The Goose

Had the Walleye Po’Boy with a bowl of Gumbo. My fiancée had the Cajun Smashburger with a side of fries. The Walleye fillet was HUMONGOUS but DELICIOUS! The Gumbo was some of the BEST that I’ve EVER had! The ambience in this place is amazing too. It was pretty quiet, which I prefer. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Service was very friendly and everything came out super fresh! We ordered hot honey wings, the walleye sandwich and the nola chicken sandwich all very good! The heat from the nola chicken will creep up on you and I think I could have used a little more remolaude, maybe spread on the fish instead of the bun. They were out of NA beer unfortunately but I got some tea and that turned out to be a very nice option as well, mint + sage what a great combo! They had some honey as a sweetener and the teapot is huge. We'll be back, I have a feeling the smash burger is going to be my next meal.

Fantastic vibes, they always play good music, and their food and cocktails are absolutely phenomenal. I will definitely come back to this place the next time I’m in town. You have to try the a la Louisianne with a bowl of gumbo. Oh and if you in the mood for a tarot reading, mama goose is GOOD.

Have tried every menu item. The food is great, but the Gumbo and the Grits are outstanding. Its become a regular weekly spot for something good to eat.

The Goose is a great place! Theres plenty of things to do from listening to a record on their sound system to having some of the best food to grub on in town at a fair price!

I had the pleasure of visiting The Goose from the QC area and if you have not had the pleasure of checking this place out you are MISSING OUT! The atmosphere is so welcoming with a cozy but vibrant interior. There’s a smiling face everywhere you look. Natalie and Noah are the kind of people who have never met a stranger. The energy they both bring into any room instantly makes it a brighter place to be. Service is very prompt and accommodating. They also host a wide variety of entertainment. We had initially stopped in for a beverage but ended up staying for the live music later that evening and it truly was the best time. Can’t wait to go back!

Tried the Cajun Burger first day they officially have food, and can say it is by far one of the best burgers I have had, highly recommend!! Not to mention the bar has a great atmosphere!

A total vibey place that’s super comfy and welcoming to hang in. Groovy living room atmosphere eclectic and friendly staff. I felt really good as a female to be there which is huge bc I get creeped out easily. The owner is great “mother goose”. I hear the grits are great and I can say the TeaTini is fab. I love that they have tea as well that is a whole experience. It’s easy to just hang at the goose whether you drink or not. The goose does live shows and events I’ve only been to one dance class so far but it was awesome. the goose is THE spot.
