"On Friday, November 1, former President Donald Trump visited voters at a popular Dearborn brunch eatery. The visit came amid heightened attention in Dearborn — home to the largest Arab American community in the United States — after more than 100,000 Arab Americans voted uncommitted in the August primary in light of President Joe Biden’s support of Israel amid ongoing violence in Gaza and Lebanon. According to the BBC, Trump secured endorsements from the mayors of both Dearborn Heights and Hamtramck. Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud blasted the former president, saying, "The architect of the Muslim Ban is making a campaign stop in Dearborn. People in this community know what Trump stands for — we suffered through it for years.
