The Best Food and Drink at San Francisco’s Chase Center | Eater SF

"A vegan-forward outpost featuring a portobello bahn mi ($13.50), spicy potato tacos ($12), and the Future Farm Smash Burger ($13) — noted as tasting "just like a McDonald’s burger in the best kind of way"; located at Portal 56." - Paolo Bicchieri

The Green House (Bournemouth, Dorset) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Set in a chic clifftop neighborhood to the east of central Bournemouth, the Green House Hotel looks, at first glance, like a slice of old-fashioned Victoriana. But while its old-world elegance is still in evidence, it’s as modern — and as sustainable — an eco-hotel as anything in England. Its 32 rooms lack for nothing when it comes to comfort, proof that sustainability doesn’t have to mean self-denial. And the Arbor restaurant, similarly, shows that what’s good for the land is good for the palate as well. The beaches and the city-center sights are within easy walking distance, and the sights of Dorset and the New Forest are within easy reach." - Tablet Hotels

Wonderful hotel with a fabulous ethos, food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our room was spacious even though it was one of the smaller ones. Each is named after a different tree and the hotel is surrounded by mature trees which give welcome shade and keep the hotel cool even with the summer we are having this year.|Slept like a baby after swimming in the sea which is just a short walk from the hotel via a cliff path. Plenty of stops on the way up and down to admire the view. Helped by a way more comfortable bed than my own. |Top tip book on the hotel website and parking is free.

The Green House is a beautiful hotel. Everything is done with thought and great attention to detail. We came to stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The whole hotel has a calm and welcoming feel. We ate in Arbor restaurant both nights and the food was exceptional. Customer service cannot be faulted. The reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff all went out of their way to ensure we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back.

We have just spent a few days staying at The Green House in Bournemouth - what a treat! This hotel is really excellent, spacious, comfy with warm and welcoming staff members. They were kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention must go to Chef Andy - what a talented chef he is! We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant. Each dish was excellent and creatively presented. The breakfast were fabulous and the best news is that being coeliac, I was well looked after! There were even gluten-free biscuits in our room! A really nice gesture is that there are complimentary bottles of still and sparkling water throughout your stay plus fresh milk provided every day for the coffee making facilities in the room.

Over the years we have been here many times as a supplier. Proving a Photo Booth to this lovely hotel is never an issue. The staff are always so friendly, the venue clean and fresh. Its a great place for a wedding or party and just a stones throw from the beach. Highly recommended.

A very nice hotel in a good location. We were upgraded to a deluxe double which was unexpected and the additional amenities and size were appreciated. The bed was extremely comfortable and large!|We stayed for 4 nights on a bed, breakfast and evening meal basis. The breakfast options were plentiful and the produce was of a good quality. Unfortunately the evening meal, on the Bistro menu, was of good quality but was limited in choice and it didn't change much over the 4 days. Also it wasn't clear on the menu what was included in the 'Secrets Escape' package.||We did enjoy our stay and the staff were helpful and attentive throughout.

Close walk to town centre and beach. The hotel itself is lovely. We went to celebrate my partners birthday, I mentioned it when I booked the room. When we arrived, there was a lovely edible gift awaiting him. Nice little touch. The woman on arrival and check-out looked after us well. Nice 24-hour bar. The only issue was that the lights in the hallway were on all the time. So when it came to sleep, the light peeked through the door. I think next time it would be better if the lights were automatic.

Stayed here for one night in a single room, though travelled as part of a larger group that booked a family room. The bed was wonderful, the room quaint and romantic and the hotel very well appointed with friendly staff and only a short walk from the beach. Sadly on the night I stayed there was a very loud event happening in a nearby hotel that rather ruined the ambience but I could see myself coming back another time with my partner for a quiet, romantic, evening.

Stayed here with partner for 3 nights in May 2025. Stayed in a Deluxe Double Room. Amenities were OK, but could be better. No fridge, TV could be better, and with no A/C, the room felt stuffy.||The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The breakfast every day was excellent and good, locally sourced produce.||My biggest gripe is the hotel looks tired and in need of better maintenance. Our room looked shabby in places, and the maintenance could be better. Shower plug hardly drained, sofa was well-worn, paintwork around windows was cracked and flaking.||I would imagine making money is tough in any hotel in 2025, but The Green House needs some TLC to stay a decent 4-star hotel.
