion: Felt fast food-y to me especially because dressing was packaged in a plastic bag kind of like a McDonald's dressing or grocery store salad kit. While very simple ingredients, didn't give "home-made" or fresh feel. I love Mendocino or Sweetgreen so was expecting this place to be added to my favorite salad spots list but sadly did not live up to its hype for me. Nonetheless there were some positives too- decent portion (although did not seem like it was above average salad spots I go to) healthy and quick.

The food is tasty and the service is very prompt. It's a little weird picking up from a locked door at a warehouse where online ordering is mandatory, but the people are super nice. The wooden fork-like utensil they provide is wonderfully sustainable, but leaves much to be desired in terms of functionality.

I didn't know what to expect when my bestie told me to pick her up so we can grab these salads. We pulled up to this building and saw the cute logo and radish signage, knowing we were in the right place. Then we walked up and rang the little doorbell, a window sung open, they asked us our name and handed us what turned out to be these glorious salads. Staff is very friendly and the food, extremely deliciousssss! I got the Steak Supreme and it was a perfect balance of sweet, salty, fresh and crunchy (cause I added sweet potato chips and carmelized nuts). The portion was generous and it was easy to mix in the box provided. While The Good Salad isn't a storefront there were these two picnic benches outside which was nice with the sun out. Will definitely be going back to try their other salads!

Built my own salad. Was fantastic. Even if slightly pricey, it worth it for the quality of the ingredients and overall strength of the salad.

No photos for this one as this place is a bit different. Togo salads only, but man are these good salads! Simple ordering process via the website. Grabbed a southwest salad and a piece of bread. Chicken was delicious, salad was excellent, also love the avocado scoop in the corner! The overall shocking thing was how excellent the dressing was! Incredible balance of spicy and creamy. I shouldn't have bought two of them as one did the job just fine, but it's damn good! I do wish it was a fast casual place, but if I wanna grab one to go in the future this is easily high up on my list. 8.3/10

Writing to just update my review again as I'm blown away by their customer service. I left feedback after a tiny issue and the owner Sanad messaged me back personally to apologize AND help resolve the issue. I drive 15-20 minutes just to go get salads from this location (so it's not very close) and after how my last issue was resolved, I am a dedicated loyal customer. Thank you Sanad and Good Salad, I think I may even have purchase a Tote Bag next time as well (photos and update review again soon!). EDIT: Got my tote bag and it's looks great! One of my fav spots for a quick lunch whenever I don't know what to eat! I found that my go to here is the popular Blazing Bird. Super flavorful chicken, crunchy greens and onions. The chipotle dressing is sooo good too! They're on DoorDash, but otherwise I'd recommend ordering online before picking up. The only thing I'm not a biggest fan of is their wooden forks... but it doesn't take away from the salad so definitely try it!

It's a damn good salad. At first I wasn't expecting much but I'm so glad I tried this place bc it's now my favorite place to get a salad from in the bay. The blazing bird is super delicious with their two sauces combined. All the ingredients were super fresh and not one piece was wilted. Customer service was very welcoming and nice. It was affordable and I stayed really full afterwards. The lentil soup was also delicious and added a warm touch. There are only 3 dedicated parking spaces and the rest is street parking which is fine bc it's a grab and go place. Process is super easy by putting in an order online and picking it up at the allotted time slot. Will definitely be back.

Amazing is an understatement. The ingredients, the quality, the staff, the portion sizes, the taste, the convenience.... and the list goes on. Sanad's TGS stands as the single best Salad Restaurant in the Bay Area. 11/10 recommend for yourself and catering for business functions. Excellent food and excellent prices!!

This place has good salads. I have an unfortunately very sensitive stomach so some of that didn't work for me but delicious and nutritious nonetheless. I like that it's tucked away in a random corner, it gives it a cute vibe

Easy, Peasy & Yummy! Ordered on our way to the office, swung in and rang the bell at the door and our salads appeared! Nice they label items Gluten Free, was able to omit the ingredients that weren't for my salad and it was tasty - healthy, fresh and delicious! The parking was the worst part, don't pull into the lot as getting out isn't fun or easy, park on the street and walk if you can.

I love the food here, but not being able to pickup my order 25 minutes after the estimated completion time twice in a row is not okay. Edit: The owner (Sanad) reached out literally rightaway, and said they'll issue a refund. I'm very impressed.

FYI this is a pick up only spot unless you're ok with limited picnic table seating on grass Located in an industrial area off of the 101, this is a good spot for really fresh and delicious tasting salad. I typically patronize the Los Altos location during the work week but when I'm craving something light and fresh nearby, I'll order from here. Today I messed up and placed an order for pick up only to find out: I set the location for Los Altos. Not a problem, the person at the window said they take care of it and let the Los Altos location know that I picked up in Santa Clara so please make sure you don't do what I did and double check your pick up location. What I appreciate about this business is that the flavor is always CONSISTENT and fresh. ALSO: If you make any modifications such as removing avocado or anything, it also reduces the price and as someone who is always trying to save money, this is very much appreciated.

Very good neighborhood salad place!! We got the blazing bird and the samurai steak salad. Both were great and we appreciated all the sauces it came with, but I think next time I'd like to try to build my own salad since they have some great options for toppings!

For a salary it is really good and my first time having food from this place. I recommend it if anyone would like healthier food

Delicious salads all the time. My favorite salad place. They are generous with their portions and their halal blazin chicken is so good. It's a grab and go restaurant so you place your order online then go to the location to pick it up. Lots of yummy toppings and options for your salad!

Update to my review below. The owner reached out to me immediately after I completed the survey. He was very nice and apologetic, which was impressive. He did offers to send another salad but it was too late in the day, close to dinner. He also offered to deliver a,salad the following week, but I was out of town. Without asking, he refunded me. With that said, I changed my review from 2 to 4 Stars. With that kind of leadership and kindness, how could I not appreciate and show kindness and understanding in return. Disappointed. The first time I ordered last week, it was amazing. I would have given a 5 star last week. Unfortunately, this second time I cannot say the same. The lettuce this time is old and they barely put my add on ls in the salad. As you can see in the picture, it is mostly lettuce. I didn't ask for extra lettuce. An $18 salad is now going in the garbage and it looks like I'm waiting to eat later tonight. My coworker's lettuce is also old, but she has a salad full of all of what she asked for to be added. Honestly, I should be refunded for this. One pic is mine salad and the other is mine. I mixed up the salad, but still, where are all of my add ons?!!

If you're in the area give this place a try, it's surprisingly tasty. Normally I'm more of a meat lover but this salad place won me over. There's a line for lunch rush but it moves quickly. So far we only tried their Cali Ceezer and fell in love, we have been coming back for that a few more times (even found the store on doordash and ordered the same). Large portion, tasty combination, great value.

This store is for pickup only. Quick service! Parking is very tight and kind of confusing on how to get out, it seems like one way at first but just leave the way you entered, I ended up going all the way around and it's near the car/service shops. I ordered myself the Blazing Bird with chopped romaine lettuce, chipotle ranch, halal cajun chicken breast, fried onion and avocado. I really liked the good glaze as well, it added more flavor to the dish. The chicken was seasoned really well and was tender. This was a very filling salad! I didn't know they had an actual sit down location, might try that spot out next time. I got everything on my salad but you can substitute items out and get it subtracted from your total! Never heard of this practice in restaurants before. Will come back here for my next salad craving!

The Good Salad, more like The BEST Salad! A coworker of mine mentioned this place to me once and I DoorDashed for the first time back in September of 2024, and ever since then this has been my go to place for salad. I used to love getting Sweet greens but I've found that the The Good Salad is more affordable, tastier and flavorful. I am a creature of habit, so my go to order is the Cali Caesar and it is a must try! I've never had any issues any of the times I've ordered it and is a staple place in my DoorDash rotation.

I have mixed feelings about the good salad. I decided to come here last week for lunch because of all the amazing reviews and was extremely excited to try this place out. I ordered their special Caesar salad (Ik it's spelled differently but I forgot how it's spelled) and their watermelon drink. Things that went well: -everything looked amazing -staff was incredibly kind -order was ready quickly Things that didn't go that well: -I do not recommend trying the watermelon drink, it does not taste good at all. The basil is extremely overpowering and it was not very refreshing -while the salad was decent, something felt like it was missing. also the chicken felt undercooked The reviews about here are really good, so I'm hoping it was just a bad day. But it wasn't anything spectacular. Also note that this location is only for pick up. You have to order online and take your food to go. They do have two small benches where you can eat outside, so you could eat there if you would like

Not only did the food look amazing, it tasted delicious and left me planning for my next visit. I'll no longer frequent corporate competitors if I'm in the area; they don't even come close in terms of customer service, not to mention food quality and taste. I originally ordered the blazing bird salad and lentil soup. Upon arrival, I was notified that lentil soup was sold out but was kindly offered bone broth or merch. I chose merch (love the corduroy hat color) but was also given bone broth to try. I did end up adding more salt, but the broth was rich and felt like a warm hug. I tried all ingredients in the blazing bird salad separately before mixing in dressing. The chicken was seasoned very well, and the crispy fried onion added the right amount of crunch. The veggies from the pico de gallo and avocado amplified the nutritional value. I usually feel guilty about eating out, but this meal was healthier than some meals I cook at home.

I've been to the good salad twice now and I have to say, it's incredible. The salads here are unique in flavor, texture, and toppings. I love salads and I really love variety. The good salad is really different from other salads in a good way. One thing that I love is that you get money back for removing ingredients from your salads. Incredible for my vegetarian family! I appreciate the quality of chicken and how well it was marinated in Blazing Bird salad and Cali Caesar. The flavors gel well together. The watermelon drink is a hit too. Overall salads are on the expensive side but worth it, I would recommend it.
