"This Greek food truck vending around Portland is notable for items like a seasonal soft-shell crab gyro that showcases its focus on Greek street-food flavors." - Dana Hatic

Stopped by the Greeks of peaks food truck after a day of island bike riding with my friends, we ordered one of everything to get a taste of their whole menu. The service was super quick and they were fast to accommodate food restrictions. The lamb burger is bursting with unexpected flavor with the blueberry bourbon sauce and I spent every bite thinking this was better than thanksgiving! The halomi fries are actually thick slices of fried cheese (no Potatos here) with tasty dipping sauce. The orzo and Greek salads are excellent sides to round out any meal. The island location for this food truck is located next to the American Legion and has a covered picnic area perfect for catching the best sunset in Maine.

This is the best gyro I’ve ever had and I’ve had many. The entire experience was amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly and the food is outstanding. I will come to out to Peaks Island all the time just to get this food.

We hired Greeks of Peaks to cater our wedding day, and we’re so happy that we did! Working with them was so easy from the beginning, and made the planning process way less stressful for me. The food was just amazing!! Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! The service was also fantastic. We’d highly recommend booking with them for your next event!!

The best place on Peaks to find vegan food by far. They are happy to accommodate your dietary choices, just ask. The dolmades are vegan to begin with and they can make a tofu gyro vegan by substituting the tzatziki with a salad dressing which I was overwhelmingly pleased with as a topping. Great people, great food!

Excellent food and service. Staff was so friendly, and made some solid recommendations for a bike path on the island. We loved the orzo salad and the chicken gyro!

Just ok. The lamb meat was quality but, it didn't taste Greek. Dalmatas tasted like they came from a can. Not high quality at all. Very overpriced and mediocre at best. Disappointing. Staff was less then helpful. Very disconnected.
