Fantastic second trip to this wonderful hotel. Great team that offer a relaxed but efficient service and are always on hand to help. We were in a lovely large room with an equally spacious bathroom area including a free standing bath, two heated towel rails (not sure that this would be in all rooms) and under floor heating. Good quality toiletries and fresh milk in the room. Extra comfortable bed and great night's sleep. Varied options for breakfast to suit, with flexibility to meet individual choices. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location. The staff were amazing and the food was phenomenal (go for the 7 course taster menu, it's definitely worth it!). The tranquil spa and comfy sofas by open fires are perfect for relaxation.

Our 4th visit to this hotel Yet again excellent accommodation Good food in the restaurant thought breakfast was basic. I felt the preset service charge although discretionary was unwarranted. I prefer to decide how much I give if any. Bar area is a little compact and it was a good job the weather was fine as a large party in for most of the day. Spa gave excellent service. Hotel staff were also excellent. Breakfast needed more staff. I still prefer silver service for dinner

Had our wedding here in September and exceeded all expectations - this really is a hidden gem around Cheltenham. ||Staff excellent throughout build up and on the day, food remained of very high standard for wedding guests, and rooms were excellent and newly refurbished. ||Key thing for us was all staff couldn't do enough to make the day go off even better than planned, constantly available and helping guests enjoy the hotel and gardens. ||Superb !

Stayed for 2 nights for our 28th wedding anniversary. The hotel was quiet and relaxing and our room 27 was clean, spacious and well equipped. Dinner and cooked breakfast in the restaurant was excellent (although the continental breakfast could have done with a few more options e.g. fruit, cheese and cold meats etc.). ||The staff were lovely, especially Nadia and Jasmine in the restaurant and Jane in the spa, who were efficient but also very warm, friendly and welcoming. The spa itself is small but very well laid out with steam room, sauna, outdoor hot tub, pool and a small gym (which could do with some heavier weights).||Unfortunately, due to the weather, we were unable to walk the grounds, but the view from the restaurant was amazing.||All in all, we had a lovely, relaxing time and will visit again.

I’ve never stayed at the hotel but I really enjoy the spa. It’s a small spa area but it’s very popular. A few areas need a little TLC like the lockers but overall a relaxing environment. Loved the bento boats I had last year while on a pre booked spa day and the drift away massage is highly recommended!!

Had three nights dinner, bed and breakfast at this lovely hotel. ||Fantastic food, and exceptional service. We were incredibly well looked after for the duration of our stay. We needed a relaxing break and the hotel and its fantastic team of staff certainly delivered this. ||My husband used the spa facilities and throughly enjoyed them. ||Location is great for exploring the area and recommend the walk up to the top of Crickley Hill, hard work but take it slow and steady and it’s well worth it, there is a cafe at the top to reward your efforts (alternatively drive up, there is a large car park). ||I’m sorry I’m rubbish with remembering names of the team members but in all honestly every interaction we had was positive and we always felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble. ||A special thank you to James who arranged our accommodation, incredibly kind. Our room was stunning and certainly contributed to making important memories for us. ||If we return to the Cotswolds I wouldn’t hesitate to book this lovely hotel. ||Thank you 🙏🏻

Google
Lovely hotel with friendly and attentive service. Our room was spacious and very well appointed. A lot of features are more 5 star than its official 4 star rating. The food, both evening and breakfast was outstanding. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Disreputable Hotel. Made a reservation 5 months before our stay which they Cancelled 2 weeks prior to the stay. Offered no other accommodation for the situation which was during the busy summer season. We were leaving for UK within days which leaves us scrambling and doing it all while we should be seeing London. There are numerous boutique hotels in this area. Try ANY of these first.

Yelp
Wonderful, comfortable, intimate country house hotel. The restaurant is expensive but everything it should be - my standards are very very sensitive to what I'm paying, and even given the size of the bill, no one puts a foot wrong. Rooms are not huge but beautifully decorated. Only downside of our last visit was that my husband wasn't that impressed with the continental breakfast, but the silly boy should just have had the full English, which was wonderful. Check the website for good value weekend deals.
