✨ Review: The Grand Buffet – Reno, NV ✨ If you’ve seen old reviews, forget them — the Grand Buffet has truly stepped it up under new management. The difference is night and day. The biggest highlight? Freshness. If food ever sits too long, it doesn’t get recycled — it gets replaced. At the end of the night, everything is cleared out so that the next day begins with fresh food and fruit across every station. And when I say everything is fresh, I mean everything. The variety is incredible: from seafood and steak to Italian, American comfort dishes, Asian specialties, and a dessert spread that feels endless. Afternoons are highly recommended for the widest range of options, though mornings are just as fun if you check the menus ahead of time to see what’s featured. The pho station and one other area may be closed, but honestly, with so many other choices around, it never feels like you’re missing out. The atmosphere is spacious, clean, and welcoming, and the staff take care of the dining room attentively — drinks get filled, tables stay cleared, and everything looks inviting. The service has that mix of warmth and efficiency that makes the experience feel effortless. Yes, this is a buffet, but not the kind where you’re left wondering if something sat too long. Here, quality and care are prioritized. The desserts are just as fresh as the entrees, the seafood is replenished regularly, and the carving station is always worth a stop. For anyone on the fence because of older complaints about price, quality, or service — this is not the same buffet you read about years ago. This is one of the best dining experiences Reno has to offer when you want variety, freshness, and an all-around great time. Highly recommended for families, date nights, or anyone who just wants to indulge in a feast where every detail is cared for. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Located inside the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino, The Grand Buffett has a very big area suitable for all group types. There was no wait for a table when we arrived at 10. The front of house was very friendly & accommodating. Not all stations were open (omelettes were being cooked at the Mongolian Grill station) but those that were, had fresh & hot food available. There was a lot of options at the fruits & salads, and desserts stations. Tony, our waiter, provided impeccable service & was very attentive to our requests.

Google
I like the overall decor and atmosphere. The food is very good. Most places neglect on the fruit and dessert sections but their selection is vast and the quality is excellent. They even have a fresh orange juice maker! I highly recommend the buffet and will return again.

Google
Great service. But the food was stale. the food looks like they had been *saved* from previous nights.. not fresh. Some of the "counters" were also not opened. Like the seafood counter was displaying fruits. The pho station was closed. No pasta at the omelette and pasta station. The omelette station was the only place that served fresh food but the line was too long with only one cook available. That and the orange juice machine.

Google
Food was good, standard casino buffet on a Friday night. We waited an hour in line. Food was good, atmosphere was pleasant, it was pretty packed so our server was very busy but she was still attentive.

Google
The first thing you’ll experience is sticker shock when they charge you $72 per person plus tax comes out to $75 per person. It’s not uncommon to find a lengthy line with 30 to 45 minute wait. Once you’re seated, there’s a variety of stations, where you can get everything from Italian, smokehouse, Italian, comfort, food, and a pretty big dessert bar. They have unlimited crab. They have both ope and Dungeness. my only complaint about the crab is that they serve it warm, which makes it difficult to pull the meat out in one piece. But you can eat all you want. I would say the quality of food for the price is not what I would expect. My server was courteous and very attentive.

Google
Would recommend coming at least 30minutes to an hour ahead of time so your wait time to get in is not long. The line usually is wrap around the corner. It was delicious 😋 & worth the wait. Adults were $70 per person. I enjoyed my dinner 🍽️.

Google
$45 adults. The buffet is free on Thursdays with 300 players club points. Redeem the free buffet at the promo kiosk before getting in line. Thursday has double points so it was pretty easy to get the points. (This is as of 4/4/24, you may want to call to ask about buffet/points promos) This buffet is pretty impressive. The line to get in took about 45 min. There is something for everyone here. Lots of seating with booths and tables. Friendly employees. Pretty clean for how busy it is. None of us enjoyed the prime rib. It was dry and overcooked. The crab was MUCH better than a typical buffet crab. It was like crab from the store. The crab is cold but can be grilled at the Mongolian station if you prefer it hot. The pho was great and the dessert selection was phenomenal.

Yelp
Been here a few times but just mediocre. Nothing special besides the crab legs. There is a variety of food to chose from such as Asian, American, Italian, pho soup, tacos, and deserts and more. Its a convenient place to eat at when arriving at the hotel when you dont know what to eat or go outside the hotel. We basically ate the cold and heated crab legs. The waiter was quick at cleaning our tables each time we finished eating. I think we ate our money's worth.

Yelp
After 10yrs I went back here with my family. The kids ate good. The steak is great, cooked perfectly! The omelette was cooked nicely. Tacos taste great! The Asian food was okay, I like the Siomai that most! My partner said it was 6/10. The seafood with snow crab legs are too fishy taste I ended up throwing all four legs. Dessert area my nieces enjoyed it! I like the truffle bar, I was excited for the canoli but the cream wasn't all the way just the tips. The mango was too sour. I enjoyed the strawberry mousse vegan cookies and the ice cream(cookies & cream). Overall, fam enjoyed.

Yelp
There's nothing grand about this buffet for sure! Don't get me wrong the venue and location is phenomenal! GSR should really rethink about this place! Has great potential! The brunch is not bad breakfast not bad carving station not good. Quit frankly everything was just bland! Servers just simply don't want to be there! The lady serving the gelato was rude, seems that she just took all of her problems and gave it to the customers, don't believe me? It's the older Mexican lady, try asking for ice cream she won't even tell you when it's ready! The carving station, oh boy the steak very bland and close to raw in the center, worst of all the only keep small section and they server always runs away, if you ask for steak you really got to ask for it seems that their on survival mode, don't even waste your money here, for $25 more you can go to the buffet at Atlantis the wait is long but it's definitely worth it

Yelp
Love the Grand Buffet and all of it's options. This is a restaurant where you can bring family, out of town visitors, finicky eaters, or those with special needs. Everyone gets fed. Service is ways great with prompt and pleasant servers. Quick to bring you all of the napkins you need for those yummy all you can eat shellfish dinners. Drink refills are a plenty. Love watching tourists and families having g a great time. Fun place to eat and everyone leaves full and happy

Yelp
I get that the holiday season can be overwhelming, but that doesn't excuse treating customers poorly. You're being paid to perform a job, and that means doing it well from the start. It's not my issue that you're busy; we all have our own responsibilities. Every one of us experiences hectic moments at work, yet it's essential to maintain accountability and provide excellent customer service, regardless of the circumstances. When guests are paying $68 for a meal, they deserve to be treated with respect, not like an inconvenience. Adding a mandatory gratuity to the bill without giving customers a choice is unacceptable, especially for those who fail to deliver good service--such individuals do not deserve a tip. I even asked for a refund on my meal because I refuse to spend my hard-earned money to be treated poorly when I consistently go above and beyond for my own guests. I understand the restaurant was busy, but the messiness was also a concern; one would expect that they would have staff available to keep things clean as the evening progresses. I was not impressed by the overall experience. I didn't try any of the food myself, but my family members, including my daughter, did, and they described it as just average--not bad, but not good either. Given the combination of subpar service and mediocre food, I strongly advise you to seek out another dining option. This restaurant is not worth your money. This was my sister's second visit, and she has had to voice complaints on both occasions. The situation only seems to be deteriorating.

Yelp
GSR the Grand Buffet. Yes please! Omelette station and the Pho stations I'll just live here! But great selection of great food that the menu changes often. Everyone is helpful and service is really good. A typical restaurant feel and vibe in the GSR. Always eating here for a meal when stay in Reno!

Yelp
5 stars only for our experience from Raul who was very attentive, super friendly and made sure our drinks were always full and our plates were cleared by the time we came back with another round of food. He really made our experience memorable with how kind he was. As for the food, a lot of options for stations- Asian, Italian, pho, American, carving, salad and desert, etc. however there was no MAC & cheese which was strange. My biggest concern was my undercooked chicken which scared me so I didn't eat it when I saw how pink it was. Traffic was mild for dinner, line was decent and the dining room was clean and not crowded. However more attention to the quality and consistency of food would be ideal. Overall, left feeling full and happy thanks to Raul!

Yelp
The buffet was expensive on a Saturday dinner at $52 per person before tax and tip. Our server was not friendly and he had a "I didn't care" attitude throughout our meal. He made a comment that we were eating too long. At that time, we were at the 90 minute mark. No one mentioned to us how long we were allowed to dine. We thought that we were allowed 2 hours to eat. Right before we left, we handed him a $20 bill for tip and he was nicer to us but it was too late. We found out later from a cashier that it's only 90 minutes to dine. For this price, they need to allow 2 hours to dine. I wasted a lot of time waiting at the pho station. The lady was not nice either. Seem like she doesn't like her job. She also had the "I don't care" attitude. She made me wait for a long while when she left the station to get more bowls. The pho was just ok. I would say though the meat filling in the wontons were pretty good but the wonton skins were awful. The Chinese food was terrible. The eggrolls looked like they were re-fried many times. It was gross even looking at it! The best thing was the prime rib, steak and the desserts. We were really thirsty after dining. Would not return.

Yelp
This review is based on a FREE buffet earned on "Thursday gamble $300 for free buffet" night. Quality/Quantity - I overate... And I am a light eater. I soooo regretted it afterwards. Woke up the next day still feeling off. Might not eat for the next 3 days, lol. Following stations, I was not able to visit all as I just could not eat any more. Seafood - Okay, came here twice for that delicious crab! Mediterranean. Mongolian Grill. Asian Wok - Got a sample of chow mein, noodles. Pacific Rim. Pho Station - I skipped; it was too hot for soup. Italian - Got some delicious deep fried raviolis. Smoke House - My favorite station, got a rib, prime rib, etc. Taco Bar - Made to order, thank you. Americano. Saute Omelets, Pasta. Sweets - Got a little of everything. Make sure you get that delicious gelato, ice cream! Saturday and Sunday open for breakfast/brunch. Atmosphere - Decent size, I have been here during busy weekends when you have a full house. Today, even with a free buffet after losing $300, lol, the seating was still manageable. I have not been here in a while, as I just can NOT eat enough to justify the cost. Or worse, I eat myself sick as I did today... Which again, was NOT worth it. Plenty of stations, more Asian selections then I expected. Open 4 days a week see Yelp or website; closed Mondays to Wednesdays. Service - Just okay, basically self-service. Price - Free (after losing $300, lol) + generous tip. Otherwise $45+ tax for adults, which I feel is expensive for what you get. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success, we are only customers when we are hosting guests. But don't worry, we frequent all your other restaurants. :) And are still loyal customers to your casino.

Yelp
You Have to stop by a buffet when in Reno. This one was pretty good. Went down for breakfast. Like most buffets some hits and some misses, but they have everything you could want! The restaurant was surprisingly clean despite how busy they were. Service was hit and miss. The hostess' were just flat out unfriendly and great at making you feel unwelcome. The server was a sweet lady who kept checking on us & filing our drinks. Not the best buffet around but certainly not the worst.
google avatar

Yelp
Price for children was decent. Some other places would overcharge for children. Selection is pretty decent. Desserts are delicious.
google avatar

Jane B.

Yelp
Food was on point. The fillet mignon was my favorite with a close follow of crab legs. Mimosas were amazing! The server was kind and attentive. The restaurant was clean and well taken care of. It was fairly busy since it was Mother's Day but we were still seated in a reasonable time.

Yelp
We went in for the Seafood buffet and it was absolutely terrible. The king crab had zero flavor, the snow crab had no flavor. The place was packed and the service wasn't great. I have been going to this Casino for over 20 years, back when it was the Hilton, when it became GSR and up until now. Not once have I ever been this disappointed in a buffet. Pre-covid this buffet was one of the best. We would actually prefer it over the Atlantis buffet (which is known for their seafood). Not anymore. It was very pricey, but we just assumed it would be as good as it used to be. It was not. Everything was just awful. Absolutely flavorless. If you told me the crab was in a deep freeze for the past 15 years id believe you. Do yourself a favor, go to the Atlantis if you want a seafood buffet. Don't make the same mistake we did, they do not care about the food quality at GSR anymore.

David D.

Yelp
The service is very attentive. The food options are great and the price was acceptable for a weekend.
google avatar

Diane S.

Yelp
WOW! Absolutely disappointing for $79/person! Lobster buffet and you only get 1 overly cooked rubbery Lobster! How can GSR possibly call this a Lobster buffet when the lobsters were limited to only 1 per person! False advertisement! To top that off the food was horrible! Everything was either too sweet. Salt, or overcooked! What happened GSR? Your buffet used to be decent! The most appetizing food was the beef pho sad to say! Soooooo disappointing! Definitely will.nit be back here again, especially not for $79/person. Service was not great either, our drinks were never refilled. Toucan Charlie's at Atlantis it is next time we are back. Toucan Charlie's never disappoints!

Yelp
Since Covid, there hasn't been a buffet that I was interested in going to. I was invited to the Grand Buffet and can now say, it's one of my go-to! For transparency, I visited on "Lobster night," where each guest had one ticket to a lobster and unlimited crab dishes. It was $69.00 per adult and $34.00 per child. I encourage anyone going to this buffet to look online/social media for special nights. Regardless, all of the normal food options were pretty tasty! I found myself enjoying the variety offered and went back for seconds. Will be recommending this buffet when asked, what's the best buffet in Reno/Sparks?

Mimi R.

Yelp
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. We did the lobster buffet. $90 for nasty food. The lobster was rubbery, the prime rib unseasoned and bland. There was not one thing in this buffet that was decent. This place is a total rip off. The "waitress" brought us a check every time we ordered a drink and then continued to stand there and keep asking us to sign it. There is nothing hospitable about this place. I told several people in line not to waste their money. Go to chickies. It's right across from it and the food and service is a million times better. This place was disgusting

Yelp
We headed to brunch at The Grand Buffet, located inside the main casino floor of the Grand Sierra Resort. When we approached the restaurant, there wasn't a line (especially surprising for a Saturday), so our 5-person party walked right up to the cashier. She informed us that they were still serving breakfast which was okay since that's the meal the kids like the best. The total price with $35 per person plus $20 tip was about $200. The hostess greeted us warmly and seated our party at a very spacious table near the exit and our server, Joaquina, introduced herself and took our drink orders. Once drinks were settled, each member of our party took turns checking out the food. There was a huge variety of cuisines: American, Asian, Mediterranean, Latin, Seafood, Salad and desserts. Plus they have a meat carving, custom omelette and Pho station. Unfortunately, the seafood section and the Pho station were both closed. There was also a fresh-squeezed orange machine at the salad bar. Most of the food was good but the waffle, apple and breakfast sausages were a bit tough. The place setting we received, didn't include a teaspoon so it was a bit challenging to eat the miniature cups of dessert with a fork. The restaurant attempts to be upscale with the modern furnishings and decor but the effort doesn't extend to their food. I've been to this buffet a couple of times in the past and was really impressed with their offerings which is why I took my sister and her family here so they can also experience and enjoy it but the buffet isn't the same as it use to be,

Yelp
First time trying this buffet at the Grand Sierra. I was very excited to try all the fun goodies awaiting my tummy. The line was not long when we got there but shortly after it filled up pretty fast. I suggest getting there a hour at least before opening. I started out with one ravioli stuffed with mushrooms, a couple fried zucchini, fried shrimp, some crab legs looked like half a whole crab, mashed potatoes with gravy and a chocolate coffee cake. Everything I got was ok for a buffet, but the mashed potatoes wth gravy stood out the most for me on that first round. The ravioli tasted like lasagna I was expecting more mushroom wild forage type of taste. Not a fan of the zucchini it was kinda limp from the moisture of the hot pans. I enjoyed the crab legs after the host brought us some leg crackers (idk the word for that tool). Second trip was for a great big bowl of beef stock pho with beef and tofu all the veggies. Along with a lemon meringue slice of pie and some pineapple fruit. The PHO was amazing!!!! It was my favorite The broth was so golden with just the right amount of spices & fixens. I also got a pork rib and prime meat slice from the carvers station. They were not for me a little too bloody on the prime and too greasy on the pork rib. The drinks come in huge I mean extra huge glasses. Either this is for the host and hostess don't have to make so many trips to refill, or the company wants you to fill up on drinks to cut down on food waste and consumption. The price was kinda high for the amount of food I actually ate but I know they do offer lots of food options with different special booths that make custom items for your liking. If you have a huge appetite you can eat something from every spot. The seating is not the best this time around. I was sat right next to the long line of customers waiting to come in giving us hurry up and leave looks. The casino floor right there with all the bells and whistles and cigarette smoke ruining my mealtime. Next time I'll ask to sit as far as possible from there I know the smoke travels but for a non smoker it really is not favorable. Smoking is unhealthy, causes death and I hate going to the casinos because of this main reason. Overall I don't know if I'll ever make this my first choice to go but if someone had a get together or wanted to go try it I would go with them. The deserts looked amazing. I didn't get to try them all .
google avatar

May Celeste C.

Yelp
This is a pricey buffet. I say worth it with the fresh moist crabs my family enjoyed. I enjoyed all food. Unlike other buffet that just cooks whatever. They have sugar free and gluten free deserts options which I was really thrilled about. The little one is free. So that's a plus. I am giving this a 5 star because of the latter reason. Being considerate.

Yelp
Sunday brunch is very good here. Whenever we dine here we request our favorite server, Saul! He is the absolute BEST, and always makes sure that our champagne & waters are never empty, and is always friendly. Saul is a huge reason we keep returning to the buffet!! My favorites here are the crab legs, peel & eat shrimp, and Pho. I typically don't eat anything else lol The buffet area and dining area are both kept clean and tidy.

Yelp
The grand buffet was pretty good. However i was pretty stunned by the fact that we lined up for an hour, checked their prices online, but when we got to the register they suddenly said it was holiday pricing and the price jumped from $45 to $75/person. After tax and tip it became ~ $90/person. Pretty outrageous However the food was pretty good, some highlights were that they had prime rib (i think they always have this) Dungeness crab and snow crab. They also had a poke station that tasted just plain. Their pho station was cool, soup was good. Their oysters were terrible, hard to eat and had so much sand. It was basically crunchy. Their desserts selection was excellent, a nice variety of ice cream too! I think it would've been great value at a cheaper price point but for what they charged us it wasn't amazing. I'd still come back but definitely not for holiday pricing. Also our server was amazing, attentive, and helped clean up very regularly on top of refilling drinks

Yelp
We came for the Christmas buffet and we were so glad we did! We had tickets to the Christmas show so we got in line early at 4 pm. We waited an hour and a half to be seated. The seating area is huge but they were busy. We barely had enough time to eat before the show. They don't take reservations so plan to go at least two hours in advance if you need to finish dinner by a certain time. Not sure what the wait time is on a non-holiday night. There was a wide variety of buffet items and everything tasted great. Our favorite was the hot Dungeness crab! Come hungry because you will want to try everything!
google avatar

Odin M.

Yelp
Pricey as hell for ok food. Don't eat the crawfish! They boil it without any Cajun seasoning. Which really sucks! The breaded shrimp is really good. The steak tasted exactly like smoke brisket which was weird. The crab is cold, BUT you can ask the staff to heat it up for you, which was REALLY awesome that one of them did that. I wish I knew her name as she was cool Deserts were good.

Yelp
I recently dined at The Grand Buffet inside the Grand Sierra Resort. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Decent variety, but not quite worth the price.

Yelp
Service: 3/10 The line was ridiculous and the cashiers were in no particular hurry to do anything about it. There was over 20 cleaned and ready tables once we got in. The food was not being replenished at the rate it was being consumed. The server was fine and the reason it was 3 of 10 instead of 1 of 10. Price: 2/10. Obviously they can get $50+ per head or they wouldn't charge that. . It is hard to evaluate price based on limited competition for "buffets". IMO, you can do better for $70 per person food, drinks, and tips Atmosphere: 7/10. The place is clean and has nice decor. The smell of smoke from the casino floor is minimal but it is still there. Food: The food is just ok. The variety is similar to other buffets in town. They could and should do better with the quality.

Yelp
Easter brunch at the GSR buffet was a great choice yesterday. They offered my favorite seafood: crab legs and a poke bowl station. I love buffets for the simple fact that everyone in a large group will find something they want to eat. I hadn't been here at this buffet for a few years. We had an attentive server and was pleased with the selection from the meats, to the pho and omlette station. We finished strong with some sweets and coffee and of course photos with the Easter bunny. They did offer a bottomless mimosa, but I'm drinking my OJ dry these days. Lol It's always a great time here. My family has fond memories over the years and plan to share more here in the near future. Thank you all for a great day and time.

Yelp
Well, my family and I didn't even eat here. We walked in on Sunday night to have dinner before the Killer Queen concert. The young lady at the cash register was extremely rude, and was irritated that we walked in. We were willing to drop $150 bucks for dinner for three people, but felt our money wasn't good enough for them. We walked out and went to Cafe instead. Great service there.

Yelp
Want to start by saying that I appreciate a buffet in this beautiful Hotel Resort, we were excited to try for the first time. Mother's Day weekend was very full, and the line was pretty long we waited about 20 minutes in line to get to the front, and less than 10 minutes to get seated. With all the people the room felt a little crowded, like there is not alot of space, it was very loud from all the people there. Not a calm ambiance. Service was just okay, very sweet girl in the register. FOOD: many different selections of food, I appreciate that. The only issue is that 2/3 options are very underwhelming. I enjoyed the Italian section the most, with the pastas and pizza. I also enjoyed the chicken and BBQ wings on my plate, with a side of mashed potatoes and very sweet corn. The Asian section was pretty bad, and I love Chinese food, there was no Chow main, no Orange chicken, no potstickers. Fried rice was poorly made. The Mexican section was pretty bad, my bf got 3 tacos and he didn't enjoy, he said they were dry and underwhelming and we are Mexican. Dessert has a rating of its own 5 out of 5. No complaints in that department, a lot of great options, the chocolate fudge cake was the highlight of dessert for me. Overall, this buffet is mid, overpriced for sure, not worth the price. I would come back if price wasn't $45 per person. Should be $25 to be honest . My partner said 2 stars, I said 3 because it just needs food quality improvement. If they served sushi this buffet would easily move up in ranking, no sushi.

Yelp
I am a VIP and I was there to celebrate my birthday with my 3 kids on 5/17. I told the hosted Lily and the stumpy white girl we have other people that wanted to join us that was paying separately and sitting separately. Total people including myself 8 people. I asked Lily of she can seat us near each other in the same area. She said No because of gratuity! and where I was seated first with my kids had 3 small open booth seated back to back. & I asked her to seat them next to us. She said No I already told you! Then my friend caught her laughing at me as I was walking away. & my friend was next to be seated after me. So B**** purposely sat all 3 parties far away from each other and in different area. When someone was seating my niece and her boyfriend, my niece said she told the other host in her ears not to seat her near us! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I actually wanted to have the kids sit at their own table which would be 5 teens total and 3 adults at our own table. That would've still worked out for gratuity reason. I don't think she should be working as a host if she's is going to be rude and unprofessional. I will NOT return to the buffet ever again because of this girl! Also your candies was very old and stale and the cupcakes was dry

Yelp
2/24/2024 We came expecting "all you can eat lobster buffet" like every other casino I've been to. Instead, it was one per customer the entire visit. I am very disappointed. We waited over 3 hours to be seated. Once inside the buffet, there were plenty of empty tables and seats. I dont understand about the long wait. If you're expecting all you can eat lobster buffet, you'll be disappointed.

Yelp
Honestly had better around town. Definitely not worth the price and they do not give all the locals discount just one person per group/player card. Now as for the food it was not that great. Like I mentioned before there are better options around town that have more variety as well as better taste. Staff was okay but could been better.

Yelp
On an evening when the buffet restaurant was hosting a lobster dinner, the wait into the restaurant was atrocious! I honestly thought all tables were occupied, but they were not! Each guest were limited to have only one lobster tail. There were snow crab legs but shouldn't they be served warm with the melted butter on the side? All the remaining buffet zones were well covered with options. The rate was too expensive despite the quality of the food and the atrocious wait time.

Yelp
First let me say the food is good. But.... Beware. Before you pay, know that there is a 90 minute time limit. This includes standing in line waiting for your food, choosing items, chewing, swallowing and walking around. I go out to dinner to enjoy my food and time with family and friends. Our time at the table is usually up to 2 hours. Since I realized I'm taking up a table I usually tip very generously. This time we were 30 minutes over our time limit, but getting ready to leave. The waiter came over, looked at our receipt and told us our time was up. He then went and "tattled" to the manager who came over and told us to leave. Our biggest complaint is that the time limit is stated on our receipt AFTER you pay. No where is it posted regarding the time limit before you pay, giving the option of going in or not. We filed a complaint regarding the policy and never heard a thing. Customer Service doesn't exist at GSR. I won't be back

Yelp
#1 buffet in Reno Tahoe hands down. I am extremely impressed with the quality of food and service. The food was absolutely delicious and meticulously prepared. I had to leave a review to express our gratitude. Thank you for a pleasant experience and for making my wife's choice for her birthday dinner a great memory.

Yelp
Really only had the crab legs to get the most bang for my buck. Only thing I didn't like was that the melted butter wasn't next to the crab legs and it was hidden away but that's about it. Staff was really nice and attentive

Yelp
Awful food, had to spit some out and felt mildly sick after. Restaurant is a bit dirty. Two stars for friendly staff and quick seating.

Yelp
Make sure you tip your waiter/waitress personally because the hostess at night will go out her way to micromanage and ensure you have a bad experience if she doesn't get her gratuity.

Yelp
The staff was very friendly and accommodating except for the skinny tall blonde hostess who was a bitch from the start just being passive aggressive for no reason. I came to celebrate a birthday and we just wanted to be seated nearby each other with the tables available we did not care to be seated at the same table since we were paying separately and already in our own small groups separated as couples and mom and kids just wanted to be in the same area which she was aware of but she purposely separated us and said "no I will not put you guys at that booth" after she heard my aunt tell me to request a table near them. I asked our server if we could be moved but when he tried accommodating us as well as another waitress she quickly walked by and said no then they suddenly changed their minds about moving us. We made it work and moved tables anyway ourselves with the booths we already had. Pretty sure she complained to the manager saying we were trying to cause problems since he came to ask us about it but he handled it well and let us continue after we explained the situation to him. It just felt like we were being targeted for no reason by her even if she was having a shitty day or hates her job that's not the way to go about it, wouldn't be surprised if she's the type to spit in food or drinks. I've worked food service before so I get trying to have your coworkers back but we didn't do dog shit to deserve that and the servers just immediately going with her bs didn't make it any better but the rest of the staff didn't treat us any differently which I'm thankful for. We are being served drinks only and having plates collected in a packed buffet its really not a fuss to accommodate that seating when there are tables available to make it work. My family and I visit from out of town pretty often and never dealt with such bs how miserable do you have to be to act like that

Yelp
Very disappointed with all the food here. Flavor was not good and just about every desert was a no bake desert. Nasty. No bake banana cream pie. Yuck Oysters were washed with no flavor. Mussels no flavor. Everything was really bland.

Yelp
I am rating this buffet 4 star because it is probably the best value in this casino and area. The waiters are extremely efficient and courteous. Don't come here expecting Vegas style buffet as this is not Vegas pricing and quality. The overall size of this buffet it's much smaller than all the Vegas ones but of course don't forget where you are, Reno not Vegas! So the cost was about $48 for adults and $28 for kids. There are quite enough stations, there's a salad bar, Mongolian BBQ, Taco Nachos Bar, Carving station with perfectly cooked prime rib, ribs, briskets and yummy side dishes, Asian station with custom made pho or noodle soup, dessert bar, and seafood snow crabs and Fresh Oyster Bar. You can get your Crabs and Oysters grilled at the Mongolian station with seasonings and it will taste 50x better! For the quality of food we got and great service received it was worth the time and money. It is worth stopping in if you have no idea what to eat and don't want to leave this beautiful Casino. Hi

Yelp
The food isn't very good. It's on par with a Golden Corral, which makes the price absurd.

Yelp
Unlimited New York Strips and Filet Mignon for $49 per person. Service was good. Ambiance is on par with any other casino-based buffet.

Yelp
How quickly they can respond but cannot reach out like they said. Must be an auto response

Yelp
Came on a Saturday morning...food was old and depressingly sparse. The quality was lousy, worse than golden corral. For $33 , it's overpriced. Don't bother unless you're desperate.

Yelp
Diverse selection of food, and Carly was a friendly waiter. However I was profoundly insulted by how rude Maria was at the front desks. I asked if I my family count sit near the vicinity of friends who were also there and she emotionally reacted demanding if we sit at the same table she needs to charge me 18%. I said we didn't need the same table just nearby and I didn't want my elderly company who were 78 and 80 to have to walk far and Maria insisted we wanted same table. I said it can be in same arena doesn't need same table and then she takes the 80 yr old and forced her to sit at the opposite far end of restaurant after all we did was ask to sit within same area. Her treatment was so rude and disrespectful I will not return to experience her rudeness. How does one send an elderly person way far away on purpose? We didn't demand same table and Maria doesn't understand English clearly. She also does not demonstrate respect and discriminates.

Yelp
It was $70 for two people for brunch. It was the worst cafeteria food. Nothing tasted good. Save yourself and go to another diner
