My partner surprised me here for our 2-year anniversary, and the vibe was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in, there was live music playing which set the tone perfectly. We arrived a little early, so we sat by the bar for a bit and the drinks were delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. They moved us into the romance room and we had the entire room to ourselves, which made the night feel so special. They always made sure we were well taken care of. The hostess, who was a bit older, was an absolute doll and so lovely to talk to. I really wish I had gotten her name. Our waitress was just as kind and attentive. I will definitely be back. I also never thought pomegranate, pistachio, and Brussels sprouts would go together, but it ended up being my favorite appetizer. Such a beautiful experience.

Grey Stone is an absolute gem. The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the atmosphere was beautiful with tasteful decor that really elevates the dining experience. Mary, the owner, was incredibly kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She took the time to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel genuinely welcomed. You can tell she truly cares about both the food and the guests. Highly recommend Grey Stone for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a warm, inviting environment. I’ll definitely be coming back.

We had an incredible experience at The Grey Stone. I drive past this location several times a week for work and have wanted to visit but wasn't sure if I would enjoy it or not. Finally I decided I would give it a try. The restaurant was beautiful, the food was incredible, and our service was remarkable. We hadn't ever visited a restaurant quite like this one so we felt a little nervous and a lot out of place however our waitress, K.r.y.s.t.y.n.a (sorry my phone kept autocorrecting your name) made us feel incredibly welcomed. She was very knowledgeable about the menu both food and drinks as I had several questions. She really aided in making our night a success. My husband and I have been to other "fancier" type restaurants and were not treated the way K.r.y.s.t.y.n.a treated us. She really was an incredible waitress. Her hospitality and her way of putting us at ease really made everything come together. The food, the food was incredible, the steak was cooked to perfection. The mashed sweet potatoes were some of the best I've ever had, and the glazed carrots were absolutely delicious. I am looking to visit again for our anniversary, and I recommend The Grey Stone any opportunity I get.

Our experience was like sailing with strong winds then only to have them die and never return. We had a rough go of The Grey Stone and to be clear, there is no one to blame or fingers to point but it was our experience of the place on top of being our first time and it didn't paint a strong picture. Long story short, we came into a packed restaurant and service & food was good up until our appetizers which we were pleasantly pleased with. Then it wasn't till approximately an hour and half later when we received our entrees. During that wait, we saw multiple tables who were seated after us receiving main courses. After that a woman who never identified herself said that anything else we ordered was going be comp'd. Several things "wrong" with this as it implies we now have to stay even LONGER for retribution and we have to eat MORE instead of making things "right" with what was already accounted for. Here's the kicker, we ordered two deserts and a coffee and they NEVER comp'd the coffee; it was just funny at that point. The food was great but we were there for 3hrs+ and it sucked the life out of our night...we will never be returning.

Amazing food! Beautiful atmosphere and Excellent staff! The quality of food and drinks are excellent value for the price. They have an extensive craft beer menu, and list all allergens. Vallet parking on the day we came (Saturday)

I came to The Greystone in March to celebrate my best friend's birthday, and everything was amazing. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere felt really cozy but still special. We took some pictures because the food looked just as good as it tasted! It was the perfect spot for a birthday dinner, and we had such a good time. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a nice place to celebrate or just enjoy a great meal.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Grey Stone and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere, blending historic charm with modern elegance. The menu showcases creative American cuisine with seasonal ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the spring beet salad and orange tzatziki—it was both fresh and flavorful. The Truffle Tots with roasted garlic were a standout appetizer. For dessert, the Milk Chocolate Tiramisu with walnut caramel brittle was indulgent and satisfying.  Service was attentive and friendly. Our server ensured we were well taken care of, and Chef Robert brought out all our dishes, which added a personal touch. The outdoor seating area is beautifully arranged, perfect for a pleasant evening. The ambiance, combined with the quality of food and service, makes The Grey Stone an excellent choice for special occasions, brunch or a refined night out!

Delicious fresh and amazing!! If i could give a 100 star review i would. Not only was the food outstanding but the customer service was also!! Courtney gave me amazing recommendations and was super attentive even with it being busy around us. Chef rob came out and greeted us answering all the questions about my boyfriends food allergies. The drinks were delicious. Over all a 10/10 experience!!

It's going to be difficult to focus on one good thing about The Grey Stone when everything about it was outstanding. The staff at this establishment made me feel so special for my birthday. A huge shout out to our server, Danny, who was the sweetest, most kind man we've ever had wait on us. It's rare to find a server these days who you can tell truly enjoys their job. We dined here last night and despite it being busy, the dishes were delivered quickly and with zero flaws. To start, we ordered the general tso cauliflower and fried goat cheese. Both were great portion sizes. The cauliflower had just enough tang from the general tso sauce and the fried goat cheese simply melted in my mouth. I'm making the assumption that Grey Stone changes their menu seasonally as the menu we were given said "autumn". I took full advantage of this and ordered the pumpkin gnocchi for my entree as this will probably be the last time I consume anything pumpkin until next year. It was delicious. Danny checked in and asked if I did not enjoy the gnocchi because I didn't finish it (I was too full) but he offered a box and promised me it would taste just as good, if not better, the next day. Lastly, Danny asked if we would care for a dessert menu as I would be receiving a complimentary dessert for my birthday. I didn't snap a picture, but I chose the salted caramel creme brûlée. I'm typically not one to order creme brûlée but I can tell this one was made with love. It was the best sweet and salty treat after dinner. I'm excited to see what The Grey Stone has in store for the winter season! We will definitely return to try some different menu items.

I hate giving this place a bad review but I just had my second bad meal in the last 2 weeks. This restaurant has a real great outdoor space as well as a nice indoor space but the food is not very good. When it first opened the food was good but it's like there isn't a chef in the kitchen now. First I brought my family for dinner and my wife's crab cake was horrible. Tasted like a really bad fish cake with no taste of crab. My son's prime rib was uneatable so it was sent back. Everyone had issues with their meal. Even the appetizers were poor. The calamari was deep fried to a point of unrecognizable food. The second visit was for lunch. I had the and wagyu steak sandwich which was a wagyu fat and gristle sandwich. There is no excuse. Whomever cooked that sandwich had to know what was in it. I dare the cook to eat it. Definitely not recommended and never going back.

Service was a bit slow, but the staff is nice. The food is decent. This was my fourth visit here.

I actually like a lot about this restaurant. First the restaurant is beautiful. It's a great setting for a a casual lunch or a more intimate dinner. Basically it's a unique space to a handle various experiences. Basically, it looks good. Secondly, the staff is amazing. The service from top to bottom is superb. The food was ok though. The highlight of our meal would have to be the short rib fries. These were spectacular. I would actually return for those fries. The fried goat cheese was different. I didn't hate it, but not really a fan. The rest of the meal was lackluster. Not too high, but not too low. But again, those fries were great. Yeah, eat those

wonderful food, service and ambience. Just lovely! Grey Stone is steeped in history and has that Bucks County inn charm we love. Whether for an event or special occasion, Grey Stone delievers a wonderful experience.

We had a really nice dinner at the Grey Stone. I had been wanting to try this place for a while, and we finally made it in for dinner last week. The restaurant was bigger than I expected, but nice inside and the outside looked nice as well. I started with a cocktail which was good, and my fiancé had a beer from their extensive beer list. We also ordered the lamb sliders as an appetizer which were delicious- 2 decent sized sliders with some greens on the side. I had the butternut squash soup which was also very good, but I would've expected a slightly larger portion for the cost. I ordered a side of truffle fries, and that portion was very generous. My fiancé had the cheesesteak, which was absolutely delicious as well. For dessert, we ordered the maple creme brûlée and the chocolate cake, which were both great- the chocolate cake was huge and we took most of it home with us. While the service was very friendly, it was a bit lacking. I used my napkin to clean up a small spill on the table, as well as for condensation which was building up (they might benefit from placemats or coasters) and despite asking for a new napkin 2-3 times I never received one and had to eat my meal without a napkin. I also was originally brought the wrong side dish, and by the time my fries were brought out my soup was getting cold. It was frustrating that the timing of my meal was disrupted, and I wish they had offered more than just an apology to make up for it. One other thing to note- they have a complimentary valet. We were not aware of this before we arrived, and it seemed that self parking wasn't an option. It would have been helpful to know this in advance, as we didn't have cash on hand to tip the valet. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, and there were plenty of things on the menu we would like to try next time!

My party and I ordered a assortment of entrees, ranging from seafood to beef and veal. All of our food came out quickly and our drinks were always filled. Our server, Jen, was attentive and made sure we had everything we could want or need. The hostess, who I presume is the owner, showed us around the lush garden. Breath taking to say the least. Love this place as it has a variety of options for seating for any occasion you have with your family and friends. All the food and drinks were fantastic and will definitely bring my business back.

Had dinner there one of the last summer evenings in fall! Service was excellent along w the food. We started w an asian cauliflower that was excellent and unusual. We both had a wonderful kale salad one w big shrimp and the other w juicy slices of chicken. We will be back!

Returned after a fantastic lunchtime experience. Dinner was even better! Solid wine list. Good selection of apps as you wait for the entrees. We were in a group of four and let the waitress know we planned on hanging out a bit. She was super attentive and positively absent. Absolute five star experience

The credit card surcharge is ridiculous with the already huge markup on the menu items. You are doing yourselves a disservice being petty being an upscale restaurant. Just bury the cost in the menu. Other than that, the place is nice.

We had the most fabulous lunch today! Only concern was the restaurant didn't have our reservation although I had received a confirmation. It didn't matter since there were plenty of available tables outdoors. Despite the gloomy chill, quite a number of diners sat with us in the beautiful garden. They lit outdoor warmers and all was fine. We decided to share the autumn salad requesting romaine be substituted for the kale. The salad came plated beautifully with individual dressings. The dish was superb! We both chose what we named the greatest sandwich EVER... Prime rib cheesesteak with carmelized onions and foie gras with truffle fries. I do not have the vocabulary to adequately describe this treat. Half of it is in my fridge to be enjoyed later, but I know I'll be going back to Greystone again for this one particular item. Service was outstanding as was every aspect of the Greystone's hospitality. I encourage you to go there soon!

We just had an amazing dinner!!! We started out with an amuse-bouche of Scallops that were out of this world. Then we had Octopus and it was so incredibly tender. For dinner we had the Red Snapper and it was cooked to perfection. We ended the evening with dessert and coffee. Well worth the hour drive in each direction. Can't wait to come back.

We came here to celebrate early Valentine's Day. Absolutely gorgeous location, immediately noticed how clean it was. Hostess was very friendly and server Diane was exceptional. The pasta was homemade and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the scallops with broccolini and the goat cheese appetizer. Everything was perfect including beverages. Can't wait to come back.

Dinner at Graystone was outstanding. The inside is nicely appointed and the patio is spectacular... and huge! Our server was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. He was very patient, answering all our questions. The Short Rib Fries app was excellent. Tender short rib meat and creamy fondue atop crispy fries. My husband and I shared this (and fought over the last bite). Our friends had the Fried Calamari. It had an equal balance of whole baby octopus, tentacles and rings. The batter was very light and crisp. With the dipping sauce, this appetizer was a hit! All our entrées were totally on point. Tender, flaky salmon; crab cakes that were all lump crab; Dymanite shrimp tacos stuffed with shrimp. The sides were fantastic as well. Creamy corn polenta, forbidden rice and asparagus. We were all completely happy and satisfied (not stuffed) after eating. However, we were too full for dessert. Maybe we'll start with dessert next time! I say next time because there will definitely be a next time! This was our first time at Graystone but most certainly not our last!

We had the nicest server Friday tonight, she was super pleasant and helpful. We thought she was exceptional and a breath of fresh air. Her sunny personality really added to our experience. The outdoor seating is the nicest in the area, it's a beautiful setting and the food is good. Just a nice way to end the week.

Just held a baby shower for our daughter and son-in-law at Grey Stone Fine Food. It was absolutely perfect. The people are great including Tori, Donna, and Diane. The people behind the scenes are also great. The food, service, ambience, table layout, drinks ... you name it ... were "spot on". People enjoyed themselves, raved about the food, and said it was the best ever. We will be back!

Fresh delicious food every time. The octopus, Bolognese, salmon and garlic Cesar are among our favorites!

Our reservation was on 11/1. It was for our wedding anniversary. Our waitress was great and very sweet; however, the quantity of alcohol and food for the prices is definitely overpriced. My husband ordered the duck and received 3 slices that may have amounted to 3 ounces along with about 3/4 cup of white rice. Definitely not worth $40. My burger was average; not worth $18. The soup was good, but not worth the price, either. It is disappointing to spend over $100 and still have someone be hungry afterwards. It was a special occasion for us and fell flat. Also the hostesses were quite rude & had attitudes. Hardly any eye contact, no greeting and acted like they were being bothered. They didn't say goodbye when we left. They also were wearing house slippers, which we found to be very odd. Update: Received a voicemail from Christina on 11/10 that sounded quite annoyed. She said she wanted a call back to, in her words, "get to the bottom of this". I feel very uncomfortable as her tone came off as confrontational. I played it for 3 other people to confirm that I wasn't taking it the wrong way. I don't feel a need to discuss this any further if that is how the business is ran when my husband and I, as parents of 4, spent a lot of money and never get to go out, have a bad experience especially on our 14 year wedding anniversary.

Over the top excellent with service, food and atmosphere for our celebration lunch...15 women. Danny was one of the best servers ever. He wanted to please and made it all seem effortless. I picked the restaurant and I felt responsible...it was truly a winner. My favorite is the general Tso's cauliflower. It is an appetizer but I order it as lunch. Generous portion which makes for a nice lunch. However...the burgers looked AMAZING! Most everyone ordered that and each one was cooked exactly as requested...impressive. As big as the burgers were they all pretty much licked their plates...ha! We sat outside on their beautiful deck and lucked out with a magnificent fall day, however, they have plenty of outdoor heaters to stretch the season. I am so thrilled to have this local restaurant as we seem to have become regulars. It is that good.

Seven of us went to celebrate some October birthdays, and we all enjoyed our appetizers and meals, as well as our desserts! They do have a limited menu but the choices are unique. Everything went well, food came out fast, drinks fast, and desserts, too! However, after desserts it took forever for our bill to come, probably close to 45 mins to an hour. I can't understand why but I know it's too long especially for elderly people to sit that long. It's also expensive but a nice place and atmosphere for a celebration or to treat yourself. Birthday dessert is included in your meal so that was awesome, too!

Came here for my mom's birthday on Friday night. For starters this place is a zoo as in so many people. It was a Friday night and you will definitely need a reservation. They have valet as well which is convenient. We sat outside and the ambiance/aesthetic is the best part. It was so nice! Lots of space and tables and string lights and just super cute. The food was tasty. We got the cauliflower general tso's or whatever, so good. The shrimp was fire and the grilled octopus too. For dinner I regretted getting the chicken cutlet sandwich but that's my fault. Cocktails were okay nothing crazy, but this is a good spot for a special occasion. A bit pricey.

We had a great dinner at the Gray Stone. The new fall menu is out and they've done a great job. The pumpkin soup is so delicious and the presentation was like something you'd see in a Michelin star restaurant. The veal parm was so good, I started eating it before I could take a picture. They put us in a great space and our server, Jen, handled our large group with perfection. Such a great spot to enjoy good food with family and friends!

The Grey Stone is impressive looking with beautiful grounds and lovely fountains and fairy lights. Our server, Greg, was friendly and attentive and possibly the best waiter we have ever had. So how good would the food be? It was fabulous!!! We loved everything we ordered from the appetizer, dynamite shrimp, Grey Stone merlot - yum, the Shrimp Risotto was perfectly prepared, as was the salmon dish. I had a side of carrots and beets with goat cheese- so good! A shared Limoncello cake was the grand finale. Everyone there was so friendly, including hostess & bussers! The owner asked us on the way out how we enjoyed our meal and sincerely thanked us for coming! We will definitely be back.

Greystone has an insanely gorgeous outdoor patio. The space is enormous and is filled with multiple tables, cabanas, bar areas and even a garden. That's why on a gorgeous Sunday at around lunch time it was really surprising to see that we were the only people eating in the entire space. And after we ordered and ate I was even more surprised about this. Everything that we had was delicious. The meal started off with rose watermelon sangria which honestly, can just never be bad. This drink was sweet and refreshing and we all liked it so much that we ordered two. For my meal I started off with fried goat cheese balls. The order came with three and they were so rich that it was hard to get more than 1 and a half. It's basically just a deep fried mound of goat cheese ::drool:: and the balls were served above arugula, figs and prosciutto. I also ordered a small buffalo cauliflower Caesar salad. For the small sized portion the salad was pretty large, so I'd imagine a large portion is a very filling lunch. The buffalo cauliflower was super tasty -- tangy but not too spicy which is how I like it. The menu is big and there are lots of lunch options like sandwiches, burgers and various salads. The interior is also pretty massive with lots of party rooms, so it wasn't surprising to learn that you could host a big event here. Maybe it was just an off day for them. Given the beautiful setting, solid food and service and summery patio drinks it's surprising that they'd be so empty on a gorgeous Sunday. Try them out!

Stopped by for a delicious lunch. Greeting was cordial. Food, as usual, was outstanding....but...FLIES ( an entire family) disrupted my visited and landed on my chocolate martini, water, and main course. Server was alerted to this ( I apologize for that, she stated), but made no concessions regarding alternate seating, etc. Mind you...the visit was INSIDE..not outdoors and the fly family took great joy in my fanning them away, swapping, etc, throughout the visit. My appetite was ruined; I left 90 % of my food due to the disgusting nature of the courtiers that refused to be banished. I was offered a container, but declined. Who could eat after that??? ...

Great food, amazing service and great atmosphere. We ordered the special drinks and they were fantastic. The entrées were huge. I am taking leftovers home.

What a great night! Sitting outside on the patio on a beautiful evening was just the way I wanted to celebrate my birthday! Our server Jen was awesome- so personable, friendly, helpful and generous (serving me a surprise strawberry shortcake as a birthday treat). The food was delicious- first time getting octopus and will not be the last, lamb burger was juicy and flavorful and the fried chicken with the spicy honey siracha sauce and cheddar mashed potatoes was the best my husband says he's ever had. The staff was attentive and made sure we were doing well taken care of. We will definitely return to this new neighborhood favorite!!

Great food and service. Will definitely be back. The only negative was the forced valet parking and the LED strip lighting which were very bright and distracting.

We just love this place! We had a fabulous bridal shower and the service and set up and food was excellent! We went back for an early dinner one night and our two entrees were just amazing. We intend on trying to dine there more frequently because we love the setting and ambience as well. Highly Recommend!

Delicious seasonally changing menu! Beautiful inside and outside atmosphere as well as party room. The staff is super friendly and attentive.

We have given Grey Stone a number of tries over the last 2-3 years. After being disappointed several times last year we gave it a year off. We decided to try again last night, but were again disappointed. We ordered a shrimp appetizer where the chips were stale and the shrimp was extremely fishy smelling and tasting. I had halibut and my wife had scallops. The fish itself was tasty, but my risotto was over-done, and the rock shrimp were, similar to the appetizer, very fishy smelling and tasting. My wife's scallops were good, but the base of vegetables and spices was not. Our overall impression is that Grey Stone is attempting to be a fine dining establishment without the knowledge or ability to perform as such. Certainly not in the caliber of Rocco's at The Brick or The Washington Crossing Inn, which are both within 5 miles. Bottom line - if you want a nice outdoor atmosphere for drinks, The Grey Stone is great, but don't go expecting a good meal.

Fun cocktails. Quick service - a little too quick. Everything tasted good, portions were ample. Prices are fair. Dessert was delicious! My main reason for going out to dinner :) We'll go back when it's warmer to sit on the patio.

This was my first time at this restaurant and I have a few issues. The restaurant itself is very nice an the people are very nice, My issue is with a few things. One, the service is painfully slow, painfully slow. Our orders took forever to come out and when I thought my meal was finally coming out, our server came out and said that the special needs I asked about were in question, which meant essentially that while I was thinking the actual meal was on it's way to us, it ACTUALLY HADN'T EVEN BEEN STARTED. My drink (an iced tea-nothing fancy-not alcohol) took forever to come and refills were even longer. The hummus appetizer had no flavor at all, and I am a lover of hummus and I could not even eat it. With the change in courses, the trash and dishes from the previous course were left on the table. Here is the part that put me over the edge and is a MAJOR issue for me. They charge to use a credit card. I know this has been gaining traction with a lot of businesses, but the business has the duty to disclose this especially someplace where the bill is always high. How many people will use cash at a restaurant? And putting this in a tucked away place on the menu does not cut it, and frankly is a cheesy way to say you advertised it but really don't want anyone to actually see it. If you feel so strongly that you need to pass on this charge to the customer, own it and make others know it BEFORE they order and on a menu, something with a LOT of words and where it is easy to miss is just lazy. You want to be honest about the cash grab? Put it in big writing on the front of the menu, post it at the hostess station and have the server say it before the order is placed at the table. If you think it is a good business model to surprise diners with the up charge at the time the bill is bought to the table, then I think you are being dishonest. I would not have come to your restaurant had I known as I am opposed to this practice and how it is shared at the last minute instead of upfront. We reduced the tip by the amount of the upcharge for using a credit card for a $300 bill. This does not make me cheap, I am far from it. It makes me angry that your restaurant is so greedy.

Consistently receive delicious food in a welcoming atmosphere. They know how to prepare tender octopus here (I almost hate to let the secret out!) Short rib entree is delicious as well. Maybe a little bit pricey sometimes, but we always have a good time and the quality is appreciated.

I was part of a lunch group of 12 people there to celebrate the 80th birthday of a member in the party. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and they were VERY accommodating. The reservation was for outdoor dining. It was too windy and chilly for the group. They then moved us to a private room for indoor dining. They then lit the fireplace in the room so everyone was comfortable. Everyone in the party said they would return for another wonderful meal.

What a dumpster fire.... I attempted to host an event at The Grey Stone and it was a disaster since they placed our event (a quieter talk) along with a party in an open-air section. Our speaker had to shout to be heard, making for a really uncomfortable atmosphere. When asked for some accommodation for the mistake, we were offered "no room fee" on the next event, which was laughable given the fact that we didn't get whatever the room fee was supposed to cover in the first place. By the time we were told to shove our problems (politely by a reasonable GM), it almost didn't matter that the salads were 20 minutes late or the fact that the carolers they promised weren't going to sing until after the presentation instead started singing for the last 15 min. (I wish I could make this up - they parked an event with carolers next to a seminar...Mensa-level decision-making...) The final straw was that I was asked to wait so the owner could come talk to me, and then he/she never had the courage to show up (sending the polite GM back into battle for them instead). I question how anyone could work for a leader with such low integrity. I feel terrible for all of their employees. (If they only knew how many better jobs there are out there.) Avoid this place at all costs. It's not worth your money, your time, or your effort. (And to think they could have avoided this review if the owner simply had the guts to come talk to me and make it right.)

Still in this place, just finished my meal. So much not to like. If you sit in a booth, your feet dangle like you are a small child. Then they present overpriced water options. The choice we made turned out to be $8 /bottle. Appetizer of Octopus was so lacking in actual food, it was absurd. Barely a full single tentacle. It was four snips of a tentacle of less than an inch each for $20. Robbery. Entree was average at best. Overpriced. Nobody in the party was impressed with the food. Service was very good. Nice looking place. Never going back here. So many other great options in Newtown.

I love this place! I think the food and the service is fabulous! The restaurant is always being cleaned. Bathrooms are spotless, our waitress Donna was wonderful & our bartender Kristen was amazing! Everyone always friendly and a good vibe all around:) such a great addition to Newtown...you should make a reservation! Even better out on the patio!!

Sadly, this place needs an update to their menu. They try to present a "gourmet" presentation and seem to not understand that adding a multitude of ingredients makes for a wonderful mix of taste. Had the crab cakes that were smothered in sauce that was supposed to be a shrimp sauce that was inedible. Sent it back to remove the sauce. Crab cakes were not lump crab, buy frozen Phillip's and you'll be much happier. Sent that back too. Settled on arancini appetizer for dinner which was ok except for dipping sauces. Dining partner only could find smash burger to order. Caesar salad is not what you will expect at all. Cocktails are light on the liquor. Service was good, not paced properly and the server was more like a Applebees level server although very nice. Space is beautiful and the owner came over to introduce herself, and was very nice. She asked about difficulties with food. Chef brought out replacement crab cakes and just basically threw them at me. Would return in the summer to eat outside because the patio is beautiful and order chicken sandwiches!

Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of my food but it was all amazing. This is the second time I have eaten here and unless things change I will def keep coming back. We stopped in for lunch and had the octopus appetizer which was absolutely phenomenally cooked. It had big thick pieces of octopus which was split between my husband and I and there was definitely enough. I hate when you order octopus and they give you skinny tiny pieces. (I will turn my back on you once this happens Lol!) it was so tender and just perfect! Then we had the Prime cheesesteak with truffle fries and lamb burger. Omg both amazing and perfectly cooked!! We also ordered two drinks, the summer blockbuster and the Vision of Mystic. (Applause needed) WOW delish!!! Summer blockbuster can be drank literally one after another all day long. The Vision of mystic is a bit on the sweet side and is like a drink you have to start your days the beach in Bahamas then slow down with something else but a must have to start off with! Staff was amazing as well very friendly and attentive which was refreshing! Only complaint I have is the booths. They are way too tall and my legs we're literally dangling. They kept falling asleep, this is why I deducted one star, otherwise it would have been a perfect 5 star review. This can be fixed if you make rectangular boxes placed where the feet rest almost like a step in front of the booth. It can be easily made and attached to the existing booths. I'm sure any handyman can make this. My husband is 6 foot tall and his feet were barely touching. It really is uncomfortable and I do hope you guys are able to fix this. I'm an all time booth person so I don't prefer tables, but love your establishment otherwise. Can't wait to come back soon and hopefully your booths will be fixed!

The outdoor patio is GIGANTIC AND ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! My girlfriends and I came here on a Friday night to listen to Danny Lynch who plays awesome music. Unfortunately, the neighbors complained about the noise so he didn't play :(. Who would complain about noise? It's free entertainment! The food was good. Just wish they had more of a selection to choose from as the menu was very limited. This place definitely has potential if they would just amp up the menu.

First time and while we weren't blown away, we definitely want to come back. Hostesses and servers were friendly, young, and eager. Food was...good. We started with General Tso's Cauliflower. Pieces were huge but we were glad they weren't drenched in batter and deep fried. Requested wasabi ranch on the side. It had a nice zing to it. The Thai peanut salad (add grilled shrimp) was...good. The radicchio was on the bitter side and I asked for additional dressing to enhance the peanut flavor. Also requested a side plate for shrimp tails. Husband had Pad Thai with chicken and felt it could have had more heat, but appreciated this isn't a Thai restaurant and needs to appeal to many. We were thrilled to find a favorite beer, Duchess De Bourgogne, on tap. We sat outdoors on the expansive back patio and enjoyed the evening. The owner stopped by to check on us and chatted briefly. Already looking forward to our next visit!

As soon as we walked in to Greystone it was obvious the new owners put alot of money into renovating the old Lavender Hall. Although mostly black and grey, the front bar/ lounge was beautifully sedate, and the dining room spacious with room between tables and large windows bringing in late afternoon light before the coming of dusk. It was impressive, and on this Tuesday evening, not crowded at all, which enhanced the sense that we had chosen well. We were seated at a table mid floor, but asked to be moved near an electric outlet in order to charge a cell phone. They graciously obliged. Our server quickly introduced himself and brought drink and food menus. The wine and beer lists were broad enough without necessitating a trip to the wine cellar. My old friend selected a glass of zinfandel, while my beautiful date picked a light small brewery pilsner, and I a pineapple cider (delicious). We settled in with the drinks and caught up while perusing the menu. We kept dinner on the lighter side, with a Chopped Greek Salad, Mushroom Burger and Fig Jam Burger for yours truly. At $15 per slider, the price was high, but still much more in line with our appetites than the entrees which were double the cost. So, we felt that management was smart to offer smaller options that allowed for drinks and/apps and a reasonable bottom line. Besides, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The burgers were half pounders with brioche rolls and homemade potato chips or fries. The fig jam added a nice sweet dimension to my burger. My friend asked for grilled scallops added to the salad, but when the kitchen lacked them, they inquired if he would be satisfied with shrimp instead. He was. We were happy with our experience at Greystone. It was qualitatively superior to the previous tenants who tried to make a go of it in the old mansion on the road between Newtown and Washington Crossing. The outdoor patio looked appealing, but with the steam heat unrelenting even into the evening, now was not the time to try it out. This was an interlude even George himself would enjoy.

Celebrating our friends new home purchase. Valet parking right out front. An old stone house, perhaps from Dutch times. It was 7pm Saturday in August. We had a reservation. Checked in with the hostess. There were actually three young women greeting us. There is some interesting art in the foyer. We were seated promptly at a booth. Oddly, the seats did not permit our feet to reach the floor. The table was wobbly. The dining room is spacious with about 15 tables and a line of booths at one end. There is a small bar which we passed on our way to be seated. It looked like live music was being set up. We noticed a spacious outdoor area with plenty of seating and another bar. Server came by and began explaining the specials - we did not have that menu so she retrieved one. She wanted to take our food order with our cocktails - we slowed her down. We each ordered a cocktail. My gin martini was fine. Others enjoyed their drinks. Next we got some appetizers and ordered a bottle of wine, R Strong cabernet. My appetizer was wonderful - roasted octopus. Perfectly tender and singed on the edges. My wife could not resist having a bit. The portion was large. Served over a bed of arugula. Excellent. Others got shrimp, and gazpacho. They liked their dishes. Wine was poured and we ordered mains. I got the ahi tuna - very good, with a tasty crust. The fish melted in my mouth. Rare as recommended by the chef. Others got filet mignon, shrimp and ribs. The food here is very good. We did not get dessert. We went outside into the back after the meal and had an after dinner drink. There is no table service out there but the bar is nearby and easily accessible. Comfortable seating on a beautiful Summer night. It looked like it could handle a large event. With the quality of the food here they have a great foundation and there is potential for this to become a fine dining destination stop, in my view. A few things could be improved. The service was lumpy. Our server was nice enough but we had to slow her down a few times and explain a few things to her she did not know what a vesper was and informed us that the bartender would not know either. Our cocktails came in waves instead of together. I asked for our wine to be decanted. There was no decanter in the place. Get a couple of decanters. Ambiance is interesting. One of us thought that the place still does not know what it wants to be. I felt like we were sitting in a bistro. Others thought the dining area was like a cafeteria. We all liked the outdoor area. They need to fix the booth table. Value was ok. Our meal for four came to $404, with gratuity. About right for a nice dinner with wine in Bucks county. We say, food "a", service "c", ambiance "c", value "b". We will return. Mark & Nancy.
