The Grand Brighton

My partner and I (both in our mid-50s) recently enjoyed our very first stay at The Grand Brighton, and we’re already talking about when we can return. This was a bit of a treat for us—a short seaside getaway—and The Grand certainly lived up to its name. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the building’s classic charm. There’s a real sense of history to the place, but it’s been beautifully maintained and tastefully updated where needed. The check-in process was warm and efficient, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished + air con. The bed was very comfortable (we slept incredibly well), and little touches like proper tea and coffee-making facilities and quality toiletries didn’t go unnoticed. Breakfast was generous and well-prepared, with a good range of options. We particularly appreciated the vegetarian choices and the fact that everything was hot and fresh. We also took advantage of the hotel bar for evening drinks, and it was lovely—relaxed atmosphere, good service, and a nice spot to unwind after a day of exploring the Lanes and strolling along the pier. This was our first visit to The Grand, and Brighton in general, but certainly not our last. We felt well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended for couples looking for a bit of seaside elegance with a personal touch.

We stayed at The Grand Brighton for our wedding night and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly special and well looked after. The room was beautiful and elegant, the perfect place to unwind after such a big day. Breakfast the next morning was delicious with a great variety, and enjoying drinks in the bar overlooking the sea was the perfect way to continue the celebrations. We stayed a second night and were so glad we did — it gave us time to truly relax and soak it all in. A huge thank you to everyone at The Grand for making our stay so memorable. We highly recommend it for any special occasion or romantic getaway!

Chose to have my wedding here some years back and it was perfect. Everything was handled with such care and attention by the wedding co-ordinator whose name was Charlotte. She was amazing, listened to every detail we wanted and made it all happen. A real dream come true. It was the most unforgettable experience to of been married here and the wedding spaces were stunning. Food was absolutely delicious and they really go all out. We had a free menu tasting before deciding what we wanted which was extra special. We also had the honeymoon suite which was unbelievably luxurious! We were so glad to of chosen The Grand for our special day and would highly recommend it for weddings. Couldn’t of asked for a better more magical day

We stayed last week and had such a lovely time. The hotel was beautiful. All the staff were so helpful & friendly, particularly the gentlemen on the door & gentleman in the breakfast room. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice. We loved our room. It was spacious & comfortable. Brighton is such a great place with so much to see & do. We can't wait to go again & will definitely stay at the Grand.

We stayed in room with the bigger bed on the 2nd floor. It had a comfortable bed, beautiful linen, a spacious bathroom, with toiletries, and was spotless in every aspect. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, especially in the bar area and reception, the service is second to none. Parking: They very kindly reserved us a space as we had slight mobility problems, for which we were very grateful. The breakfast was great, massive choice catered for everyone, young and old and it was fresh and delicious. Location: The location was perfect for sightseeing, and the hotel had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's proximity to the beach/attractions was fantastic. We felt the price was reasonable for the quality of the stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for your next travel adventure

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Every interaction — from the front desk to housekeeping — was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. It’s clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority here. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel bar. Cosy, stylish, and expertly run, it was the perfect place to unwind in the evening. The bartender was not only skilled but also incredibly friendly, offering great conversation and even better cocktails. It felt less like a hotel bar and more like a local gem. Breakfast each morning was another standout. The variety and quality of the offerings were impressive — fresh pastries, perfectly cooked eggs, seasonal fruits, and rich, aromatic coffee that started the day off right. The dining staff was attentive and cheerful, making the experience even more enjoyable. This hotel is a true example of hospitality done right. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

The Grand by name and grand by hotel standards. We had a junior suite with sea view something on my wifes’ bucket list. Neither of us were disappointed. Room was excellent 5*+. The breakfast was by far the best I've had anywhere in the world and we have stayed in many hotels in our lifetime. We loved it and will hopefully visit again. Thank you.

Excellent two night stay for my first time at The Grand. We were welcomed on arrival and helped with our luggage. We stayed in a newly refurbished king room which we had requested twin beds for, it was a lovely room and the beds were very comfortable. We had drinks and bar food both nights and breakfast both mornings. Very impressed with the breakfast service and particularly impressed with the service given by the gentleman who greeted us, he was very engaging. Overall a wonderful weekend, we shall be back for sure.
