Popped in to visit as a tourist keen to see what was on offer. What I discovered was an amazing shop and a very friendly guy called Andrew who was happy to chat with me about Scotch Whisky and Rum including everything in between. There is a phenomenal range of scotches, the Vermouth/amaro/aperitif’s range wasn’t too shabby either. Tequilas too. This shop has it all. Despite the fact my bag weight was reaching its limit I did buy a pack of playing cards and a little something, a tiny angostura bitters bottle, the must cutest thing you ever saw!

I had a great experience at The Good Spirits Co. whisky shop. I went in looking for a particular whisky that unfortunately wasn’t in stock, but the staff were incredibly helpful. They took the time to understand what I liked about the original bottle and recommended a thoughtful alternative that matched the flavour profile almost perfectly. Their knowledge and friendliness made the whole visit enjoyable, and I left with a whisky I’m genuinely delighted with. I’d definitely recommend The Good Spirits Co. to anyone looking for expert advice and great service.

I know nothing about whiskey but they sure do. Very accommodating, gave us different selections for a gift and knew a lot about what they were suggesting and why. The gentleman at the counter was pleasant and really helpful. They had a large selection. Prices seemed reasonable or at least comparable to other places although I'm not aware of expected prices

Rude and unhelpful. Definitely won't be back. Surprised they had good reviews as I certainly don't see why! No help from the woman or the big guy with glasses. Couldn't be arsed coming out from behind the counter to help.

very helpful and knowledgeable staff. my brother in law was very happy with the whisky I got here. I was looking for Ailsa Bay 1.2 but they didn't have it. the staff member recommended a different whisky which was similar.

Absolutely amazing experience- Elizabeth was super friendly, crazily knowledgeable and generous in letting us try whiskies and sharing the knowledge including some hidden gems. We ended up walking out with 6 bottles of whisky as a group and spent an hour there! Would’ve have come back for tasting if only I lived in Glasgow…

Low key while being very knowledgeable and helpful. Wide variety of Scottish spirits. Good prices. Found unique Scottish gin options to bring back to US.

Ralfy on YouTube often speaks about this specialist whisky retailer in Glasgow, so I had to pay a visit. They've quite the selection of whisky from all over Scotland. Not so much from Japan or Ireland or anywhere else (a good thing in my opinion as Scotch is my favourite). Much friendlier staff than The Whisky Shop around the corner in Buchannan Galleries. Really felt welcome and enjoyed having a browse. I'll purchase from them online soon rather than in person since I don't have a hold bag for my flight home to Northern Ireland. Solid but not amazing either. Highly recommended!
