"Head down to the Woodlands to visit this proudly Irish bar.. The entire bar is a 1-of-1 import of a century-old pub from Ireland, from the counter to the chairs. From the bayou to Belfast with love—a pint of Guinness here will save you a cross-Atlantic ticket. The food options are more on the American side though, with nachos, brunch fare, and all of the fried classic bar bites you know and love." - Sean Hekmat

Before going to a concert at Cindy's Place (Cynthia Woods Pavilion) we decided to have dinner where we don't get a chance to go very often, The Woodlands. We chose the Goose's Acre because of its location. It was a rare lovely spring day and we wanted to be outside. This restaurant has a nice patio beside the waterway. Seating was a little hectic. There is an upstairs hostess station and a downstairs hostess station. We were directed to the downstairs hostess for outside seating. The waitress was nice and took our drink order quickly, however the bar was slow to get the drinks out. I ordered the Spare Rib dinner and my wife had a salad with steak. I felt the vegetables were bland on my plate, but the sweet potato mash and rib were perfect. However the Spare Rib portion seemed a little small, maybe 5-6 ounces. I recommend an appetizer with that meal.

Ambiance: Irish pub located off The Woodlands waterway offering patio seating/views of the waterway as well as indoor dining & bar seating. Great spot for groups, celebrations, or just enjoying a pint solo at the bar. I've been coming to Goose's off and on for about 4 years now and the food/drinks/vibes are always on point! They host a lot of weekly events like run club and trivia. Their food is amazing and I highly recommend the chicken friend chicken. Decent beer and cocktail selection. The service is always fast and friendly. Street & garage parking available nearby. Walking distance to several other shops/restaurants/bars. Perfect spot for bar hopping or grabbing a quick bite.

I love Ireland and love to try local Irish pubs. At first glance, the place looks great and a cool atmosphere. We sat on the patio by the water. The waitress was great. She was very attentive and took our order promptly. Food and drinks came out quickly. The food all looked great. I ate a few bites of my French dip sandwich which tasted very good. Started to try to eat my Parmesan fries. They were cold and broken in pieces. I dug around to find a bigger fry and found 2 half eaten shrimp tails in my fries. I immediately was put off by this and stopped eating. The waitress was very apologetic and took the food away. The service manager came over and asked what the problem was and I told him. He said we will get to the bottom of this and asked if I wanted something else. At this point, I was nauseated not knowing if I was eating used food so I said no. The rest of the people at my table, ate their food. Enjoyed it and thought it was delicious. Like I said, my sandwich was good, but the whole fry experience turned me totally off. The waitress gave me an excuse that in the prep area the tails must have came from the shrimp thst were from the bang bang tacos. Which, by the way, no one at my table was eating shrimp. She assumed that someone was making tacos and somehow the tails ended up in my fries. This does not make sense to me since it look like the tails would have been taken off after the shrimp were fried? It still looks like someone bit the shrimp off of these and threw the tails down. Like I said, the food and service was good until this happened. They did take my meal off our receipt. But I will not be back considering I don’t know if they’re serving used food or not.

Joseph, thanks for the amazing service! This place was super cozy and warm. Everyone was super friendly and the food was AMAZING. The fish and chips are superb, as are the shrimp tacos. Make sure you get the bottomless mimosas on Sunday, it's totally worth! The end cap of our brunch was sticky toffee pudding, which was divine. Thanks again to everyone at the Goose's Acre, especially our very attentive waiter, Joseph!

We stopped on Friday night for dinner and we weren’t disappointed at all! The service was excellent and the food was fabulous! Don’t miss out on Guinness on tap, it was a perfect way to kick off the weekend. Unfortunately it was January and cold, so we didn’t enjoy the outside, but I’m looking forward to enjoying it when the weather warms up. The menu is very extensive and tasty. We started with fried pickles and jalapeños. The beer was very good to cool the spice of the jalapeños. I had the Reuben and it was killer- thick sliced very tender corned beef with just the right dosage of kraut, dressing and cheese! The fish and chips were perfectly breaded and the fish was flakey and tender! We thought the prices were just right and the portions were plenty without being overdone on quantity. A great experience to repeat again!

We sat on the patio tonight and Chance was so friendly! Chance greeted us pretty quickly and our entire experience was amazing. I ordered a margarita on the rocks and will definitely be coming back! Great service! Great atmosphere!

I come here almost every other Thursday for karaoke and I love the environment and bartenders! The karaoke guy is AMAZING but his assistant always gives snarky attitude. It’s not the first time! I’m also in the karaoke business so I understand how busy it can be, just wish she was more hospitable and versatile 🤷‍♀️

We came in for an early dinner on a Saturday evening and were greeted by the hostesses. One was very kind, but hard to hear. The other walked us, very slowly, to our table, and even though she'd spent several minutes getting the menus together at the front door, she'd brought one dinner menu and one brunch menu. When she returned with the correct menus 5 minutes late and we asked if we could move over one table for a more private spot with a better view, she didn't answer, but muttered to herself while setting up the table. It was a strange interaction, but the new table was worth it: we watched as the sun set and the lights came on on the Waterway. Our server was a delight, though and paced her visits to our table nicely. We started with the buffalo cauliflower wings: cornmeal battered and very tasty. I ordered the Goose's Acre Signature Salad. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious and paired perfectly. My husband ordered the Fish and Chips: perfectly cooked fish with a light crispy tempura batter. The coleslaw looked weird and was mid, as was the brussel sprout side. The Pellegrino came in a bottle and was so refreshing and bubbly.

Yelp
Went on a Monday for half price fish and chips. We Sat ont the patio very pleasant. Considering our heat. Our server was Nathan excellent server. Very accommodating. We will be back! And can't wait!

Yelp
First time coming here even though I have passed it many times going to Bar Louie or Rose. It's a pub with typical pub like decor. We sat at the bar our waiter was great very attentive. I ordered a cosmo then a Jameson and ginger ale both were great. My husband ordered a beer, there was a variety to choose from. For food we ordered buffalo wings and the Irish nachos were yummy too! They give you big portions for wings which I liked. This is a great chill place to grab a drink and some good bar food. Our meal came out to less than $60.

Yelp
A group of friends and I were out walking the Waterway and were hungry and tired so we went in and were quickly seated. We had a great server who took our orders and soon we were eating some really nice food and also putting down some nice beers. The atmosphere here is nice, it's a bit on the dark side indoors but it has a real gastro pub kind of theme. Food is overall good, everything our group got was hot and tasty. No complaints. By the way, restrooms were spic and span, and that says a lot!

Diana S.

Yelp
Aiden was our server at table 506 on the outside patio. he only had 1 other table while we were there. Table of 2, a soft drink each and we never had refills and food was brought by food runners and we had to keep asking to get our waiter and drink refills which we never received. Going out to eat is a luxury our total was $40 and he said hey that's not that much like how do you that's not that much for us who we've been laid off for a year and this was special for us? Then I went to the hostess (Hispanic with short gray cropped haircut) to get parking validated and I complained hoping to get some sort of resolution and she said I don't know why you didn't have a good experience he's a good server completely disregarded my complaint made it seem like I was lying. The food was amazing... but unfortunately we won't be back

Traci D.

Yelp
Popped in with my son for a late lunch. He has the chicken fried chicken with green beans. I had the half price Shepherds Pie. (I'm always looking for a great special) it certainly did not disappoint. Jack, my pickiest eater, was not disappointed either. We enjoyed our meal in a cozy booth near the faux fireplace and looking out the windows to the nice patio and well taken care of plants. Our server was a delight. I wish I could remember her name. She made great recommendations and was super friendly.

Yelp
Absolutely, the best value to be had for Easter brunch in the Woodlands! The Hilton wants $99.95, Jimmy Buffet will seat you for 69.95, my Irish friends will fill you with delicious grub for 39.95 and kids eat free! The food is of similar quality, so this is more of a gift to the community, maybe a sacred act. My wallet thanks you. This looks like a small cafe from the street, but it is actually huge, it rambles back and downstairs, with two bars. The kitchen is on the lower (waterfront) level. This is now a favorite place of mine. I will be back.

Gabriel V.

Yelp
It was quick to get seated around lunch time on a Friday. The server was very friendly and attentive. Not to mention, all the food was so good. Overall really recommend going and sitting on the patio. Hard to think anything on the menu will be bad.

John W.

Yelp
I had a good experience at The Goose's Acre. The food was good and I loved sitting on the balcony. Nothing blew me away, but it was a good experience. I got the Shepard pie and it was pretty delicious. The fish and chips is also really good. I didn't try anything else on the menu. The ambiance is pretty nice. It has a typical "Irish pub" vibe, but a bit more upscale. The prices also reflect this haha. The patio is quite nice in the spring and fall. Service was good too. Overall, a good experience, I'd come back here

Yelp
I've been searching for a dog friendly brunch spot & I'm pretty sure I've found it in The Goose's Acre. It's located right on the Woodlands Water Way so we had a pretty view while dining on their spacious patio. They quickly found us a place to sit where my dog could have his own shaded space and brought us a bowl of water for him. Food wise, I chose the Corned Beef Benedict and added fried hash potatoes. They were a little stingy on the hollandaise but did not have any issue bringing me an extra extra side of hollandaise once I asked. With the extra hollandaise, this meal was top notch! My friend chose the Sweet Hot Fried Chicken & Waffles with a side of fruit. She said the the chicken and waffles were delicious. I was also excited to see that they have a bottomless mimosa option for only $16! Sign me up! I will definitely be returning for another Sunday Brunchday in the future!

Yelp
Had a reservation in the snug on a chilly winter night. The front door opening and the cold wind blowing in caused the thermostat to read that It was really cold in the restaurant which made the heat blast in the back where we were. My guests and I were on fire and it was extremely uncomfortable and unenjoyable. The server claimed there was nothing she could do until we finally asked for a manager. Luckily, the manager was responsive and did make adjustments to the thermostat which made the experience less miserable. The food was average at best. The Irish nachos were pretty good but a very basic food. The buffalo cauliflower was also pretty good but oily and vinegary. When I called to make the reservation, the staff who answered the phone were extremely helpful and detailed which was probably the best part of the experience.

Tammie G.

Yelp
The food was good and it was a super day to sit outside on the patio but that water. Service was very slow but I tired to be understanding because our waitress was clearly training two girls at the time, with that being said I think drinks came out very slow. I had the Rueben with light kraut and it was pretty tasty. My husband had the OMG burger and said it was good. The Parm fries are super good and nicely crisp!

Yelp
While touring around The Woodlands, we stopped by this Irish pub for a frosty and people watch. This 2 story establishment is truly a little bit o' Ireland. Go to the website and read the history of this transported Irish gem. Great selection of brews and libations as well as a full menu. The heat just broke here, so we sat outside on the patio. Great service, super clean and well appointed. The bar woodwork is amazing! Looking forward to a return visit to try some of their fare. if you visit Houston, you have to take a trip to this area, voted one of the best places to live...one visit, you'll agree.

Yelp
I visited the Goose's Acre a handful of times over the past few years, and unfortunately it seems like the place is starting to go downhill. I was with a party of 3 and walked in around 1:30 on a Saturday. We wanted to watch a sports game so the hostess suggested we head downstairs, and said she would radio down to let them know we were on our way. We got downstairs and the place was about 10% full, we headed to a table in the bar area. The very first thing I noticed was the smell. My husband used to bartend and he said it smelled like a bar who hadn't cleaned their lines in a couple weeks. Honestly I've never smelled anything like it. We waited about 5 minutes and despite a few staff walking past us no one ever stopped with a menu or to take our order. The combo of the smell and poor service was enough for us to leave, we headed over to Mahoney's instead.

Yelp
Much like the authentic Irish Pubs I've visited on the The Emerald Isle, The Goose's Acre has some outstanding food and excellent service. Tip: The portion sizes here are quite generous - you won't go away hungry ;-) The venue is situated on the Woodlands Waterway, and the place looked quite lovely on the completely clear day of our visit. We opted to dine on their outdoor patio and very much enjoyed the ambiance. The cocktail menu was well appointed, but I was in the mood for a draft so I made a mental note for our next visit. We each ordered a sandwich - I chose the Late B Sandwich; it's made with whole wheat toast, peppered bacon, a fried egg, red leaf lettuce, sliced tomato, and herb aioli; it was excellent and came with some perfectly salted garlic Parmesan fries that were delicious as well. Over and above my delightful sandwich I very much enjoyed the Irish Nachos - these are everything you would have on a regular nachos but on a REALLY THICK cut of potato instead. I'm talking 1/2" plus in thickness. The taste is very different, very satisfying and highly addictive :-) To sum it all up, the service was efficient and attentive, the ambiance was laid-back and relaxing, and the food was satisfying and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Saturday afternoon visit to watch a golf tournament in the downstairs bar area...we sat down with no acknowledgement from the staff after 10 minutes ...with several employees standing around in the immediate area. The general area also had a weird / sour smell ...so we got a bad vibe and left to a neighboring restaurant , Mahoneys - where we had a great afternoon. We frequently visit the outdoor patio area here and it's usually very good on service , ambiance and food. Unfortunate that such a nice location can have a service breakdown like this.

Kayla N.

Yelp
As someone who grew up in The Woodlands, I've gone to The Goose's Acre numerous times and always have a pretty good experience so picked there as a meeting place when catching up with a group of friends. While there, we ordered the following: - Yuengling Beers: You really can't go wrong with yuengling draft - White Sangria: Tasted more like a light (and watery) peach cocktail. OK but didn't order another - Frozen Margarita: Definitely the drink to order. Tasted great! - Fried Pickles: Just OK and was paired with a very thick and chunky ranch. I wouldn't order these again - Irish Nachos: Good and made just right! Would order these again! - The Original Burger: Good but definitely needed the BBQ sauce for dipping it in otherwise it would've been very dry Our server was friendly and quickly brought out things after they were ordered. No complaints around the service!

Yelp
I cannot recommend this place enough!!! Service was wonderful and the food was incredible. The lovely lady at the front who greeted us could tell we were warm and went out of her way to make sure to seat us right under an AC unit. Our waiter was also incredibly nice and had wonderful energy. Drinks were all delicious, and the food was super comforting. I hadn't been to an Irish pub since I moved here so it was awesome to find such a wonderful place like this, we will for sure be back and frequenting eating here!

Joy F.

Yelp
Fun, good service, good food. Happy hour appetizers VERY reasonable. The Irish Empanadas were delicious and quite filling.

Henry Y.

Yelp
Always good and plenty of choices. Kids under 12 eat free on Sunday, so here I am with my youngest grandson for brunch. Breakfast with a side of fried calamari and live music on the patio overlooking the waterway skip the biscuits and sausage gravy

Germanie J.

Yelp
My first visit here was amazing!... I've recently returned twice in the past few weeks and it wasn't so great :( Service was great! Views were great! Food was NOT GOOD AT ALL. 2 weeks ago I ordered the birria grilled cheese and was not impressed. The sandwich had a weird taste. It's hard to describe but it's like the meat was cooked in sour water...fast forward to this weekend when I ordered the artichoke dip pizza. Now, I love artichoke so I know what it's supposed to taste like. The smell coming from the pizza was PUNGENT! The taste was awful and the same sour taste was present. No matter how much ranch and hot sauce I dipped the pizza in, the taste was just unbearable. This last visit really did it for me. Unsure if I'll return, and if so I'll have to get items that don't necessarily have ti be prepared such as fries. :-(

Yelp
Celebrating Saint Patrick Day. !!!! Amaizing Irish breakfast goods And the service outstanding St. Patrick's Day is held on March 17 every year in remembrance of St. Patrick, who died March 17, 461. Although he was born in Britain, he is believed to be responsible for bringing Christianity to Ireland. No matter what no believer did to him.

Lord H.

Yelp
Had a solid post-concert dinner & drinks with friends here; Loved the staff & the food was far, far beyond what we expected to find fighting a crowd of thousands leaving a show looking for the same so late. The place was absolutely slammed but food was fast & truly perfect. Fish & Chips, Spinach Artichoke Dip & the Reuben blew the whole table away. Everything we got was 10/10. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

N V.

Yelp
The Goose's Acre is great. We have eaten there several times. We had Easter brunch there this year. We sat out on the upper patio. It was a perfect Texas day. I had the fish. & chips. My sister had the House Caesar Salad. If you want mimosas; buy a bottle of their sparkling & a carafe of orange juice. This gets you 5-6 mimosas. It's a lot cheaper than paying $5 a glass. Note that their holiday brunch is different from their regular menu. There's also a buffet. We chose to order from the menu. The staff are very polite. They are professional & quick to help. You can't go wrong eating here. There's general valet parking. Parking spots are rare. If you haven't tried Goose's Acre; you're missing out on great food & fabulous service.

Christie D.

Yelp
First time visiting this place and everything about it was great! The restaurant is two stories and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Clean restrooms and cool decor. Service was fast and our waitress was very nice. We started with the jumbo soft pretzel which was served with guinness mustard and house queso. The pretzel and both dipping sauces were delicious! For entrees, I ordered off of the brunch menu and had the meat lovers omelet stuffed with crispy peppered bacon, breakfast sausage, ham, chopped red onion and shredded cheddar cheese. It was very good! My husband ordered off of the regular menu and had the house made meatloaf served with garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed green beans. He loved it and so did I. The meatloaf had such a great flavor. I'm sure we'll visit again when back in this area.

Kristina A.

Yelp
Fun Irish American spot. You have to order the cheese sticks and their ranch is AMAZING. The shepards pie are half price on Fridays during the day

Oscar M.

Yelp
Let me start off with the food, I've been here several times and the food is great all the time! My favorite dish here is their fish & chips though (hint: Monday's is half off!). I've also had their shepherd's pie which is excellent and for sharing their tuna poke won't disappoint. Their service is always friendly, never had a bad experience. Every time we come in their manager is seen making rounds to the tables asking if everything is good. Great service! The only thing I would say brings down my review is the cleanliness of their place, it is fairly clean however I would recommend new sets of cloth napkins and newer menus. Overall great place to eat for lunch or dinner in The Woodlands waterway.

Cory W.

Yelp
So fairly dead...but best meal ever (as far as pork chops go)! Would get the pork chops 15 times over! Great recommendation by our bar tender!

Wild Yeti '.

Yelp
Had a very enjoyable meal at Goose Acres, sitting outside along the canal watching the people stroll by or float by in the swan boats. The food was delicious, especially the bread pudding for dessert. The service was timely. Excellent place to go for a relaxing outdoor meal, except in the hot, and I do mean HOT, Houston-Hot summer.

Courtney G.

Yelp
Deviled eggs so good, went for the .25 cent name day calendar and even 10 Oz beer wasn't very cold but you can't beat 4 beers for 1.00

Josh W.

Yelp
Good food, better atmosphere, and the best location. Service was great as well. The Goose's Acre is normally our go to when attending concerts at Cynthia Woods.

Sangstaa L.

Yelp
Wings were Absolutely bussing , Pretzel was next level (W the cheese, mustard was weird for me) Cool waiter, he was a nice dude. Overall experience, 5/5 Food is obviously not the BEST because it's a pub but these wings inspired me for sure. Go get the wings!!!! TRISTEN was my waiter, bro was mad cool Shout out to bro

Hannah L.

Yelp
Food here is delicious! Staff is super friendly also! They are all very helpful, even if they aren't your original waiter- even the hostess. The food is great! We ordered the spinach artichoke dip and it was very different. But a very very good different. I'm not sure what it was, but it was different than any other spinach artichoke dip I've ever had. We also got the burgers. Pro tip- Tuesdays they have half price burgers! And they're pretty darn good. Very big also, so if you don't eat much you should split it! For drinks, they have lots of different flavor margaritas and sangrias and they are pretty darn good. Also on Tuesdays they have a deal where you can bring any kind of 32oz container and get half off any draft beer as well! They have an outdoor and indoor space and both have lots of space. They have booth and table options. They have live music on many of the weekend nights and it's not too loud that you can hear it from inside or anything. Inside they have two levels with lots of room. Would recommend going here!

Michele G.

Yelp
We had a great lunch today with the family. Even though they were busy we still got our food out pretty fast. Everything was great and we got a wide assortment at the table.

Cassandra S.

Yelp
The WaterWay and Goose's Acre specifically were pretty quite on a Thursday around lunch time. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a typical Irish restaurant setting. A bar and numerous booths for seating inside. My waiter was super cool and was on top of his game. The food was excellent. The chips and three dips appetizer was the perfect start to my meal. The queso was my favorite. The shepherds pie was great tasting as well. I will definitely be back for another visit - probably on a Thursday night next time, so I can play some bingo!

Bubba T.

Yelp
Cornbeef plate was on point! Not overcooked nor undercooked. Didn't have to fight with the meat just to pull apart! The mustard spread that came along was delicious! It was not too overpowering and spicy!

Sara T.

Yelp
Food was good Service was alright Ambiance was wonderful perfect nice getaway with a nice relaxing view Parking and trolley depends where you parked and took the free trolley it's easy to park Great place to hangout

Yelp
Where do I even begin? My colleagues and I flew into The Woodlands for an annual industry conference this week. We decided several weeks prior to host a two night networking event for our industry partners and we came across The Goose's Acre online. Via phone and email, I worked alongside the General Manager, Brandi, weeks in advance to come up with great options for this event. Brandi was amazing! She helped us come up with some amazing signature drinks, arranged for event supplies shipping straight to the restaurant, and tee'd everything up for her team. BIG THANK YOU TO THE STAFF!! Each of you made all of us look so good by going above and beyond for us! Rick, there is no bartender like you out there! You are talented and there were so many compliments to what drinks you were making for us! Your speed is UNMATCHED! You would have thought there was a full staff behind the bar with the speed you were making the drinks! Your talent is limitless! MASTER MIXOLOGIST! Reggie and Mallory (I finally found someone with my name!), our dedicated servers, there are no words for how amazing the two of you are. With the both of you being the "face" of Goose's Acre with these guests, you did your management/owners proud! Your personalities and attention to detail made us want for nothing. Over the two days we worked together to put on this event, you guys went above and beyond any expectation that I could have had. From helping with setup/takedown, to mingling, making our song playlist, and just all around bringing the additional layer of fun to the event! People knew the two of you by name as you both knew theirs as well. Once again, no words for you both! Kitchen Staff/Runners, thank you for producing such DELICIOUS FOOD at ROCKET SPEEDS!!!! My personal favorites were the Chicken Fried Chicken, Deviled Eggs, Irish Nachos, Filet Salad....ok ok...so best advice here for someone trying them out is to just close your eyes and point to anything on the menu and you will be happy! Josh & Leo, thank you guys for supporting your staff and our guests over the two days. You all went above and beyond! I say all this to say...GO SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS at The Goose's Acre! You will NOT be disappointed!

Games With J.

Yelp
GREAT service!! From the host right when you walk in to the waite, everyone was so nice. The food was amazing and came out very fast. Live music and the restaurant itself was such a vibe and makes for a great night out!!

Sam T.

Yelp
Great food, seriously. While staying at the nearby Marriott, I take a 30 sec walk to this place. The chicken tenders, YES, and seared Tuna Salad, YES YES! I had it 2 days in a row! I was part of a corp event and we threw a wonderful party here, 2 nights in a row! The staff was so welcoming, helpful, and they kept our bellies full. They were just GREAT! This is a fine establishment run by fine people.

Shan P.

Yelp
The food is bar food not very good , service was poor but the location was great. Nice patio area to sit and relax.

Paige F.

Yelp
I rarely leave Yelp reviews but I pulled out my phone to make one because the Deviled Eggs were SO GOOD. They have fried chicken and carmelized onions on them and I can't even describe how much I loved them. Definitely try them out if you pass by!

Felyn B.

Yelp
I dined here for the first time on the last Saturday of June. It was for a pre-concert dinner since I was going to see Brian Wilson (of The Beach Boys) and Chicago (the band, not the musical) later on at the Pavilion. It was surprisingly not crowded; I'm still a bit hesitant of dining in because of COVID. Anyway, my pre-concert drinks were iced tea, an Irish Mule (made with Bushmills Irish Whiskey and Goslings Ginger Beer), and iced water. The Irish Mule was a bit strong, but it was still delicious. Trust me, when the alcohol started to kick in, it convinced me to order dessert. Ha,ha. This is what happens when you haven't had liquor for more than two years. Yep, damn you, COVID! ;-) I didn't bother ordering an appetizer, so onto the main course. The main course for me was the Whiskey-Soaked Braised Short Rib with Sweet Potato Purée and Sautéed Vegetable Blend. Delicious! I didn't really need the accompanying knife, but used it anyway to cut through the soft and tender short rib. The flavors were awesome and seasoned just the way I liked it. I have to admit that it was a choice between this and their signature fish and chips, but I'm glad this landed as the choice after playing eeny-meeny-miny-moe. Ha, ha. Remember how the alcohol convinced me to get dessert? I ordered the Irish Bread Pudding. The bread pudding was with Jameson walnut sauce, and vanilla ice cream. It was really sweet, and unfortunately, it defeated me. :-( Oh well, I wished I had it boxed, but I would have been made to throw it away once I reached the entrance to the Pavilion. My waiter's/server's name was Tris, aka Tristan. Awesome guy! Really patient, and understanding.

Kaitlyn H.

Yelp
Came by for a quick bite and was quickly disappointed. We recommend the Parmesan garlic fries and truffle whipped potatoes but the roasted Brussels sprouts were ok. We were greeted by one server who took our drink orders but said we'd be taken care by Bree. Bree brought us the wrong beer, sat our food down at an empty table next to us while she talked casually to another table next to us and overall provided inadequate service. The manager Joshua came after we had to ask for the check from 2 employees and the host and then asked for a manager from Bree after we were never asked if we wanted entrees or anything. He apologized for not having enough servers but we clearly saw a lot of staff and yet somehow none of them could help us.

Yelp
We walked in and noticed a sign stating, "1/2 priced Lunch" on Sundays and confirmed with the hostess that it included Brunch. We were seated and received our food. The omelet order was incorrect and took until the rest of the meals were finished to arrive. The avocado toast was wet and tart. The ham served with the pancakes was like deli meat for a sandwich. The salmon was flavorless. The mozzarella sticks were sadly the best part. Upon receiving our check we were surprised to see that everything was full priced. When we asked the waitress, she said the hostess was new and must've been confused. I went inside to take a picture of the sign: it had been erased. This was a major marketing error on their part which they should've honored. We left dissatisfied and will not be returning.

Yelp
Their pizza here is amazing! The food during the day is really good and at night it becomes a full on bar scene. Overall, it's a good place. The only reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 stars is because sometimes at night it gets too dirty.

Yelp
The boys and i came to Houston for some work and we got hungry late at night. Looking for places to go and knowing nothing about Houston this place was awesome. It was a restaurant and bar upstairs and we heard loud ass music downstairs. It turns out the lower floor clears out into a dance floor at night. The bartender with suspenders and a beard was super dope. We had a few drinks and then went upstairs to grab a table to eat. The burgers and fries were delicious. The ranch dressing was soooo good. The young blonde waiter had excellent customer service. Came to check on us and gave us recommendations. Gave me extra ranch. All in all a late night snack turned into a fantastic night out.

Yelp
The food was good, loved being able to sit outside near the riverwalk, just required a little patience.

Yelp
We visited Goose's Acre this weekend for my mom's birthday. Both the inside and outside are lovely. They have fans and heaters outside and a lovely view of the waterway. Their drinks were delicious as well as the food and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed a turkey melt, fish and chips, and a breakfast platter as well as draft beers and Moscow mules. Everything was great we will definitely return.

Yelp
The Hubby and I love riding our bikes up here, sitting outside, while enjoying some of their Appetizers and Beer. We always get their appetizer sampler that comes with nachos, artichoke dip, loaded potatoes wedges and more. It is delicious ! We also love ordering different flights of beer to try. Overall we just love coming here because of the fun atmosphere and great service!
