Absolutely delicious! The server was attentive and helpful. She suggested the smash burger. You can’t go wrong ordering it. The burger was tender and juicy. The sauce was really yummy. To end it she suggested the chocolate chip cookie in a skillet with vanilla bean ice cream. Would definitely come back and eat there again!

We had an excellent experience. The food was fresh and delicious and was served quickly. The pretzel was awesome! They were very accommodating with food allergies and served us close to close. The bartender did an excellent job and the drinks were perfect! 5 stars. We will visit again next time we come through town. The best meal we have had in Billings the entire weekend.

Kate- Kate was our server for this evening and for the record she was the nicest most professional i have ever had! Who dates the left container? Kate does! A+ Food- we tried the corn soup. Some salads and the Granary pasta. Presentation was very nice and every dish was tasty and fresh. The restaurant was super cozy and the fireplace was a nice touch. If i lived in Billings i would be a regular as we are finding out the food here can be hit or miss. Granary A! Nice job P.S. they have the coolest silverware!

This place USED to be one of the best spots in town. The past few years …. Not sure what they’re doing… menu changes constantly find something good it’s gone the next time you come. Horrible service one day ok the next it’s a hit and miss all the time. Order a pasta with shrimp…. Three shrimps cut into tiny pieces to be perceived as a lot of shrimp for $30. No thank you! If o go back it’ll be a hard decision. I’ve tried numerous times to “like” the new granary but it’s just not there. Honestly. Why why why did y’all try to fix something that wasn’t broken…. 15-20 years ago this place was one of the hottest spots in town.

We had a lovely evening meal on the patio. Our server Kayla was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Very smiley and engaging. My husband had the oysters which were amazing and I enjoyed a fresh flavorful salad. Highly recommend. This will be our new go-to.

Had been going here with my wife for about three years and every time was a great experience until we went a few months ago. I requested a table for 2 in a quiet part of the restaurant for our anniversary and we got sat between a birthday party and a table of 8. Our Server didnt wait on us for 30 minutes and the menu had somehow been shrunk into a quarter of what had been on there before. I am assuming they have new owners or people have just given up in customer service related jobs

On a business trip, I came here for dinner or alone after receiving a strong recommendation from a very good friend. I sat outside by the fire pit. The server and service were fantastic and very attentive. Good selection of beer and wine, including nonalcoholic, beer, which I appreciated and enjoyed. They serve the Athletic brand of NA beers, and the price was fair and reasonable ($5). I had the fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce. Very good fish and chips, although too expensive (I’ve had the best fish and chips in the world in the UK and New Zealand, prices for nowhere near this!). Overall, I would highly recommend. The rest of the menu looks fantastic as well, and I was curious about the burger, Arrabiata/meatball dish, and the soups.

Google
We had a wonderful time, I got to reminiscing about when coming to this restaurant when I was an RMC student and how incredibly diverse and classy it was then- to now having it even more so improved and our professional waitstaff (Ash) went above and beyond. Amazing atmosphere, for professional dining to down to earth tones. Highly recommend as always, but after being away for almost a decade I can say this place still holds my memories in place while I am able to create lovely new ones. Food is delicious, services are on par, and the overall ascetic is classic with family touches.

Yelp
A little higher on the budget scale, but I think it's worth it. Staff is friendly and professional. The food was so good! With so many chains these days, the Granary genuinely felt fresh and homemade. Good date night spot.

Yelp
my wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at this restaurant. I unfortunately left my sunglasses on the table and realized once I got back to the hotel that I left my glasses and when I went back, the restaurant was closed so since July 8, I've tried to call them at least 15 times and emailed them twice. I've been on hold for at least 2 1/2 hours over the last 15 attempts to call them I've emailed them nobody ever returns my emails nor does anybody ever answer the phone, I will never go back to this restaurant. Their service sucks. I do take responsibility for leaving my but was hoping that somebody would have at least called me to let me know that they had saved them, but I am assuming at this point that somebody at the restaurant probably just gained $150 pair of sunglasses..... very disappointed with the unfortunate poor professionalism by this establishment. FYI don't leave anything at this restaurant because they'll take it and never call you back nor will they ever answer your emails.

Yelp
One of the worst meals I've had in Billings to date. The appetizer listed as "chicken dumplings" turned out to be freezer burned commercial gyozas that we lukewarm and leathery. The entree I settled on, after being told that they were out of the bone in pork chop and all the steaks, was the baked airline chicken breast. That poor, poor chicken... Firstly, at $30 it was ridiculously small and being over cooked didn't help; dry and flavorless. Accompanying was a thin smear of potato puree that was way over salted, and sauteed asparagus that was a vegetable crime scene, way over salted and peppered, mixed sizes so a few of the spears were al dente but the small thinner spears were verging on mush. The kitchen has no idea of how to execute the menu and should go back to McDonalds where the cuisine would match their skill set. The service was attentive and I felt so sorry for my waitress, she deserved a better product to serve. The bar did a quite adequate job with my martini and the wine list, though small, was interesting and varied. I'd go back for cocktails. It is a very nice, up scale and comfortable space, it's a pity that their kitchen's abilities are more suited to a greasy spoon.

Yelp
Good food, atmosphere and service. Personally, I'd like to see some more choices on their dinner menu but I recommend it anyway. In the summer, they also have a great patio.

Yelp
I'm pretty sure they forgot to make my order and then set the other plates under a heat lamp. Absolutely disgusting for the prices they charge.

Yelp
Stopped by for dinner after hearing they had a new chef. Wow! What a great meal! Vegetarian friends don't be put off by their menu, there is always a vegetarian option and best part is it changes so always something different to experience. Great spot and even though it's winter the patio is a great spot for warmer months. Excited for another night out and to see what Chef Megan has in store.

Yelp
We have ate here a few times. Beautiful restaurant. Love the decor and customer service. Every time we go, there is no one there. The menu looks delicious. But everytime we go we get nasty tasting dish or two. Took my boss and his family there. They kept sending their food back. They finally just didn't eat it. It was so embarrassing. The restaurant has potential, sad the meals couldn't be presented as described.

Yelp
Just come for dessert. My parents took my husband and I out to dinner at the Granary. Our server, Kim was very friendly and has a great laugh. She gave us great service and her fun personality just shined. My husband and Dad ordered the Paella, which was just ok. It didn't have much flavor and only a few pieces of seafood. I ordered the Nicois salad, which was brought to me without the ahi tuna - the kitchen staff let me know this was her mistake & that she would get my tuna out right away (which she did). My salad also seemed to be missing the dressing on it so just didn't quite taste right. Mom had the Louis salad, which she enjoyed. We ordered a nice Pinot Grizzio, which went well with all our entrees. Our server Kim ordered bread to be delivered to our table, but the kitchen did not bring it so she gave us a dessert on the house due to the serving errors. We had what I would call a s'mores charcuterie, which was more than enough for all four of us to share. The dessert was home made fluff served with graham crackers, Oreo crumbles and white & choc. chips. It was delicious & one of the most creative dessert I've ever had. There is definitely room for improvement on the food. The prices are far too expensive for what you get & flavor of the food (with the exception of our dessert). Kim gets four stars for service and the rest of the staff was friendly. I enjoyed looking at all the old of photos on the walls and liked the ambiance. Just come for dessert & a drink.

Yelp
Food was adequate, at best. Service was very poor. Waited nearly 5 minutes atb the hostess stand for someone to seat us. After we were seated our waitress came by to drop off menus then disappeared for over 10 minutes. When she finally returned we ordered then after another unreasonably long wait she brought out the food. Both dishes were bland and forgettable. I needed more dressing for my salad as the amount provided was very small. I had to go track down our waitress to get more dressing as she never came back to the table. Extremely underwhelmed in every way. I will not be going back.

Yelp
Food is delicious, the beer is cold and there are fun cocktails on the menu. I love the patio!

Yelp
I had the privilege of going to dinner with my family there last week. We had a wonderful experience from the very get-go. The presentation of the food was outstanding and very creative. The food was exceptionally tasteful, and the portions were great. The server was very friendly and met all of our needs. I want to tip my hat off to chef Megan for a wonderful dining experience! Yelp
Oh sooo disappointed! Sunday eve 4 of us about 5:45 for dinner. Food was not good, not hot, not flavorful & service was slow...& it was not busy in the dining room where we were or the adjacent bar area. Prices are too high for quality of food/service. Won't be back for winter season...

Lindsey C.

Yelp
The food was amazing. My dad and I shared the Big A** Pretzel and their steak special. Both were amazing. The pretzel was fluffy, buttery, and absolutely delicious. The steak had a beautiful crust and great flavor. Plus the broccolini and mashed potatoes great fabulous!

Yelp
This place was a mixed bag. Went there for lunch. The tuna tostadas were great. The pasta was ok. Had good flavor, noodles were just ok. Pretty pricy. My wife had the gyro, which the meat was very good, they're was just no toppings you usually find on a gyro. Don't get the Bloody Mary, was not good.

Yelp
Good food and atmosphere with exceptionally slow service. We have had 3 poor experiences in a row. Last week, it took over 2 hours for our meal of burgers and salads to make it to the table. Our expensive wine was gone an hour before our food. For the trouble, we received a free dessert. We had a similar experience the prior time we tried dinner. Staff forgot to put our order in, so we waited 2.5 hours for meals. I sent an email to management with my concerns, and they have not responded. I would recommend spending your hard earned money elsewhere that values customer service and communication.

Yelp
Confused - had dinner here - things were quite mixed. Service was slow, but we suspect a server had let them down and not shown up. The waitress needed quite some alerting to attend to us. Entrees were a mixed bag. Sprouts were delicious. Paella seemed to have been cooked by a confused person who likely has never visited Spain. Instead of a saffron yellow a brown tasteless porridge made up mainly of peas (not mentioned on the menu) was produced. Chorizo was allegedly included - but Poirot would have been needed to investigate the traces to affirm it was present (the taste surely was not). The wine offering was good - ordering a Napa Cab resulted in similar random results. A decent central California cab was produced but not a Napa Cab as ordered.. This restaurant seems to be run by a schizophrenic poorly travelled chef who will arbitrarily replace or add ingredients. Ultimately seemed like a casino for food. Roll the dice - maybe you'll be lucky!!

Yelp
The Granary has the best patio in town so I was excited it was cool enough to eat outside. Was a little disappointed in the upkeep of the patio - needed a good hose down on the ground and tables. That said the server was wonderful and very patient. The oysters and crab legs were excellent according to my husband (I don't eat sea bugs). My hummus was a little bland but still ok and the naan was really good. A but pricey but not horrid.

Yelp
My wife and I celebrated her birthday here on 9/12 we had a 5 PM reservation for two. The food was excellent as was the staff, we were enjoying our time in this quiet part of the restaurant. There were two ladies next to us who were also enjoying their wine etc. Then came a gaggle of females who right off the bat were very loud and obnoxious. The noise got so loud the two ladies next to us picked up their silverware/ wine and moved to another table exclaiming to us that it was difficult to have a conversation and we agreed. During this time more and more feral females came in to join the rest of the obnoxious bunch. We could have enjoyed it more and stayed longer but one can only take so much so the wife and I left. My compliments to the staff whom had to deal with such filth, I hope they got a good tip. As for me and my wife we'll not return to this establishment and we definitely will not recommend this establishment to friends and family. They can keep their clientele of ferals... My only recommendation to the proprietor would be to start addressing such behavior so that all guests have a peaceful and enjoyable time with their family and friends when they do support your establishment.

Mallory N.

Yelp
Paige served us at the bar, great service! She recommended the Fuschia 'Round (and find out). It was perfect, she deserves a raise! Great ambiance, love the decor. We will be back!

Valerie H.

Yelp
I will never support this establishment due to the ownership no matter how attractive their patio might be.

Yelp
Food and service were excellent. However - I ordered a mocktail and was served a regular cocktail. After taking a sip, I verified with the waitress that there was no alcohol in the drink, and she confirmed. Several minutes later the bartender came by, profusely apologizing, saying that there was alcohol in the drink. I haven't had an alcoholic drink in 8 years, and I am also pregnant. So I was pretty upset by the whole thing. Just be very wary if ordered a non-alcoholic beverage.
