The Greatest of the Plates

I recently visited The Greatest of the Plates and had a mixed experience. The shrimp and lobster were delicious, but the salmon bites didn't quite hit the mark for me. However, the seafood egg roll was a standout dish. The seating was a bit limited, but the ambiance was fantastic, with great music and vibes throughout. I particularly enjoyed the well-seasoned and crispy chicken tender. My husband tried the Big Wet Burger Box and enjoyed the chicken egg roll, wings, and said the burger was decent. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with some highlights and room for improvement.

I found this place just Googling restaurants in Atlanta while riding through after a long weekend in LaGrange. The customer service was top notch, however the food did not really satisfy us and it was way too expensive to be so mid! The restaurant can use a little bit of cleaning as well. I had the seafood paradise for $40 and nothing was paradise about it LOL, it was super bland. My kids had chicken tenders that neither really ate because it was dry and did not come with fries.My bf had the pasta box and the pasta was really good. The lemonade was probably the best thing about the visit.

If you haven’t tried this spot yet you missing out. Food was great and the customer service was unmatched, which made me feel like more than a customer. The owner is very personable and makes sure the customers enjoyed their food. That strawberry lemonade omg 🔥🔥🔥. I drove from Henry County specifically for the conch, and it was worth the drive. The fried conch (islanders refer to it as cracked conch), the conch fritters, and conch salad was exactly what I need. Not to mention the sauce that goes along with it. A must try!!! I definitely give it a 10/10. Don’t forget to try the dessert. The banana pudding Red velvet dessert was 🔥🔥

Ate there for the first time today and what can I say, they 100% live up to there name. One of the greatest if not the best plates I’ve ever ate. Everything was super well seasoned with sauce EVERYWHERE I could not stop licking my fingers. The plates are full with not much but NOT too little food either they are perfect to fill u up. Recommend anyone to please go try this out in atl.

We found this spot through Instagram. The food did not disappoint. I ordered the seafood egg rolls, salmon bites, macaroni and cheese, and the green apple lemonade ($49 total). Everything was delicious! My daughter tried the Little Wet Burger box. It comes with a burger, wings, and fries. I sampled the wings, and they were on point! We dubbed in. The restaurant was nice and clean and I enjoyed the music they were playing, as well. I highly recommend Greatest Plates!

The whole experience was amazing. I went with some friends for a conference. We all got our food within 10-20 minutes of ordering. The food tasted absolutely amazing. I got the Lil Wet Burger Box with a honey mustard drizzle. It was good and the seating area and restroom were clean.

It was recommended by a couple of people so we had to try it! It was walking distance from our hotel which was nice but the air was out and that sucked because we wanted to eat there. The food was a little pricey BUT then again it's downtown so maybe that's to be expected. I was disappointed with the mac & cheese & my $10 shake which just tasted like a cup of ice cream, but everything else was pretty good! Overall it was still a good experience and we'd try it again when the air is working.

ONLY REASON you guys are getting 3 stars overall because my last two times ordering I was not satisfied with the customer service or taste. Last night I ordered for the 3rd time I ordered seafood eggrolls and fries. You guys turned away my third driver after telling him that the food wasn’t ready. He stayed an EXTRA 30 minutes for my food just for you guys to tell him somebody already took my order which why would I have had 3 drivers come to your store to get my order if initially it wasn’t even ready to begin with? By the time the fourth driver got there I’m assuming Uber contacted you all or you seen my back to back missed calls but luckily I was able to get my food remade and delivered by the 4th driver. Then when I finally get my order I was highly disappointed to have took a bite out of my eggroll to only find out it’s dry chicken with sauce on top to help (which it didn’t). Now the 2nd time I came I decided to give these eggrolls a try and immediately regretted it. I was so disappointed in my meal last night and only ate it because I was that hungry. I really was looking forward to the seafood eggroll that I had when I first ordered from you guys. The little burger box has always been very tasty when it comes to the flavors between the burger and wings. I hope you guys decide to have 2 people working up front soon so one can strictly focus on Togo orders and someone can focus on walk-in orders which was the big issue when I came the first 2 times. The atmosphere is there definitely see the vision but you need better trained service employees who can better handle high volume orders and can make sure orders are getting sent out in a decent time I know this isn’t always possible but with the right staffing anything is possible. I hope to return soon and pick up in person because delivery will not be an option anymore. The picture below are when I first tried you guys and my order from last night and I think we all can agree one looks more appealing than the other.

Food was amazing! Service was great! Ambiance was jumping! Good vibes, music playing and in the heart of Atlanta. Overall it was a great time! The host was full of energy and enthusiasm and recommended some really great plates as you can see from the photos. Definitely looking forward to coming back to the greatest of plates! So much different opinions so hard to choose!

Ok so my expectations were high because there was a long line. We waited in line to order for 30 minutes and she told us the food would take another 30 minutes to come out. I ordered a wet box which is a burger, wings and a chicken egg roll covered in your sauce of choice. I very hungry by the time the food came out so I took a huge bite of my chicken egg roll only to taste Shrimp and I'm allergic to shellfish. The fries seemed like they would have been good if they were not cold. The wings were too heavily breaded for my taste and the burger was dry but still very pink in the middle. I threw most of it in the garbage! The star is for the green apple lemonade, it was delicious. OH and I can't forget this one. They were out of napkins

A recommendation from a friend got me to this establishment, when I walked inside not much to look at has plenty of space for dining in and was pleasantly surprised when I saw a bar present that's always a plus! I went to make my order and asked about any of the specials I got lucky they had a few going on, cashier was knowledgeable and gave me some suggestions. I ended up going with the "lil wet box" definitely good value for what you get in food and it was really good too. I came back another day and got a few more things on the menu and I was not disappointed, the food gets cooked on the spot so its fresh and worth the wait.

The food here is probably the greatest seasoned and flavored food I've had in the area. The proportions of the food is large, so even though it's a bit pricey, the value is great. The service is slower than similarly compared places (I waited 30 minutes for one meal/order). This place is spacious as it has a number of seats for dine-in.

Service was great. Lamario was very attentive with a great understanding of the menu. It was extremely hot inside the building. We went today (In June) and it was colder outside than inside . Shrimp was great with a wide variety of sauces. However, the wings were lukewarm at best with the same spectacular sauces. I would go back specifically for the shrimp but only if they have AC.

TERRIBLE service OD expensive BASIc good. The guy taking our order was unbelievably rude. He kept walking away to talk to and hug (I'm guessing) his girlfriend who also had a nasty attitude. All the men in the back kept leaving to go smoke. This place is so dirty it's not worth it and the food took an hour to be done.

This place is FYE. 10/10 recommend, 100% coming BACK. If you love buffalo sauce like I do, this will be the best thing you have ever eaten in your life. Big Wet Burger Box- fries, eggrolls, wings, burger

I enjoyed my food from The Greatest of the Plates. I had the lil wet box with the 24k sauce on my wings and drizzled over the rest of the plate. The sauce taste like the Carolina Gold BBQ sauce. Sweet and tangy like a honey mustard. My sister had the oceans greatest which had a fried lobster tail, salmon bites, eggroll (they were out of the seafood so they replaced it with a chicken eggroll) I tried a half and I thought it was flavorful. I had to take off points because the bathroom was filthy. I went in to wash my hands and in the first bathroom there wasn't any soap. In the other bathroom it was equally as dirty and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned all week. There was a little soap in that bathroom. I highly recommend they invest in a cleaning crew. The food is too good for the establishment to not be cleaned and presented to customers in the best way.

The buzzer system kept me informed, and after a 15-minute wait, the hot and flavorful dishes arrived. The burger, although plain, was well-seasoned, and the Nashville Hot and Honey drizzle elevated its taste. Next, the chicken egg roll with cheese was a delightful surprise, complemented by the sauce. The wings leaned more towards honey than heat, and I recommend exploring their extensive flavor options. The fries were seasoned and sauced, but if you prefer them crispy, a special request might be in order. Overall, the food was enjoyable, and I'm certain I'll return. While the Nashville Hot and Honey may not be my first choice next time, the variety of flavors ensures there's something for everyone. The Greatest of the Plates is worth a try, offering a unique and satisfying dining experience.

A little Pricey, but without a doubt some of the best wings in downtown Atlanta. Worth every penny. Their burger was well-seasoned, the sauce is sooooo addictive. No complaints about the service. This place can get pretty busy, so be prepared to wait.

The food looks amazing!!!! But honestly it is mediocre. The buffalo sauces taste like the bottled stuff out of a grocery store. Too much vinegar. Customer service could use some work. Not worth the money charged. Best thing going for them is their food presentation. I love the concept, I hope they can improve on taste and service.

Came back here to run the loaded fries back. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The chicken was dry, and didn't have the same consistency as the first time. The fries changed. Didn't have their thicker ones. Personally wasn't a fan of the Buffalo ranch. Definitely like other ranch combo better as far as sauce goes. Taste of cheese wasn't as present as the last meal, but maybe because of the Buffalo sauce. My friend got the chicken egg rolls, and felt the meat was a bit dried out. However it was pretty packed with meat, and the roll itself was very crispy on the outside. Willing to give this place another chance, because of how good it was the first time. Consistency is everything. *Update restrooms available for customers only :)

I drove a distance to try this place. The tik tok videos and Instagram alerts are always a good reminder to check something out. :) I was only upset that my food was Luke warm. If nothing else I was really hoping my egg rolls were fresh out the deep fryer but I can't get everything my way. I do think I would of loved the egg rolls more of they were hot ( didn't leave the parking lot) Now the chicken! I must say it had a great sauce and really good batter. I wasn't excited about the sauce on my shrimp but again it was a good sauce. Just wish it was on the side. I would of asked if I knew. Although it was really good food especially if it was hot. I would not make the drive again. I do like customer service to talk to someone so I can make adjustments.

I was in ATL 12 hours and was looking for something to eat near the MARTA. After a quick google search and a couple of TikToks, it seemed like from the results that this was either going to be the best or the worst choice in the area. Took the 2 block walk and decided I would figure out for myself. Looked super busy with fans from the Falcons game, and the line didn't necessarily fly. Was a bit off putting with the club level volume of music blaring over any potential conversation. (I won't let the ambiance impact this 5 star review) After a long decision, I went with the Big Wet Burger Box because I wanted to try the chicken egg rolls. Was torn on the sauce, but went with the cashiers recommendation for the 24k Great sauce. Box came out piping hot with with a couple of cups of blue cheese. When I tell you that this is the best meal I've had in recent memory, I'm not exaggerating. The $28 price tag was quickly justified after a quick taste test of the sauce drizzled fries. Wings were perfectly crispy with plenty of meat, fries were soft with a solid integrity, chicken egg roll was delicious, and not a single complaint about the burger. And the sauce.. wow Great quantity of food and unbelievable quality!

This place was nice. The workers work hard. This particular day they were short of staff so the wait for my food was lengthy. Tell you the truth my food was actually just OK. The batter on the crab legs was salty and I think that this particular dish is overpriced at $45.. the egg and the fries were delicious and there drinks are good.

So my niece has been following this page on Instagram for a while and wanting to try this place, but she lives in Gainesville and I live in Gwinnett, so today we decided to take the drive to Atlanta and check this place out and was utterly disappointed, I mean the food was ok, My niece and I ordered the chopped chicken which is basically a couple of tenders chopped up on a bed of saffron rice ( sauce of your choice) with 2 sides, basic mac and cheese and broccoli-which is what I ordered, my other niece ordered chicken egg rolls and wings, which didn't look like much either.....the place was not what we were expecting at all..... we drove 45 mins to 1 hour to pay $15 for parking to order over priced take out food basically. Lets get to the ice part!!!! So they are serving semi cold can drinks and homemade super sweet lemonade (his workers words, not mine)... Right, no fountain drinks, no alcohol, No VIBE! So, I asked for a cup of ice in which the person ringing up our order said, "I will bring it to your table" I went and found a table and took a seat and I guess it became a problem when my nieces places their orders and asked for ice as well, well no ice came out to the table even after we asked again and while heading out the door, the owner made a snappy remark to my niece when we were leaving that "you have to PAY for a cup of ice".... Well we just spent $80 at a take out place, we would have paid for the ice had we were told! So you made an already bad experience worst! Then before we could get to our $15 parking lot you go on Instagram and and make your nasty post about the ice and the sauce that your cashier forgot to ask us what we wanted. My niece seen his post right away! Great way to do business Sir! It's a million places to eat at in Atlanta, so kindness goes a long way! Needless to say.... We wont be back! BTW: The place was dirty and the owner has a nasty and sassy attitude problem!

I was filled with anticipation to experience a newly opened restaurant owned by a black entrepreneur. I had seen this restaurant on my social media years ago but couldn't visit as I wasn't in Florida at the time. Three days ago, I stumbled upon their page and was thrilled to learn that they had finally opened in Atlanta. I arrived at the restaurant at 10:40 PM and promptly placed my order at 11:00 sharp. However, I didn't receive my food until 12:23 AM. Surprisingly, other customers who arrived later were served before me. Despite understanding the challenge of finding staff, I tried to remain patient. Unfortunately, the cashier appeared annoyed and wasn't particularly friendly towards customers. I understand that we all have bad days occasionally. When I received my food, it was disappointingly cold, leaving me quite annoyed. I didn't even feel like complaining about the temperature; I simply wanted to go home. It was late at night, and I was tired. Upon reaching home, I reheated the seafood egg rolls, which turned out to be delicious. They would have been even better if they were served hot and fresh out of the grease. I genuinely want to support this black entrepreneur's success. I noticed that other customers were also complaining about the long wait times. I would be willing to give this restaurant another try once they improve their waiting times and establish a more efficient system to assist customers.

Came here from a tik tok post and being on vacation. I did see a review about their being poor customer service and I partially agree with that statement. The man at the front desk was very non-enthusiastic and he didn't really help that much. He did have a attitude and he talked super low even though the music is loud. For the price of the food, cleanliness needs to be way better. All of the tables were sticky, chairs dirty, and trash cans overfilled. The food was innovative but it was not soul changing.

First time coming to this establishment. I actually ate at the location on Forsyth in Atlanta. The atmosphere was giving good chill vibes. Everything is made to order so you do have to wait a while. The food wasn't that bad but the wings taste like they were fried frozen. This is a place that the younger crowd would like to eat and hang. Everything on the menu is just about fried so if you're looking for healthy this is not your place. I'm not leaving a good or bad review this is a review to read and go try by choice. The burgers were good but I would rather have my burger without wing sauce on it. The young lady at the register was very helpful. If your ever out by Georgia State go try it yourself

Literally the first thing I do whenever I get to Atlanta! I've only ever ordered on Uber eats, and it's amazing... I can only imagine it's so much better in person. The food is soooooo good! Yum! They got their Togo orders on point!

My friend found this place so we decided to try it. We went at midnight so this place is open late (definitely a plus). I ordered the Big Wet Burger Box for $30. It comes with 2 chicken and cheese egg rolls, 5 wings (pick your flavor), Parmesan French fries, and a cheese burger with Gouda cheese. I selected buffalo sauce for my wings and then drizzled across all the food was Nashville Honey Hot sauce. I LOVED my food. The French fries could have been fresher but overall this box is worth the money. The Nashville Honey Hot sauce drizzled on everything really made it. The woman taking my order was really nice and helpful. The restaurant itself was okay. The table and floors were sticky. Overall, I recommend this place. I'm coming back for another box!

The food was delicious. Good variety of options for both entrées, sides and desserts on the menu. Food only took about 15 minutes. It was piping hot and delicious. Highly recommended the wings chicken eggrolls, and to ask for extra wet sauce on the chicken. The green apple lemonade was amazing too.

They take a long time. The workers don't seem excited to serve nor speak clearly when interacting. There was a dirty table, they "cleaned" it and there was still crumbs and paper on the table. I can't lie the honey gold sauce was delicious, but seems to be more hype around this pace than quality experience and food. We went on a Thursday in the 5pm hour. Dj was cool. My niece stated that the strawberry shortcake banana pudding was AMAZING.

Food Fire and definitely an Atlanta Culture spot to hit when you come to visit the city.

My wife and I came for dinner and ordered a chicken sandwich and a Texas toast sandwich with broccoli instead of fries (which was an up charge of $1/side). After about 57 minutes of waiting I asked for a refund and they said the food was just about to be served. My wife's sandwich had one tiny piece of lettuce and no pickles, mine had three small pickles. They put fries in our boxes instead of the broccoli.

I ordered the egg rolls. They were delicious. It was very flavorful and stuffed full of meat. If you like egg rolls, you'll love these.

The food was decent. Would I get it again? Probably but it's not like I HAVE to have it. I'd be open to trying other things on the menu. The service was decent. It could've been better. They ran out of menu items and failed to tell us which is something I don't appreciate. For example my meal was supposed to come with broccoli; however they ran out and replaced it with asparagus instead and I didn't even know until I received my order and that's STILL something I had to find out on my own. They didn't even tell me when handing me my order and it was only after I asked why I had asparagus... that they then mentioned they didn't have any broccoli. I'm not the biggest asparagus fan but whatever I ate it and it was alright. We also ordered salmon bites and when we didn't receive them in our order they claimed they didn't ring us up for it but they did. They also gave us other peoples orders and just didn't have a lot of things available on the menu. Id appreciate it if they notified us about missing items so we could choose to replace them instead of them just replacing the item with what they thought was best. (We waited and ate inside the restaurant so I feel like that's something that could've easily been done). It seems they have kids up front as the register which is fine but at least have them up there if they know what they're doing or have an adult to accompany them to assist and standby. The ambiance . I think if I do go back, I'd only do takeout as an option. It is a new place to try and visit so I'd say maybe just give it a go...maybe you'll have a better experience than my family and I did. There's parking nearby with an attendant to watch the lot just past the restaurant on the corner fyi. So that was helpful so we didn't have too walk far.

The service is great and the food is bomb. Every time I go I get a great experience. They have have daily deals that you will love.

I can not recommend this place enough. I came here with my boyfriend at like 10 PM cause we were hungry, the service was good, we had ordered to go, but they still made sure we were good from time to time. Although it was a bit of a wait, if you order online it won't be. The food was very filling, one plate fed both of us, we had the BBQ plate with the burgers and wings. Super good. It's got a nice vibe in it, while there they were playing Beyoncé so it was nice. Check it out!

While visiting Atlanta I stopped by for lunch but they were out of cooking oil so you could only order baked foods. I'm thinking why didn't you instacart the oil before opening. Anyway I came back later and ordered the lil wet burger box and the banana pudding cup everything just tasted ok considering the long wait time. The place was cute but the table's needed cleaning.

I'm so disappointed, I didn't want to make this review but I had been eating for months to try this place and I flew in from La. When I tell you the customer service here is sooooooo bad . The line was long so I a need the QR code thinking my order would get made faster , wrong . Turned into me waiting more than a hour. Mind you this exact day they was on Keith Lee begging for him to come , I'm thinking no way . So my order said it was done at 3:13, wasn't received until 4:05pm . I asked several times what's going with my order and "we working on it or 5 to 10 more minutes". Mind you there was a manager I'm guessing with an arm sling . The entire time He's there seeing me wait but guess what he's doing . Talking to a woman at the bar the entire time instead of checking on my order . He asked maybe 50 minutes into me waiting , mind you I'm one seat over because the woman was between us . After all this when I finally got my food , they messed up my order and never gave me my Mac n cheese . Writing this , I just know I'm never coming back and I wish they could've got exposed by Keith Lee since they was begging for his attention.

The pricing is unbelievable . And you serving the food in Togo boxes. I got some box and my friend got a box with drinks, $70 something dollars!

Was excited to try this spot out. Been following on Instagram for a while. Ordered via Postmates. Considering the wait time, the fries were still pretty good. The shrimp was fine. On the app it says you get to choose a dry rub or dipping sauce for the shrimp as if it's included with the meal but upon selecting a sauce you're charged an additional fee. I also got the Mac and cheese. Not sure why it's top rated. It had unmelted shredded cheese on top and underneath the cheese was pasty and flavorless. I got a piece of cake for $7 that was so small I could see through the slice. $31 later, I'm still hungry.

Great food. Took a while to receive ... but was definitely fresh. Nice spot to have lunch. Will definitely go back. Worth every penny.

My boyfriend and I were in Atlanta for a few days and we wanted to try this place out. I'm so glad we did! Although there is a little bit of a wait, when you order your food, it is completely worth it! It was so delicious. I enjoyed everything. We had fried Oreos, I ordered the Nashville honey hit chicken with broccoli and macaroni for the sides and it was delicious! It also came with rice under the chicken. I have no complaints. My plate was so yummy. My boyfriend ordered the big wet burger, and he tore it up! If we are ever back in Atlanta, we will definitely be returning! Highly recommend

I decided to try this place after seeing their TikTok and IG posts. Man I was not disappointed. I'd heard some bad reviews but I didn't experience that all. The food was hot and the service was great. I ordered my meal when they first opened online and it was ready at the promised time. When I arrived at the location, they called without me texting saying my order was ready. I ordered the chicken egg rolls with 24K sauce, sweet potato pound cake and green apple lemonade. The egg rolls were hot and that sauce dang!!!! The sweet potato cake was banging too. The lemonade will give you diabetes so it wasn't for me but it wasn't bad per say. I'll definitely try this again for lunch next week. Check them out.

could be better if it wasnt so pricey for what it gives you. plus my meal was overcooked, minus the fries which were undercooked. so that just brought it even lower. i hope things improve, maybe it was just an off night. lemonade was so good tho.

Food was good. Went when the little wet box was only $5. Good amt of food for the price. Problem is the light fixtures are super dusty. Like they were left from the previous restaurant dusty & the used to be white baseboards need to be painted. That aside I like it there.

A TikTok flop! In convinced they paid for the reviews! we been here 3 hours! And all of the food was extremely over cooked! They literally had their friends get in the kitchen to come help. DO BETTER! We spent so much money in here and everyone left hungry!

The food is great the chicken wings were well seasoned and the flavor while familiar came with a unique twist I was truly impressed. However the claim the to have the worlds greatest banana pudding is outrageous. The banana pudding is slightly below average. The taste is more graham cracker than banana or vanilla. The pudding is so soft and well whipped the texture is delightful however the lack of weight and the graham cracker flavor over powers the banana flavor. The banana is sliced so thin that it takes the graham crackers flavor. And to ad insult to injury they charge six dollars for what could only be considered a large spoon full of banana pudding that should be called whipped graham cracker cream and bananas

Visited with my boyfriend and was excited to try the food.... Upon arrive customer service was good and we ordered the lil wet burger and wing box, the loaded fries with chicken, two lemonades and the fried Oreos. We got the food in a timely manner, but while trying the food we were disappointed. The food is very average or mid and is not worth the price. It may look very good on Instagram but it is all hype and very average overpriced food. There were also gnats around us while we were eating. The table was very sticky. Sticky to the point where our plastic bags were stuck to the table. Overall not a very good experience.
