The Greenway Hotel & Spa

A group of six of us stayed at the hotel at the beginning of this week. I have to say this place is faultless. It's a beautiful, well maintained building with lots of comfortable space and the rooms are large, well appointed and spotless. The weather was extremely hot but we had 2 fans in our room, which really helped.|We were warmly welcomed by the lady in reception, who showed us to our room. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming but a special mention for Lisa and the other waitresses. Lisa showed an interest in us as a group and went out of her way to give us directions and recommendations as to where to eat, shop etc and she felt like a friend by the time we left!|We spent time in the spa area, which was very relaxing and on the second evening we enjoyed dinner in the garden.|I would definitely return if in the area and would be happy to recommend the hotel to family and friends.

My husband and I got married at the Greenway Hotel and Spa in the Spring. We had a very intimate ceremony and wedding breakfast in the Panel Room for ourselves and 6 guests. Elise did a great job with helping us make all the arrangements and making the room look lovely for us, we are very grateful for all her help. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Thank you to everyone who was involved in making our day a special one, we had such an amazing time. The hotel and grounds are stunning, the perfect backdrop to our special day. The rooms are so luxurious and comfortable, it was such a pleasure for us and our families to stay for two nights. Breakfast was also delicious. We highly recommend the hotel for both weddings and to stay! We would love to return in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel as a birthday treat, and I honestly can't recommend it enough. The staff were exceptional - so friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The grounds are beautiful and perfect for a relaxing walk, and the spa was lovely too. We brought our dog along, and while she wasn't allowed in the restaurant, the team kindly arranged a table for us in the lounge so we could still enjoy our meals together. Thoughtful touches like that made our stay truly memorable.

From entering the main door yesterday untill leaving today the staff and service were fantastic in the hotel and spa. Wonderful massage, facial, food absolutely beautiful, taste so fresh, presented very well also. We stayed in room 27, the balcony was extra special and private, beautifully decorated throughout the whole hotel, our 4th visit definitely not the last, a special treat. Thankyou all.

Visited Greenway for a relaxing break with my best friend. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. We were upgraded to a better room without asking, which was very nice. ||Enjoyed using the spa and the spa treatments. ||I am coeliac and need a gluten free diet and the hotel catered for me very well, with the exception of the sweets provided with the coffee/tea after the meal on the second night. Asked if they were gluten free, and they were not, and they thought giving me dry cheese biscuits was a suitable alternative. I thought they'd said cheese and biscuits but no, just plain biscuits!! Clearly no real thought given to this and not great for such a hotel.||Final bill initially was incorrect, trying to charge us for the spa use that was included in the price of the break when booked. Did sort it for us but when given a bill for nearly £350 more than it should have been really not great. ||Overall though, had a lovely break which was what my friend and I needed, food was lovely, staff were helpful and pleasant (although impatient when you ask to have a pause before dessert).

You do feel rather spoilt as you arrive at this stunning hotel. Lovely entrance hall and ushered into the bar. |Drinks are very pricey so ask how much before agreeing to a large glass of rose at £25 !!!!! Whispering Angel. I think she should be singing for that price !!!! Anyway. Lovely dining room. Nice breads and beautiful food. ( you need the bread tho as portions are tiny ) very nice service. Coffee inc in our meal package. Beautiful gardens too. Just a tad expensive but nothing is for nothing these days. A treat.

The hotel was beautiful, we had dinner there too which was amazing. One of the best spas I have been in. The grounds of the hotel were exceptional. Loved our stay there. A special mention to Camilla at reception who was so helpful and friendly, a lovely lady. Thank you!

Just had a one night stay with my mum and sisters to enjoy the spa and food, it was fantastic! Highly recommend! It was the staff that made the stay, I was so impressed with their service. Incredibly attentive without being intrusive! The reception team were so lovely and welcoming. The gentleman who made us our pre dinner cocktails was so lovely and even made a special request for my mum - nothing was too much trouble. Two girls served us a dinner and they handled the dietaries so carefully and were genuinely happy to help! The treatments were wonderful, the warm oil and head massage in the facial sent me to sleep even! Great facilities, the pool is spacious and it didn’t feel crowded at all. Lovely little gym. Again, the staff in the spa were all lovely! Also, the grounds of the hotel are very well looked after. Lovely to have a walk around! Can imagine it’s a stunning spot for a wedding! A thoughtful hotel who look after their guests. A great stay - we will be back with the dogs in tow!
