The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill

We had a really good experience at The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill on Sunset. I went with the steak tenderloin souvlaki, which came with a Greek salad, pita, and a side. I chose the feta fries, and I would 100% order the exact same thing again. The tenderloin was incredibly tender and clearly high‑quality meat, and you get two full skewers, so it’s plenty of food. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. You order at the counter, and they bring everything out to you — including napkins and silverware — which makes the experience feel a bit more elevated than a typical fast‑casual spot. My husband ordered the Great Greek Gyro combo with fries and a drink. Not his favorite gyro but he would go again. The only downside was the drink situation. The soda machine wasn't working properly (it seemed like it needed more syrup), and we didn't see any tea options available. Next time we'd probably just stick with water. Overall, though, the food and service were excellent, and we’ll definitely be back. Conveniently located across the street from Ikea.

The first time I had a gyro was in Crete , Greece and of course no one has come close to those , the real thing. I went there when I was in the Army in the late 80's. We all ate at this one small place in Chania almost everyday because they were so good and cheap , with fries and the little bottles of Coke. I've been to so many Greek and Mediterranean restaurants over the years and most haven't impressed me , but there have been a few that have. This place is clean and modern and the service was really good. The lady that I talked with was very nice and informative. I did tell her about a kabob place by me that is excellent , but more expensive and more formal , but does have take out. I got the Lamb Gyro with Fries and a Soda. I dined in to enjoy it hot and get more of a feel of the place. Several people came in with either a to go order already placed or to make one. There were also a few people dining in. I got the Lamb to be more traditional than the thin slice American version that everyone sells. It was not bad , but not much seasoning. The Tzatziki was also missing something and not very thick , kind of thin. Pita was very good. The Fries were fresh and thick , but I've had better at other places. I would have liked to try the Chicken Kabob , but I've since moved and won't be able to come back in to try. I've got a feeling it wouldn't be seasoned very well either unfortunately. A lot of people really like this place and I hope it continues to make people happy especially the way things are going these days. I would recommend for most people , but not for the traditionalist. Clean , good service , decent prices , and good selection of items. I just personally have a couple places I would go to before going back here.

I was really glad they opened a location in the Southwest area! The salads here are amazing! That's coming from someone who's not a huge fan of vegetables. I usually get the grilled chicken souvlaki plate, which comes with a side of salad and pita so I get the best of everything. Service has always been really good as well with friendly staff. Plenty of seating too!

I ordered the Tzatziki Plate for $19.95, and the pricing alone was already unreasonable for what I received. The entire plate was bland and flavorless — the rice, the steak tenderloin, everything. When I asked about seed oils, I was told that anything fried (fries and potatoes) is cooked in canola oil, and that they “use olive oil for everything else,” including the meats. That claim didn’t inspire confidence, and the staff didn’t seem well-informed about their ingredients at all. I’m hoping they aren’t using vegetable or other inflammatory oils in the rice, but based on the responses, I honestly doubt they know. This was a to-go order, and I still waited over 20 minutes. The white female employee working around 12:00–12:15 PM was not friendly or warm. When I asked for extra lemon (because none was visible in my bag), she insisted it was already included. I asked for more, and she responded with “usually it’s extra,” which came off as cheap and unnecessary considering I had just spent over $30 for a small soup and a steak plate. The steak was not medium-well like I ordered; it was raw and red inside. They corrected it, but I had to wait another 10–15 minutes. By then, I had already mixed the onions from my salad onto the bowl, and when they remade the whole plate, I didn’t bother asking for the extra onions again. It was a complete waste of time. The food was bland, overpriced, and underwhelming. The atmosphere was chaotic, the service was unimpressive, and the portions were small — especially the rice and the tiny amount of tzatziki included. I won’t be returning.

4.7. Food was good, lamb was tough but still tasty. But seriously GET THE LEMON POTATOES they were so good. The young girl at counter(shave slash in brow)was super sweet and very helpful. Will be back again.

I felt compelled to write a review because I was so impressed. It was our first time trying The Great Greek, and when we told the cashier, Casey, she was amazing! She took the time to explain her favorite items and the most popular orders and never made us feel rushed while deciding. We truly appreciated her help. When we left, my husband even said the service was so good that we wouldn’t have cared if the food was just okay, we would’ve come back regardless. But the food was just as great as the service! We ordered carryout, brought it home, and it was still hot. We recommend the steak skewer & also the hummus! Yum!! We will definitely be back and are already excited for our next visit!

We love The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill! The food, ambiance, and customer service are superb! Above and beyond! The food is fresh and so delicious! There are a variety to choose from yet not overwhelming. Their menu is easy on the eyes and simply efficient. The restaurant and restrooms are clean. We love the decor (even the little details like the counter for condiments). The staff are so friendly and generous and welcoming and genuinely caring. Delish Greek food for a reasonable price. Both gyros plate and beef souvlaki were flavorful. Big portions! The staff are super friendly and helpful. Don’t leave without trying the baklava ice cream.

There are several The Great Greek here in town. The food is consistent and fresh. What made this location different was the service. The order taker was efficient and attentive but the manager who was expediting orders was amazing. She was showing some real hustle at lunchtime. It was clear she wanted to get people their food and for them to be pleased. It was something to see! The restaurant is clean and fairly new so nothing to complain about with the space. If want a healthy fast lunch, this location does not disappoint. They get 5 stars for the service alone!

Came here for a quick bite and left really impressed. My gyro was absolutely perfect, the tzatziki was impeccable and my side of lemon potatoes were covered in a delicious salty lemon butter drizzle. Not to mention the service was nice and fast!

Didn't realize until our family stepped in and ordered that I had been to a Yelp event in Houston at the Great Greek Mediterranean. Perfect place to stop for a not so quick lunch in Las Vegas. Started with a classic Greek salad which was part of the Great Greek Gyro platter. The salad was so fresh with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, romaine lettuce and feta cheese with a homemade Greek vinaigrette. The Great Greek Gyro platter came with a generous serving of beef and lamb gyro meat, pita bread, tzatziki sauce and a side of rice, fries or potatoes. When in "Greece" it's the lemon potatoes for me. So good. Servings size was so generous. Could have split a plate with my sister-in-law. My husband got the Great Greek Gyro combo with feta fries and a refillable drink. He enjoyed his gyro. The feta fries were covered with a deep layer of feta. Get the cucumber mint lemonade! My husband got several refills as we waited for our meal. Parking was easy, but service was quite slow. Surprisingly slow considering how empty the restaurant was midday. Still a nice place to eat a late lunch as long as you have the time to wait.

Love Greek food, and wanted to give this place a try. Had a Yelp event at nearby Freed's so we popped in for some dips and accoutrements. Everything was delicious, got the hummus, tzatziki and melitzanosalata as well as some spinach pies and dolmades. Everything was fresh and super tasty. Nice inside, probably come back and eat there next time People were super nice, I had ordered a Sadie of pita and they asked if that was right cause everything comes with bread. Appreciate the looking out! I did want all the bread though, and we ate it all Was delicious and will definitely be back

We are fans of this Greek chain. This location is very new and looks really great. Fast casual concept with great food. The gyro was flavorful, the lemon potatoes were the best, and the lemon rice and chicken soup is one of my favorites. We enjoyed checking out everything in this new plaza and will be back for more great Greek food.

Absolutely LOVE The Great Greek! I was so happy to see they finally opened a location on this side of town. Absolutely incredible! This Mediterranean restaurant is a gem--there's truly no bad option on the menu. Every dish bursts with flavor, and the ingredients are always fresh and vibrant. You can tell there's real care in the preparation, from the perfectly seasoned meats to the crisp salads and house-made dips. Whether you're trying something new or sticking with your favorite, you're guaranteed a delicious, satisfying meal every time. The staff is also incredibly helpful and friendly. We always feel welcomed and it's so nice to get great customer service nowadays. The restaurant is quite big and even offers outdoor seating. It gives me modern boho vibes. Highly recommended!

Sunshine on A Plate... walking in This place is Awesome... staff is smiling, service is great and price's are good! Very Helpful and friendly at the counter decided to eat in... Salad came First... got the steak skewers with rice and grilled bread... white sauce went well with the dish. Staff periodically checked if i was doing okay. Ambiance was warm and welcoming inside and sunny outside ... They Have outdoor seating but i Like the A/C way better than the Heat... Thank you! Very Solid Lunch Spot! Will be back soon.

This is a good spot for a quick lunch. The food was very good, I find with the other great Greek locations it tasted similar which is good! I really appreciate the consistency between locations. The produce was fresh, the shrimp was cooked to perfection. Just very good execution. They had a special item on the menu and I regret getting it because the burger looked so good! The service was wonderful, I really appreciate seeing how hard the staff works and how accommodating they are as well. Inside is very clean, bright, and family Friendly. There's tons of light and it's a great place to grab a quick lunch.

I want to start off by saying that I love the Great Greek. Their food comes in good size portions for the money and provides a variety of options. I got the Gyro plate which comes with gyro meat, salad (packed separately, which I love) pita and tzatziki. The flavor of everything was great but as I ordered ahead, it felt like it sat for a considerable amount of time allowing it to get cold while I arrived within the time ready window. The feta fries weren't all cooked completely. The baklava was great but impossible to cut through when I tried to eat it. The store was clean and bright. I feel like I want to return to try it in the restaurant to see if anything is different.

The service is amazing! Very friendly and clean! The food is amazing as well! The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection! I will say the falafel was a bit too lemony for me but still top quality! 10/10!

The staff here are spot on nice and bubbly I almost forgot what I ordered. Oh yeah, I got the great Greek rice bowl (no onions) with an added chicken skewer. Was fresh (they make it all to order) and guilt free! The insides are spacious and clean, and even though the food was made to order it came out speedy fast. I absolutely love the dressing they put on the salad, and the light vinaigrette and citrus notes are spot on. The rice and feta are perfect on it and it all blends really well. The only thing I would say is be careful as most of the Kalamata olives are de-pit but I did bite into one that had a pit. I was cautious at first but after the first 3 pit-less olives I thought they were all free of seeds and then I happened to bite into a surprise. With out the added chicken skewer if you're looking for a cheaper reasonably priced meal it's only $11 bucks, but I like having the extra protein after the gym. And the best part is they're open later until 9pm, definitely worth a stop by if you've never been. The chicken skewer is okay, tiny bit dry but no matter how many times I cook it, I can't get chicken breast from being dry myself, I wouldn't hold it against anyone ever. The only other down side was finding a small piece of onion in the no onion plate, but it was an accident and can easily fall in when grabbing lettuce or other ingredient. For those with allergies just be extra cautious I would say.

AMAZING!!! This is just like the other 7 locations in the valley but with that new restaurant smell Ns feel! ( love it) - newer, nicer and bigger!! This place is right off the 215 curve and super easy to get to. Parking is wide open and not difficult to get in and out of. The food lobby is clean as a whistle, food is fresh with deep delicious Mediterranean flavor with a customizable menu. I ordered the great Greek gryo meal with extra tzatki, and with a tortilla wrap instead of the gyro. The staff was more than happy to accommodate me! - Love that the menu is customizable with no extra charges! While I was waiting for my food, the staff greatest repeat customers by name (wow) and with a warm and welcoming smile! Note: Little interesting fact, the business compelx is owned by a local ownebusiness and all of the art hand painted by local artist @BrackenHermansenArt Outstanding Job Team!!! I will be back next week!!!

Nice and clean. Great service. Came for a coworker's birthday lunch. So, we had a big order. We received our food pretty quickly even seeing they had multiple to go orders. I ordered the Grilled Steak Souvlaki. @ tenderloin steak skewers that were cooked over medium. Great meat quality, cooked perfectly, nice and tender with just the right amount of seasoning. I had the lemon potatoes. This was very interesting as I would never think of have lemons and potatoes. It had a nice tang with really good seasonings. The meal came with a small salad with very fresh ingredients. Shredded lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, kalamata olives, cucumbers, and crumbled feta. The homemade Greek vinaigrette really made all the flavors come together. But watch out the, the olives are not pitted. I really enjoyed the pita bread and was even better dipped in their tzatziki sauce. Per my coworker's the dolmades were very good. You have to get the Baklava Ice cream. I love Baklava. But it can be too sweet for me. But when you get it in the ice cream, all the flavors balance out and make it even taste better. We will definitely be back. This place was Fabulous!!!

Ordered take out and it was ready at time of pickup! I got a rice bowl with an added chicken skewer and an order of melitzanosalata (sp?). Both were very tasty and fresh. I really enjoyed my dinner and will definitely come back.

5 Authentic to me Greek Food & Amazing Service! This place is a gem! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home -- super friendly, genuine, and just really welcoming. You can tell they actually care about your experience, which is rare these days. We ordered the chicken souvlaki and wow -- it was SO good. Moist, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Plus, the portions were super generous (definitely come hungry!). We also tried the steak cooked medium, and it came out exactly right -- tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The first to arrive to the table was the green salad!it was fresh and came with their special dressing that I could seriously bottle up and take home. And the tzatziki? Creamy, garlicky, strips of cucumber and super refreshing. It paired perfectly with everything. Honestly, everything was delicious and the whole vibe of the place just made for a really great night. Can't wait to come back again and again! PS They bus the table for you so, be sure to leave them a tip!

Really clean and we received fantastic service from an older gentleman. He explained the menu and made great suggestions. Everything was fresh and tasted good. No errors made on our orders with slight modifications. It's not the best we've had but it was solid. I'd come just to get the baklava ice cream if I wasn't hungry. It's 3 scoops and a good price. The food portions are large and shareable or you can take the leftovers home.

First time and very good! I mobile ordered and it was ready on arrival. Very clean and modern. The manager ( I'm assuming) was there and was very friendly and welcoming. Will def be back many times. We love the food here, but my order was wrong. I asked for the hot rice and salad in the rice bowl to be packaged separately. When I got home and we were ready to eat, I found that everything was together. The salad is limp and soggy, and it is impossible to separate them to heat the rice. This is a big disappointment after spending $40.

For a quick healthy takeout meal, this food meets expectations. I am new to Vegas and have found it challenging to find healthy takeout. I have already been back a few times for a Greek salad, hummus, tzatziki, melitzanosalata, and spanakopita. Nothing fancy, and not the best Greek food I've ever had but it definitely satisfy's my craving for a healthy Greek bite.

Food: 5/5 I ordered the 2 meat Souvlaki Mix Plate. Which is supposed to be a secret menu, because it's not on the actual menu. It was delicious. It had 2 meat, salad, and rice. I could sub these sides for other side options. Service: 4/5 The delivered my food within 10-15 mins. But they forgot the salad, I had to ask for it. It's suppose to come with the salad for the Souvlaki Mix Plate (at least I picked it). They brought it out later. Atmosphere: 5/5 The place is beautifully decorated. It was easy to talk (not too loud). Casual and pleasant.

This could be considered a vegetarian-friendly eatery. However, none of the main courses are vegan as is. Instead, you could order the Falafel Pita with no tzatziki, or the Greek Salad wrap with no tzatziki or feta. Another option would be the Mezze Plate with no feta. The falafel pita was good, though I usually don't get falafel because it's deep-fried. Rice pilaf was good but noticeably high in sodium. Again, not a vegan-friendly place, so it wouldn't be my first choice. I ate here with a group of friends who chose the place.

The Great Greek gyro wasn't so great! Very light on meat, very heavy on tzatziki sauce. Owners need a trip to Chicago to learn how to make a proper gyro.

We were so excited when this location opened at The Bend because the other fast-casual Greek spots in the area just don't compare. Since opening a month ago, we've been here over a handful of times, and it's been consistently delicious, with everything perfectly cooked every time. Our go-to order is the Grilled Chicken or Steak Tenderloin Souvlaki with rice pilaf, fries, and baklava, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The team here is fantastic! The GM (Casey) and the staff are always great. It's in a super convenient location with a fresh, welcoming vibe. So happy to have this as our new go-to spot!

I enjoy Mediterranean cuisine because you usually have to wait for a freshly cooked plate and it's usually more pricey, but I can bet on having a delicious and satisfying meal which makes me happy to spend my money. This place did not disappoint. It was delicious, quick, clean, and I cannot believe how reasonable the prices were! Got a steak plate combo, chicken gyro combo, kids pizza combo, and spanakopita for $56 AND portion sizes were great! I will be back for sure, cannot wait to try rest of the menu. Met up with family and got great review on the lemon chicken soup and shrimp rice bowl. Staff were friendly too! Dining area was a little tight but it's a fast casual restaurant so it was appropriate. Definitely recommend, I know you'll be leaving here with a happy belly and happy wallet.

In the lea of a picturesque ridge lies a small, unpretentious Greek restaurant, one that pampers its patrons like its own babies. If you like Greek food as much as I do, then you'll appreciate the craftsmanship and quality of a local Greek restaurant who brings the Mediterranean goodness to their Melitzano salata and the dazzling fresh orange marmalade to their flakey baklava. Come taste the difference good garbanzo can make in your hummus. You'll remember the experience, and you'll remember the name: the greak Greek- ger. Bingo ling greeker. The great greek.

Ordered inside for take out, great location and lots of seats. Not busy and ordered 2 entrees beef souvlaki and chicken gyro and side of falafel. Cashier was nice, but not attentive. I stepped outside and when i came back my order was ready. When i got home i saw she only gave me half my order. Pretty annoyed and then had to call them. Then she said manager was on break so call back again in 30 minutes for a refund. The beef souvlaki was really good 9/10, the falafel was terrible 1/10. Make sure you check your to go order before you leave

The Great Grill has a wonderful crew. They gave happy service, food is freshly made, my shrimp souvlaki and my husband's steak souvlaki (he truly enjoyed) were amazing! They hand make their own fresh babaganush....the Very Best I have ever had!! Also, the servers gave us multiple food samples. It was a terrific dining experience!! Look for closest locations. Go eat there!

I don't even know how it's possible that the girl in the front with blue hair messes up my order every single time. I ordered a pick up with her a chicken and steak plate with rice I arrive and she gave me a box of friend bananas with a salad with nothing on it? A time after that I again order the chicken and steak plate she gives me just steak no chicken. I'm not sure if she doesn't pay attention or what but it gets to a point that this is ridiculous you're not a 12 year old

This new location is super convenient, right off the freeway! We love this restaurant, and when we are looking to eat healthy and delicious this is our Go-To! They have excellent service, the staff was friendly and checked in with us to be sure we had everything we needed. I'll say it again, delicious food! We absolutely love the look and decor of the restaurant, it is so clean and inviting!

This is a new location on Sunset Road in the southwest. I ordered the chicken souvlaki with rice that also came with salad and it was delicious. I would definitely give it an 8/10. The small salad on the side with salad dressing is very good. That salad alone gets a 9/10. My spouse ordered their lamb souvlaki, and they were very excited to see Australian lamb souvlaki. Their only comment was that the pieces of lamb were a little bit chewy, but they were still good. 8/10. We did order the starter with the Tzatziki, eggplant, salad, hummus, and another side that is made with cheese. It came with pita. With the exception of the side made with cheese, which we thought was just OK, the sides were fantastic and everyone pretty much ate up all the three sides with the exception of the one with cheese, and I don't know the name of that one. All of the sides were 10/10, and the cheese one was only about 6/10 for us. Prices are reasonable, and we would definitely go back. Lots of places to eat inside and very clean and very friendly. A very relaxed environment, which we really liked as well.

I love this new location. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food is so good, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is inviting. A fantastic dining experience all around!
