Not one of the best experiences I've had.
Maybe it was just poor timing, but as I walked in, there were 2 staff in the front area and at least 3 in the kitchen area.
One male staff member walked to the back as I approached the register.
The remaining female staff member greeted me and took my order.
I proceeded to order and specifically asked for no cheese on my salad.
Then, I can see that the kitchen very quickly finished my order. I thought I was about to be on my way.
But as I waited, the lady staff received a call from a customer that tied her up for a very long time.
Orders were piling up behind her from the kitchen, and a line started to grow at the register.
The kitchen staff could see and was very aware of the poor girl up front now being slammed, unable to help guests because she's stuck on a call with a customer. But no one from the kitchen came to support.
Finally, after what felt like 10-15 mins, the lady hangs up, and proceeds to take more orders.
Aye yi yi!
My food still sits there.
Once she finished up the guest, she finally grabs my order.
Lo and behold, now the guy that walked away earlier finally shows up to help. *sighs*
To boot, my salad had cheese on it even after requesting for no cheese.
The place had a uniquely unpleasant smell as well. My son said 'why does it smell weird in here?"
I think it was either a dirty mop smell, or some chemical they used to clean was just too much.
Like I said, maybe bad timing. Maybe the guy was on break. Maybe the kitchen staff don't know how to come up and help the front.
But ultimately, from the smell, the service, and the mistake with my food.... Not a great experience for this customer.
