The Best Sports Bars in Seattle

"Step into this unprepossessing door in a Bellevue strip mall and you’ll be transported into another world, or maybe just the 1980s (which would explain the framed Kenny Easley jersey on the wall). This old-school sports dive has the kind of lived-in charm it takes bars decades to acquire, and plenty of pub games that can entertain you if the Seahawks contest turns into a blowout." - Eater Staff, Harry Cheadle

Andrew the cook. Let's start with the food. Andrew prepares the best tasting and looking food. I come for the home cooked meals. The entire establishment is amazing. The Bartenders are super solid. If you're from out of town trying to break thru in Bellevue, The Goose is a great experience with open minded people. And alot of love and respect. So don't come with the drama. Live, Love, Laugh. ***** 5 Stars Review.

Google
Had a great time here watching the NBA finals. Lisa and her Family are great hosts and the prices here are against inflation, meaning their great and staff here are resisting raising prices just because everyone else is. Food is really good and well sourced. Drinks are outstanding. Vibe is homily and family like. Will return. Highly recommend.

Google
This bar is the absolute best you can find in Bellevue. Staff is beyond courteous and welcoming, food is great, atmosphere is on point, and there’s a surplus of regulars that are easy to strike up a conversation with. I’ve been coming to this bar for roughly 6 years, and I can say without a doubt, any negative comments about the staff are likely during peak volume when they have to be a little short with their interactions to accommodate for all of the customers. They don’t tolerate rude patrons and absolutely match the energy that you give them as I’d expect in any dive bar. Be kind and you’ll get kindness in return

Google
Great local dive bar with two pool tables ($0.75/play), darts, and reasonably priced pitchers of beer. Was fun to be there while some people were Christmas caroling.

Amanda R.

Google
Pretty chill atmosphere, not much to look at on the outside but inside it's very cool dive bar with darts and a juke box. The food and service is decent. Drinks are strong! Which is great! No happy hour because the drinks are already affordable. Lots of parkinf.

Google
Great place to meet up with co-workers and forget about the work week. Staff tolerates our wildness, and the regulars are cool.

Google
Went in got the hot one wings with a friend, tasted pretty good. But I heard it gone now since it ain’t that popular. Could be wrong heard from the friend that go there all the time. The pool table is pretty neat 3 quarter per game, first come first serve.

Google
The only place I can say I frequent. Great food, fair prices, awesome service. I've never had a bad experience.

Yelp
Great dive bar. The only one really in Bellevue. Solid food, Solid prices. The staff was friendly. It's a pretty chill place. People come to drink, eat and socialize. This feels like the kind of place that if any trouble ever happens in it, it's because you were looking for it. People mind their own business which is great.

Yelp
Sorry guys got to stoked when i walked in and forgot to take a shot of my food. I had the taco salad and it was a crispy flour tortilla and super fresh ... do it! Jose was a great dude (cook) and it was a honor to chop it up brother! Go visit my compa. Drinks were cold and cheap, get in here!

Yelp
Bone in wings are my go to with blue cheese! It's your typical dive bar, great parking. Bartenders and cooks are all friendly. There was one time though in the last year I experienced the bartender in other reviews- I ordered wings online and the cook gave me my order, and the lady threatened to fill in a tip because I didn't sign- I didn't know I needed to sign and neither did the cook, I stopped coming but after reading the reviews that person doesn't work there any longer. Been coming since at least 2016, it's a great late night snack! There's games and pull tabs!

Yelp
This place has been around for decades and friends used to gather here often. Since I don't drink, I never came. This time there was a weak coupon, It was BOGO, but the catch was the max value was $6, so it was mote like BO, get 1/3 off. I had the chicken strips and there was very average. I've had way better and these are the same ones you get at Dairy Queen which is far beneath a pub. The fries also taste a bit stale, making me wonder how much food is being cooked in the kitchen. Normally, if we're hungry we hit The Pumphouse and certainly will make it our regular neighborhood stop. Sandwiches and fries are hard to mess up, but you also need quality ingredients to impress.

Yelp
Again my apologies I had lots of time to think I was not at a right spot in my head and I want to own up to my mistakes and hope I can be forgiven Just tried to see if u were open Christmas and I tried to contact website but it I don't know If it still not right I get it ans no hard feelings just let me know Happy holidays

Yelp
There is no better dive-bar in Bellevue; especially near to down-town. Period. Touch-Tunes, Wings, Beer, Billiards, Golden Tee, Darts, Pull Tabs. If that's you're scene, see you there.

Yelp
cool vibe with good food and drinks, was there watching the World Series, service was also pretty good, didn't feel pressured to order more food.

Yelp
I placed an order with The Goose via DoorDash recently for my Dad. He was having an AWFUL day, and I wanted to surprise him with some of his favorite style of food! We hadn't tried The Goose before, but it was open for late night delivery and had menu items he liked, so I decided to go for it. I was so, so, SO BEYOND impressed with their service and attention to detail. I had to call the restaurant after placing my order (DoorDash didn't allow for special requests, and my Dad is incredibly picky and kind of eats like a toddler, lol). The lovely lady that answered the phone for me (I don't remember her name, unfortunately - I hope she can see this and take credit where it's due!) took down all his little modifications, ensured they were accurate, and even sent him this lovely note along with it (photo attached)!!!! The food was hot and fresh (and VERY tasty, according to Dad), but the best part for me was how kind and personable the staff were. I was so impressed that she took the time to leave him a sweet, handwritten message. He called me when the food arrived to tell me how happy he was, and how much it made his night. I've never physically visited this location, but after this experience, I absolutely plan on it. Thank you so much for spreading kindness, positivity, and delicious pub-style food for us late-night people!!!! I can't say enough wonderful things about The Goose. Definitely give them a try if you get the chance!!!!

Michael D.

Yelp
Goose is a great way to end a Friday night. Local hole in the wall, w/ pull tabs, TVs, Golden Tee and Darts. even Jello shots. They offered pudding shots, but didn't actually have any. only thing that kept it from a 5 star review. Next time pudding shots!

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. I grew up in Bellevue, have spent time in Bellevue and can truly say that tonight was one of my worst nights in Bellevue. Hands. Down. All. Due. To. Tonight's. Stafff At.THE GOOSE. In Bellevue. Racial discrimination A+, standing up for others F-. Never set a foot in an establishment quite like this. At first the staff will greet you and be friendly, but only if your skin tone is white +, if you're white+\~ good luck. Been here a few times over the past 15+ years. Tonight was a night quite like no other... came in with 3 other friends for a friends birthday. We started our game of pool just like any other night until a woman in hot pink UGG boots started screaming obscenities at us, we thought it was a joke then we realized she was just there to scream at us without an reason behind it. The bartenders quickly came over to get a gauge if the situation, I'll give them that, however, they quickly sided with one side over the other without all of the facts. They asked me a question, I started to answer it and was quickly dismissed and no longer welcomed as I was accompanied by my Hispanic counterparts. They wanted nothing to do with me or us. This has become a racist establishment to the core. Proven time and time again. Disappointed doesn't even begin to cover it. Shame.

Yelp
One of the last great dive bars in Bellevue. I've been going there for, maybe 12 years, and it's a great place to go when you want to get away from the sterile, cookie-cutter downtown Bellevue atmosphere. If you love those things and $20 cocktails, the Goose may not be your place. However, if you're looking for one of the last 'dive bars' in Bellevue, this is your place. It's a place where you can get strong, affordable drinks, real down-to-earth customers and bartenders, a good game of pool or darts (also hard to find in Bellevue), and pull-tabs (my wife loves pull-tabs). The bartenders are real and honest people, not just trained 'staff'. The place has character and a small-town kind of charm. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for that. You know a place is great when the owner actually works there. You may find one of the co-owners helping out, Jaime, she's as real as you can get. I'll be supporting the place and going there for another 20 years if I can. I encourage you to visit this landmark for as long as it lasts.

Yelp
Enjoy this picture of me and their delish Jell-O shots. Staff is super friendly. Became a regular occurrence for me and some coworkers to head here after a shift. Great vibe if you enjoy the dive bar scene. Perfect place to have a quick drink or 10.

Yelp
I need to someday get a drink here with some friends. Such a cool hole in the wall pub with pool tables, darts and TV's to watch the games. But i literally only order the Beef Taco Salad to go. And it's perfection. Always hits the spot.

Yelp
For Bellevue this is certainly a hidden gem. We popped by on a Saturday for a quick snack and a few beers. There were only two people working but both were hustling and friendly. I love a good dive bar and some bar food every now and again. We got the totchos which were just as we expected them to be. We'd come again if we're in the area.

Yelp
It's a 5 star dive bar! We headed to Bellevue Saturday to find a place for breakfast & a drink & remembered this spot that our great bartender friend Joell works at & so glad we did! This is one of the last nice dive bars in Bellevue with pool, pull tabs, darts & a music system you can request songs on from your phone (Touch Tunes). It's very well ran as it's had the same owners over 30 years. We weren't disappointed they don't serve breakfast once we saw the menu- so many great choices & such reasonable prices! We started with a beer, mimosa & a vodka soda while we looked at the menu. We asked the chef for his favorite & once he said bacon mushroom burger we were all in lol. My husband added jalapeños. We had our choice of fries or tots as well. Wow- our plates came out so hot & fresh with such generous portions & so delicious! The burgers were so juicy, the bacon so crispy & the mushrooms & cheese so flavorful. The tots & fries were cooked perfectly as well- nice & hot & crispy. Of course Joell took great care of us. We were in & out before the huge Saturday night crowd came in which was perfect for us old folks lol. We'll definitely be back- I want to try their Club Sandwich!

Yelp
I've been coming here for years, and they never fail to deliver: on bar food and drinks. The service is one of the best in the east side, and definitely in Bellevue. Came in today, and again, still awesome. Love this place!

D J.

Yelp
Poor treatment. I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding, but I was refused to reopen my tab on my card because "I did not leave a tip" on our receipt.. Even though I left a cash tip on the table (before she denied me service) thinking that would be preferred, but was clearly overlooked. Ive tried to call multiple times to at least leave a tip for the other waitress and hope to talk to somebody but I got no answer/response. We just got there 30 minutes prior, and have been here a few times. Honestly never had an issue before, good drinks and food. This was disappointing at the least.

Yelp
This is place is one of my favorites. It is a dependable spot to go later at night (pre-COVID much later). It is currently closed Sundays and Mondays. On the days they are open, the hours are from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm. They are open for lunch and have an assortment of sandwiches on their menu. I usually visit them at night where they are serving food such as mozzarella sticks, Mac and cheese bites, chicken wings and more. The portions are good enough to fill you or to share with one to two friends. So get them to go especially for the next game. As it is a pub, we also need to speak on their drinks. They have the typical beers you can expect plus those on tap (plus currently $10 dollar growlers). I appreciate that they constantly have a cider selection including non-apple flavors. For cocktails to go, they have given them in cute jars. I had a Moscow mule and they had separated the ginger beer and the vodka so I could mix them later. I appreciated that Also inside the pub, there are seats and TVs for a game plus things like pool tables, a karaoke machine and more. I'm just mentioning these things to inspire you to go now so these treats could still be available when indoor dining is open again. *crosses fingers* I would recommend following their Facebook page so see any specials or to get updates of what is going on. Definitely come to visit if you are in the area for a bite to eat!

Yelp
Awful treatment of customers, gross food and beer pitcher had flies. Avoid this place.

Yelp
Bellevue has dive bars?! Yup!!! It does! And The Goose is definitely one of those spots!!! It's a no frills, cheap beer, bar food type spot just on the other side of I405. There's a couple of pool tables, some arcade games, TVs to catch the game and several communal tables, so just sit down and get cozy with your new neighbor. On game days, parking can get tough, since they share the parking spaces with other businesses, and read the signs, several of the spots are reserved for those neighboring shops. As for the beer, they have a pretty good selection, rotating IPAs. A full bar, if beer isn't your thing. And they have really good, greasy bar food, which just hits the spot, and they're super affordable!
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
The last bar of its kind in Bellevue! Has a cozy and relaxing vibe. Great comfort food, my favorite thing are for sure the tater tots. Always crispy and delicious. I might be biased but I love all of the bartenders.

Abbie P.

Yelp
i went here to celebrate a friends bday and the bartender yelled in my face about a lime she forgot to put in my drink. she also told me to get out and said "okay leave! bye now!" because i didn't tip her due to bad customer service. completely ruined the vibe. i was disappointed.

Yelp
Fun dive bar in Bellevue! Yes, Bellevue! Just when you thought Bellevue was uppity...The Goose comes to the rescue! I love how laid-back and casual The Goose Pub is, a much-needed place to hang out in Bellevue AKA it's my kind of place to watch sports and drink crafts. The Goose Pub has TVs everywhere, so is an ideal place to watch sports, especially prime games when they turn the sound on. There's also pool tables, darts and other games for everything else. Cheap beer is on tap, which includes craft brews from Washington. Food is bar food, so don't expect anything fancy. But can I say, WAFFLE FRIES?! Also, I love that they have tartar sauce on every table and not just ketchup. The vibe here at Goose is what has me coming back. Located in the spring district, it's a hidden spot in a small strip mall. But parking is never an issue. Neither are the people that hang here. Every time I've visited I've made friends here. It's that kind of place. Find me here to get away from downtown Bellevue's bros (amen)!
google avatar

Krzysztof D.

Yelp
Ordered a delivery, fish and chips and waffle fries. All was tasteless and soggy and just very disapppointing.

M T.

Yelp
Honestly, the food has been great even though you may not think it would be and the girls who bartend have been nothing short of super nice and cool. The TouchTunes could be louder for when you pay for songs but I love having a chill late night spot to go to in Bellevue. I also won my first $50 pulltab!
google avatar

Jim B.

Yelp
Solid self proclaimed (well and everyone else proclaimed) dive bar with great food and service. It's a sports bar which is important to me and there are TV's all over the place as well as games to play. Came here for lunch the other day and found they have a regular following and do very well. The place has been there for at least two decades in a Bellevue strip mall. I was very happy with my BLT and fries. Will come back again and again.

Leilani G.

Yelp
Oh my, where do I start. Bad vibes, horrible frozen bitten food, and the customer service is terrible. The staff is unfriendly and unpleasant. A complete waste of time and money. they need new staff & values
google avatar

Anthony P.

Yelp
This is a fun dive bar. Good food and good drinks. The nachos could see better, but I'll assume it's because It was busy. The bacon Swiss burger was good. They also have pull tabs, pool tables and darts. Great after work spot with coworkers if you want a chill place to hang out.
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
Love me my dive bars. This was no exception. Great server, atmosphere and food. I had the patty melt. The onions were cooked to perfection. My buddy had the chili burger. Two dinners and 4 drinks later, the tab was less than $50. Great value while I have no need to hang with the "blue bloods" of Bellevue and spend stupid money.
google avatar

Tolli L.

Yelp
I wish I knew about his place before. I've always wanted a low key Bellevue beer/pool/darts/TV pub that's OPEN LATE!!! Definitely will be ack after my weekly soccer games.

Jorge S.

Yelp
Loved the vibe , was really disappointed with my garlic bread order. It's a literal hot dog bun. ONE hot dog bun , for $6 dollars. What the heck
google avatar

Kayleigh M.

Yelp
Mac and Cheese balls were awesome! Chill for the games. Pop to the bar kinda service. Had a few friends meet up and had some drinks and Jell-O shots. Sadly the hawks lost but the food didn't. We also ordered some wings (crunchy with hot sauce), French dip with to-die-for fries. Pool, pull tabs and pool. Def coming back here again drinks were good and I like the vibe. Hard to find places like this anymore near Bellevue!!

Stuart M.

Yelp
I needed a place to get a quick bite while in the neighborhood. I was expecting to pay Bellevue prices, but after finding this eatery I was shocked. A Reuben sandwich with fries for $12! Tasty, and fresh. As others here have said, it is a bit of a dive bar, but who cares? Three guys playing darts, a husband and wife at the bar and a friendly staff of two. All that you need to relax for an hour . And the restrooms was clean. If you complain about this place, your expectations are too high.

Jasmine H.

Yelp
This is my spot I come to regularly, the only downfall is they got a lady there who is miserable and rude asf to everyone. She got the worst attitude I literally never tip her cause she don't deserve shit. But everybody else cool though
google avatar

Reetu P.

Yelp
We are regulars here and tend to call and give the staff heads up thinking they will be well staffed to accommodate the crowd but nope! Service is still slow but I don't think they care. They are such an old establishment that they have their regulars coming frequently and are ok with how they handle them. They have the same stuff and I have been going there since the last 10 years. It's fun reasonable and very dark inside. Any given time this place is crowded. Good dive bar in Bellevue!
google avatar

Karl B.

Yelp
Atmosphere and vibe good. Great place to watch a game. Cheap but good food. Service staff was nice :)
google avatar

Ben J.

Yelp
Inexpensive drinks, cool bartenders, games and some surprisingly good food. This place is pretty close to gastropub status if it could elevate the food a bit. Personally I'd upgrade burgers, intro nightly specials like Thursday night meatloaf or Friday night beer battered chicken strips or Saturday night Burger with like 3-4 different kind of unique burgers. Also when sports aren't on play music. It helps with the vibe. Just my 2 cents.

Julianne C.

Yelp
Perhaps if they hire different wait staff this might be a good place to hang out. I had a lousy experience yesterday 5/12/23 at around 3:45 pm. I went with my boyfriend to have a drink and play pull tabs. After buying quite a few pull tabs, I ended up winning $500. Here comes the good part, there were 2 waitresses working there. One was attending us, the one that was not attending us proceeded to tell my boyfriend that it was common courtesy to give a 10% tip. He told her he was not the one that won and that she needed to tell me. She started saying things under her breath, being rude, raising her voice and making a scene. Needless to say, I didn't leave a tip. A tip is voluntary and earned it is not demanded. Be careful if you go there and the blond waitress serves you.
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
Great spot! But most of these comments I'm seeing on here are pretty inaccurate. It's a dive-bar, so expect dive-bar service. Cons: * Often only one person serving the whole establishment, which means you have to be assertive and raise your hand if you need something. * I swear whenever I go I always have to go to the counter to get my bill. Just a heads up I guess. Pros: * GET THE BASKET OF FRIES * Parking and table seating seems to never be an issue. * The waitress split our tab 8 says and we didn't even ask which I thought was really nice.

Yelp
Love the goose pub! Our go to spot for TNFs or other sporting events. They've done a good job with COVID protocols: masks, wiping down tables after every use, hand sanny, do-not-cross lines at the bar, etc. There's also a waitress there on Thursdays who always takes good care of the squad when we're there for TNF. Seems like she's the only one there and she's always hustling, serving drinks, taking orders, cashing out, and cooking all the food singlehandedly. Kudos to you girl. The food here is actually really good IMO for what it is: mostly fried or flattop grilled pub food. But the burgers are always on point - my favorite is the mushroom burger. The wings are great and the other apps are just what you want from a dive bar pub. My only minor gripe is that it's a little expensive. Like, if every item on the menu dropped by just 1 or 2 bucks, it would be the standard pub pricing, but I guess this is DT Bellevue. Darts and pool are always fun but they're decommissioned now for COVID.
google avatar

Shelby A.

Yelp
My sister recommended this place to me and my parents. She comes here with her coworkers all the time! Since she recommended, we've gone twice in a a week. Very generous and reasonably priced dive in Bellevue. Generous with shots and they keep their glasses chilled and frosty. The tater totes, French fries and onion rings are fries up perfectly, extra crispy. Dipping sauces include ketchup and mustard, and then a white sauce that tastes like pickles and tartar sauce- so good. The burgers are made fresh and brought over to you hot off the grill. Simple menu- no frills, but it gets the job done. Basic pub flare- delivered hot and crispy! We left full and boozy! Major shout out to our waitress who was the only one working on New Years Day. She tended bar, made the food and waited on about 30 people by herself! She had great energy and stayed on top of refills. I took one star away because they do need to update their menu. There are things on it that we ordered that they didn't have anymore. I was bummed the didn't serve fried oysters anymore!

Yelp
Few dives in the Seattle area are as straightforward as the Goose. I started going here after my shifts would end at a nearby warehouse. I was at least a weekly regular for about a year and a half. This place was my respite after a hard day, and the staff were always awesome. Later when I got a different (and better) job, my commute took me away from here. I stopped going for about eight months. Then I made an effort to go again, and things picked up right where they left off. I was still greeted like a regular and the barkeep even remembered my drink of choice. Great place, nothing fancy, but always reliable. Plus, the music available on the jukebox is pretty diverse.

Yelp
Very nice place to get hang out with friends.. The Goose Pub N eatery is highly recommend . This is a spot very good options for liquor and fast food options. They have some very popular curly (waffle looking) fries. Very good by the way . I also recommend trying the egg burger oh my good is so unique and tasty (Incredibly good). Plus the service deserves a five stars. Everyone there was very friendly and positive .

Yelp
we went Saturday night the two girl bartenders were so rude. First she tried to accuse our friend of an expired ID which it wasn't, then she Over charged my friends card 5x for a drink. We then got ID again all of us. So weird. Then she snatches all of our drinks and glaring at us. Mind you were all 25 and up and just trying to have fun lol we were all calm just eating and drinking. AND THEN my friends go to close out and they try to say they didn't have the cards. They lost their bank cards lmao. Are these bartenders working drunk???? Then my friends like no my card is in your hand lmao. Weird

Yelp
Ah... The Goose. Good ol' Goose. If you're looking for a place where you don't have to try and flaunt and act like you got top dollaz like you do in the rest of Bellevue, The Goose is for you. There isn't anything out of this world or amazing about this bar, and that's why it's so great. It truly is, just a dive bar. It almost has that old dingy, yet comforting smell... or maybe that's just the smell of too much Mac N Jack's spilt on the floor, hah!! The bartenders there are pretty cool, super down to earth and respectable. The food there is what you'd expect, freezer-to-the-fryer type food, which is a blessing (that being so convenient and cheap) and a curse (blocked arteries and heartburn). Beer selection is also what you'd expect. I really do like how there's one of those "modern-day" jukeboxes. It's really convenient, although it may get a bit awkward if you and your homies enjoy Hip-Hop/ R&B but half of the bar dwellers enjoy Classic Rock...I suppose taking turns and moderation is key :-) Of course, like any other dive bar, there are plenty of pool tables, couple games and TVs and your typical bar-dwellin' dudes. So if you are a woman, be prepared for the constant stares and the occasional guy tryin' to get ya digits... TL;DR: divey. cheap. not boujee. crack some cold ones here w/ the bros if you're in Bellevue.

Yelp
I've come here a handful of times because one of my good friends and her husband are regulars at this dive bar. It's honestly the only place of its kind that you'll find in Bellevue. It's across the freeway from the more traditional Bellevue bar scene and brings in quite a crowd. The place is decently sized with lots of tables and seating at the bar. They have pool tables, darts, and other dive bar style games. Drinks are cheap and of course they have the traditional greasy bar foods. We usually order the mozz sticks because my friends love those and they're pretty good, especially after an evening of drinking. The atmosphere is an interesting one because you don't have your typical Bellevue scene of bros or scandalously dressed girls. You will find a little bit of everything here (some sketchy people) and it's a great venue for people watching!

Yelp
Gross drinks super sugary and taste off been here twice. The servers are grumpy, rude don't offer anything from the menu or bar. No smile or greeting never been to a place that was this bad. It was busy and not busy when we went. I would suggest Applebees over this place.

Yelp
Dropped by on a Sunday evening since it was one of the bars open and close in proximity. One guy runs the whole place, from taking orders, making drinks, frying foods, to bussing, etc. Knowing that, we gave a lot of slack in terms of waiting time since you could clearly see him running around all night. Foods are meh, standard frozen meals that are fried to order. It's a good snack to have while downing shots though. I did enjoy the pool tables, darts, and juke box. It's a janky, yet lowkey bar that's sorta cool to relax at.
