Stopped here for lunch with my mother. We sat outside, because it was quieter....for a while. A table of loud, noisy young girls and a boy on our right got into some sort of volume contest with the two men on our left. Worst of all, not only were both tables boring, but they finished their food and drinks and stayed, braying and yapping, long afterwards. Ugh.
Our server was Maya, who was adorable, very cheerful and friendly. Unfortunately, my lunch order was either lost or given to someone else. My mother's blueberry bread and coffee arrived fairly quickly, but 20 or 25 minutes later, my sandwich was still missing. Fortunately, Maddy came to check on us, and when I told her that I hadn't gotten my sandwich, she went to find out what happened to it, and then came back to tell us that it was on the way, and that she took it off the bill. That was really nice!!
When the sandwich finally arrived, it was delicious. Perfectly grilled and totally yummy. The side salad was fresh and crisp, dressed in a lemon vinaigrette. My mother really enjoyed her blueberry bread and coffee. It's a very cute place inside, too. I would definitely go back if I were in the neighborhood. Brunch is served all day! And the veggie burger, my original choice, must be amazing, because it was sold out.
